1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 19, 2019, 10:36:03 AM
Who said that when a team beats a much stronger team, they can beat any team they want?
Hahaha, the reason why is because they're now overhyped. People tend to put their trust and support in them right after they defeated a top tier team. Unfortunately, it didn't happened despite of the homecourt adavantage of Dallas but in fairness it was a close match and fun to watch especially on the last 2 minutes of the game. Actually I thought that they can push it into OT but they failed Cheesy. Nonetheless, props for the Celtics and I am glad that Kemba is back.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 19, 2019, 06:45:31 AM
Maybe it is too costly to change  the infrastructure? They would have to recall all fiat and recycle it. Banks would have to revamp their entire system. I don't think that countries are ready for that yet.
Of course, shifting from centralized system into blockchain technology as means of financing could not happen in a snap of a finger. This should go a slow and steady phase if we really want to adopt it. But how can we do this if there are still acting protagonists, if we are not doing small adoptions (like businesses accepting crypto payments) and until now most places in the world are still unaware of bitcoin? Don't get me wrong guys, I know that everyday we're one step closer to our dream but honestly it still seems so far away from us. If you'll ask me if it takes a decade or a score? Nah I don't think so! Ask me again after a century Grin.
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 19, 2019, 05:00:37 AM
you will not be able to stop it if there are people who want to buy Bitcoin and this coin is not bullshit. I know you complain to Bitcoin because you are very stressed or frustrated. you make this excuse because maybe you have already lost a lot of money after investing in Bitcoin and there is no point in you telling people to stop buying Bitcoin because it won't work.
You're so bitter dude, I wonder what bitcoin did to you for you to hate it so much? Most probably you are one of its unsuccessful investors, am I right Grin? Or you hodl eth and try to shill it? Well, it doesn't matter what kind of reason you had. Please stop the hatred and focus on the lesson you learned instead becuse it will not help you at all. Even how hard you create FUDs and say bad comments about bitcoin, it will not cause significant changes. You cannot convince everybody with your way of thinking, so instad of ranting try to figure out your lapses why you failed and start again. Good luck Smiley.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 18, 2019, 11:23:13 PM
Take a look on this stats. Northport is really lack on defense on their recent game same with the second one. For sure, coach Tim Cone already figured out after their lost on game 1
For me the most interesting part there is the huge gap of feild goals and assists between Ginebra and Northport. This only means that their ball rotation is working great, more ball movement means more created spaces thus more shot opportunities. I watched their game yesterday and I'm really impressed with their performance. I hope they could maintain it in Game 4 for them to end already their Semis bracket and make it to the Finals once again Grin. Haaay! Imagine, what an early Christmas gift for the Ginebra fans if ever.
1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: December 18, 2019, 01:52:05 PM
Does gambling have a main purpose, to start with?

Do you believe we are here for a reason?

If you had no time to waste in your life, would you still gamble anyway?

some interesting questions
will love to read your answers.(and more questions)
The purpose of gambling depends from person to person. Maybe his reason is mainly about earning but for you it was just for fun. But whatever reason you got why you're here, learn to respect each other's opinion because we got different journeys in life Smiley.

For your 3rd question, my answer is yes because everyone loves money (who doesn't?). And if there's an opportunity to earn it easily then why not? Grin and I'm willing to take risk for it. But always guard yourself at all times because greed is very hard to beat when it kicks in.
I got into gambling at the time when I needed some extra cash to support my desires. This happened when I was a student and money from my dad was not sufficient for me. Now a days it has changed as I have started earning through a job & I turn to gambling whenever I am bored & need that rush.
Gambling when you need money in rush? That was a courageous move Shocked! How are you doing so far, do you get more winnings than losses during those crisis times?
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: December 18, 2019, 11:30:22 AM
^^ Very nice, everyone is really awaiting this big event early next year. And with so much hype again, this is gonna be huge and I predicted that it will be bigger than the first fight. I do hope that Joshua though will be at the ringside so who ever win this one will just have to call him out, so much drama, lol.
It could probably happen because I believe that every boxer got it's own pride and each one of them have the need to beat down the person they think torn along their way to throne Grin. Whoever win in the rematch, I'm sure that AJ is next. I mean, there are only few strong and interesting boxers in the heavyweight division (I hope Klitschko will come back soon) so why delaying these dream matches if this what people really want. Well, much better if AJ will have a chance to fight Fury and Wilder but if there must be only one then I would go with Wilder vs Joshua. I'm curious if AJ could stay on his feet and resist that heavy puncher until the end Grin.
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 million worth of ETH? on: December 18, 2019, 08:55:27 AM
Quote
Even the “extraordinary terrestrial” himself, Vitalik Buterin, sold his personal 30,000 ETH.
I wish he should have tweeted or something at that time so we also could have sold lol
And then what? You and the rest of us will sell earlier than him. Of course he will not let that happen because the market might fall down rapidly which result to a bad point of exit Grin. He is wise no doubt, but this also means a suffering for small holders like us. Actually, I can't anything right now but to laugh at myself — laughing and questioning why it seems I'm trapped with this miserable market *sigh.
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the Milwaukee Bucks Make history? on: December 18, 2019, 07:50:01 AM
I don't understand why all of a sudden, you guys think that Bucks will make history just because of their 18th game winning streak. Without touching it to at least 30 winnings streak, it shouldn't be a big deal.
Ahmm because they are the current strongest team in the other conference? I guess that's the reason why people tend to think that maybe (just a maybe) there's also a possibility for them to beat or at least equalize what Lakers did Grin.
Miami Heat's 27 winning streaks last 2013 with LBJ, Wade, and Bosh didn't even create rumors about the possible establishing a new record of winning streak. They are way stronger compare to the Bucks 2019.
Simply because they're also as solid as rock back in those days compared to Bucks which only have Giannis as their legit ace. Chill dude, don't take this too seriously Cheesy. Let others enjoy making their own predictions and telling their own insights.
1229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is very bad for the European crypto community! on: December 18, 2019, 12:17:08 AM
It means that they're clearly in a war against decentralization.
Though it was named as an "Anti Money Laundering Directive" and not "Anti Bitcoin Policy", the crypto community is still suffering because of these strict regulations. I'm eager to understand their side, that they only do it to avoid any mischiefs but at soke point I can't rid of my mind that they're slowly killing crypto. So I agree with you somehow, they are now starting a war against it Sad.

