1001  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: March 09, 2020, 12:30:40 AM
I believe the high volatility of the coin is what is standing as hindrance to the acceptance
I admit that was the sad reality but I hope let's still trust the process. The volatility is normal because there are only few number of people who use crypto (bitcoin to be more specific) but if this will become the new standard as a means of transaction I believe the volatility will greatly decrease and the price will stabilize. So don't stop adopting and spread the news harder, each and everyone must hear the news and hope they'll respond upo it positively Smiley.

Israel Adesanya vs S Yoel Romero (And still)- What a boring fight! I don't know what's Yoel's mind with his sloppy performance he's just trolling. I know all the fans are disappointed with this fight!

WeiliZhang vs JoannaJedrzejczyk (And still)- This fight is must to watch and also this match should be the "main event" of the evening.
Yeah! I agree with you. The Adesanya vs Romero fight is not as explosive as what I expected Roll Eyes. Actually I still remember one of the comments on a group I joined in FB discussing stuff about MMA, he said that it was the most boring title fight he watched. He fell asleep while watching 2x lmao.

On the other hand, it's so amazing that everything is opposite. Zhang and Joanna  brawl until their last breath like two alphas. Look at their faces after the fight, d*mn you can absolutely see the brutality happened especially on Joanna's swollen head Shocked.

Try to create a thread in the Services Section of this forum (here is the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0). Though it's unusual to see such kind of service there, but it falls under it so it's fine Cheesy. But if you think this forum is still not enough to endorse your service then much better to use the one with larger auidence like FB (I doubt you don't have one). For sure it would be more effective since you can spread the news not only to bitcoiner like us but also to those simple individual while in return you are also promoting the ise of bitcoin. What a win-win situation, isn't it Smiley?
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 08, 2020, 06:49:16 AM
The Claw and PG's leadership is something that not intimidating their teammates but instead they are providing good plays.
Indeed, they're not taking all the spotlight. Even they are already well known NBA superstars, they still know how to give way in their teammates. They are helping them to shine by giving assists to them or more time of playing. Like on the case of Williams, he is in when Kawhi is out (assuming that they control the game) thus having more time to showcase his talent especially in three point shooting Smiley.

Honestly, Clippers vs Bucks in the Finals is interesting as well. This is the battle of "rynamic duos", if Kawhi/PG got Williams then Giannis got Middleton Grin.
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 08, 2020, 02:53:58 AM
I have not seen the kind of LeBron for quite some time that played like he did against the Bucks. He was aggressive and was trying to send a message to Giannis. Yeah LeBron shut him down in some point of the game in the low post. The Lakers did a good job defensively, and somehow exposed the Bucks by giving the ball to whoever Giannis guards.
I love to see this match up in the Finals. While, another good game again to watch between the Lakers and Clippers this sunday.
Lakers won but in all fairness it wasn't a flawless victory, they for sure find a hard time defeating the Bucks Cheesy ~ It was only a 10 point deficit. If ever these two teams will face on the Finals for sure it will be explosive Shocked. I believe that losing is not the fate of Bucks, I know that they have the right harmony to beat Lakers (if Lakers will make it through the end, there are so many contenders on the West tho).

Lakers to be in the finals is possible but I see another beast in the West, it's the clippers.

The flow will be most likely (Clippers beat Lakers in the west and then Clippers beat the bucks in the NBA finals).
That would be another disappointment from Giannis but his killer which is The Klaw and Leonard will again win a championship in his new team.

That is really a possible thing to happen, we all know how deadly Kawhi is during crucial situations. What I always notice is that he is just working in silence and shock all of us when the Finals comes. Actually, the moment I watched how Clippers work as a team and beat Lakers, that's the time I'm already convinced that they can make it through the finals. Men! For me they are also a solid team (maybe just underrated) Cheesy. Kawhi, PG, Williams plus hustle of Beverly.

1007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a safe haven for corona virus economic impact? on: March 07, 2020, 06:50:38 AM
Yes! Bitcoin is ahmm let's say a better option for making transactions especially that there is a virus outbreak but the question is until when? Until the corona virus exists? If that's the case then it won't have a significant move through our mass adoption because everyone will get out soon. For me this dream of ours do not depend on whatever scenario we are facing, it depends on the willingness of each and everyone. If all of us really like the concept of cashless society then all of us will make ways despite of any hindrances Smiley.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 07, 2020, 03:39:21 AM
Did you see that guys?  Shocked

Khabib vs Ferguson presentation (for UFC 249)

https://twitter.com/ufc/status/1236074478385364992

WTF!?
Oh yes baby! And I super like it! At first Khabib was cool but when El Cucuy place his belt in the ground, make some fighting stance and talk sh*t he lose his chill. Honestly, I didn't expect what Khabib did at all Shocked. Their rivalry gets hotter and I think hotter than McGrogor vs Khabib fight. For sure there will be more drama in this, what I just hope is "jumping off the fence" won't happen again Sad.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 06, 2020, 01:02:53 PM
I ask this because of the corona virus where people are too scared to hold money.

