1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 06, 2020, 04:40:54 AM
Khabib already answered. He does not want to fight Conor for any price. I reckon Conor should prove his greatness again before he can make Khabib look at him hehehe. I am the most loyal Conor fan, however, the fight versus Cowboy is nothing to make him rematch Khabib.
Indeed, McGregor must climb from bottom to top before facing the camp once again. Well, that's good for him anyway to keep his fire burning Cheesy. The feeling of being an underdog is the best fuel for him to grind more (and I hope not only on striking but now mainly on ground lol). I also don't think beating Cowboy is enough for him to get a title shot. Don't get me wrong, I'm also a fan of Cowboy but let's admit that he is not a worthy opponent anymore due to his age maybe Grin. If Conor really want to face Khabib again, he should kill bigger fish like Ferguson or at least impress the crowd by defeating fighters in featherweight division.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: February 05, 2020, 11:01:50 PM
Vasyl Lomachenko is the best technical boxer we have seen in a very long time and Teofimo Lopez is a young boxer and i feel he will be having a hard time in this fight and i am always going with Vasyl Lomachenko to win the fight but the problem is that we might not the best odds because of the inexperience level of the opponent but i am expecting an entertaining fight from Lomachenko.
I really like Lomachenko, for me he has the speed and power like prime Pacquiao had with a little bit boastfulness like Mayorga had Grin. He absolutely ebtertains me every time I watch his fight especially when he is taunting his opponent so no doubt why he got greater odds. I also vote for Lomachenko, given that he will avoid such funny acts right now. He should be very careful because facing Lopez isn'nt a joke either, he also didn't became a champion for no reason Smiley.
1123  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 05, 2020, 05:34:27 AM
As the virus spread, the BTC price grew sharply, reaching $9,439 on January 28, 2019. And always know the effect on the change of Bitcoin always followed by the different crypto markets like Ethereum, bitcoin, BTCH, etc The Question Remain to the community will the CORONA VIRUS  favor Crypto Market.
When we are talking about a country's economy, this kind of epidemic definitely ruin their economy. Imagine, their country freeze for a while; the businesses are on halt, the financing is affected and as well as manpower. So technically speaking, their economy in this time is on decline for sure. However, the crypto market is not working the same with the other, it will not be affected or at least only got minimal damage since it exists in th Internet. Actually this might be in favor of crypto because Chinese investors (whether whales or small) are likely forced to isolate inside their rooms and face the monitor which means more time for them to deal with crypto Smiley.
1124  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: February 04, 2020, 11:57:28 PM
<snip...>

Fixing a limit into which how many bitcoins should I earn only hampers my potential of earning more. The right mindset would be earning as much as bitcoin to provide for your needs and for the future.
Indeed. Besides, there's no rule limiting us that we only should have a certain amount of btc so why feel contented on what you have right now if you can still have more in the first place  Smiley. Yeah it sounds greedy for some of you but I think it's still healthy. This only means that you continue striving despite of the achievements you already achieved. Remember, there's always a room for improvement Smiley.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins do you Hold ? on: February 04, 2020, 01:40:26 PM
So now to my questions:
which coins do you prefer and Hold ?
what do you think about the coins i´ve invested in ?
I only prefer Bitcoin, nothing more nothing less. Before, I also invested to eth but I realized that it is almost the same with btc. Their trends look the same for me so I decide to just invest with the stronger one Grin. Besides, that's the best and safest option for a small long term hodler like me.

And for your second question, you definitely got good coins presuming that you are a daytrader ( I think you really are) because if you are not then you cannot maximize it very well. It's also a good thing somehow that you already sold your Eth because I can feel that it's falldown gets nearer and nearer.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 04, 2020, 07:55:07 AM
Yeah, but 5 years ago,the Bitcoin price was under 1K USD(it was 500-600USD,if I remember correctly) and nobody back in 2014-2015 was expecting Bitcoin to hit a price above 10K USD.
Buying BTC for only $1 every day isn't a very smart choice as well, because of the transaction fees and the simple fact, that no BTC seller will sell you only $1 worth of BTC,because it looks pointless.

