1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 18, 2024, 09:48:27 PM
We've all been there, that moment of realization when you remember selling your precious Bitcoins years ago and wonder if you missed the boat.  Well, take a deep breath, because im here to remind you that in the world of crypto, time is always on our side!

It might sting a bit to think about what could have been if you held onto those BTC, but let's not forget the golden rule of crypto: it's a marathon, not a sprint. The market is dynamic, and opportunities are ever-present.
That's a good reminder for everyone of us and to answer if I did regret my sold BTCs, somehow I did. But when I realize that it did helped me during those hard times upon selling them, it gives me a relief and thankful to Bitcoin.

There are moments of our lives that we have to force sell the Bitcoins that we held in the past. This time, we're not going to do that again, as long as we're able to endure the situation and there are other solutions on it, that's what I am going to do.

But for those that can't find any solution and your only solution is to sell, think of it if it's going to give you relief and no regrets.
1022  Other / Off-topic / Re: what are your investments? on: January 18, 2024, 09:19:59 PM
I think there are many people on this forum who have diversified portfolio not in just terms of bitcoin or crypto currency but also somewhere else. I would be interested to know where you guys have invested and screwing money apart from your 9-5 job and signature campaigns. Cool
Real estate.

Small business.

I want to diversify in some jewelries soon but I find it that I need to know more of it. Because it's like the investment of my aunties and uncles and they've always recommended to do that.

Soon, I'll add more dividend paying stocks so my goal is to have more passive income and investments too aside from having Bitcoin. We're not growing younger and our strength is fading and that's why we need our money to work for us.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on other people bet and it amount, and does it affect you? on: January 18, 2024, 08:49:13 PM
Only myself affects my own bet and not others. If I see others betting with large amounts, I don't mind about that nor be jealous with it.

It's not my money and I will only be curious with my own money and not with the others. There are gamblers that can bet as much as they can but not me and that's the case for me.

I'll only bet with amounts that won't make me feel bad of losing it.

I have the same sentiments on this matter. Because you can't do anything much with how much you can afford to bet.
Yes, sometimes it is good to see those large bets but should not take them seriously and apply it on your own bets.
This is not the way to look at this scenario. Maybe, you can get an inspiration but not to the point of borrowing money just to follow such high rollers.
Because if you lose your bet, how can you recover such loss if you have no more money to continue your game?
So in a regular basis, I don't check someone else's amount of bets. But just mind my own bets. You will find out, it is good for your peace of mind
We just have to mind our own business, our own bets and our own bankroll. If someone feels affected that he can see someone bet higher than him, that's fine.

You don't have to be affected with those people or you don't have to mind them because that's how they are gambling.

It is your money and it is their money and we're ruling them for our own purposes and move.
1024  Other / Off-topic / Re: I need help with making Time feel “slower” on: January 18, 2024, 01:14:19 PM
When you enjoy doing sometime, your time seems to move faster. But if you're tired and bored, you'll barely feel that the time is moving.

Reflect sometime and go somewhere you can breath fresh air. Maybe by that, you'll get to feel the time slower or you'll think that you just want to feel that moment to become slower.

And I think as we grow older, time moves faster.

1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: January 17, 2024, 11:41:31 PM
You're having a serious encounter.

Go outside and keep yourself away from your devices if ever you're doing online gambling which is likely you're doing. Get some fresh air and enjoy the works of nature and its beauty.

That's one way to relieve that stress and depression that you're dealing, it's for free or might take you some money to travel somewhere else in your locality but I assure you that you'll have a better perspective about life.

1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be a hope restorer if we go about it wisely! on: January 17, 2024, 10:35:00 PM
That happens sometimes so, it's a good thing that guy won and was able to buy back and start again his business with the money he's won from gambling.

But isn't it when a business that was raided and related to bring contrabands, is the owner gonna get some ban, right? If that's not on his case then let's just be happy that he's back on track.

And hopefully, that he'll manage to win some more and won't associate a lot with gambling anymore when he's back in business.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Gold, land which better? on: January 17, 2024, 04:43:28 PM
If you are investing in bitcoin and you don't see any returns, you will need to be extremely knowledgeable about the market and be willing to wait.
People that invests on Bitcoin that didn't get to see their returns are the ones who have invested at the peak and never been patient to hold it until it goes back there.

I've heard a lot of stories that they're like that.

The greatest digital assets to choose are gold and bitcoin, which are safe options as you may sell them whenever you want. There are buyers everywhere.
Let's say that Bitcoin didn't worked for that guy who invested at the peak, he's still got the option to buy gold and much better with real estate. With the latter, they are assured that their money is going to appreciate over time.
1030  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto is a scam on: January 17, 2024, 03:32:48 PM
The gap for what?

Crypto is meant not to be like that. There's much more and better reason why crypto has been started and even before the popularity of it has risen, there were the same concepts in the past that have been seen and made.

People really have to change their minds and understand more things clearly when they all assume that it's always about the money why crypto has been made.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: January 16, 2024, 09:28:23 PM
Either way is fun.

If you are stressed when you see the game and your bet losing, you can just use some techniques that are not going to hurt you and, how?

Simple, don't watch the game and don't let yourself absorb that stress that you don't deserve. Life is too short and all you have to do is make yourself comfortable with that bet and wait.  Tongue
1032  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Marriage a contract or a union? on: January 16, 2024, 12:32:25 PM
Divorce has appeared to be seen as a norm especially in the western part of the world which shouldn’t be completely seen as a menace because a-times it could happen for good reason. A divorce can and should only go through if any one of the parties involve themselves in infidelity, domestic violence or if the marriage was an arranged marriage… courting is really the foundation of any successful marriage
There are grounds for it.

