1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync transaction checker for those doing retroactive airdrop on: October 01, 2023, 08:34:16 PM
It appears that market targeting conditions may be related to the delayed release of airdrops do economic variables influence the timing of product launches like this if they are targeting the market when circumstances are favourable?
In my opinion yes it is. If the market is alive and green people will do more buy and sell and seeing those new project launch is potential for profiting and these developers knows that. They just want a good entrance I supposed.

does this suggest that there are market obstacles making a successful launch tough to achieve?
If they launch, the project is good and will still do result but as a prime project they just wanted more audience with a positive market conditions too. You dont wanna launch with the timing investors arent gonna even take a look on that due to lack of buying power. Purely my opinion, could be wrong too.
1002  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Trading Strategies You Could Be Ignoring on: October 01, 2023, 06:58:41 PM
My favorite here is doing DCA and swing trader for medium term price movement. Yes I am not a daily trader but more like a swing trader for some altcoins as I am frustrated using future trading with heavy loss before. I realized doing some spot trading and keep buying low and selling on a peak time will give me profits and more sensitive case for having such loss and risky way. Well dca on the other hand give me confident to buy at an average rate without losing a chance to buy at super lows and lows altcoins.
1003  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just a quick one, about KYC. on: October 01, 2023, 06:31:42 PM
what is the risk of purchasing Bitcoin on such an exchange?
The risk might possibly if the exchange freeze your bought bitcoin due to suspicious, example you bought a tons of bitcoin on an exchange and you plan to hold it on your wallet for a long time then there might be a chance for them to review if your account is legit or something shady is going on since you bought a huge chunk. Well for that matters its quite scary if you are the one being held.
1004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HODL is purely a mental challenge on: October 01, 2023, 05:44:51 PM
Being a holder is a talent where you could literally say thay you are a brave person. Some people might fall into such panic when everything tremble in fear but honestly how could you resist those heartbreaking paper loss? Its quite hard right, since its literally something you could not just handle easily. OP is right on the part that to avoid those panic selling is to put up your bitcoin to some wallet that arent prone to direct liquidity like an exchange or wallet app where it can be converted right away since its a temptation we are prone to make.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin millionaire: Lucky or possesses more qualities that we don't have. on: October 01, 2023, 05:23:25 PM
Long term perspective: They don't just buy, they look at it on the long run, they know when to take risk but at the same time they don't buy and sell with emotions.
This is my favorite. If you are a long term enthusiast then its worthy if you could see the potential of what you are buying. Some are just keep steady holdimg and looking on the bright future of what they have. Yes its literally hard to see when it will bloom but when it become fruitful then youll definitely gotta see it grow in the long run. Remember bitcoin when it was literally a cent and suddenly become have a good value.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync transaction checker for those doing retroactive airdrop on: October 01, 2023, 01:07:55 PM
I’m wondering if there’s still a plan for launching their own native token because it’s taking a lot of time since most of the blockchain that developed same time with them already launched their own airdrop. Are you still bridging on this L2 project?
Yes they have hinted before about their airdrop and potential launched. Im not sure why it took them so long to release maybe because the market is still not good and they are aiming it when the bull is there. Lots of airdrop tokens arent that much have raised their price so if you think about it. So they are not gonna tried to have a lousy launch.
1007  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this safe for my crypto wallet? on: October 01, 2023, 12:52:29 PM
I have ignored this access most times, and the crypto wallet, metamask functioned perfectly, I am also able to make some transactions too, but every damn time I open the wallet this same image pops up. Any solution?
I think seeing the prompt means it wanted you to be safe since therr is a warning from it. Why not revoke access everytime you arent using that or clear cache and clear file so you wont be exposed on the danger of potential data breached.
1008  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin started in 2009 on: September 30, 2023, 08:22:21 AM
If someone bought Bitcoin in 2009, is that buyer rich now?
Definitely yes. Many users have become rich since they bought bitcoin ar a very early price. I think cents only or couple of dollars. Imagine buying 10k units of bitcoin at that price and sold it during the bull run with price of $64k, a lot of money and those people arent gonna get poor never again. I knew some people who did and they are literally swimming on money and have a lot of investments and properties.

1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bubble bot secures 97.25ETH in private presale on: September 30, 2023, 07:25:19 AM
Well they really did a bad launch huh. This is a degen project only those who buy out early are the one that probably profiting and left the project already. Most shitcoins only pump once and never recover unless they really have a good marketing and promotions otherwise its considered dead.

With a very low liquidity hence this will not help community since most users will be scared if theres a chance to pumped back.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is possible to clone Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2023, 04:57:54 PM
The real deal to the OP's topic is that Bitcoin can not be cloned, imitated.
Yes imitated is the right term. Most fo these forked coins are cant compared still to bitcoin. I think in terms of comparison if ever there is coin to be match with it Id say that ethereum will be the closest competition with an upgraded use case than being a store of value.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is possible to clone Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2023, 03:01:14 PM
You can not clone bitcoin because there is nothing there to copy, bitcoin are result of caculation on the blockchain data, to clone bitcoin you have to alter the blockchain data, and blockchain is designed in such a way that since data is stored and secured they can not be altered this is common misconception.
It cant be clone but it can be forked or created something almost the same with bitcoin. Many users or developers have tried to recreate bitcoin with a different name but has the same purpose but since bitcoin is the first its literally hard to clone.