Yeah I agree so invest of directly doing crypto savings, do it weekly or monthly Smiley. You could save $1 everyday, put first in a safe place and when it finally accumulates after a month/week then that's the best time to convert it to btc (at least you made the most out of the transaction fee). Do I have a better plan, what fo you guys think Grin?
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Days Left before Bitcoin to be more Scarce on: February 04, 2020, 04:19:08 AM
No need to get discouraged. There is no guarantee that there will be a major bull run this time, just because that was the case during the previous two events. Even during the second half of 2019, a lot of the whales were accumulating Bitcoin, in anticipation of the block reward halving this year. So there is also a chance of the prices crashing once the event happens (just like what happened to Litecoin, after its block reward halving in 2019). If the prices don't spike immediately after the halving event, then a lot many of the investors will start dumping their coins. MY advice is not to worry about what you have done. Rather than that, concentrate on what you are going to do next, in the next few years.
Thanks for the motivation mate, I deeply appreciate it Smiley. Yeah I know there's no 100% assurance that btc's price will skyrocket during/after the halving but I'm pretty sure that tendecies for it to rise is higher than the usual (like everybody feels right now). So you can't blame me if I'm getting a little bit upset right now. Why tons of expenses are on me this first quarter of 2020? Why oh why? What a bad timing Sad.
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Days Left before Bitcoin to be more Scarce on: February 03, 2020, 11:28:35 PM
First Block reward halving (28th November 2012):

For most part of 2012, the exchange rates were hovering around $5 per coin. However a few months before the event, the exchange rates started rising. At the time of the halving event, the price was $12.31 per coin. And within the next 12 months, an ATH of $1,261 per coin was reached.

Second Block reward halving (9th July 2016):

By mid 2015, Bitcoin had lost almost 80% of its value it had attained during the ATH of 2013. However, from this time onwards, the prices began to go up. At the time of the block reward halving, the prices had climbed to $650 per coin from around $220. And within the next 18 months, an ATH of $20,000 per coin was achieved.

I first got my BTC in 2012, when the prices were around $10 per coin. I refrained from selling any of them, during the ATH of 2013. However, I faced a lot of financial crunch during 2015 and had to sell 70% of my coins at around $250. I sold around 10% during 2016-19, and still have the remaining 20%.
Okay, now I more realized how bad my decision is; but I don't have any choice either because I really need money as much as possible at this moment (Actually what I withdraw is still not enough Sad). I just really hope I could catch up, I still have 3 months to save btc again and I think I can still make a profit even a little bit when that time comes. Continue saving everyone, good luck!
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 03, 2020, 03:12:40 PM
I haven't heard some news yet but I don't care either lol. Don't get me wrong, he is a really good player however I'm disappointed how he behaves every time he play. His counterpart in MMA is McGregor IMO — some people loves him and some not Grin.
They should at least give a chance, the suspension has been too long already, it's about time he will be given a chance to play again.
I believe he was playing outside too which I think the PBA organization does not like especially for active players as this could possibly injured them.
Plus, every player signed a contract to PBA so technically speaking they are private talents of the organization mentioned. Hmm, I guess Abueva's suspension will take longer if and only if he really broke a rule upon this action. *Sigh Tsk! What seems right now is that his talent is wasted. Well, that's the consequences of his previous actions, there's no one to blame but only him Sad.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to monetize a bitcoin/cryptocurrency seminar/meeting? on: February 03, 2020, 12:09:53 PM
"If you are good at something, never do it for free", that saying suddenly came into my mind after I read your post. How unfortunate you are to get such bad audience. You know what, we're almost the same (aside from the fact that you got more listeners). I once became active spreading about the wonderful technology of cryptocurrency. I always approach everyone I've known and encourage them to try it too but just like you I got nothing but criticisms and face of doubts. So I understand you if you will monetize the seminars you will conduct from now on so that you can really know on who is the real interested and not Smiley.
1131  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: February 03, 2020, 05:00:24 AM
Holding does not mean you do not use bitcoin and if you really need it, just do it but use it according to your needs because of the existence of bitcoin to improve your life and solve solutions in your finances and economy.
This is exactly what happened to me. I mean, I always tell myself to just keep on holding unless otherwise necessary. And that's what I told my girlfriend as well.

