1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Official "repitela is a nazi asshole douchebag turd thread" on: September 10, 2014, 05:19:01 AM

Hi, I am rpietila. Welcome to my first thread on altcoins. I have been a Bitcoin owner since 2011 but never owned any alts, until I bought some MRO after it hit the exchange last week.

The rules of this thread are very strict, as always in my threads:

- There is no freedom of speech. The topic is altcoins, but I also want that it stays in a level that is possible and interesting to read for a busy Bitcoin holder that does not care about alts. I know how it feels to be a busy Bitcoin holder, so I steer the discussion to the maximum benefit for me, and for my readers.

- Which alts can be discussed, is up to me. Mentioning an alt after that specific alt has been banned from a thread results in a ban for you. If you do not obey my ban from the thread, historically you have had 100% chance to be banned from the forum as a result. Don't try your luck.

- Posts may be deleted for whatever reason. Deletion does not necessarily mean that the post was offensive. It may also have been too long quote (in which case either the original, or the reply may be pruned), repetition of yours or somebody else's point, or anything else.

- Moderating actions are written in red. Others are not allowed to use red.

rpietila -- ALTCOIN Wannabe-Hitler 2.0 !

MONERO above all in the world !

still got questions?  Kiss

nooo Risto it ain't self-moderated this time, you can't delete it Cheesy

Oh my.  Never saw that post.  Not the best way to introduce yourself that's for sure.

Are you any of the things you posted in the title of this thread?  I don't know and I really don't care.  What does any of that have to do with me?  That's the way I look at it.

I will say one thing.  If there are people that think you are any of those things you've likely just convinced them further.

If you're so well off why do you waste your time with this?  Don't have anything more rewarding to do?  No young ladies to chase?  Or do you like playing king over a kingdom of peasants?  If I had the wealth that you supposedly have I certainly wouldn't be spending so much time with this if any at all.  I guess some people just need their ego's stroked.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | DarkSend+ Is Live! on: September 10, 2014, 03:18:24 AM

Lies don't get a useful response here.

Being dumb as shit is nobody's fault but your own. Plenty of people use Linux other than devs and pals. Sorry you're a fucking moron. Wait, no, I'm not sorry. It's your own fault. The last thing a real dev needs is a bunch of barely-human clowns reporting bugs that aren't bugs cuz their winblows is full of spyware and they don't even know what that means... It's easy to shitclone a tested heap of software with a new abbreviation. DRK is not this.

I read your mind and have served you the plate of dicks you wanted. Eat them. EAT THE DICKS!

wow, i copied that stuff about darkcoin being instamined from somewhere another thread so i am not the OP. I originally thought it was FUD. However your response now gives me doubts about your closet sexuality and this coin. If it was instamined what happened to all those coins? How did the dev repair the problem?

The best thing to do with this loser is just ignore it and not engage in it's childish behaviour.  I'm sure that the majority of respectable people involved in Darkcoin wish it would just go away.  But there is really nothing they can do about it.  I've noticed that it's mostly ignored by everyone.  I should have just laughed at it's posts and done the same.

As for your question regarding the information you found.  Is it true?  Well yes to some extent.  But I would just leave that alone.  Everyone knows the truth whether they admit it or not.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | DarkSend+ Is Live! on: September 10, 2014, 02:46:14 AM
All those guys should care more about how to save their coins (see other threads) instead of trolling Darkcoin.  Smiley

For one thing I didn't post anything bad thing about Darkcoin.  So what trolling is going on.

I read many coin threads.  I was reading this and was disgusted by the garbage coming out of your resident trolls mouth.  That's all.

You guys should really work on saving your image from being degraded by the few losers that obviously have severe mental issues.

Have a nice day and good luck with your coin.

So you think that I'm talking about you ? That's weird  Undecided I don't think you ever wrote something bad about Darkcoin, it's your favorite investment if I remember well. Have a nice day too !

My apologies if I misinterpreted your post.  I thought it was directed at me.  I stand corrected.

Someone really should put a muzzle on that mutt.

Edit:

I was supposedly on ignore.  So they are not just an insecure mental case they are a liar as well.