Whale spotted congrats mate. 10% score means a lot of activity on your evm wallet.

Btw does this means that the tokens will be on their own chain right?

@Libert19 yeah I know that its on keplr if you read my case, Id use the generate wallet from celestia page website that didnt have seedphrase activation. So probably I donated my tia tokens to a burn address.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Importing seedphrase to Coinbase wallet on: September 28, 2023, 02:52:14 PM
That should be possible yes. If you try it on MetaMask or Electrum, it will work with no issues. The private keys are derived from your seedphrase, so there should be no need to communicate with any server.
Now, I understand that they might need an internet connection to fetch the prices and get the list of coins, etc. but I think that's bad UX. It's not what one would expect from a non-custodial wallet. They should allow users to import their wallets, and then just ask them to connect to the internet to get the rest of the functionalities.
Oh thanks. I really thought that even any non custodial dapps or apps needed internet to import seed phrase. But since you already mentioned it, maybe I'll try sometimes. Im not aware of this cause I thought internet is a must with processes like this. Whats other non custodial that works like that without even need net to work?
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Celestia airdrop live on: September 28, 2023, 12:41:29 PM
Did you have Keplr/Leap wallet already installed when you were claiming the drop? You can try claiming again and it will show you address where your airdrop will go to, then compare that address with your Celestia address in Keplr/Leap.
The problem here is I didnt create wallet, so when clicking the import address, which has a displayed one on the bar thats the one got saved. So Im finding ways how to revert that or at least change it. There is no supported testnet of celestia on keplr maybe on leap wallet only. Hays I think ive sent the tokens to the address not even generated or created. This is a bad move Id try to ask on their discord.
1015  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why China Recognize Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2023, 11:24:43 AM
China is a socialist country. I don't quite understand the recognition of Bitcoin.
Indeed, we should engage in an extended thought process to understand why China has chosen to recognize it.
First maybe the article is just a shill type but not confirmed? We knew that China hates bitcoin and even Ban them few many times now. If somehow they did recognize it then there must be something useful for them or maybe a manipulative act to gain from it. China is a smart country and will do everything to gain much power and this could be another scheme. Who knows why such a situation occured and if its involved Chun then there is definitely something here.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Importing seedphrase to Coinbase wallet on: September 28, 2023, 09:02:53 AM
I found the problem. Apparently, you need to be connected to the internet (strange for a wallet that claims to be non-custodial) in order to import the seedphrase.
Hello, does non custodial wallet works without internet fine? Cause Ive never tried to import a seedphrase to another app or wallet without internet. Cause I really think it needed to be connected in order to use the importation process. Or does this work on other coins? Cause we are using an app which almost all the times work with internet and rarely to function without it.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Celestia airdrop live on: September 28, 2023, 03:43:04 AM
Hello guys any airdrop receiver of this celestia? Ive got a problem and not sure if Im gonna recovered it or does anyone experience the same.

I am able to see my eligibility for this drop with my ethereum roll up address. When I clicked claimed and connected my metamask, it prompt to create an address of celestia testnet, however upon clicking the terms and services, I click the generate address with the address display on the tab accidentally. So then I realized that I didnt create a celestia wallet, now given the process which I already submitted, is there a possible way to change it? Or did I just donate free airdrop tokens to a random address?
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celestia Airdrop on: September 28, 2023, 03:04:24 AM
There's already a thread that was made on the Speculation Altcoins yesterday about this airdrop of Celestia. I think it's better if the discussion continues there.
Thread link: (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5468177.0)
Ops my bad didnt noticed it will locked the thread and post on that link. Thanks for reminding.
1019  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies identify with your local board on: September 28, 2023, 03:03:27 AM
During my time as newbie Im not ecen aware of the local boards and thought of forum as a sophisticated english place for discussion. But later on found out about this local boards and it helps me more to learn since I could interact with our native language and I could supply ideas easily without having hardship to explain and discuss it. Not all are proficient in english and one way to fast learning is through your own language.

This is good reminder that every newbir should or at least visit their locals so to see more clear explanation if they are having hard time with the international boards.
1020  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: September 27, 2023, 05:00:51 PM
Id say I believe it as a guide or an acess of potential market overflow but it is not an accurate method to accomplish guaranteed risk free trading cause even though weve seen indicators we often see some output on the otherside of the technical charts. I am more on bullish on news or general output of the community. The chart plot can lie to us in every bit we dont see it working. Does any trader with perfect knowledge on trading escape a loss? I doubt there are rare or maybe close to none.
