Good job to people who oversold the NXY token! Really easy to buy many tokens and get free airdrops passively!
1002  Other / Meta / Re: Community generated suggestions to improve the forum (+ eventual voting on them) on: December 20, 2018, 06:16:00 PM
Another thing needed by the forums is a 2FA on the login.
If it's set to "remember me" then it shouldn't ask for the 2FA, but for every new device this is an important security measure to have as a choice.

I wish all exchanges were charging more realistic fees like you do!

But what do you mean by "grace period"?
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 (Windows/Linux) on: December 20, 2018, 10:51:22 AM
I`ve got a problem with one of 1080Ti. Rig has 4 of them but only one has a problem. Here the log (I`ve replace wallet address with x):

I try to use -eres 0, -lidag 3 and nothing helps. After reboot GPU seems to be ok but after start mining GPU is going down and always receive this error
Quote
CUDART error in CudaProgram.cu:205 : unknown error (30)
Claymore also crashes. In afterburner also disappears stat info. I`ve also trying to install latest nVidia Drivers and Phoenix Miner but it also doesn`t helped.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Just use Ethminer (https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases), I've tried 0.17.0 rc2 and I'm very happy with it, try it yourself.
No point in using Claymore's miner which hasn't been updated since July.

Through your signature campaign rewards, I was able to try this "trade mining" and your airdrops. I have to say I'm positively surprised!
I'm exchanging my BTC rewards from your signature campaign to NXY, taking bonus NXY through "trade mining" and on top of that free ETH every day! That's a nice way to receive passive ETH until it finally goes PoS.

My only complain: I find your withdraw fees a bit high. Sure they don't sound expensive when you think of the today's exchange prices to fiat, but the mining fees have also dropped significantly from when you last updated your fees. Maybe you should look at those again, personally it was enough of a reason to keep me away from using your exchange in the past and it's unfair for you since you have such a good system built.

Do i only have to hold NXY tokens to get free ETH daily ?
Or what requires this o0 Is not announced on the page or i cant find it XD

regards

Yes just hold NXY, but you need to hold enough in order to receive at least 0.0001 ETH per day.

Hashrate is increasing.

Also the weather in Australia seems to be getting better: https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2018/dec/19/christmas-day-weather-forecast-to-be-warm-and-dry-across-most-of-australia
Everything is clear, it's rally time guys! Hope in!

Disclaimer: This is not an investing advice

I tried with ETH Enlargment pill with Phoenix miner - it doesn't work. On x16r it doesn't work as well. But it works perfectly with Claymore miner while Ether mining.

And I'm using Ethminer (0.17 rc2) because I don't want to support Claymore, I didn't like his attitude in some of his posts and he has given up on new updates, at least for public usage.
Ethminer hashes at 57 MH/s, that's the pool's side average.

You guys really need to increase the usability of NXY and also advertise it better. You are well positioned among your competition but you need to work more on your marketing... however I have nothing to suggest! x)

• A new member rank after Legendary as it is becoming far too common now and will only become more so as time passes. I would suggest fixing Legendary at 960 activity and the new rank is double that at 1920. You could also make the merit requirement very high for this rank so it's only for the crème de la crème of users [OMG NAZI RANK ITS LIKE THE RICH KEEP GETTING RICHER].

Add a new rank above Legendary, eg "Deity".   Smiley

"Deities" could receive some special features. Don't know what exactly but they should get something for sure.

In my opinion this will motivate Legendaries to be more contributing to the forum.

lol good one! But I don't think it'll be good for the forums.
I think Legendary members are already contributing enough. It's the people who spam the forums, often without even knowing English, who we need to fix.

Right now Legendary members are meriting each other because they know each other in this forum for years, so no matter how many ranks are added on top of the Legendary one will be reached without any extra effort or quality increase. It's more important to motivate and reward the average-to-good members who are hardly receiving any Merit at this point (like me?...  Roll Eyes)
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 19, 2018, 09:17:32 AM
It's alright because it will again rise.
ETH is not entering the $100 level and $50 seems unlikely at this moment, the market is actually pumping now, I don't know what's the reason
but I hope it's another correction as experts said, crypto is oversold, and therefore we are going to see a massive uptrend from now.

There is not basis on this statement, cryptocurrencies were oversold since August.
There was so little investment in cryptocurrencies in 2017 and when the ones who control the economy started buying Bitcoin the prices of Ethereum and altcoins skyrocketed as well. Then futures became a thing and the manipulation started.

