1) Wrong section, this is for bitcoin. Move this to the alt-coin section. 2) Know your SI prefixes: m=milli=10^-3 u=micro=10^-6

Nice, phil! Great idea for picks, when do the picks open/close? Here's hoping you get >.280 BTC!! Schweeeeeet! Looks like you may just do >.280 BTC!!! Far out, phil, you deserve it!

Move this to the altcoin section and I'm sure there will be those who know over there. This is the bitcoin section and GPUs have been obsolete for bitcoin mining for some time now...

Aw hell yeah! Triple Blocktacular with monster fees so far today! Encore!!

A socket connect fail usually means the miner is still going through its speed/temp checks before actually mining. That should only last a few minutes to 20 or so depending on the unit. If it just stays on Socket Connect Failed then there is a bigger problem with the board(s) and they're not coming online for the controller to utilize. Bummer...

Had a strange issue with R4B2. Suddenly no shares were showing up on the pool... Checked the gui when I got home and saw that all pools were alive but the last share sent was over 3 hours previously. Weird, so I did a soft reboot and after the requisite time it spends restarting shares started showing up on the pool again. This was after 56 days running, maybe hit another software bug when running for long periods and some register overflows or something. Love that, keeps it interesting! /sarc

Repost this in the Alt-coin section, this is the Bitcoin section of the forums. I'm sure you'll get more help there.

The DC where my malfunctioning droid R4B4 has been sputtering along at half speed has started the RMA process along with various S9s they have there too. Nice failure rate on these units, hopefully this doesn't take too long...

Considering your hashrate and the timing, I'd think you had a couple dust rewards (which won't go out until someday...) and you now have a couple payments waiting for our next block to confirm them since they are zero cost transactions.
Just a guess, tho. If you want better stats you should setup an account/username and then more info is available from the webpages.

as aarons6 mentioned above, did you check for the infamous hidden space at the end of your pool address url's or usernames? That got me once... Just once!

Is there an issue with S9 Batch 1 on Kano?
If I change the firmware to the most current firmware, will this take care of the issue if there is one?
It's not so much 'on kano' as the fact the kano-san does much statistical analysis of the pool data and it has shown that the S9 units running the v1 firmware seem to have lower luck, so much so it appears to be more than just variance. So he has requested those with S9's running the v1 firmware upgrade to v2.

Funny, the tread is pretty dead because there aren't tons of us complaining about the high failure rate of our new miner (S9 or R4 thread anyone?)
Much like at a dinner table, if there's not a lot of talking the food is good!
