Garda officers said they were hopeful advances in technology would one day enable them to access the bitcoin so it could be sold.
Lol. Apart from that not happening, Bitcoin would be worthless if "technology" can recover lost funds.

I wouldn't be surprised if the drug dealer can access his funds when he's in a country without extradition.

What TECSHARE is proposing in the OP is quite different from his own trust list. And he's not in your thread for obvious reasons so no viable comparison can be made.
See the full list: http://loyce.club/trust/selfscratchers/
(Note: this is older data)
1003  Other / Meta / Re: [CLUB] The SpamBusters! Busting rule-breakers for more than a year. on: February 20, 2020, 03:45:22 PM
@LoyceV, I'm thinking if can you actually put on the top of the profile page the post count of recorded posts? So to be able to to compare the current post count with the recorded one, now you have to scroll all the way down to see the last post. Or maybe just revers the order of the posts, starting from the bottom with 1 and up to the last post.
I'll have to pass on this: I currently add just one line to each for for each new post. This is very easy (although it badly fragments the filesystem).
To add something at the top of the page would mean rewriting the entire file. So you're just going to have to scroll a bit Tongue
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 60 GB folder called "Bitcoin" on: February 19, 2020, 09:10:45 PM
You should create a backup of the file wallet.dat before installing the latest version of Bitcoin Core. Better safe than sorry.
1005  Economy / Lending / Re: Anyone can lend me 0.15 btc on: February 18, 2020, 07:30:24 PM

I thought the rules only apply if you post unsolicited referral links.
That's for PMs: if someone asks for it, sending referral links by PM is okay.
1009  Other / Meta / Re: A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. on: February 13, 2020, 03:32:46 PM
Yesterday, some OP made a thread asking for casino site recommendations with referral codes. In other words, users are allowed to post theirs if any.
"Some OP" can't just change forum rules in his topic. Referral spam isn't allowed, and asking for it is almost a guarantee to get spam.
1010  Economy / Speculation / Re: Scammers move 12k BTC - dump is comming? on: February 11, 2020, 08:44:59 PM
If they're really scammers, they won't just receive $100,000,000 on their bank account without having to answer some very uncomfortable questions.
1011  Economy / Speculation / Re: One satoshi for $1 dollar will occur someday on: February 10, 2020, 03:08:42 PM
Someday? It can be today! Anyone can buy 1 satoshi from me for a dollar!
1012  Economy / Reputation / Re: Greedy & Stupid Campaign manager Little Mouse on: February 09, 2020, 08:50:47 AM
while I agree it was a huge mistake for him to open the thread without confirming funds or an escrow, I don't feel this thread is necessary.

~snip~

Kinda sad how members are so quick to try and ruin others here. Some circumstances call for neg rep and ~ or even flags, but not this one.
Agreed!
Mistakes were made, but no real harm was done.

Let's not pretend we're not all wasting our time here anyway Tongue
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 08, 2020, 05:04:53 PM
I'd like to see this as a graph,  with a rolling starting date, up to today. This should show when was the best time to start investing a dollar per day, but I'd be especially interested to see if there's a starting date that puts you at a loss after 5 years.

LoyceV make this!
1014  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTT BTC on: February 08, 2020, 02:57:12 PM
The exchange in my signature can do Eth > Btc without KYC.

Removed all.  Roll Eyes

I understand you. i need to learn this trust system before using it. Wink
Please read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191802.0 (scroll down for translations), it's my beginners guide for correct use of the Trust system.

Once you're confident, please create a new Trust list. You seem to have the right mind set to learn, which is appreciated.

Oh FFS...

That's a DT2 member despite getting a bunch of red trust for trying to scam 100 BTC here: https://archive.is/QG1AJ
I quickly checked the list, but overlooked this one and was called away before I could check more.

Mindrust has some editing to do.
Sorry, I misread my own date!
1019  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: February 03, 2020, 09:59:06 PM
I'm surprised how much the number of inclusions charges depending on who's randomly selected.

I'll dump some links to users on DT1 tomorrow.
1020  Economy / Services / Re: I pay for bitcoin transaction (txid) from 2019 up to $5 for transaction on: February 02, 2020, 05:24:46 PM
Do you want a txid, or are you really looking for the private key of the sending wallet?
