1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 20, 2024, 11:17:13 AM
Based on my understanding it is undoubtedly that gambling is haram on their beliefs and we should respect that belief. I am not a Muslim guy but I haven't heard here in our locality wherein they were involved in gambling activities or even online I didn't see one so far. With crypto gambling we really have no idea what religions are involved on there but it is their own decision and risk to do such activities.
I guess that we will see that some or just a little number of them that does it for their own satisfaction. Not judging with any of them but in every religion, there's like the black sheeps that are in that form.

It's a small herd and that's why the respect must be there for the majority because in every religion, the number are just few to those that are not dedicated in following their laws.

Gambling is haram, but people still gamble because they don't see it as haram.
I am confused, they knew it that it is haram but they gamble because they don't see it as a haram. I think these are the people that I am talking about as the blacksheeps.
1002  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buyin btc on: January 20, 2024, 10:39:45 AM
That's me.  Cool

Joke.

Whenever there are huge buyins or transfers, there's always some people that tracks them out and I think that even it's sort of defeating a bit of its purpose, still you'll never know who's behind of it.

100 bitcoins, thousands of Bitcoins. An individual doing it? Most likely related to the companies from the Bitcoin spot etf brokers.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: January 20, 2024, 09:27:22 AM
What we must Aways consider is that every time we make a Withdrawal we have to do everything so that we can have the best experience, not risk anything After we win, because if we risk it we have to assume that we can lose everything and more, and that It is what should always be avoided.
It's fine to take risk again after your withdrawal. But to enjoy that gambling experience for the second time around is to make sure that money is already out of your capital and is a part of your profit.

So, whatever happens to that remaining money that you've left as you gamble again isn't going to take serious hit on your bankroll and also with your profit.

But what matters if you take a risk, make sure that you can bring yourself with that and you're not going to regret actions and decisions you've concluded.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2024, 08:52:06 AM
Everyone has the same plan and goal and eager to wait until Bitcoin reaches a million dollar. $500k is already a dream come true and could retire a lot of people already.

But are you sure that you're going to retire after that? I don't think so, money that you've profited from Bitcoin will not be moving anymore but then is subject to inflation and that's why it could be another start of a new journey in finance.

Most of us will still continue in investing despite retired already on their words but IMO, it gets boring when you have nothing to do.
1005  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2024 is lonely year, after marriage become even more lonely on: January 20, 2024, 08:23:18 AM
Communication is the key.

Not all that we see on social media are real. That's why I am not impress with people posting their happy moments on their social media accounts.

I don't like it when someone is sad because it seems that the sadness is also shared, well that's just me. Talk to your wife, the people that are you're seeing everyday.

You prolly just need some interaction but as we grow old, I guess that being alone is one matter to accept.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the Choice of Investors on: January 20, 2024, 07:53:27 AM
Now that there's Bitcoin Spot ETF, those that have eyeing for the Gold ETF then have another choice if they want to dive in with Bitcoin Spot ETF.

While there are various choices for most investors on every market. Obviously here, we're for Bitcoin and we like holding that because it is what we're used to hold and take on its highly volatile market.

If you want to invest in crypto currency then definitely put no bitcoin in your holding because bitcoin is the best coin of crypto currency and even the safest investment if you can keep holding for long time because one time you will see the price of bitcoin go high maybe you will regret.  Maybe that's why you're not holding bitcoin.
Put no Bitcoin? I think that you've mistyped that mate.  Grin

But definitely, Bitcoin is the best crypto of all.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: January 20, 2024, 07:26:39 AM
Reading the excuse of that mother after a year still sounds crazy. When you're addicted, you don't find excuses when you're busted by your own addiction.

If I lose, I'll keep quiet and won't brag about it because that's the most shy thing to brag with.

We don't brag losses and that's why it's just best to be silent and do nothing and try again on the next day. No need to find fault from others, accept losses.
1008  Other / Off-topic / Re: The other problem on: January 20, 2024, 06:50:21 AM
You are procrastinating and it is normal when you are distracted. You're allowing the distraction that get you caught and that's why you're experiencing that problem.

I have always been like that but I am trying to fight and think of the goal that I need to achieve.

Think of the things that you're trying to aim for yourself and maybe that can help you out get out of that delay.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: January 19, 2024, 11:55:52 PM
No one is talking about the Dota 2/Valve's massive ban wave for the smurf accounts including the pro players. This is honestly a satisfying move by Valve with their VAC system.

I don't enjoy the game when there are 2-3 players that seem not to be in the low rank and then it's obvious that they're boosting a player with their party.

So, read all the details about this news and many pro players was included with their smurfs on this massive ban.

1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 19, 2024, 11:22:49 PM
I always don't care about what people say whether it's comments about my personal life or when I'm gambling because as long as I don't bother other people and don't ask them for money then I will remain indifferent and do whatever activities I like whether it's gambling in front of them, although sometimes gambling is considered bad, but it's me who does it and I also bear the losses while they are just busy making comments which I think are noisy Grin
That is what it should be.

We will mind what we do and we don't mind what others do and that's why we shouldn't let them affect our feelings in whichever we do. If they're too talkative and tells a lot of tales that we don't like, ignore them.

That's the best revenge that you can do to them and react nothing as if you are just doing nothing and actually ignoring them for real. Just think of those folks that don't have anything to do so they comment to you.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ARAW Tokens on: January 19, 2024, 10:58:33 PM
But it's safe to just accept your loss with it.
The OP might not feel the pain because I am not sure he used his money to purchase the coin. Maybe it was received freely by the OP. I don’t think someone will use his or her own money to purchase a token like this, and I am sure if the OP purchases the coin, then the OP will have been following up on the coin, and the OP won’t be asking where to sell the coin right now.
Yeah, if it's an airdrop or reward he won't feel the pain.

