1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 28, 2023, 05:48:30 AM
@Maslate. I very much agree. Francis Ngannou is also not a very good trashtalker. The fans are shaking their heads on why uncle Dana will not let Ngannou fight in boxing, however, they never considered that it would be difficult for Dana to market Ngannou. He is not similar to Conor who was known everywhere outside of MMA already. Ngannou is not and he does not have the right personality for this. However, do you know who has the right personality? It will be Suga Sean. He will be supported by uncle Dana next to challenge someone in boxing. According to Suga Sean, it will be Tank Davis.
1002  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: August 28, 2023, 04:42:16 AM
News update, however, this is unconfirmed.

According to some people in social media, data on everyone who has used FTX and Blockfi has been leaked from Kroll. I am not quite certain what is Kroll but I assume this is their website.

https://www.kroll.com

FTX and Blockfi might have hired their services for compliance and regulations.

https://www.kroll.com/en/services/compliance-and-regulation

In any case, this is one of the unwelcome occurrences of KYC. It is a collection of customer data waiting to be stolen by hackers.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: August 28, 2023, 03:52:48 AM
@yahoo62278. It was a snake draft order. If you are no.1 in the order like me in our draft last year, I had a good opportunity to draft first, however, I would have to wait from no.2 to no.10 then from no.10 to no.2 before it would be my turn again. It was making me very anxious because much of the players I queued were being drafted by others and I had to wait 18 more turns before my turn hehehehe. I want to be on slot 5-7 this year.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: August 28, 2023, 02:41:45 AM

just to say i'm available at any time...

by the way, what are we doing with the draft order, random at the start of the draft or something else? Last year it was hashes...

https://100yardrush.com/

^ pretty fun way to do it as well...

Haha, tested it out and Jacobs won! Smiley

I think using hashes is the best way to assure a fair order and its worked fine so far.

If it's Sunday the 3rd I could probably not do it after 3-4 PM EST. On Monday, and any day after that really, I'd be able to do it more or less at any time. I won't be home on Sept. 2-3 that's why it's a bit tricky.

OK, Lets see if anyone has an issue making it DRAFT DAY SEPT 3RD @ 3:00PM EST.

Speak up if this does not work for you,

I'll pm everyone to make sure they get notified.

Yes I am okay with this new schedule.

When do we begin the lottery for the draft order? I am very excited about this. I also have learned that being no.1 in the draft order is not very good. It was very boring for me because I wait for more turns before it becomes my turn hehehee.

In any case, gameboy cluster compute has generated my cheatsheet already, only minor adjustments left.

Two huge fighters wanna be thr baddest in the world can only end in a knockout. It will be the biggest upset of the history if we see its Fury lying down the ground.

I will still not be shock if its Fury though. Each of them has the KO punch and now that Ngannou is training with Mike Tyson, we'll see how much can it contribute when its the style of Mike giving Ngannou the edge.

I have already mentioned that Mike Tyson's presence in Francis Ngannou's team is something similar to Steven Seagull's presence in Anderson Silva's training before Anderson's fight vs. another Brazilian. According to Seagull, he was the one who taught Anderson the special front kick move to knockout his opponent. However, this was only done to promote the fight. Anderson did not really need Steven Seagull's teachings hehehehe.

Aikido has nothing to do with kicking but Anderson will always be remembered for how he did it against Belfort. Anderson doesn't need help from Steven, I don't know why Anderson tried training with him when Belfort is no threat to him in any way. But Ngannou against the baddest HW boxer, he certainly needs every bit of strategy.

By how Ngannou will end the fight, it will still be the influence due to the confidence given to the people who trained him whether Mike helped or not, it's still going to give him the confidence.

Mike Tyson might have helped Francis Ngannou similar to how Steven Seagal helped Anderson Silva. To help in hyping the fight and to sell more tickets hehehe. Mike Tyson was an idol to many older fans of boxing. This might be their target market for this fight because younger fans might not be very excited for this. Younger fans like to watch Tank Davis and King Ry more than Tyson Fury, I reckon.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oleksandr Usyk VS Daniel Dubois For The Undisputed heavyweight champion on: August 27, 2023, 01:40:26 AM
I voted for Daniel Dubois after the fight by knockout as a protest against this crime in this very corrupt sport of boxing hehehe. In my own mind, Usyk is presently not the champion anymore. Similar to what I have been telling everyone before, much of these boxing events have become something similar to scamcoin ICOs where the issuer hypes and then dumps his tokens on his own community. This is a scam. Boxing promoters are taking your money by promoting these low quality fights and they have already paid the judges and the referee to make sure they know the winner.

