loving this....decided to day trade my 3.7m stake... now sitting on 6.1m Mint from the last 1 hour alone...
What do i want? BTC or MINT? easy answer... mint... Because i think over time.. due to it PoS nature... everyone is gonna lock down their mint in their wallet.. and we wont be seeing so many millions up for grabs...
Hope fully i will get to my goal of 10m and then sell of the excess for profit...
I'm too worried if I try daytrading the price will spike again and not come back down. Read up on Elliot Wave Principle. Study it. Then use it in context of everything else that goes on. A smart trader is a rich trader. Oh, and do use the graphs. They're there for a reason.  We live in a world of highly deluded traders. I'm okay with technical analysis but in all frankness, Elliot Wave Principle is a lot of mumbo jumbo. Keep it simple. Moving averages, crossovers if you want, maybe stochastics if you are feeling brave. None of these necessarily "works" in itself. But through experience you can put them all together in a certain way, creating a "road map" through which to interpret the price action when it has already occurred. Why did they collectively panic, Nullu? Because the Elliott Wave Theory said so! ... Right. I did quite clearly say "in context". Anyone blindly following Elliot Wave Theory will find themselves quickly very poor. I rely mostly on my own judgement, but Elliot Wave has helped me a great deal in spotting trends. The very fact that we live in a world of "highly deluded traders" that follow such principles is exactly why it can be exploited. You don't have to follow Elliot Wave Principle to profit from it. You just have to watch everyone else that does. |

It would be nice to have some night cityscape as the background at the top instead of a plain black background. Something with a blue tint to it. If you can imagine that, I think it would look great.

There is going to be much raging in this thread after orders re-open. Personally I would put a cooldown in effect before trades could be made to allow people to cancel/change their orders, but oh well.
Nothing is stopping people from canceling their orders right now. My mistake. If that's the case then no issue. People should always monitor their buy/sells. |

Anyone who escrows should have a decent level of trust. No exceptions really. No disrespect to anyone, but we're talking a lot of BTC here. There are plenty of big escrowers on the forum with high levels of trust. I would suggest one of those.
Even with my trust I wouldn't consider that sufficient. Yes, I know I'm trustworthy, but would I trust someone else with my level of trust to keep that much potential BTC safe? No.
If this is a legit enterprise, then don't let it all fall apart by someone running off with the development funds.

So, consider me "the new guy" lol. And, yes, I code in PHP and C# myself. A little python as well I also code in C++ and Java. Although I'm a bit rusty on those.  Never done C++ and Java is the devil lol. Java taught me Object Oriented Programming, but when it got down to it, I hated it. Too verbose of a language. OOP in C++ is just wonderful. Operator Overloading is the boss. I'll always come back to C++ because although there's more to manage, it's a more compact and efficient language in my opinion. Ok, so you have to manage your own memory. It's really not that difficult with OOP. |

Is there a way to implement a window in the wallet for when sending a transaction to check if there is a fee? If not, ask the user to attach a fee so the miners get paid?
I think you could have a default minimum when the fee is zero. Checking fees may also be possible, but it depends if you can peek to check a txfee before you have to send any coins. As long as you have a default minimum it should be ok. |

Clearly some pumping going on. All I will say is be smart. The price will go higher than this, but it will happen in waves. We're going to go a lot higher, but do not expect these prices to rise continually like this. I'm watching the buy walls as they move. I know what's going on. The only question is how high they can go. Crazy pump going on, but why? Look at the volume, and the activity in this thread. Money to be made if you have the BTC to afford it. Mint will grow big because of it, as the pumping is causing the floor price to increase too. Also increases the hashrate and brings more players in. We're on our way. Yup  ....someones trying to shake out the weak hands. Here comes the drop I think. |
