The thing I don't like about Trezor is that it isn't mobile. I need a laptop or desktop to use it...not very good for on the road transacting. But if you use it for your vault, I guess it's a great option.

A bacon wallet is a good place to start, lots of pockets to keep your private keys sorted and a window behind which to stash your QR for payments.

Thanks for the detail and clarification!

What happened to the original metallic looking cases for Trezor wallets?
There's a silver metallic version in a pic that keeps floating around...

You don't sell the metal/aluminum version any more? If so...let me know, very interested.
Thanks.

Case looks promising, but $200 to pre-order something that doesn't exist yet is WAY too much. Why make the potential customer base take on all the risk here? What assurances exist to guarantee pre-orders will be filled? More importantly, why is Case worth such a high premium? A similar gadget, called Coin, was in a similar "pre-order now" situation (albeit it had nothing to do with Bitcoin) and that company has just disappeared...with all the early adopter cash in hand.

I genuinely hope you do complete your forum and I would certainly check it out, but I'm not sure how well it will work but I'm very interested to see if it will and how it does. If it's far superior to this one then I'm sure it will catch on. Again, good luck with it.
I agree that you are probably right that getting rid of ad-sigs won't bring this forum back to what it was like in 2011/2012. A lot of people that used to contribute a lot of interesting stuff have left between 2013 and 2014 (whether they left due to the poorer quality content is hard to say). The good people that left in 2013 and 2014 had to have gone somewhere, right? All of them didn't just decide to not participate in bitcoin-related conversation online. So where do you think they went - Reddit? Or maybe the really stayed and their contributions are being drowned out by the increased volume and noise? Good luck with your forum, hopefully it serves the right purpose for you and others. P.S. CIYAM, I hope I'm not on your ignore list so you can see this. Genuine questions deserve genuine answers...

No I'm not Quickseller, obviously. The people who say things like that are usually after information, either about me or the other person. They want me or someone else who knows me to say "Well no I/he couldn't be Quickseller because..." It's an obvious ploy, and not one I fall for.
I never excluded him.
So you're saying QS is a "him"...interesting, verrrry interesting. The details are all falling in place now... Are staff/moderator positions granted purely through nomination or invite? Seems appropriate to do it that way, just curious. And am in no way implying that I'd want to eye such a position...let's just get that out there.

Nice, Wal-Mart next?
It's only a matter of time before shareholders start asking for the revenue being thrown away to credit card companies.

I think currently the best (theoretically as payment may vary) campaign is PlayTodos Campaign as you can earn even 0.002 for one post. The best montly campaign is probably Rolling.io (0.16BTC) campaign and weekly or bi weekly is either BitBingo (up to 0.09 per 2 weeks) or Pachinko and Coinroyale 0.04 per week for 20posts.
This guy is quoting prices that you, the OP, won't be eligible for at the Sr. Member rank. Don't let the hype get you worked up, a lot of campaigns promise high rates but they you realize it's only for a select few. Good luck.

Are Bit-X ( https://bit-x.com/) and Bit-X Financial Corp. ( https://digatrade.com/pages/about), who own Digatrade the same company? I couldn't find any info that clearly says Bit-X Financial Corp. is different form the Bit-X we see on signature campaigns here. Thanks.

So let's stop bitching about it and figure out how to join their game? Influence from within!
OR...let's figure out when the govrnment will forgive the debt they've created.

Any thoughts from anyone on why this may be happening?
A lot of the press on religion is negative - because negative sells news - but could this influence people's intention of how much religion they allow in their world, particularly when religion is (in the press) seen so often alongside violent activities, i.e., war and terrorism?

https://blog.coinbase.com/2015/07/15/bitcoin-trends-in-1h-2015/Here's a link to the Coinbase Blog article that discusses trends they've seen in the Bitcoin market for the first half of 2015. Not surprisingly, the blog article leads with the volatility in price we've experienced for these past 6 months. There's a lot of other interesting findings...give it a read!

there is no real correlation between being rich and having tons of bitcoin that now, would make you rich but that previously weren't worth so much
if your income is much greater than your expenditures(with a minimum of 1k salary), say x2-x5-x10, it is evident that you're very wealthy
I disagree, there is a correlation between being rich and having tons of bitcoin. If you have enough bitcoin to make you rich in the fiat terms (within which you live), then you are bitcoin rich. Don't downplay your wealth here, Amph, you're living light with a big BTCankroll...celebrate it! P.S., just don't forget to let people know that your wealth is sponsored by Bit-X!

I hope they revamp their 36,000 satoshi menu to actually include good items that (really) only cost $1.

I will make it this evening...where do I post it was always my question though. Services? Service discussion?
Did this ever happen? So much to say...so few Casascius sales threads to hijack! Quicksilver, glad you potentially found a buyer. Nubbins talk about "more coins, fresh from another roll" is badass talk. The fact that people have rolls of these coins doesn't surprise me, it "wows" me...which I had been conscious in 2010.

Sorry for being dense here, what does the summer solstice in the Northern and Southern hemispheres have to do with this?
Thanks.

Also, given that bitcoin can be divided into the millions or whatever 8 decimal places is you open your crowdfunding opportunity to a lot more people from a wider range of wealth backgrounds. Using bitcoin, all of a sudden crowdfunding can be done for people in developing countries where a lot of people live for under $2 a day and the target balance of a fund may be only a few dollars.