This thread is always good for a laugh.  The poster above is still the shining example of professionalism they've always been and the perfect ambassador for this coin.  Someone reading their posts would run not walk to become part of this community.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blockade [CADE] [1% PoS] [Decentralized DDoS Protection] on: September 10, 2014, 01:50:38 AM
DOS was a great idea, and probably a decent learning experience for Somekindabitcoin, even if the execution was a taller order than he expected (mostly to do with how to program the distributed mitigation tied into a cryptocurrency).

I'll invest a minimum amount in the ICO if my understanding is correct that excess coins will be distributed proportionately amongst original investors (so, for example, I'll get double the CADE for my money if only half of the ICO amount is sold). Alternatively I'm cool if you decide to destroy all coins not sold in the ICO.

I'll also continue to accumulate DOScoin as I have been doing. I'll probably be exchanging a lot of it over to CADE, too.

Good luck with your coin.

Thanks notsofast.

The reason for the initial ipo is to first get the main implementation added which is the functions for the nodes. From what I've been told from other developers, it's going to take a ton of manpower.

So you want to raise 1800 BTC which is currently worth about $855,000 US dollars?

Boolberry promised, Zoidberg delivered  Cool

Everything he says he's going to do he does.

This is great work!

I checked the blockchain file size before I updated and after. This trimmed 4.075977% off of the blockchain on my computer.  It was actually more because I hadn't synced for a day or two before I updated and resynced the blockchain.  BBR already synced faster than the other CN coins and this will just make it that much faster and more usable.  I can't wait to see what future developments you come up with crypto_zoidberg.  Advances in the implementation of the Cryptonote technology like this are the reason that BBR IS the BEST Cryptonote coin.  You have made more significant changes to the original codebase than any other implementation of CN.  It's only a matter of time before that becomes a well known fact within the crypto community and BBR takes its rightful place as the leader among Cryptonote coins.

You deserve some kind of recognition for your hard work so I'm donating another 500 BBR to your dev fund.  BBR transaction# 682e5ea5c373bc8f877189d3b0632c580a384135f8818fd53d6ca5fab417db4c

Keep up the good work!

People need to stop mining...im now earning less than half compared to only a week ago! Smiley

Dont understand the dumping going on over at polo - it seems to be heavily manipulated over there by just 1 guy with buy order totals going from 250 BTC to 60 BTC in the space of 30 seconds.
Holding for a few months at least to see where things go, feeling very confident about BBR atm.

Todays dumpings are part of the effort to discredit BBR, but it seems safe to say that it is not working Wink
It just shows that more than supporting group realizes that BBR tech is worth to be aware of!

I said following several times but i'll say it again, maybe i'll just put it into my signature Smiley
Please solo mine BBR! Use pools only if your mining equipment is ridiculously weak!

I agree.  I'm finding blocks solo mining.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 08, 2014, 06:04:23 PM
Can we know what coins are being considered right now to integrate the supernetwork?

No, that's part of the the main point of the superNET asset. To invest in the coins BEFORE the announcement of it joining the superNET occurs.

Actually that would just be bad for the market. I hope innovative coins are being considered instead of going with the usual anon and stuff coins.

I don't think that will be an issue.  BBR has already been chosen for anon.  I imagine other coins to be added will need to have features other than anon.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency (mandatory upgrade) on: September 08, 2014, 02:53:07 PM
At this point the attack has been handled with neither a persistent fork nor a roll-back.  Well done.

What are the chances for a recurrent attack?

New accounts have warned quite much about it. The Monero devs do their best to prevent attacks, and C_Z is helping also. The community has also shown that even a technically successful attack (fork did happen) does not cause the loss of trust (price trend did not change).

In the long term, we are open to pursue a diplomatic solution to this conflict and I can be a diplomatic middleman if so desired.

"We"? Are you monero's CEO?  Cheesy

Self appointed
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: September 07, 2014, 03:23:01 PM
Now wonder who have interest to weaken both XMR and BBR communities by playing them off against each other...