Psh, how silly are they to get afraid of using money while they are still touching keyboards, cellphones, doorknobs etc Roll Eyes. Anyway, I understand them tho but I guess it's okay to go this way. At least it will favor on the side of cryptocurrency. If this is the only way we can achieve massive adoption then why not.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 05, 2020, 11:58:53 PM
Honestly, the trade is overrated. I'm not really expecting that Erram is the game changer although I like TNT to at least take the chip this conference. SMB isn't only the challenge they will face even with or without Junemar on board. Brgy. Ginebra is still intact,
They are not anymore, Gregzilla left them,
The reason I say Ginebra is still intact because they still performed well with or without Slaughter.
Indeed. For me Ginebra is stronger without Greg. (How do i say it hmm) He weakens his team because the game seems like a 4 vs 5 situation every time he is in. He is slow which is understandable because of being massive so we are expecting that he will at least be an effecrive defender and rebounder in the paint, but the sad reality is, he wasn't. Actually, I'm more amazed with Thompson's ability to sneak rebounds Grin.

The bottomline, what I'm trying to say is that Ginebra remains its strong force without Greg ~ change my mind.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 05, 2020, 01:47:05 PM
Though, we can't blame other manager who only accept "any" or "shady" projects in return of money. But their reputation is at risk if the projects turns to be scam or useless. I do hope, they should be wise selecting the right project.
Their job basically done once the reward already get distributed regardless of what happen on that project after that. It's not their job to actually being accused to promote the scam projects if they already paid the participant. It's your risk as a bounty participant to make a research after getting paid from bounty.
Yeah, I get your point but there are instances when a particular coin/service found out to be scam while their campaign is ongoing. So now who's to blame for such kind of scenario? If I will be asked, it's 70% for the founder of the given coin or service and 30% accounts for the manager. Whatever we say, the manager is related into the whole modus so he's not exempted at all. But if we make considerations then he might be forgiven IMO (unless he is aware of this from the very start) and avoid getting red trust Cheesy.
1012  Economy / Economics / Re: My economy Predicrions are true!! Gold is trash on: March 05, 2020, 09:55:23 AM
As I predicted 2019 that Gold will fall down Yes! ;
Just to make clear, your prediction is for year 2019? Hello it's 2020 now Roll Eyes.
According to my economy analyze Gold is trash!!
Gold will fall like heavy rock!!

Gold is trash!!  Rubbish!!
Take it easy dude, what Godl did to you to hate it so much Grin? Honestly, I feel sad a little bit that the price of gold declined recently. I mean, I'm a pro bitcoin from the very start but it doesn't mean I totally hate gold. Don't over estimate this traditional asset, after all it is one of the most valued metal on our planet plus it has a high demand so I don't believe it won't bounce back Cheesy.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 05, 2020, 08:26:31 AM
Stephen Curry injury update: Warriors star will make his return Thursday against the Raptors

What do you guys think? will it gives the warriors a chance to be in the playoffs, or its already late?
Curry would certainly give more excitement to us and hopefully as he comes back, we can still see him playing his old self.
No way, for sure they now know the truth and concede defeat. Well, that's okay, my respect is unto them because they already prove us that they are a championship caliber type of team. It just so happened that the Splash Brothers both got injured Grin. The least they can do for now is to train harder, make up with the mistakes they've done and make adjustments on team plays even without their superstars.

Anyway, that's good news that Curry will finally come back. However, he should be more careful because we all knew how vital he is in GSW. Besides, it's too late now so better for him to just chill and don't push himself playing too much Smiley. I will look forward to them next conference.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: March 05, 2020, 03:35:38 AM
if someone is always lucky upon playing gambling then gambling industry will all be ruined, gambling business will shutdown.
I agree. If getting the luck you wanted can be learned then gambling sites, casinos and lotteries will not exist for sure Smiley. Some of you might say that lucky charms, rituals or any superstitious beliefs work but for me they just ways of making you positive nothing more nothing less. That's why I always silently laugh every time I go to one of the Chinese town here and hear those Feng Shui "experts". They tell people to wear this and they will be from sickness, Year of the Rat this year so do this to be lucky blah blah blah. Shockingly some still believe and buy their accessories without noticing that the one who became lucky here is not them but the seller himself since his business is doing well Grin. I feel pity for them.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 05, 2020, 01:31:01 AM
I cant believe the country of Malawi are allowing 5 years old kid as legal age to play in casino.

