1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt will partner with Starbucks for Bitcoin on: November 03, 2019, 01:41:31 PM
lets just hope starbucks dont charge hefty maker:taker fee's on the exchange rate, because looking at their coffee prices they charge alot of money for a couple spoonfuls of coffee bean
If they are charging a hefty price a couple of spoonful of coffee bean they will be charging a higher premium for bitcoin too, they will be implementing to show the young generation that they are following the technology and this will be another advertising strategy they will be using to promote them as well, because if they do something about bitcoin they get a free global advertisement all over the world, chat boards discussion about them and google search will be higher too, so it is a advertisement strategy in my opinion  Grin.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales Are Selling BTC Before Market Crash: Peter Schiff on: November 03, 2019, 10:16:04 AM
Undeniably price manipulation often happens in unregulated crypto markets. Do you agree in this economist statement or do you oppose? Do you believe that recent price surge is cause by manipulation or natural demand?
If the market is not regulated you are bound to expect some players getting attracted to the market and start to manipulate the market, we have seen those in the stock market in the past and if you find market that have no consequences if they manipulate then they will not hold back and they will try their maximum to extract the best profit they can have.
1183  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-26] The IRS is warning thousands of cryptocurrency holders to pay taxes on: November 02, 2019, 03:14:32 PM
Yeah, it's a bullshit question. Even if you just bought and held, which isn't a taxable event and so wouldn't need to be declared, they still want to know even though its none of their business. If you answer "yes", expect them to hound you every year for the rest of your life. If you answer "no", you are effectively lying on your tax return, which is felony punishable with both thousands of dollars in fines and prison.
So no one will dare to attract a felony charge against them, if any traded in any exchange and your KYC is verified then there is no way you can lie to them as they will be another issue, i am not facing these issues now but in the future we are also expecting this in the future but want to know the possibility of the punishment before revealing what i own Grin.
1184  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: November 02, 2019, 02:10:50 PM
The black market in Argentina offers $ at a premium price of 7%, and you can buy as much as you want regardless of state restrictions.
If there is any restrictions the black market will flourish and that is not a new development, does anyone know any local exchanges where we can trade and take advantage of the situation because the premium amount looks good and now the central bank of Argentina has blocked the purchase of bitcoin with credit cards and as the restrictions increases the premium increases with it.
1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: November 02, 2019, 10:54:53 AM
yes, I have read it, 3 things that I think will be to make the price of bitcoin go up. indeed we must remain optimistic in looking at the future, and this news I think aims to give confidence to everyone. but I myself still doubt if by the end of 2019 the price of bitcoin will be 20k. in two months 2019 will soon be over, could it be that soon? although I doubt it, but I will still wait for it. I hope everything will be realized soon.
A market will not rise instantly without any foundation, you need to expect funds to be invested in the market for the price to move higher and the difference between the last rally and the expected rally is the presence of future traded markets and it will have an impact on the price moving forward. We might see some movements in the market in the coming weeks but it is too early to expect any kind of rally by the year end.
1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: 4 Key Similarities to Previous Bull Market Corrections on: November 02, 2019, 08:38:21 AM
indeed many people have not sold their bitcoin at ATH in 2017,
and are waiting for a new ATH, but from that experience makes us understand how to trade in crypto currencies,
obviously! very different from the rest, hopefully this year bitcoin and altcoin will recover
The people who have not sold the coins when the market reached their all time high last time might not sell even if the market reaches another all time high valuation, some will book their profits and wait for the market to go down and pick them once again and some does not even bother about the market valuation as they are in for the long haul. The alt recover is doubtful as i do not see any huge rally coming up for any of the coins, privacy coins have a hurdle because of regulation and with Litecoin planning to become another privacy coin who knows what the future holds for these coins in terms of legal acceptance in regulated markets.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 01, 2019, 05:21:10 PM
Pakistan team beat CA XI in the warm up match in Australia. This may not be a big news for many of you but for the Pakistanis this is the big news considering the past performance of them. Fakhar and Babar played well on the seaming wickets and Shadab took 3 wickets , look like all of them are coming back in form at the right time.