It was manipulated.

@Sithara007 the image is doctored as there is no Police logo which was contained in the Giuliani mug shot posted above.

Yes, this doctored image is being endlessly viewed and commented on, but like everything else surrounding #45, it's deception.

Agreed. Trump's team wants to put their fake mugshot viral first before the real mugshot appears in social media. It is also good for promoting Trump's campaign hehehe. Trump won the media war on this occasion.

@Sithara007. I very much disagree. Kingmakers will do everything to have a good connection with the king. This implies all business favors for Trump and for the government to drop the case against him.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election on: August 26, 2023, 05:06:31 AM
@Sithara007. That was what I have always been telling everyone. The Democrats will make a martyr out of Trump. All of these indictments and charges against him will only give more attention to the name Trump and make him a more popular presidential candidate. If he cannot run for president, he can be a kingmaker and support another candidate. Who are the other candidates in the Republicans field?

Don't be fooled for a second in to thinking this is anything other than the government trying to control you. The government are absolutely fine with trillions of dollars being laundered when it's their buddies in the fiat system who are doing it. But they will use any excuse to crack down on tools and services which prevent them from spying on and controlling their populace.
Yes I know this pretty well but whose job it is to nullified these kind of activity on their part? Still its the Government and how this things could turn? If everybody used decentralized approach isnt it. But when this gonna occur? A massive boycott on Government does it ever happened before? Anyone who tried to defy are being comprehended accordingly. The truth hurts I know. If there is someone could change that without being fearful and got supports(literally do it not by words but action) I be willing to follow him.

Crypto is being destroyed slowly they know its threat thats why this kind things happened. So they are showcasing their powers now until it can be stopped yet. Damn rough world.

Yes, it is their job. We are not questioning this. We are questioning if it was right for the government to imprison people who had no connection to the crimes that are happening through the software that they only created.

Also, how is crypto being destroyed? Is it you reckon because criminals use it? Is the car industy or the cellphone industry being destroyed because criminals use them also? These are neutral tools. The government only wants more control over you. They do not care about you, they only care about money and power and they want more for themselves and less for you. This is the reality. But the cryptospace is giving some of this power back to the people. The government does not want this.

In any case, if you want the government to control the whole cryptospace so that criminals cannot use it then we should demand for more centralization of our favorite projects and demand for more invasive regulations.
1011  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: August 25, 2023, 03:46:06 AM
@Iranus. Is there a real need to sell? This is head shaking. I reckon that before the creditors count how much they will receive, they should also know how much FTX will pay in legal fees for this bankruptcy hehe. According to some articles General Motors' bankruptcy paid, $1 billion in legal fees and Lehman Brothers paid more than $2 billion. There are also other similar cases like this.

It appears that the latest news reports are saying that Trump is willing to surrender and go to jail in Fulton County. However, he will have release agreements and a bond under certain conditions.

This persecution on Trump by the Democrats might have an unintended effect because it also might make Trump a martyr. He is a populist. This type of publicity will certainly make him more wanted by the people.

Also, this will be the body that will put the Predator on a stretcher.

That is wrong picture of body to "put Predator on a stretcher". That is the photo of Fury before his second fight against Wladimir Klitschko, which was cancelled because of lack of motivation from Fury. Lack of motivation caused him to gain and weighed 150kg. Current Fury is more slim, if that word can be used speaking about him, as he is still fat and huge Cheesy https://www.instagram.com/p/CvaEPGlqN_1/ - this is perhaps his latest shape (posted 2w ago). If he would be as fat as on your picture, he would not move so smooth Cheesy

Hehehehe I reckon Tyson Fury might not need much motivation to knockout the Predator Ngannou. This will be the first time a mixed martial arts fighter beat a veteran boxer if Francis Ngannou gets a lucky victory. However, let's please live in reality. Will the best heavyweight boxer be beaten by a mixed martial artist in boxing? This has never occured in all these fights that we have witnessed and this might never occur.

My apologies, however, the type of attitude similar to your reply should never be accepted in the cryptospace. Is wanting more privacy really a crime?
I didnt say its a crime dude. Everyone wanted their privacy remains and anonymity. But the case on mxiers they are being mix with those scammers and taking advantage of that. Im not sure if you are aware how government works. They will literally do anything to fight scams and incident like especially we dont havee specific regulations on something like this.