It is a kiss of DEATH to Bitcoin if some "there" try to quench the "competition".

The Monero camp is composed of large Bitcoin holders and if we collectively withdraw our support, at this point it means a steep dive for Bitcoin.

I did not even mention the possibility that other honest bitcoiners might also want to switch allegiance. I know there are many. Bitcoin attracts scammers but also honest people.

Don't flatter yourself.  You don't have as much influence as you think.

1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 06, 2014, 09:40:36 PM
Rptelia has gone so deep down the xmr rabbit hole that he has lost the credibility he once had. His beef is an xmr - bbr beef.

The number 1 XMR manipulator calling someone else a scam.  Too funny.  He's just mad he sunk so much into XMR  and now he's questioning himself and lashing out at others success.

He needs to realize that the world is larger than just his castle and the polo toolbox with all his fanboys kissing his feet.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 06, 2014, 04:38:27 PM
Yes subSTRATA. Everyone here is very stupid. The creator and those (including me) investing a few bucks over here.

Creator is a very smart guy (one gotta know the job very well to pack craps into seemingly valuable deal and also promote it as such), it is most of you others who are stupid.

If you really want to try and prove a point about something, then providing more information beyond "it's shit and you are stupid for investing in it" is required. Your argument is that of a child who can't formulate an actual argument, so they resort to insults instead.

I'd honestly be interested in some sort of actual, rational debate as to why this whole thing is a bad idea other than "it's a crap asset of bundled crap", because that does not actually make any sense to me.

There is nothing rational in the crypto world.   What should make sense doesn't, what should fail succeeds, what should succeed fails.  One has to just toss logic to the wind and go with your gut.

Why was the first sell from the asset issuer 140 on the NXT exchange? Then the next was 127.
this was my mistake i will be doing a one time sale at 114 to compensate within half hour

please, jl777, just do a makegood for those effected who bought at 140. how can you prevent others from buying at 114? just do a top up for those who bought at 140.
cant solve this
to help the ones that over paid others get some advantage
once things are calm things will be much more stable

IMO this is a mistake jl777! Just send extra tokens to those who paid at 140, otherwise bad blood. if everyone gets to pay 114 for a while, but some don't see that, or don't have NXT, then they are pissed off. If you give benefit to everyone with 114 price, then those who paid 140 will still feel pissed, relatively, they still lose. 114 only to those who paid 140, only way to compensate those people

I paid at  500next, what about me?Huh please make justice, I am going under too much strees!!

It is stated from jl777 himself that we can sell our tokens at bter. Should not be a problem. Everyone that read the OP clearly should know that the price is dynamic and changes everytime linearly. You can't blame people coz u bought high coz u wanna outbid people to get the price cheap. You have yourself to blame

No! its wrong...it can not go from 500 nxt to 127 nxt.!! I want refund of anything it was not 127 nxt now

I think you donīt get it. You didnīt pay James with 500. You someone else who outplayed you.
Ask the other guy for a refund, but this wonīt happen.

That guy should not have been able to sell for 500 to begin with.
I did not expect the million NXT to sell out in one block, by the time my next sell registered it was 2 blocks later
in between people's asks got filled

It's all fixed now.  Just an initial glitch I suppose.  Had me worried there for a second.  Didn't know what was going on.  Anyway, I got my supernet tokens now I can go play for the rest of the day.

This is a mess stop this immediately and refund people. this is not fixed price its changing price all the time!!! Please stop or this is not right!!!! what the hello about the 15 per cent you get for buying first day when the price change it, there was not indication price was going to change!! this is not an ipo!! please refund and start doing it right!!

Why did you buy at 500NXT per token then?

You had to input a buy order isn't it?

I came in and that's the price it was in the exchange I did not put it, I bought thinking it was a fix price for everyone then I went down to 127 next!! this is so unfair!! I bought as soon as possible because of the 15 per cent you get buying first day andnow I lost more than 50 per cent!! this is a joke I feel robbed

Sorry for your loss, but itīs still your fault. Shit happens, just move on

No they shouldn't move on.  They should be refunded.  You don't open an ICO with selling enabled.
