1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that if you bounce bitcoin back and forth to different wallets on: June 26, 2023, 12:06:25 AM
that after a certain amount of time the bitcoin becomes practically anonymous? As in, not being able to be traced back to the original KYC exchange, or in the case of "tainted" bitcoin, that?

Not correct. Since all transactions are public, even the most basic blockchain forensics will be able to trace your coins back to the exchange where they originated. No matter how many hops you make.
1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you only have a receiving address pay send bitcoin? on: June 25, 2023, 11:58:57 PM
Looks like there's some confusion about what the OP meant. I think he actually wants to use the coins he got from the last address, not send them back to where they came from.

@yat97, I don't know about the Safepal wallet specifically, but you should look to see if you have a coin control feature, as bitmover said. Some wallets support this, such as Electrum or Bitcoin Core. If your wallet does not support this function, I think your only alternative is to import your private keys into another wallet. Be careful with this and never share your private key with anyone or enter it into online websites or unverified software.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on live game or while game hasn't started yet? on: June 25, 2023, 09:30:02 PM
Live betting can be fun if you watch the match live. You can evaluate the current form of a player or team, changes in tactics or injuries that occur during a match. For example, if one team is the clear favorite but the weaker team is lucky enough to score an early goal, the odds can change drastically giving you an advantage over if you had placed a pre-match bet. But as others have mentioned, it really depends on the specific case and your betting strategy. I generally only use live betting if I'm watching a game at the same time.
1044  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have been gone for a while on: June 25, 2023, 07:49:51 PM
It's quite mind-boggling to be bombarded with all these questions when there is absolutely no possible way for me to take advantage of anyone here. I have no interest in doing so. My dear...

You brought it on yourself, my dear. No one would ask you about your past if you approached this forum like a normal newbie would, and slowly and painstakingly built your new online presence from the ground up. But no. The first thing you stated was that you were "coming back" and that you were supposedly very active in this community in the past. It sounded like you wanted to prove something with that statement.

So, no. No one is asking you to share your private information or anything like that. We simply want to know who we are dealing with and what your old username is, if what you claim is true. What's the secret in that?

But, that's not the end of the story. The second thing you did was ask for a loan without proper collateral. Was this a normal thing for newbies in the past? I highly doubt that much has changed in this regard. The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" predates your alleged involvement in this community.

<...>
And because I want to come back to this world, I need to orient myself towards what is currently in high demand so that I can provide it with the skills I have.

And, if the reason for your return is to run some kind of business here, then your reputation is the single most important thing that you could carry over from your previous account. It's rather surprising that you seem uninterested in doing so. Or perhaps there's a reason behind it?
1046  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A Dumb way to scam forum members on: June 24, 2023, 08:18:10 PM
<...>
Since his shared address is empty, I guess there is no amount scammed yet.

As long as the scammers are dumb like the case in question, the vast majority of crypto users are safe. It's a situation of "dumb and dumber"!  You have to be dumber than the scammer to be scammed, and that was almost impossible in this case.  Cheesy

Good catch though!
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 24, 2023, 07:52:11 PM
People buy lotteries because they are cheap, so they buy in large quantities. And even though their chances of winning are close to zero, they still think that one day, they will hit the jackpot prize. That's what makes people addicted to buying a lottery to collect hundreds of tickets and hope one or more can win the prize. Sometimes people borrow money to buy lottery tickets because they are tempted to win a prize. They forget that the lottery game is based on luck and that only people with a high level of luck can get the jackpot. For them, the lottery is a gambling game that can be a way to get a lot of money.

I think anyone who buys lottery tickets in bulk is a fool. I mean, I can somewhat understand people who play their "lucky numbers" all their lives in hopes that one day they might be lucky. But buying a bunch of tickets to increase your chances is just ridiculous in the case of the lottery. The odds of winning are astronomical, no matter how many tickets you buy.
1048  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: June 24, 2023, 07:36:27 PM
Is there a way to track how much rakeback we are earning during the day when the daily reward distribue?

No, I don't think so. I don't know if they have a way to track your rakeback or not. There doesn't appear to be one. You pretty much just have to keep an eye on your account balance.
I noticed that the "Statistics" menu item is still unavailable. Maybe it will be possible in the future. I'm not sure.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 24, 2023, 07:24:41 PM
Choosing gambling as a source of income will fail whether it is a main source or a part-time source. Gambling is only for entertainment, a person who chooses gambling as a source of income will never be successful.

So you're denying that there are people out there who are professional gamblers? There are people who make their living from gambling, yes. I know some people who are professional gamblers and that's practically all they do, and they do well for themselves. They don't rely on luck alone to win money from gambling; instead, they use skills and strategies that can give them an advantage.

But it can be used to refresh the mind. But in today's youth gambling has become a source of income for many people because of the high unemployment rate due to which people are forced to start gambling and choose gambling as a source of income. that's just the truth

These are not professionals. They are amateurs who are delusional about their abilities and their success. But, in reality, they are just going to be another statistic that goes down in the history books as someone who tried and failed at gambling.

I’m not actually questioning integrity of campaign manager because I respect BoxxoB as campaign manager ever since. I pertaining to the commitment of the campaign to go longer since most of the campaign here just end when the owner is not impressed on the result.

Atleast when the funds for long term is escrowed. We can ensure how serious the owner on making this in long run since he is giving advance payment secured on escrow wallet without any uncertainty if he will continue or not on the following weeks. Simply action speaks louder than words.

