1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 11, 2020, 05:31:06 PM
I never tried it before I would rather have fun playing it on gambling site than wait for the result on ponzi scheme.
Why waste time and money on Ponzi schemes when we could do it quicker in gambling and we could enjoy it too.

I broadly agree to this as the emotions and feelings attached to our money and our own made bets are much more than waiting on someone to put the money in and the scammer sends us the money and keeps it going on till he gets out of funds, then everything over. At least we do not feel that bad when we lose our money because of our bad bet in gambling, but giving it straight away in the hands of a scammer feels like we are fools.
1122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 10, 2020, 11:58:38 PM
The daily chart shows you have missed the train already but it is very likely that btc will be above 17k because it is very near target if I compare it with the support at @13700. All traders who are fomo'ing in this market shows that we are in for some huge price action and if a drop happens, it will be bigger than the pump. So they keep on buying and the whales too are eating up some high volume sell candles.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 10, 2020, 10:27:34 PM
I did it but will never do it because it is against my ethics now to support a scam and a ponzi scam is a big loss for everyone involved. Trying it is also stupid when we know there is no guarantee that we will ever see our money back. It is good to lose it on your own than giving it to someone else to lose it. Hurts our ego. And for such scam games, you cannot rely on the site only and need to bring some more people to that site to put yourself in profit, which means you will need to break your closed one's trust.
1124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How btc price correction make things right. And what you should be aware of. on: November 06, 2020, 11:00:06 PM
Traders who are buying shitcoins in the 'hopes' of seeing them in the sky one day are just blowing air in cold milk. Bitcoin brought shitcoins down and will keep them down no matter how gradually these shitcoins try to catch up with the present bull run. Being aware of the old coins which were taken to sky and then we're brought down and did not recover during any phases, should not be bought under any circumstances.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: this is the time for Ethereum on: November 06, 2020, 10:42:05 PM
Bitcoin's bullishness threw the flags down and started a race among the alts for which one will be highest in regards to gaining profits to its holders. This happened in 2017 and is happening again now, and Eth still looks standing and waiting to react on the market sentiments till 2.0 rolls out as Vitalik sent his fortune to 2.0 for staking and we might hear some good news soon.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 06, 2020, 09:58:55 PM
Even betting with the amount you afford to lose, you can't minimize your losses. A loss is a loss no matter the amount involved. Just count the total amount wagered you bet with the amount you afford to lose and you will realize it's not working and something is wrong.

I have a different approach to this. If you do not bet what you cannot afford to lose, you will lose less. Less loss means loss minimized. And wagered bet amount is just the collective total from the first till the last bet we make. If you said it for just one bet, then I think it is the same and if you can afford it to lose, means there is no need of thinking about loss.

Quote
And do not bet more than 1% of the bankroll? What if you afford to lose 1% of it?

Then you will have 99% still available to recover it. Least loss means less risk of losing more and higher chances of gaining it back. Do you bet 100% of your bankroll in 1 bet? Can you afford to lose it?

Quote
But for other pointers you mentioned, I agree especially with betting with proper knowledge. We don't just easily pick a random bet right?

I did not point out anybody picking random bets, I said that when a gambler bets, he should be in complete senses of what he is betting at. This increases the winning chance more. Some gamblers are addicted to gambling and they bet on anything without any knowledge by making some wild guesses based on luck only.
1127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will There Be a New ATH in 2020? on: November 06, 2020, 09:49:35 PM
Back in December of 2017, Bitcoin pumped over $1500 in 24 hours. On November 6 of 2020 it did the same. Is the story repeating itself? What do you think? Will There Be a New ATH in 2020?

It rejected from the area I was speculating in my mind about, and it was near $16000. Speculation arises specs and so it is true that btc has already done high too quick, I am not a bear but anything that goes this high without any basis and just speculation, will one day crash just as we see with some stocks. It has to stop at some area and relax, then that would be organic. What happened good with the rise in price? I saw negative effects instead. Fee rose to high costs, prone to quick dump and happened already when it was drawn down $600 from 14200 to 13600 and the same is happening after the rejection from $16k. I see $14500 as a resistance turned support and if it will fall, it will touch this area.
1128  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ethereyum mining robot system looking for social media promoters on: November 06, 2020, 09:15:25 PM
project is legit.