I know it is a great news for all the Pakistan cricket fans, they have a decent bowling line up and if the batsman put some runs on the board then we will see some competitive matches and that is what we want to see rather than one sided match, Pakistan must improve their fielding too as majority of the teams have improved the fielding aspect but even now Pakistan is messy in the field.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 01, 2019, 02:36:40 PM
Warner is basically one of the most entertaining left handed batsmen I have ever seen. The manner in which he strikes the ball with so much power is something else. This is why Pointing continues to bet on him despite his recent failures.
I still remember the first time i saw Warner coming into the team even without much experience in the domestic circuit and smashing the ball to all parts of the ground and before that Adam Gilchrist was wonderful Klusener and Jayasurya all fascinated me with their power hitting.

In the long term, both Warner and Smith are extraordinary. However, you are forgetting that the West Indian and Indian teams also have their fair share of hard hitters(MSD being one of them). It is going to be a fantastic tournament.
The problem with West Indies is that they lack consistency, they have huge players like Gayle, Pollard, Russel who could change a match in a few overs and Indian players also have great players.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 01, 2019, 12:33:53 PM
And wow Warner didn't get dismissed in all 3 matches in the series
Warner is back in prime form and won three man of the match awards back to back and won the man of the series to show his presence after a long stretch of low scores with an average of 217 in this series as no one was able to get his wicket and if he could continue this form then it will put Australia in prime position to win the next T20 world cup along with England as they too have a strong line up of hard hitters in their team.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 01, 2019, 08:41:13 AM
And SL vs Aus 3rd and the last T-20 of the series. Hope SL wins the last one and avoids a whitewash.
For a change in this match Australia won the ton and elected to field and Srilanka already lost two wickets for 36 runs and if Srilanka can post a big score and pick some quick wickets including the top three batsman then the rest of the players are inexperienced and can put more pressure and win the match, good plan to write down but whether they are able to do that is another story  Cheesy.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 31, 2019, 06:19:07 PM
ROI
I have no idea about the ROI because there were teams that went down after a few seasons and hence i really doubt whether they will be earning a lot of profit to dismiss the team entirely after a few seasons.

now as they are working I am feeling this difference with other leagues are widening and this could be great for IPL like EPL in Europe.
It is really hard to imagine whether the T20 leagues will reach the level of football leagues around the world, when it comes to EPL and other major football leagues there is a much bigger audience around the world but i doubt that can be said about cricket.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 31, 2019, 05:32:33 PM
Only IPL allows so many foreign players. 4 overseas players are allowed in the playing XI for each team, and 8 are allowed in the squad. None of the other T20 leagues allow this many overseas players. The Big Bash League (BBL) allows only two overseas players (both the playing XI and squad). Caribbean Premier League and the Bangladesh Premier League allows 5 overseas players in the squad. Also, the salaries in IPL is much higher than what they get in the other leagues such as the BBL and the CPL.
There is a big difference between IPL and the rest of the leagues and the main difference is the money aspect when it comes to acquiring players and the overall investment to own a team and any investor who wants to spend money needs more options and the BCCI wants to make them happy and hence they allow four foreign players in the playing eleven and with Modi was the inaugural president making those decisions and it was a grand success and it is still continuing as a force to till now and the rest of the leagues started after seeing the success of IPL.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 31, 2019, 04:01:44 PM
Did you observe how Sreesanth behaved right after his ban? He is preparing his comeback now though I feel it is a little too late, but it would be great to see him play again. Coming to Maxwell, I understand your point, but I could notice how over-aggressive he tends to become sometimes.

This is why I felt he was having mental issues from sometime. Certain forms of aggression do suggest mental issues and this was one such example.
