101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on VIP Programs in casinos? on: January 10, 2024, 09:30:28 AM
Yes, even if I'm not a VIP on every casino I am playing. Depending on how you treat it, having a VIP status is some kind of achievement or sometimes milestones in our gambling career. Also, it benefits all of the VIP by having bonuses given by the casino and some perks along side with it, why would anyone won't like that. Having a VIP is something that you can boast for especially if the VIP status is so much harder to get, it is sometimes the status that people want  Roll Eyes.
102  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gamer Streamer to Gambling Streamer? on: January 10, 2024, 06:24:05 AM

When in doubt, don't connect. Also, use burner wallets or dummy wallet sa mga websites na di kayo sure. Maraming na drain wallet last bull market and I believe mas dadami pa ito this trend since usong uso ang interaction sa mga altcoins ngayon.

Stay safe guys.

With newbies or recently woke up account making false accusation to the ANN thread of the site, it will only try to derail the ANN topic. So it's better if all ANN thread are "self moderated", so useless post like that can be deleted and it will make the ANN thread clean.

Maybe some people would say that it will defeat the transparency of locking the thread, hell no, a user that was scammed can always make a scam accusation on a specific board, attached all the necessary document and the community will hear it.
As far as I know, there's no way that the thread creator can self moderate a thread after publishing it. I doubt that Betcoin will delete this thread for the sake of making it a self moderated thread.

There are a lot of this newbies who are doing accusation on ANN thread of other casinos and not just only here. We don't know what is happening on the background but there might be someone paying someone to derail the reputation of casinos in this forum, it's just my speculation because there are a lot of non-sense accusation of newbies that are made poorly which made it unbelievable. Casino representative ignores those scam accusations, also forum members especially if it doesn't make any sense. Weak scam accusation doesn't have proofs or anything that can stand their claims, newbies who just want to mess up on someone casino are the one who are doing weak accusations.
106  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 09, 2024, 07:13:24 AM
for example, it was normal for a tennis game in this casino to have odds of 1.65 for the favorite while in other casinos to have odds of 1.55 or 1.57, so it wasn't a big difference to the point that people ran a high risk of seeing their funds confiscated in this casino, I I kept thinking, how people could be so blind or greedy to the point of thinking it was worth taking the risk of losing all the money just because of a difference of 0.10 in odds, it was something that didn't fit in my head. and unfortunately the reason why so many people fell for the scam made by this casino is why people are fooled by the odds offered by this casino
It actually makes sense as to why so many people got tempted by 1xbit odds since I got tempted by them too back when I was an amateur punter who didn't really know about its reputation.

There were so many great arbitrage opportunities due to those slight differences in odds, but I did my research and avoided investing there smartly.
An better odds is still better profits at the end of the day. It's just that there are people who don't do their research about the casino they are playing but cares with the possible profit they can make from different casino. This is why there are people who is still being victimize by this casino, and shortly after being scammed, that the only time that they will do a research and ended up coming to this forum and posting in this thread.

A additional profit is tempting after all. It's good that you didn't take on the rough opportunity that 1xbit gave to their potential victims, posing as a casino that has a better odds compared to the legit casinos.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: January 09, 2024, 06:51:35 AM
Crypto casinos used to be a unique experience on each site on the first years of cryptogambling. There was awesome sites like Satoshi Bones, 999dice, Luckybit, PrimeDice, and other ones, but each one was a different gambling experience.

But then the crypto gambling industry makes a big step and start offering provider services, that way the casinos don't have to code their own games and have a big number of slots and games on the site. Now everything works with providers on the gambling industry and that's why most casinos are similar nowadays.
Yep, there are casino who can provide the same game experience given that they rely on provider services. Casinos are just fighting who has the more edge on them like having very good promotion that can attract people, good deposit and withdrawal time, less strict with their terms and condition, vast deposit options, their unique games and other features. But when in terms of games such as slots, there's not much difference between majority of the casino nowadays given that they rely on game providers.

It is a really good options for new casinos to rely on these services because of the ease in developing their casino, but at the same time bad at them because they are removing the uniqueness that separates them from other casinos.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Who Owed Satoshi Money? on: January 09, 2024, 06:23:26 AM
Under the new IRS rules, you have to report  any receipt of crypto over $10k. So, Satoshi has to dox himself, OR break the law

How are you so sure that Satoshi is an American?