Well, can you have the owner come here and explain how it is legit?   I'd like to know how you make any profit paying out those numbers.   Tell us the size of your reserve fund so we know how long it will be until your scheme collapses...

i was talking with owner and she said the reserve funds are held by uk registrated company and its over 50,000 pounds so all good here

There are some things which sound fishy as well as ridiculous :-

- If you are not the owner, who are you to guarantee that we are going to get paid?
- Why didn't the owner post ANN about it? Is it an ad-revenue website?
- And a personal one, when you 'or your owner' can't trust us and pay upfront here, how do you expect us to invest $22 (0.05 Eth = $22 while writing) in the website you are suggesting here?

All this looks nothing but what I am used to see on telegram - investment scums.
1129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Service Solves This Problem on: November 06, 2020, 08:56:34 PM
Why don't you manage your own channel of OTC instead? That way, you will not need to wait for the funds to go through your account and reach the exchange because if you are an established entity, I think your opposite parties will go for trades where they will lock the trade for some time and wait for you to manage sending them the funds. I know it is not an easy task, but can be achieved if you put in some efforts. This applies to any volume sizes.
1130  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Casino! on: November 06, 2020, 08:12:41 PM
Is this problem solved already? It is just bad if players are forced to do KYC for small amount of withdrawal while admin says that there wont be any KYC for crypto players.
Better to wait for clarification of this issue first for those who want to play in this site. Otherwise, we will face the same withdrawal issue due to the KYC.

Kyc is a part of many websites so there is nothing wrong if they asked for it. What they did wrong was, not keeping up with their words and doing this straight away. If the kyc was not going to be asked to Bitcointalk members, then they should have taken care of it either by giving a special promo code to the members here to use while registering, which could let them categorize other users and Bitcointalk members or they could ask users who came there from Bitcointalk, to pm them their username on the site.
1131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading hours on: November 06, 2020, 07:58:53 PM
Because when people of a certain market area wake up, they don't start trading stocks alone but their eyes are on crypto too as crypto is also a big market now. I have seen high volatility during US open and London open, and there comes a small yet considerable bullish candle which can be traded with leverage and it can gain some percentage to your portfolio.
1132  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: November 06, 2020, 04:31:36 PM
As we explained. The value of any cryptocurrency will be credited and remains just as we received it. For example you send 150$ worth of bitcoin with exchange rate 15k/ BTC at the time you sent them.
You will be credited 150$ the amount we credit is based on the amount we receive when you sent it regardless of the amount at the time of confirmation.

I am glad that it is credited based on the sent time and not the confirmation time. Everyone who did not know it, I think they got their answer already.

We will appreciate it if a couple people can go on the sportsbook. Select any of the the top leagues and share their limits. We want to close the limit issue once and for all.

The country factor is amazing while deciding limits for a user.  Grin
I did not know that there are a lot of factors that come into place when limits are set by AI for us, so busy of AI to handle each user simultaneously.

Finally, as for @Arcas he is nothing but another alt of game protect. Seems his ecoin or whatever account has been ban now so, he is going all out and spamming us. Its just a matter of time before this also gets banned.

Pity of him, he always tries to ruin a casino's name and expects that the casino may offer him some compensation to shut up. What a clown!  Cheesy
1133  Economy / Services / Re: we know how hard is to be newbie and struggle to earn money online solution is h on: November 06, 2020, 02:24:09 PM
And what about if your projects turn out to be scams later? Just for your attractive percentages, should we put our reputation on stake? Your trust value and ratings speak a lot about your 'ponzi promotion' which you represent here as 'projects'. People who will join you will be either newbies or those who don't bother about getting called a scammer when your project does the evil to everyone.
1134  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: November 06, 2020, 01:47:30 PM
@betnomi, don't let the complains go unheard! Respond to everyone as it will only harm your reputation if you do not reply to them. I am also concerned a bit about limits. I know I don't bet big but the amount in USD cannot be higher when odds are big, why so?

I saw your conversation with LimLims and would like to more correctly ask the question that they asked here.