That age should be studying at school or playing with friends. Its not an acceptable age to expose a kid in gambling.

Well its their law and discretion anyway so I think they know better whats the effect of this to their people.
No way! Really?! Mate when I was on that age, what I knew is just play, eat, sleep then repeat Grin. Hmm, don't tell me kids on Malawi got more mature minds among the rest of kids in the world that's why they can gamble Roll Eyes? I don't think so.

Kidding aside, the only reason I think of why their government allow minors to play despite of very young age is poverty. I mean, Malawi is a country in the Africa and we all know that the kind of living there is hard. Providing consistent education for the young is a challenge that's why they find gambling as gateway to have purpose ~ to earn money even a little bit just to sustain their daily lives.
1016  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I was asked to use a hand sanitiser this morning. on: March 04, 2020, 02:49:55 PM
Mate, get used to it already because that is just the beginning actually. Don't be alarmed, I'm sure that Corona virus cases in the Europe region is not yet as as bad as the SEA. Here in our country, even we only got few cases of infected people, safety measures are still exercised. In ports, airports and even in the hotel I checked in few weeks ago, we are required to get scan by body temp. analyzer and ask us whether we have recent travel history outside the country. Most of establishments also have a hand sanitizer dispenser and most of the people you will encounter along the street wear face mask. It is my first time to experience such kind of scenario, everyone around you is cautious which is a little bit disturbing but well I can't blame them because the stigma was in there already.

Honestly, I have a dry cough at this moment but nothing to worry about Grin. It was due to lack of sleep and change of weather during my review for board exam lol. My immune system fall down but I'm now working on it since our exam was already finished.
1017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supreme Court of India finally uplifts the ban on Cryptocurrencies in India on: March 04, 2020, 10:14:21 AM
Hooray! What a great news for your country but mostly to crypto enthusiasts out there Smiley. Though I'm not an Indian and this news doesn't affect me at all, I'm glad because this news only manifests that crypto world won again. This is not only the fight of India but the fight of all of us! We now take another step for attaining our dream of crypto revolution (or at least massive adoption Cheesy). I expect that ICOs will sprout prior to this news.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: March 04, 2020, 07:57:40 AM
If I'm on his position, I won't take the offer. I hate "too risky" situations like this. Yeah! I gamble but at least it's my savings so if I lose it then it's easier to accept because you knew that you have debts to nobody Grin.
take the chance but Gamble in Business not in literal gambling, since both are same taking chances right?maybe Invest in Crypto the half and the other 50% is for real business either online or offline?
Of course everything in this world can be compared to gambling but if we will just think directly establishing a business is not a form of gambling at all. Actually you uttered the right word already (I bold it), yup! The much appropriate word is INVESTING. Nevertheless, I agree with your advice Smiley. But if OP can't really controll his desire of gambling then I think much better if he will do it guilt-free Grin — no debts, no sorrows.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: March 04, 2020, 04:23:22 AM
D*mn! A big NO NO Grin! That's the biggest mistake you could ever do. You are now like digging your own grave, that's how risky it is. But well, all of us got own decisions and own reasons for doing things in life. If you realy feel that you got this then go but make sure you are aware of the possible consequences huh.

If I'm on his position, I won't take the offer. I hate "too risky" situations like this. Yeah! I gamble but at least it's my savings so if I lose it then it's easier to accept because you knew that you have debts to nobody Grin.
1020  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is it some newbies looks like have enough knowledge? on: March 03, 2020, 11:46:05 PM
LIKE THIS ONE this user seems he have already a knowledge in crypto even if he has newbie
That's already what you've got mate? Then meet nullius. Believe it or not, he started from newbie Grin. Just forget about his trust rating, look on the number of merits he had, it was overflowing Shocked.
so probably they learn crypto before he created an account on bitcointalk? But where he learn about crypto i thought bitcointalk is the main source of knowledge about crypto?
Yeah this is the best archival for crypto knowledge but mate this doesn't mean this is the sole source in the planet Grin. Of course most of them learned from books and their mentors or from their own experiences.
Or just maybe he created an other account.
Possible but we can't easily accused a particular Newbie that he is an alt just because he has a Legendary knowledge. You should present concrete evidence first. That's how things work here.
