1041  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seniors apply patience and kindness to newcomers on: September 21, 2023, 07:24:19 PM
It's true that some posts from newcomers may be of low quality or show a lack of willingness to learn initially. However, I believe that giving them a chance and treating them with kindness is a reasonable approach.
Yes respect to real newbies maybe yes. But like others said. There were new users or beginners account whom seems to be faking as newbie and yet trying to farm merits. Well its hard to tell actually nowadays but they knew somehow. I dont act rude or harsh when it comes to newbie or fake newbies. But if the topics is really an old one or been used or asked many times. This is where the part you lecture or at leadt say something about the forum rules.
1042  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The excitement of the bull run news on: September 21, 2023, 06:23:44 PM
They say, it's gonna be a combination of many factors and first the ETFs that are likely to get approved soon especially the ones that are filed by the biggest institutions. Next would be the AI hype but I'm not expecting that there will be a bigger force that it will contribute on this next bull run. Other than that, I'm just looking forward to the actual push of what halving is going to do alone.
I think its much timing on the bitcoin halving. Its pretty obvious they will timeline the approval on that schedule. So etf approval for bitcoin moon mission but its not enough. There must be some factor on the altcoin side to be a huge bull run effect. Dont think so its gonna be metaverse, maybe socialfi or lsdefi could be the main trigger.
1043  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The excitement of the bull run news on: September 21, 2023, 10:11:07 AM
Last bitcoin halving btc exploded that much and trigger the bull run with some alts p2e era tokens. Now not sure what would be the trigger here. Some are bullish already, let me say that dont get too excited as we are still in bearish. Reserved your joy once you see it really happening and right now position yourself if you are that confident that it will happen again. Expectation is really hurtful when it didnt happened.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balancer frontend is being attacked on: September 21, 2023, 09:52:15 AM
I would not be shocked if the official news reported the involvement of Lazarus, however, I would also not be shocked if it was not true hehehe.
Probably it is possible they linked it again. Sometimes the media is quite clever and putting blames on the hacker itself but I am finding on chain evidences that are more credible like how zach used to investigate before believing to it. Chances are Government are making it pinned to Lazarus Group but they just wanted to create like you said another executive and finding out reason for it. If theres none make one right? Haha.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could SocialFi be the new trend in crypto? on: September 20, 2023, 06:00:38 PM
Do you think SocialFi can be the new trend in crypto? What are the centralized or decentralized projects that will succeed?
I thinking it could be the next or the one slowly havung attention from projects like ts, friend tech, and tipcoin all of it encourage be active on social media specifically twitter. So I guess if this extended or expanded by new ones or those I mentioned surely socialfi could be a great trigger for bull run. Thats still depend on the hype and trend but there are some failures too but thats fine we will see if socialfi, metaverse or defi will still be the game changer on incoming bull run.
1046  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies should be aware. on: September 20, 2023, 03:08:28 PM
Most of these airdrops are scams so newbies should avoid these airdrops. Scammers especially promote fake airdrops on social media. Gmail is a street where a lot of fake scam airdrop mail can be found.
Before these kind of airdrops are quite legit like around 2017 to 2019. There are really just wallet add and email like form style airdrops where devs giving tokens and had valuable prices. But now its change aside from doing a lot of task in the end the reward is not worth it cause some shift to nft prizes or tokens that arent being distributed. It seems the worth it drops are into spending like retroairdrop and interactions to protocols.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balancer frontend is being attacked on: September 20, 2023, 11:46:30 AM
I think these scammers are really targeting defi hub right now. Since this months few protocols already been compromise and now even Balancer has been breached. Every protocol out there must upgrade their security measure as they need to defend from this group. You think the one that continously doing this came from a certain group? Like the Lazarus hackers from the North Korea?
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on Native Coins/Tokens of Exchanges? on: September 19, 2023, 10:12:02 AM
but can't find any reliable crypto news site talking about the connection of Vitalik with this MAX token.
so yeah, better do your due diligence before jumping on this token. we don't know exactly what is true on this.
Normally if theres a related coin or token to Vitalik its gonna be seen right away especially on Twitter since mostly I followed important CT and first hand info influencers regarding some news but Id really not hear about this max tokens.

Seeing the kind calibre of advisors Maicoin has, and the fact that it got listed on several other exchanges "I saw the list on the link you sent" I think it might amount to something worth holding tho.
Oh thanks for the links and sources will take a look now. OP should have done or look for these info like you did. Anyway will be back upon checking it.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on Native Coins/Tokens of Exchanges? on: September 18, 2023, 05:53:00 PM
may not familiar with MAX. It is the utility token issued by MaiCoin Asset Exchange based in Taipei, Taiwan and it is a part of MaiCoin Group. Charlie Lee and Vitalik are also advisors of this group and so if you remember, Vitalik was giving an update about ETH 2.0 at Maicoin STO conference in Taipei a long time ago and also did a podcast with Maicoin, discussing Ethereum's transition to Proof of Stake, regulatory challenges, economic disparities in cryptocurrency, innovative solutions from Radical Markets like quadratic funding etc.
I didnt hear about this one can you share some reference link so we can see the linkage of Vitalik from this project. Surely will heard of it if Vitalik somehow make some noise about it or some CT but unfortunately I didnt see any news on social or so to say didnt find the hype around max tokens.

Is this already launch? Or just a plan with some details being cooked on?
1050  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deleting Post can reduce the merit we got? on: September 18, 2023, 11:45:18 AM
Deleting that particular post will have any impact on our total of merits like will its reduce or still remain as same as before? I thought i should ask it to the community so that it will add up to my knowledge and Information. If Anyone of you know about this please do lemme know Many Thanks
No of course not received merits retain in your account but reduces your post activity and count. If ever you also hit below the specific rank requirement youll be demoted I believed and rank up again once you hit that specitic requirement.