But there are some things that we cannot really control like unexpected but necessary expenses. Recently, I was caught up between the thought of bitcoin halving or paying for my licensure exam. It was quite a hard decision for me. But, my girlfriend, who happens to have spare savings on her bitcoin wallet didn't have any second thoughts on lending me her money. It made me a bit sad that she have to spend her btc now that bitcoin halving is near. But I wouldn't let her deed go to waste.

I'm doing my best to pass the board exam and work for my sig campaign at the same time so I can repay my girlfriend.

Hopefully, I can repay what she lent me before the halving. Grin
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 03, 2020, 02:25:09 AM
Without a doubt because Standhardinger is one of the best players in the PBA now.
I just don't know why the SMB let him go they are for sure the unstoppable duo with Fajardo on the board.
In my own perspective, the Kraken is already enough for the SMB. As you may notice, when Fajardo and CStand are both inside the court, their team are having a hard time to catch up, they are in slow pace due to those both big men and when this happen of course the opposing team take advantage of it by doing fast breaks or extreme ball rotation. Therefore, I agree that he was traded to other team. At least now he can have ample time inside the court which also means more opportunity to gain experience Smiley.
What about the lift with The Beast Abueva are there some news about him?
I haven't heard some news yet but I don't care either lol. Don't get me wrong, he is a really good player however I'm disappointed how he behaves every time he play. His counterpart in MMA is McGregor IMO — some people loves him and some not Grin.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 02, 2020, 01:13:28 PM
What has bitcoin done to me? It was soo huge and it will definitely take long if I will explain it in detail Grin. But to cut the long story short, through bitcoin I able to finance my own thesis, help me to to finish my college; and at this moment it helps me to pay my tuition in the review center I enrolled in and sustain my daily needs while living here in the city as well.

Without bitcoin, I think I'll be just a minimum wage earner for my whole life or could be even worse than that Cheesy.
1134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Blind Person Access Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2020, 05:19:05 AM
First of all, does a blind have a need to use bitcoin or the cryptocurrency as a whole? Nah, I don't think so. If se organizations or people try to give solutions for this problem then I thank them for their good heart. But to be honest, that is not necessary in my opinion. Fiat is the best option which can suit in their situation. Since they're blind, they are only depending on their sense of touch so the money they must use have a physical representation — in short, it should be tangible like coins and paper money Smiley.

The deaf, mute or other handicaps can feasibly use it but for the blind I really doubt.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 01, 2020, 03:11:06 PM
Hmm their line up is not as solid as the Ginebra or SMB but in all fairness they got stronger as CStand added on their team. Well, I also hope they will have a long and consistent run throughout the conference because honestly it's already getting a little bit boring to see SMB, TNT, Meralco, Ginebra, Magnolia (then repeat) in the Finals. I'm craving for new faces because this means new excitement Smiley. I really hope they can now avoid choking during the QuarterFinals.
SMB got the better line up so I don't expect Northport to be in the Finals at the current line up now, even with Bollick and Anthony, this isn't a championship contender team.
So the other teams I mentioned a while ago will be seen again in the Semis? C'mon, I'm hoping not all of them (crossing fingers Grin). I don't know if if I'm only just expecting more in this team or whatsoever but I'm really desperate to see a new champion. I'm a Ginebra fan but it's okay for me if underdog teams will bring home the bacon for now lol.