If I deposit BTC0.01 and the price of btc at that time is $15k and I get a confirmation after 15 minutes and the price went down to $14k, then:

Will the btc be credited in USD based on the time they were sent at? (Means $150 will be credited)?

Or will the btc be credited in USD based on the time they were confirmed at? (Means $140 will be credited)?

This is the correct way of that question and please answer this to remove any confusions we have in our mind.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 06, 2020, 01:24:09 PM
Nobody can give you tips for long term winnings, but I can help you with minimizing losses:

- Do not bet what you cannot afford to lose
- Do not bet on games you don't know about
- Do not bet on games of which you don't have enough knowledge about the players, their playing style and their possibility of playing well in the games based on their form
- Do not bet more than 1% of your total bankroll per game
1136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 10:50:09 PM
Such a coincidence to see this today as I received one of my neighbor's call in which she talked to me for an hour over phone, and she asked me about btc in between and I told her why didn't she invest when I asked her to. She engaged into a meaningful discussion with me about btc and all other aspects of it and talked around half an hour about crypto only. This price rise will surely bring more people in crypto because after PayPal's announcement, it seems btc is very happy with the type of mass adoption it is getting.
1137  Other / Meta / Re: Why aren't avatar ad clickable? on: November 05, 2020, 10:13:47 PM
Pleasure?  Cheesy
There is no such benefit tbh, but when you see an avatar that attracts you and if it has some advertising material involved into it, the user who sees it, will surely try to fetch out more information about it. A company pays you to advertise their signature, but an avatar adds the glow that misses in the signature. In some campaigns where avatar is not compulsory, users either put their own avatar to give a message through it to the community or wait till someone purchase it. This brings some benefit to users whose avatars are taken on rent.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the top 10 btc wallets hacked? on: November 05, 2020, 10:03:32 PM
Isn't it coincidental that the price of bitcoin reaches $15,000 and we have these movement of wallets? But that would be another conspiracy theory if we're going to connect this move to the price action of bitcoin.
Whichever is the real thing behind these moves, the wallets and the price, only one feeling that we're having is to happily seeing it moves to another level which is the $16,000.

Nothing is coincidental because all the news surrounding the crypto field were mostly positive but I was quite surprised how markets didn't react to the news that came about the BTC69k btc move when it was published 'without any proof of a hack or a possession of Gov'. Or do you think that the price was initially getting down when it rejected $14200 and came down $500 in some hours?

Indeed, usually  coins are sent to multiple wallets after a hack. From my own experience such weird movement could be one of two things: someone moving funds in a more secure wallet or just to show he has access so can call CSW a fraud

These coins have nothing to do with Satoshi coins, so how can CSW be called off a fraud here? I don't support him either, but these coins are not from Satoshi's treasure.

My apologies to everyone, I think this move was either due to 2 reasons:
  • Sent them to a btc buyer in an OTC deal where they tested first by sending 1 btc to make sure they don't send it to the wrong place and then the remaining ones, or
  • Sent them to their own 'new wallet' to secure their coins in a SegWit environment and take the advantage of cheap fee later.  Grin

Just a quick note on this - https://cryptoadventure.org/the-us-government-seized-69369-bitcoins-worth-1-billion/

According to Bloomberg's report, these coins were seized by the US government and it is confirmed that the coins were not hacked.
1140  Economy / Gambling / Re: Find out about the Best Bitcoin Casinos or any other Casinos ;) on: November 05, 2020, 06:06:54 PM
This kind of review sites does not really care about such big scam site as the main focus of the owner/admin is just to gain referrals.
Aside from 1xbet, there is also Bitstarz listed as one of the best casinos with a rating of 9.2 while in fact Bitstarz has bad reputation in this forum.
There are also many names under the category of bitcoin casinos that I have never even heard before.
I'm curious how the admin of this review sites found those casinos but I guess it is being done by random google search only.

Or it looks like the admin is not aware of the websites they are referring people to and just adding anything to their website to make a quick buck. They look immature and did not do any research behind the websites they have advertised there 'or they may have got paid from these scammers, who gives a damn about quality when they are habitual of getting paid pennies'. This is not adding up anything @Op, please "review" your website and the websites you have added there, don't mislead people to go to scam casinos because you may make some money right now, but you will eventually see the results not so good in the near future for running behind money and doing this.