We all have our own speculations just like mine, I have a feeling that satoshi is a Japanese based on his/her name, even satoshi's gender is undefineable and I don't have enough evidence so I never discussed it with other people, I hope others will do the same. It's better not to release a statement especially if it's not true, to avoid rumors especially nowadays that people around are easily believe in fake news without checking the facts.
After all of the rumors around for years about who is satoshi, there's no really concrete evidence who satoshi nakamoto is. Maybe there's a small chance that theymos who inherited this forum from satoshi has a small clue who satoshi really was though I also doubt that even theymos will reveal his knowledge about satoshi whereabouts.

Basically the new IRS rules can't affect satoshi nakamoto as long satoshi don't dox himself. Even if someone dox themselves as satoshi nakamoto and pay the fine of the IRS rules for the sake of making the public acknowledge him, I will doubt certainly doubt that person. The only way that I will believe someone is if the wallet addresses that are tagged to satoshi has moved to their address.

Satoshi Nakamoto will be mystery that we will try to figure out for the rest of our lives.
109  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: January 08, 2024, 09:58:48 AM
You can watch this video from 07:20 if you want to skip on the other parts:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxty2XhTwVI

Basically it's very simple.

You take a currency that requires 21 days for staking/unstaking, then you deposit this amount in Atomic Wallet, stake it and then you can't gamble with the crypto you're holding.

The locking (staking) is done with one single click of a button, and it's practically speaking, equivalent to activation of self-exclusion on an online gambling site with a click of a button (and yet not all sites offer it unfortunately).

For example, you stake (lock) $200 of your crypto, and that's all crypto available for you - then you can't play/gamble/risk it for at least 21 days ... do it 15 times a year time after time, and you would be excluded for a long time.

The only drawback with this method is Atomic doesn't offer this on USDT so some "gamblers" might not like this idea because they trust stablecoins more than other crypto coins, but this is FYI.

Pushing the button to start the staking is where the problem is at, remember that a heart that's filled with the excitement of gambling is already craving to gamble again, it would be different someone else is going to keep pushing that button, but the gambler will still have to make the decision.

I personally do not buy this idea because it depends on the gambler's mind, if he is serious on quitting gambling he or she will do this easily, but if he is the type that has weak mind he won't be able to lock away his money for long, even if he did it once, after the staking period is over he will surely use the fund to gamble.

Like you said, staking is a big problem if you are not using stable coin, because alternative coins are highly volatile, they can lose value so much that when you unstake your whole bag will be worthless, this is the only bad side of staking alts.
There are gamblers who just thinks that they can commit into stop doing gambling but the next day, they will play again as they can't control themselves. There are days that gamblers are sure that they will stop doing gambling to the point that they withdraw their money from the casino. With this, gamblers can stake their money with no choice but to wait for their money even if they change their mind into playing again. The gamblers will have time to reflect if they are ready to commit into quitting gambling with this way.

Though there are downsides to this, if a gambler is desperate to gamble again, I'm sure that he will deposit with another money just to gamble again. Though I believe that this staking method is a good option that gambler that want to quit.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: PvP Games in Casinos | What's your thoughts? on: January 08, 2024, 09:37:18 AM
But in my opinion, true PvP games test your abilities.  Luck comes into play of course, but ultimately it's about who plays better, not just getting good rolls.  Games like chess come to mind - no randomness, just head to head competition.
Should we split PvP game into 2 categories? Skill based PvP game and Luck based PvP game? In my opinion, PvP is not about testing our abilities or skills but it is about who is our opponent. The terminology PvP is known to be all games which is played by player against player only. Especially when it comes to online gambling, it will be really hard to have PvP which is mostly about skill such as chess because it will only attract chess master only to play the game because they have much bigger chance to make money.

Yep that's true. Pure skill based games like chess would be dominated by chess masters which I'm sure that majority of their games will be a win with the skills they have. It can be abused and there's a chance that people can lose interest in it, people who don't have a chance would most likely avoid it. There maybe a market for chess players but I doubt that it would be an effective gambling game, casinos should have done it if it's a profitable or attractive to the gamblers.