Still, he might feel the regret that he has probably lost money from it and didn't sold when it was still quite new and there was a lot of volume on it.

If he has taken this coin long time ago, it's either he has taken it freely or was just able to buy it during the early days just as what's happening now through hype.
1012  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you are becoming a billionaire in 2025,buying a large ship should not be goal on: January 19, 2024, 07:03:32 PM
Those are the works of a philanthropists.

I can do whatever I want with that much money and that's for sure, to give back to the community to the best that I can and in the capacity that I can.

But if someone is wealthy, they're the ones to take care of their wealth and can decide whether to give back or not. They're not obliged at all but they're free to do it if ever they want.

It's part of my plan but it's better to just keep it to yourself whenever you do a good thing whether soon or in the near future.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ARAW Tokens on: January 19, 2024, 06:29:29 PM
Most likely it's a dead project. Most of the pairs that I have seen on it, it's not going to motivate you from exchanging it. Like what they've said, the liquidity is too low.

And it's unlikely that you'll find someone who's interested of purchasing that from you. Take it as a loss and forget that forever. You can check its market once in a while if there's any miracle.

But it's safe to just accept your loss with it.
1014  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be deceived!! on: January 19, 2024, 05:52:53 PM
I am seeing a lot of them but I have never been jealous. If they make money from those, that's nice but if they get scammed, I don't celebrate that but they'll have to learn from that experience.

While the people that are into it, don't see and understand that when it's about the PR. These developers can easily do and pay for it. While them the active airdrop people, they call it "grind" but I can't blame them because some of these airdrops in the past really made them a lot of money and that's why the hope of them is still there.
1015  Other / Off-topic / Re: First time creating a wi-fi voucher topology for public on: January 19, 2024, 05:23:08 PM
Check how much is the capacity of your device that's connected to it. If it's not that much, one of the threat is someone finds a way to hack it and just connects on it freely. Otherwise, the other threat is what vod said.

If you can have another connection for your own usage, IMHO, that's much better.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 19, 2024, 04:43:10 PM
You know what's better.

Try to wait til' the end so that you won't be having anything when you're done. That's most likely the result of being eager to push through when you've got profits already and then decided to continue.

But if you cash out, there's no need for you to wait til' the end because that's how an ending must be. An ending where you have money with you as you withdraw.
1017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETFs - Good or Bad? on: January 19, 2024, 04:13:56 PM
Bitcoin is for everyone. I think in the past there have been talks about its massive adoption and even the financial institutions won't be able to stop it and yet, here they are.

Whether we like it or not, there's no way to stop whatever fuels this adoption of Bitcoin and the advantages and disadvantages that this Bitcoin Spot ETF brings to it.

Whatever happens, happens and that's what we have to embrace. One thing is that for sure is, Bitcoin's move isn't stagnant as an investment based on these events.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 19, 2024, 03:45:52 PM
I missed the trade of Siakam to Indiana Pacers, was it a good decision for the Raptors? I don't know but this is what's permanent in the league, we're always going to see trades everywhere. And even for the franchise players, it's now possible that they get traded away based on the interest of the management.

We can just always think of the "IF" they've retained the champion roster that they've got. Well, it's just part of the history now and with the Nuggets in the future, I think that we might see the same thing.
For me the Raptors won this trade. Imagine getting three 1st-rounders for Pascal Siakam but I think Pascal Siakam will also do well in Indiana Pacers. I like the move for both teams. This is benefits for the Raptors in their rebuilding process.

Currently, Chris Boucher is the only player remaining from the 2019 Toronto Raptors championship roster. The championship team caliber has been gone for a long time for the Raptors since Kawhi left.
Yeah. There's still Chris Boucher on that winning roster but he's not the same as the other known players from his batch. Every first 1 rounder picks are good and having it three is an advantage but, it's always guaranteed that the first pick is the best pick at all.

We've just seen it on this batch but yeah, can't remove the fact that it is an advantage for the Raptors and all they have to do is to rebuild the team and have some chemistry again.
1019  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the best piece of advice you've ever received? on: January 19, 2024, 03:12:07 PM
My parents and other told me to never stop believing in Jesus for everlasting life in Heaven.

Cool
I'd agree on you with this one.

It's like doing my best and let Him do the rest of it. So, if it's the best of advice, that's it. Because I have been in the lowest part of my life and no one has helped me but He was there for me.

That's my belief and that's the advice that I've heard and I just obeyed and saw it with my own eyes on how He moved and did the rest. It might be crazy to think of for the non believers but it is what it is for me.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: January 18, 2024, 11:48:29 PM
ESL released a statement about DOTA TV and streamer guidelines. If someone doesn't know what it is? The main stream of tournaments like for ESL tournaments should only be watched on ESL main streams on Twitch.

But what happened is that there are other streamers that sets a watch party and watches directly on those ESL streams and streams that on their channels.

Here's their statement --> https://esl.com/dota2/community-streaming-guidelines/

This has been going on for years, and it seems that they really wanted to take all of the profits and not share it with other streamers who sometimes provide a lot more insight in the games that are streaming compared to the ESL casters that, on some occasions, are just blabbering around and yapping that are not related to the game whatsoever. Well, it will eventually happen though. Just imagine how many thousands of viewers these individual streamers are getting from the ESL main streams that it hurts them revenue-wise.
IMHO, they can stopped it.

If they take actions ban those streamers that are going on their main streams, these banned streamers will easily make a new account and rinse and repeat.

They won't be able to stop it but what they can do is to partner with these streamers and at least give them some profits and get the royalty that they deserve from those streamers.

It's win-win for both of them.