I had a lot of posts before and deleted those unquality post like social links for campaign prerequisites but didnt reduce my merits. I think deleted few post too with merits, forgot though why I deleted those :p
1051  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk user Joerii passed away... on: September 18, 2023, 10:39:32 AM
Condolence to his family. Based on the feedback and comments from users who knew him he is a nice guy and had some reputation on his name. Its quite unfortunate that we loss another prominent member here in the forum.

Anything like this is really a big blow on the community side. Btw has anybody created a threads/index list (hall of fame a such) about people who pass away and leave forum for good?
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: September 18, 2023, 09:58:07 AM
There are no layer zero airdrops. One of the developers of the Layer Zero team(With proof) confirmed it. Most of the airdrop hunters used the Arbitrum Airdrop money to farm the layzero airdrop. End of the day you are being farmed by the protocol.  You will get nothing.
Cite the source dude. Its not like theres a real confirmation from the devs themselves. List it with the comment so we could check if you are right. You might probably right when you say some devs taking advantage of the protocol from users but they havent said about it so its seems that users were just doing it on their own scheme. Since they didnt promise any, its not their obligations so this is quite risky actually. Not having airdrop is a bit critical if they announced it now sicne mostly will pullback and remoge their fair shares.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many advantages do you know about tron? on: September 17, 2023, 02:11:36 PM
Im not a fan of tron blockchain but it seems one of the lowest in fees and Im alwayd using it for transfering my stabelcoins via exchange due to a very minimal fees.  Its impressive actually considering other L1 transfers. But in terms of dapps relation, I prefer other platform like matic, avalanche, bsc and others from ethereum. I like to think tron as an alternative even though its not my first choice. But use case wise its one of useful.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You need to know your rank on Layer zero ? on: September 17, 2023, 10:21:02 AM
Well, that's the problem. Most websites like that have a risk of phishing. I also don't really believe the data that has been attached. Honestly, I don't even know what the function of the website you have linked is even though I have read it several times. Can anyone explain what (not how the site works) the function of what is offered on the site is for?
They just showing you the potential of your airdrop wallet based on your activity. They used parameters to quantify potential ranks. You just inputting your wallet address. I believe no super tech could hack you right sway without having the seed phrase for that matter. That kind of site are common on airdrop socials where developers are witty enough to create checkers like these. No need to panic.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's Legacy. Nour Protocol on: September 17, 2023, 09:52:23 AM
You all know that in 2018, only one, seemingly meaningless word, was posted from Satoshi's account: "nour"...

I understand that the whole intrigue of this post is that you will soon be promoting something similar here, related to your nickname and having nothing to do with Satoshi message. So I've already bought popcorn and I'm waiting for your new messages about the nour protocol.
Actually I had the same feeling. Maybe if Elon did says Nour too the hype on OP would be more realistic but Satoshi's had been gone for good and people who think they could take advantage of the word he speak from his account would be another big project incoming well bitcoin is enough as it is for Satoshi.

I might enjoy this theatrics too with a cheese powder popcorn and a soda.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge vs hodlings on: September 17, 2023, 08:03:36 AM
Don't make it complicated, just try to understand fiat
Having knowledge about Bitcoin doesn't make you able to earn, it's just a currency. What you're need to learn is a hard skill that you can work and get paid from someone e.g. design, programmer etc.
Maybe having a little knowledge about bitcoin could give you an edge too. Take for example knowledge on cryptocurrency. You could make money by participating on some campaign, testnet or airdrops. So its not a total waste in my opinion. But you are right its just a currency amyway and to learn skills is what we must have prioritize to grow and make money out of it. But deepining your knowledge extensively aside from the skills will make your time worth more while in earning those money.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are telegram bots for trade worth it? on: September 16, 2023, 09:32:47 AM
Maybe the strategy that the trading bot is using is not updated anymore? Because as we can see it is working against the market. Or it was simply a poor strategy that are injected to it?
Maybe you are right as there are several devs setting up a trading bot with different strategy and algorithm to outsmart the market but if thats really possible I would like to see or review more of these bots that has a very wide reputations. Surely they will be expensive one if proven and tested to give more profits.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Crypto Heist: Alphapo's $31 Million Nightmarish Ordeal on: September 16, 2023, 09:28:41 AM
How can users protect their assets if they are stored in centralized platforms?
The only way to protect assets is to store them in non-custodial wallets where only you have the private keys.
This is right. Its reminded that every trader on cex exchange that put some funds only they are afford to lose. Yes this is a protocol, but if they pouring a lots of money into the game they should be aware of the consequence indeed. Or if they trading a huge amount of money they should at least transfer it on non custodial and give it back during trading activity only ans not used as a wallet.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram launches crypto currency wallet. on: September 16, 2023, 08:38:26 AM
Yes, it did.

I have tried it and it seems it is available directly on the Telegram app, I interact the wallet using the bot features.
Hello how to access this wallet in the app. Im looking for it but Im not sure where to open the wallet via app. Does we need to do something first or download it or set it up? Cause based on the images above it works like the bots on other third party dapp. Hope you could tell where in the app section can we start opening it?
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 04:41:24 AM
Im thinking the same too but I trust my family members than other so I am willing to share the seed phrase and for now I am teaching them slowly about crypto and basics such as how to unlock wallet so that if ever there is an accident or anything happened to me they could access it easily and able to get the valuable tokens and coins from my asset portfolio.