Games that need some luck like poker or a very simple stone paper scissor would be enjoyable and would have a fair competition amongst gambler. I believe that fair competition is one of the characteristic of a successful PvP game.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Achieving a goal on: January 06, 2024, 04:45:08 PM
Hey folks,

Basically, I have around 25$k to invest, and I really want to hit least 200K$ by the end of this year.
Could you please give me some tips and advises?
Also, It is an amount that I honestly don't want to lose since it counts significantly to my capital.
Background story, I have quite the portfolio that would count around 150k$ at current prices, some I sold early and some went greedy and lost.
I did learn a though lesson about patience tho.
Also, psychologically I am done with trading since the lost, I was great at it but one drunk night got me bad lol.
Don't drink and trade folks.

Thanks a lot!

If you are done with trading, try investing it on different coins I guess. Bitcoin would be a good choice but I doubt that the $25k you have will turn into $200k even if bitcoin hit it's all time high this year. Best choice would be to diversify your funds into different altcoin of your choice. Altcoin tends to have great return as long as you are choosing the right altcoin and not the shitty ones. Also, don't try doing gambling if you don't have any experience on it. Even if you are desperate, try to avoid it.

Actually there are a lot of things you can do with the $25k that you have, but the thing that enter my mind first is investing it on bitcoin if you don't really have any target profit.
112  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: January 06, 2024, 04:09:08 PM
Legally, they have got themselves covered and no one can do anything about it.

But morally, this is very long. It is like trapping people. Taking their funds without asking for KYC and later when they want to withdraw , you want to ask for KYC. This is like some form of legal robbery and something must be done about this. You did the right thing by outing the platform here.

What trap is it when you're not been asked for KYC when you begin but discover that you have to do so along the line in other to help you enjoy more of their services, maybe it's high te we also talked about how some gamblers have been always making attempts on how to override the gambling platforms by fake presentations, attacking them or using other people's access to take over their gambling account, knowing well as how hackers have been dealing with casinos these days.
This is why it is important to read their Terms and condition before playing because for sure it is indicated there that KYC will be required at some point. It's hard to find a casino that really don't require KYC and also has a good reputation, most of the casino that has a good reputation requires KYC. Your funds will most likely be trapped on their casino if you ignored their terms and condition given that the support of that casino will basically send you their terms and condition if you asked them why are they collecting KYC when you withdraw your money.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to bet $50 spin for a chance to win $42 million? on: January 06, 2024, 03:29:27 PM
Betting 50$ each spin on a slot is a high roller thing. I don't think I can afford that kind of spin on a slot. Also, I'm not lucky on slots, I haven't won any remarkable amount since then. Maybe on other games like crash, I can achieve that kind of win with that kind of bet. It's just that 50$ is pretty out of my budget. I also don't think that I can achieve that kind of amount on a single gambling session, it require an unbelievable luck and guts to achieve that kind of win. So lucky for the jackpot winner.
114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex withdraw not possible, aammount too low? on: January 06, 2024, 02:08:26 PM
So I have like 50 cents in assets and obviously cant withdraw. And dont want to pay like 20 bucks for their "administration fees"
what to do now?
Bittrex filled for their bankruptcy and I highly doubt that your 50 cents will be withdrawn without paying the fees required.

Just consider it as a donation to bittrex, it is obvious that the fee are more than the amount you are withdrawing. I personally think that it is not worth to fight against bittrex for that kind of amount, it will be a source of stress for you seeking for some empathy here.
115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does inactive users deserve merits? on: January 06, 2024, 01:41:45 PM
There have been some good and quality posts that I've come across why navigating through the forum and I found out that some of the users have been inactive for a very long time but the posts they've made deserved merit, so is it advisable to merit the post(s) of a user(s) that have been inactive for a long interval of time considering the fact that they made Meritable posts?
Well yes, there are some useful post that are being noticed late or became relevant at the current time. Imagine the post of satoshi are still receiving merits up to this date, this proves how useful his/her invention to our current time. This forum is also created without the merit feature, it was later introduced and surely play significant role in this forum. Those who are inactive but made good post surely deserves to be rewarded with merits. Inactive accounts might comeback to this forum with full of merits, it would be a great surprise for them seing their account full of merits because of their past contribution.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 05, 2024, 06:14:34 PM
There is more to life than just bitcoins or acquiring wealth though. Don't get lost in chasing your tail. I said it plenty of times before, it's always best to have some goals set in life, i.e. knowing why exactly you want to acquire more bitcoins, how many are enough, and to what point are you going to hold them.
Collecting sats just for the sake of it sounds a bit silly.
And that's not even to mention all the "don't keep all your eggs in one basket" rule etc.
I agree with you mate. This really depends on our goal in life. But acquiring Bitcoin while living the life we wanted is doable at the same time. I mean wealth is important no doubt about that specially for people like me who wanted to have a financial freedom. I need to focus on that goal without affecting what's normal.
Having tons of bitcoin for me is a good thing but we all should stick to a possible goals. How many bitcoin are enough for us? It will all depends on us and our vision of our future selves. There's no need in buying bitcoin and sacrificing important things for the sake of bitcoin. What is the purpose of having too many bitcoin if we are sacrificing our ultimate goal in life.