In a market where 90% of the movements are manipulated through whales, classic technical analysis and terms like "overbought" and "oversold" are not helpful indicators at all.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK Core v2 Live 🔹 on: December 19, 2018, 08:51:41 AM
I understand the price drop compared to fiat. I do not understand the drops compared to BTC or ETH even. And these price drops can be seen after the implementation of v2, after November 5th. Could the word "fork" be blamed? Maybe after non-ARK people realized that fork does not mean some random free coins, they sold ARKs cause they just don't know/care about the v2?

Who cares about them, the important thing for the knowledgeable is that we will get free coins from projects that will use ARK.
Let's just hope that development teams won't be held back because of the bear market and create awesome things in the ARK ecosystem!

Why we will get free coins from projects that will use Ark? Isn't true, if they want to do it ok but don't expect free coins just because someone is building a chain based on Ark

So far we had an airdrop from PHANTOM project which however is yet to enter any exchange, so it's not worth anything yet.
It was also a very common practice with Ethereum based tokens during the time when there were 10 new coins every day.

I'm not saying EVERY project built on ARK will airdrop coins to ARK holders, but at least some will do.

Me: "Napster was going to revolutionize music industry with its anarchistic approach, Spotify
went to change old ways of music industry to work more in sync with modern times."

My younger friends: "Napster who?"

What's napster really? Roll Eyes (nvm I googl'd it)

And by the way, XRP isn't any more centralised than Bitcoin is, the recent price manipulation should have proved to people Bitcoin isn't as free of corruption as we had initially though.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 18, 2018, 05:45:58 PM
Ripll cost 30 cents a year ago and now costs the same .. do you think he will be able to repeat his takeoff last year or not?

I have heard that Ripple is going to become cooler than Bitcoin and even replace it. I doubt very much that XPR can do it. Not so many people trust centralized currency. I am trying to stay away from it.

Some things require at least some "centralisation" in order to function. For example, would you trust a car which was made by the decisions of 100 people who were voting for every decision on the manufacturing process, many of whom teenagers with little experience? Or would you rather buy a car made from an experienced company?
1014  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Nexybit.com- Bitcoin Futures Exchange site. 1x~50x leverage, rich volume on: December 18, 2018, 05:38:16 PM
I don't know if it's a bug or if I'm missing something, but my "Average NXY" in the "Mining and Airdrop" tab is showing always less than my actual NXY.
Right now I'm holding 995 NXY but the daily "average" shows 424 NXY.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 18, 2018, 02:57:43 PM
The main thing now is not to listen to anybody but to really think, the main thing is ETH crossed the $ 100 border, then it will be easier.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5086308.msg48731175#msg48731175
The guy will be assured that in the next couple of weeks the price will drop to $ 40 this may be an attempt to manipulate the course, but how not to listen to him )))

100$ or 1000$ or 666$ or whatever price, everything is just a psychological barrier which will shoot the price up or down in the SHORT term; it's not the prices that are driving the price (ye it even sounds stupid), it's the fundamentals that drive it long-term and those are looking good!

I don't even know where to start... Shocked You have me impressed!
Please read again the whole discussion which you quoted and if your understanding of the English language is not good enough, do yourself a favour and don't reply with ignorance.

Then again... you post like that... (I had to reduce the font size)

On the other hand Ethereum overtake BCH in price and this is the green sign of bull run.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-beats-bitcoin-cashs-price-for-first-time-ever-as-crypto-markets-see-growth

I read that and I was like "WHAT?! When did ShitcoinCash got ahaid of Ethereum?" But then I read the article and it was talking about the price per coin, not the market cap.... Are those guys for real? Who is writing this trash?

I just hope that this little price hike won't shoot the gas fee on the sky again.
1018  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone here that experience a long bear market besides this one? on: December 18, 2018, 12:10:47 PM
Did you know when the bear market ended?

You only know for sure when there's a new all-time-high, but then it's probably too late to get in!
I'm not expecting any more 100x price hikes from bottom to top, so neither incredible runs after the ATH is broken.

Personally, I was always a fun of catching a falling knife! Grin Only last time Nvidia's stock cut my fingers Roll Eyes

My advice which will get you through the bear market no mater how long it'll be, is to think the following fact,

1 BTC will ALWAYS be 1 BTC

If you're not trying to trade BTC with leverage, then you have nothing to fear. I hope people haven't bought at 20k and holded throughout the whole fall, but even in that case just average it down with a little more buying.
Just think how happy you'd be back in January if with 1000€ you were able to buy 0.331 BTC! Back then you'd have to pay 5527.70€ to buy the same amount of Bitcoins.
With this mindset the bear market won't scare you.