Though I also feel that their chances of becoming champion are still not enough, but who knows; we have our old saying afterall, "Bilog ang bola" Grin.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 01, 2020, 12:59:30 PM
(....)
I hope that Bollick can play this year already with his team NP. This kid is a good addition to them. If he is healthy then a Big 3 can be created in NP. Bollick, Anthony and CStan Cheesy. Any opinions Cheesy. Just came into my mind.
Good point. Christian Standhardinger is fit to the NorthPort, he will improve his being center on that team especially they have a good line up here, as you said, with Robert Bollick and Sean Anthony, this could be a great team.
One of the team I am looking forward to this upcoming All-Filipino-Cup tournament of the Philippine Basketball Association.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 01, 2020, 09:13:14 AM
Hmm, I'm also wondering what Bones looks like when he was knocked out on the floor or even just making a tap out Huh Actually, the only fighter that I believed before who can do such thing to him is Gustaffsson. In their first fight, Alexander really bring great damage to him but then suddenly a f*cking spinning elbow change the game. What a near miss Grin! I thought he can finally defeat Bones on their rematch but it ended worse. Haaayst! I'm also clueless right now on who's gonna beat him really bad, maybe Adesanya if he go to LHW. What do you guys think.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: February 01, 2020, 07:42:02 AM
Doge Coins best suits the pet shop. Maybe OP can put a logo of Doge coin on the sign board of his shop.  Smiley
You aren't serious about this, are you? There are less people around who have a dogecoin wallet than a bitcoin wallet and using a lesser known altcoin as the only payment method will turn away potential customers.
Why choosing only one where in the first place you can use both Grin. Accepting Dogecoin doesn't necessarily mean you are having lesser chance of getting customers. He can use the logo Doge (not literally copy-paste it because of copyright issues but use it as an inspiration) for it brings charm and appeal for the customers bit mainly use bitcoin as a form of crypto payment. What dou you think? That's a better idea, isn't it. What I just hope is that OP is willing to hold doge and know the risks of crypto investing. Because if he will only do all this things just for the sake of having a unique pet shop then he might loss in the long run Cheesy.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: February 01, 2020, 06:08:39 AM
I am hearing this ever since 2014, when they conducted the Ethereum ICO. Back then, I decided against participating in the ICO, because I believed that ETH had no chance of offering any competition to BTC. Earlier (in 2013) I had invested in coins such as LTC and NMC. These coins gave me good returns, but in 2014 they went down and the future prospects were not looking great. Anyway, it was a bad decision to not invest in ETH back then. But that said, I expect the market share of Ethereum to go further down in the coming years. There are better platforms out there if someone want to go for smart contracts. And the smart contract sector has not really taken off, as much as some of us would have liked.
I agree on you mate, I invested before to Eth and I find it profitable somehow but in today's competition where lots of coins woth better features are entering, I felt that Eth's competitiveness is decreasing that's why I pull out and just stick with bitcoin. I guess I made a right decision after all Smiley.

Going back to the main question, I think nothing significant will happen if Eth become the new rank 1 (though slightly impossible to happen) aside that it will now get more adoptions than before and maybe this forum will change too like adding Ethereum Discussion etc. etc. I don't know just a maybe Grin.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: January 31, 2020, 11:33:55 PM
I really don't think these Bantamweight fighters get enough admiration.
Maybe yes, maybe no. Nevertheless these fighters are the next generation of boxing superstars so for sure it's still a long journey for them. But I believe they can be as big as the legends we knew today Smiley.
I'd love to see a heavyweight that could really move like a lightweight, that would be something special.
Not only special but of of this world definitely Grin. How on Earth it would be possible?! I mean mass is inversely proportional with speed, as our weight increases the tendency of our speed decreases. Even physique heavyweights I know like AJ is also not as fast as I expected Grin.