At the end of the day, most of us want bitcoin for the possible profit we can make out of it, we will sell those when the time comes.
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: January 05, 2024, 05:33:13 PM
There is another ftx 2.0 sbm
So many investors will lose a lot money from USA and Canada becouse they will trust those who they should't.
I dont tell you the name but its not BINANCE binance is safe.
Im still surprised how the robbery will be happening in the middle of the day like it was with FTX.

then what exchangers can be trusted. if binance, whose transaction volume is the largest in the world, is said to be unsafe. provide along with the reasons why binance is said to be less safe or unsafe, and what are also the reasons why the exchanger that you are

If you read carefully what you just quoted, You will realize that specifically mention that Binance is safe exchange according to him and not the one he is pertaining to this warning thread.

Probably this exchange is not international since Canada and US already restricted foreign crypto exchange like Kucoin, Binance and many more popular crypto exchange. This thread was made last November and there’s no big news like this coming. It’s very odd too the timing of this bad new if really happened because Bitcoin is pumping hard which means exchange business is booming.
A centralized exchange is still a centralized exchange, there are things that are happening on the back end of the exchange just like what the FTX did back then, the bad things will show up when someone expose it. What happened on FTX can happen on current leading exchange just like binance. Binance is just amazing how they handle their recent issue but I'm sure there will be another issues coming to them sooner or later as there are people who will try to bring them down.

Another thing is the legality of exchange, depending on where you live, the view and experience on the exchange may differ.

At the end of the day, the safeness of an exchange depends on you and your experience, we never know when will be the time they will collapse. Use centralize exchange with care, also decentralize exchange.
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 05, 2024, 04:58:48 PM
Sorry but I'm just so skeptical on streamers who are winning an unbelievable win because our country is full of streamers that are fraud on their casino streams, just for the sake of promoting.

Does it really matters though? I mean come on, we all know that we lose or win nothing just by watching couple of streamers playing around then win something huge. Obviously there are some streamers that is in partnership deal with Rollbit so they probably receive money to gamble on site but to accuse a site to give them better odds to win huge is a pretty delusional accusation
I'm not particular on rollbit but there are casinos who are making streamers use other websites to increase the streamers chance of winning. A streamer having a big win can boost the chance of viewers play in the casino they are promoting, it is a fact that's why casinos are partnering with streamers to gain new gamblers in their casino. The one I hate are the casinos who make doing shady moves like making the streamer use a copy of their casino with a higher percent of winning. It's like cheating on the viewers showing them that they can also win it easily just like the streamers.

This kind of tactic is prevalent on our local casinos that's why I hate it.

It's an honest mistake in mentioning rollbit on my recent post. I understand that it can make a confusion that I'm doing an allegation against this casino. I don't have that kind of intention. I'm sorry for that.
119  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Complete list of Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations on: January 05, 2024, 04:33:18 PM
I commend the effort. I'm quite surprise that I'm playing on a casino that has a standing scam accusation. Though I haven't experienced any issues with them. There are also reputable casino (I believe) that also has a standing scam accusation here, I didn't see that coming.

1xbit accusation count are pretty low but I'm sure that there are so many out there, most of it are on their ANN thread.

Though there is some accusation that are falsely claimed or invalid on the eyes of viewers like this one.

Stake   2/21/2023   $165,000.00   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5440739.0

The accuser is the one who is at fault because the accuser is hacked because of a phishing link.

Edit: it's 1xbit.

God damn!!

This is worth sharing, can't blame sportsbet that they made a thread out of this. It's just like the winner won on a lottery with this kind of amazing amount. I wonder what kind of reaction did the winner has after hitting a jackpot like this. If I were in the situation, I would probably be frozen for a minute and will just realize I won this kind of amazing amount. It will be a really happy new year for the winner.

The gamblers is a high roller obviously because this is a slot, but the win he got surely will amaze him. It's like summoning all your luck on this kind of win LOL.