Yeah. I just hope that dewez is aware that no marketing campaign, not even a signature campaign, will get immediate results. No matter how much money was spent on it and no matter how many participants it had. It takes time before people start noticing your brand. It also takes effort from his end to ensure that the campaign is successful.
1051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins redistribution on: June 24, 2023, 05:58:00 PM
In time we will have fewer and fewer bitcoins, currently it is thought 3-4 million bitcoins are already lost. This makes me sad.

This should not make you sad because it means that the coins you hold become more valuable. The fewer coins on the market, the more valuable they are.

I am aware of Satoshi's view on this "lost coins are a donation to everyone". Yes, but 4 million is a lot,

Who says 4 million coins are lost? Who can even say for sure?

do we want Bitcoin to still be used 1000 years from now? If this trend continues most if not all bitcoins would have been lost by then.

Do you really care what will happen in 1000 years? Will humanity exist in 1000 years?

Again, this is an approximation, but 4 million lost coins out of 21 million. That's like 20% of the total gold/fiat supply just vanishing forever.

I still don't see where the problem is? Would it really be a problem if 1 BTC was worth, say, a million dollars? Or more. After all, each bitcoin can be divided into 100,000,000 satoshis. So, if a bitcoin becomes too valuable, there's no need for anyone to handle or transact with the entire bitcoin unit.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥✅🔥 [ANN] HASHFAIR GAMES🔥✅🔥 EXPERIENCE WEB-3 GAMBLING WORLD ✅🔥 on: June 24, 2023, 05:17:59 PM

I have visited your website, but I couldn't find any specific information regarding the project. I'm curious to know when you plan to update it with the necessary details. Additionally, the link to the whitepaper seems to be broken, and I noticed that your social media channels lack helpful information as well.

I think this is important information that should be given to potential investors, before the launch of the bounty campaign.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: June 24, 2023, 10:36:32 AM
Which one do you actually find to be more easier and I believe that futures trading is also capable of giving someone life-changing money but which one do you believe is less risky than the other?

Trading always requires skill and knowledge, you cannot approach it with the same mindset as gambling. Only fools trade without the necessary research and analysis of the market. Trading is a skill that can be learned and mastered. Of course, luck is always essential for success, but that's how it is with everything in life.

On the other hand, gambling is a purely luck-based activity. You cannot control the outcome no matter how much you know and how much you have practiced. That is a big difference between the two.

It may sound strange, but I enjoy trading more than gambling. The feeling of winning is much better when you know that you made it yourself.
1054  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: June 24, 2023, 10:10:55 AM
It appears that the OP's intention for this thread was to gather input and recommendations from the community regarding his gambling website, rather than using it as the primary announcement thread. Like soft-launch or beta testing. The OP can use this thread to gather input from the community, and then he can move on to making a separate announcement when he feels like it's ready for the public eye.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 24, 2023, 09:56:41 AM
I don't think so. I think that all gamblers are aware that they cannot win constantly from gambling. Even the professionals. But what differentiate them from amateur and occasional gamblers, who mostly gamble just for fun,is that they know how to manage their money, and they know how to lose. They are aware of the risks involved and they understand the odds and the laws of probability. But this is only possible in gambling where at least a certain amount of skill is involved, for example poker, sports betting and the like. This is not possible in purely luck-based games. For example, I don't think that professional gamblers play lotteries. They are not going to waste their time on something where they have no control over what happens.
1056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have been gone for a while on: June 23, 2023, 11:34:07 PM
Just like some others have already asked, I'm also curious. OP, what happened to your main account? The one you allegedly used the forum with until 2020. Have you lost access? Why don't you try to recover it? If you have lost your password or access to your email address, there are still methods you can use to recover your old account.
1057  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you start your posting life as a newbie??? only for full mem, Sr and leg on: June 23, 2023, 11:28:29 PM
I don't think there is any magic behind this. This is a forum, like many other forums that exist online. You should get involved in discussions on topics that interest you. Asking and answering questions, helping and giving advice to other members where you can, expressing your opinion... Don't worry if you don't have all the answers right away, nobody expects you to be an expert from the start. The key is to engage, learn, and contribute in a way that feels comfortable to you. Over time, as your knowledge grows, you'll naturally feel more confident in actively participating in discussions.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: l0tt0.com - provably fair conversation on: June 22, 2023, 09:53:59 PM
From my understanding, even though you may believe that your number selection system is fair (given that you developed the code and are aware of the underlying logic), you cannot provide conclusive evidence to a neutral observer. As a result, the system lacks provable fairness. A truly provably fair mechanism always includes a verifiable component, which is currently absent in your system.

I understand that's not what you wanted to hear, but that's how I see it.
1059  Economy / Reputation / Re: I've been hacked (Electrum 4.3.2) on: June 20, 2023, 11:11:07 PM
Julerz12, you've turned a potentially disastrous situation into an inspiring tale of redemption. It takes courage to face our mistakes and make things right, especially when faced with a hefty financial mess. This serves as a reminder that honorable individuals still exist, and your efforts should be recognized. Keep moving forward with your head held high, knowing that you've earned the respect.

Also, kudos to YoMix and Coinomize for their understanding and support. As someone already mentioned, that's definitely good PR!
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 19, 2023, 03:36:40 PM
People who make a living on gambling have knowledge and know-how to deduct the influence of bad luck. Never easy. I just believe this kind of group exist and will grow bigger.
Lol. This is easily one of the dumbest statements that I have ever heard in my life. Luck is totally random newbie. Improve your brainpower!

Hahaha! There's quite a bit of that going around in this thread. I think the guy is just trolling here. He is certainly not a gambler, let alone a professional one.