But what's sad is that divorce is being used by those that are just into tasting period of their lives. They might be into a serious relationship but then, you know when someone fall out of love, this is where it is going.

I agree to the grounds and reasons that divorce can be valid with those reasons for in both agrees that they're no longer happy to each other's side.
1033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not use more than 2x leverage on: January 15, 2024, 10:37:03 PM
I guess there is one point of Vitalik's life that he did more than 2x leverage and he lost and he's done with it. It's a good advise for someone who's conservative in investing but in trading, traders should also consider what he's said.

If someone is going to follow his advise, that's good and it helped what he said. But if not, no matter who's saying these advises, we're on our own as we trade.

Good thing with Vitalik is that, he's got his own platform through his social media and I am sure that many newbies that admires him follows him a lot.
1034  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your thoughts on becoming a programmer? on: January 15, 2024, 09:12:51 PM
I did some school assignments before for VB, C, C++, C#, HTML and Java. It was hectic and I was just able to complete the task and pass the assignment on.

Honestly for someone like me, I want to be one and I did my everything to at least understand all of the concepts of commands and other things like loops, etc.

But when you start to do other things and you rarely program, you'll get rusty and will eventually forget all of those just like what happened to me.

So if you want to pursue a career in programming, keep on making programs or system until you get hired and just add that to your portfolio. There's always a demand for the programmers, don't get scared with the AI craze that they're saying.

Programmers are always needed.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making too many picks reduces chances of winning. on: January 15, 2024, 06:56:33 PM
I also take bets one at a time.

I just don't want to do it for so many bets at the same time but when some matches that I like for which a player or the team itself, I'll bet for that even if I have already an active bet.

It varies from time to time and I don't parlay. I'm more satisfied to see the actual odds for each of the bet that I make. Maybe that's about being organized with our bets that we just want it to be like that.
1036  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job for others country! on: January 15, 2024, 05:28:47 PM
He definitely going to see those processes and how he can take jobs from that specific country. Most of the labor agencies are giving instructions and the processes on how a worker needs to go through for the application in the legal way.

Well, as I've mentioned the legal way.

There are a lot of workers are trying to go with the wrong route of doing an illegal way and everyone shouldn't go for that path.

Most likely what op is referring to as the illegal way is when overseas workers stay in a country with an expired visa or those illegal immigrants

Undocumented workers mostly came to the country for work but then their contract ended a little too early and therefore have no more reason to stay in the country and it will probably be hard to get a citizenship in that country so workers tend to just go undocumented for the sake of their families

This is extremely dangerous and you would be living in constant hiding
It is dangerous and shouldn't be tolerated.

That's why for each migrant worker that's undocumented, they're representing their country and their other countrymen. That gives the negative record on that particular migrant's country and how they're neglecting the process.

It is not new with these cases and it is still happening.
1037  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I become a professional trader? on: January 15, 2024, 03:36:08 PM
I have seen real people that are doing trading full time. What I just don't like with them is they think that others can also follow the path that they've taken.

While I'd say that it's possible for you OP to become a full time trader, whether you call yourself or them as professional traders. You already have the idea about what you must know.

But there can be some situations that all of those analysis won't do anything against the unpredictability of the market. If you think that you're an aspiring trader, see it for yourself as no one's going to stop you.
1038  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job for others country! on: January 15, 2024, 01:07:01 PM
Very possible.

Just search for that job and if a company hires you directly then they'll be able to help you out with all the documents and processes just for you to comeby and start working for them.

Many are working remotely and that's no need for any visa as long as you remain their online remote worker. But it's still a different thing when you work on an actual job from that country inside the company's premises.
and also best if he wanted to put specific country that he is targeting and also from which country he  comes from .
He definitely going to see those processes and how he can take jobs from that specific country. Most of the labor agencies are giving instructions and the processes on how a worker needs to go through for the application in the legal way.

1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 15, 2024, 11:54:50 AM
I agree.

It's her money to take care of and if she's enjoying, I'll her do her own thing but I'll just give her some reminders that she shouldn't do it to the point that everything she is going to be put on stake.

She just take it as simple as enjoyment but she needs to be fully aware that it can wipe her things and money out so, that's it. She can entertain herself with that but still needs to be careful.
There isn't much grandchildren can do anyway regards the gambling activity of their grandmothers. An elder is an adult responsible for his own acts, have lived much longer than grandchildren, therefore there is a natural belief of being wiser and more experienced, besides having their own source of income. Why would they listen to orders coming from children? If you put yourself on their shoes you will understand it. We don't like to be ordered by younger people than us and people who we consider to be less experienced, and it seems as we get older, this feeling just gets stronger.

I believe the only thing grandchildren can do, which may work, is to appeal emotionally to their grandmothers that they stop. This kind of approach can sensibilize the elders, although it's not likely to have long term impacts...
Sometimes, the younger sees the better part that the older can't see it themselves. Having some reminder won't hurt them unless they're going to take it personally.

I know that it's hard to accept when a younger person tries to give you some reminder as if they know what you've gone through. It's normal, it's okay not to listen to them but just accept the care and the thought that should count for those words that might be reminded by the younger grandchildren or son/daughter.
1040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advised for being a trader? on: January 15, 2024, 11:02:26 AM
Take into consideration your starting capital when you trade. The reality of trading is the higher the capital you'll have, the "chance" of earning quite high is also there so it's like an equal proportion to the capital you start with.

But small time traders can also grow their funds but it is going to take time. Don't get fooled by the successful traders that you can also be like them without going through hardships.

You take your own path and just look on your own progress.