I was following his life after the ban, Sreesanth was doing television soap opera and body building and while he was playing he was aggressive in the field and get emotional all the time and i cannot figure out whether someone is having mental break down just by looking at them until he behaves oddly and i did not witnessed that in Maxwell as he was speaking well with the commentators even in the recent matches but when you are a public figure you tend to hide your emotions and Maxwell masked that very well even though he was not in a proper frame of mind.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening? on: October 31, 2019, 02:04:17 PM
I think Litecoin is not dead, it's developing.
The last thing I heard is planning to add anonymous features, such as MimbleWimble protocol integration.
It is a great integration to add privacy to the coin but there is a negative aspect to it because the regulated exchanges will not allow privacy coins to be traded in them because the government does not like to have privacy and it might impact the price of the coin but if you take into account privacy then it is a great implementation.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 31, 2019, 01:19:15 PM
This is why this news is not much of a shocker to me. He is one of the greatest T-20 and ODI cricketers ever and he did the right thing by tackling his mental issues. I do hope he is back in full form(Physically and mentally) before the T-20 World Cup.
If aggression is seen as a mental issue then André Nel and Sreesanth will be admitted in mental hospital by now  Cheesy Tongue  as they were too aggressive while playing cricket and these things happen when you are in a match and it has nothing to do with the mental breakdown because he was aggressive in a few matches, it is really unfortunate to see him going through this state and hopefully he will return in time of the world cup.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 31, 2019, 12:25:23 PM
Money is what makes this space untrustworthy, both crypto rating websites and crypto exchanges don't care if a project is been made to scam people or not as far as money is to be made, scammers too are now smart enough to bribe icorating websites and get listed on coinmarketcap as well, you need to be careful where you put your money and always watchout for money sharks
You cannot trust any review sites nor any rating websites as they take money to have good reviews and we have seen that in the past even celebrities taking money to promote scam and shitty ICO projects, so you really cannot trust all these advertisement and the scammers will find a way to attract investors and be smart enough to understand those and you will save your money, bitcoin is the only coin that can be trusted and not any shitty token projects.

After Shakib's ban another news coming out that Glenn Maxwell known as "The big show" has taken a break from the Cricket due to his Mental problems. i have never seen him angry or sad in the cricket field. it tells us about the pressure in International game or "grass is always greener on the other side".
This is the first player who is taking a break from cricket completely because of mental problems and i am glad he identified his issues and he asked the cricket board for a break and they are supporting him, the way in which he performed in the first T20 and he way he was fielding nor talking during those period you will not identify something was wrong with him, hope he returns and be alright there may be huge pressure or personal issues to get to a stage to take a break like this.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 31, 2019, 06:45:31 AM
Technically he's not new player per se and he featured in fair amount of games in all format. about pressure in media and crowd presence; In this series Stadium going empty so far. for some weird reason CA is not interested in advertising, people don't even know about the match.
Technically he is playing cricket his entire life and so is the reason he is playing international cricket and he knows what to do to dismiss a batsman  Cheesy but the pressure to perform to stay in the team will create these funny moments and even in that instant pressure got the better as nothing was going their way as Australia was dominating them in every department. About the crowds you cannot expect a house full crowd until there is India playing or a major tournament .
1199  Economy / Economics / Re: JUST IN: Chinese Central Bank to Launch Digital Currency Called "DCEP" on: October 31, 2019, 06:06:33 AM
Now that Chinese Government is boldly showing their development in issuing the world’s first state-backed digital currency, will other countries follow the same path? What could be its implications to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
It was expected from the Chinese government because they were embracing the blockchain technology and now they are issuing their state sponsored digital currency and i am expecting more countries coming up with their version of digital currency in the next few years and it will be competing against each other and some might die off eventually as we know what happened to Petro.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV strong push on: October 31, 2019, 04:28:42 AM
Bitcoin SV is up 15% in the last hours. Still predicting to go up today or am I late to the party?
If Bitcoin SV moved that much then the rest of the fork coins also moved that much if you did not notice and bitcoin gained way higher than the rest, there is nothing to predict the exact movement of any coin or token but you need to understand that everything will not move like that all the time. When the price of bitcoin moves higher then the rest of the coins move along and that is also not certain all the time.