Using your argument, does the government have the right to indict all of the Monero developers only because they developed a cryptocoin for more anonymity?
Im referring to the scams activity being done on the platform. Monero didnt do any? Why would they do that.

However, how can you have an attitude that you cannot blame the DOJ on this one. Similar to what some people have said already, Tornanado Cash is a neutral tool and very much like all neutral tools, it can be used by bad people. It does not make the people who created them criminals.

Smartphones are used for many crimes by many criminals, does it make the creator of the software and the hardware of the smartphone involved in those crimes? What the DOJ did was really make a bad precendent.

News update.

Jonathan Taylor went from no.1 in my cheatsheet last year to presently only no.30 for our next fantasy draft hehe. It also appears his relationship with his team is not very good, besides his injury. The Colts has give him permission to find a team who is willing to trade.

The Indianapolis Colts have given Taylor until Tuesday to find a suitable trade after authorizing the star running back earlier this week to engage with other teams in search of a trade partner.

Six teams have inquired about Taylor's availability, and two of them have engaged the Colts with offers, a source told ESPN on Wednesday.

Source https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38245999/colts-field-inquiries-trade-offers-jonathan-taylor-source-says

In any case, the draft is scheduled for next Sunday. Has everyone voted on this already? Can we not use the same schedule last year?
1016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: August 24, 2023, 03:55:45 AM
@Nwada001. Similar to what I have said yesterday, everything about dogecoin might begin in X. Elon appears to have a bigger agenda for dogecoin in his ecosystem of businesses.

This speculation will be confirmed if the dogecoin development team agrees to the proposal to switch from proof of work to proof of stake.

X is a dog & Doge friendly place!

1017  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Nvidia's Result bring a positive impact on Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2023, 02:49:17 AM
I believe that events like these might not have a significant impact on the price of Bitcoin. Despite the absence of positive news, Bitcoin has been making notable recovery attempts recently. The current situation indicates a gradual and steady recovery, a pattern we're accustomed to. Traders are transitioning away from panic and re-engaging in investments, capitalizing on the market dip, which is the trend we're observing.

However, according to this article the correlation between bitcoin and US stocks is presently going up from a negative correlation last month. If uncle Jerome's speech is bearish, this might cause a dump on stocks which might also cause a dump on bitcoin and much of the cryptospace. The small pumps we are witnessing presently might be traders taking a position before the speech to get ready to pump more if positive or to dump if it is negative hehehehe.

Bitcoin’s correlation to the S&P 500 is 40% at present, up from a negative correlation in July. The increased correlation comes as interest rate expectations are being reassessed and economic conditions worsen in China.

1018  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tornado cash founders charged with money laundering/sanctions violations on: August 24, 2023, 01:38:08 AM
Yes this is trending as of today in every social media. It says that they knew that a notorius Lazarus group one of the hackers who stole a lot of virtual funds are using their services and yet they didnt do anything to stop or hold it means they allowed a crime.

Im not sure what would others say about using mixers. Yes its for usign crypto for privacy, but we cant deny the fact that aside from this particular reason. Scammers arw gonna use it tp hide their scent or crime by using mixers. Cant blame the DOJ on this one. So other mixers might be in trouble too. In relation tok this big case being done on Tornado.

Even new or small mixers might get in trouble too as for sure scammers are already using those. Does owners of mixers can ban wallets or known scammers address for usage? Maybe this can help to make them free from charges like this and avoid incident like what happened to the Tornado founders.

My apologies, however, the type of attitude similar to your reply should never be accepted in the cryptospace. Is wanting more privacy really a crime?

My only problem with these exchanges is that they will be claiming that completing your KYC will increase the security of your funds in the exchange please how is this possible?

The funny thing about all this is that KYC does not create increased security for the client, but rather creates increased danger. After uploading your documents, you now have many new risks:

- hacking the exchange and leaking your personal data to the darknet
- subsequent use of your personal data in various services for forging documents (in the event that data leaks from the exchange)
- persecution by the government (for example, by the tax service), since exchanges work closely with governments and transfer all data on their clients to them.

Therefore, all these stories about improving security are just beautiful words to make you reveal your identity, and the exchange itself will simplify and facilitate the work of its business so that various regulators do not create problems for them.

Agreed. Also, this invasive practice is also something similar to a tax on the user. The implementation of KYC for some services can be costly and as a business practice, all of these expenses are always passed on to the customers. However, if we are to live in reality, for us small minnows KYC is a burden but for whales who want to withdraw $1 million through bank transfer from an exchange, it is a responsibility.