I see two sides of the story in here, one is good and one is bad. It's good in a sense that evil doers will now have a reason to stop their bad deeds once and once and for all (unless they want to get jailed) however it seems that the crypto community are choked. Now decide which side weighs greater.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 17, 2019, 11:20:23 PM
In the past in my country (México), people used to bet their parents in a poker hand. Is nuts and people don't do it nowadays, but is a good example about how the gambling adiction can damage the family.
What the hell! This is the most insane story I've heard so far — gambling addiction at it's finest. How come that there will be a person who have the guts to sell his parents where his own blood and flesh are made from Sad. I can't believe it. Well, I'm glad that this kind of shit is not happening already and I hope it will never happen again.

Anyway, If I have to choose between family and gambling of course I'll pick my family. But if my hobby doesn't affect my family relationship at all then it will stay that way. You don't necessarily need to choose only one if it doesn't harm you at all.
1231  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Crypto - New Year's Resolution - Win some Bitcoin! on: December 17, 2019, 03:13:44 PM
How generous mo naman kabayan na magbigay ng .003 btc in total Smiley. Wishing all the best for us guys, maagang pamasko ito para sa atin. So here's my own:

1. Be more patient and accept that all things flow in nature — Mas hindi na ako mageexpect sa na magkaroon ngnew ATH kasi talagang medyo masakit din pag nabigo ka lol. Kung mababa ang market ngayon then so be it and kung tumaas naman ay salamat. I think mas magfofocus na lang muna ako sa present instead of stressing myself out on knoeing what would happen in the future. Natuto na ako this year and ayoko na ulitin next year. For this reason, ikakalma ko lang sarili ko until the bitcoin halving para less hurt if it doesn't bring any good changes in the market.

2. Save more coins — Naging magastos din kasi ako recently, some are unnecessary and some are badly needed naman. I guess it's time to act like a real man Wink, prang early practice na rin sa pagkakaroon ng sariling family.

4. Become more willing to enlighten others about cryprocurrency — I admit na nawalan ako ng gana this year to encourage people around me to try btc due to rejections pero past is past na ika nga. Kung mareject man ulit ay okay lang, I've done may part so the rest is up to them. Besides, sanay na rin ako mareject so why surrendering now hahaha.

For my fellow examinees out there, I know may awa ang Diyos sa atin, just keep reviewing and He will do His part as well Smiley.

Sana may nainspire ako sa mga munti kong sinabi. Advance Merry Christmas sa inyo mgs kabayan Smiley.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 17, 2019, 12:35:56 PM
But they did. This ain't luck anymore.
Those guys are also doing hard work while Luka is gaining more fans. They need to also ride the wave to make it the championship.
Indeed, they prove to themselves and to their supporters that the whole team can still stand even without Luka. They will always be a threat for other teams thus they should watch out. Porzingris is still present; and with the help of Wright, Hardaway, Curry and veteran Barea they can pull this of Cheesy. I hope Luka will recover very soon because whatever we say teh bottom line is they're less strong.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 16, 2019, 01:30:37 PM
Just had to watch again Usman vs Covington fight.
This was one fantastic fight war.
Covington got broken jaw and after that he showed his best performance.
It was close fight but Usman got him in last round with TKO.
I expect to see rematch here
If ther will be a rematch in the near future, for sure Colby will not be as cocky as before due to his loss. I also expect lot of excuses coming from him and will deny his loss. Hahaha, guess who got the last laugh Grin

Anyway, why I saw some comments from FB groups showing their negative sentiments aboutvthe match. Some said that "Colby get robbed", "There's no really a low blow and eye poke happened blah blah", why is that? I mean, I can't see the logic of faking it since the all corners of the octagon are equipped with HD cameras. Regarding about the low blow, to be honest it was not directly hit to his crotch but let's give Usman the benefit of the doubt, we are not the one being kicked Cheesy. On the hand, I saw on the replay that it was a real eye poke, though Colby's fingertip didn't directly poke the eyes of Usman but it's very clear that a part of his finger touched.
1234  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: December 16, 2019, 08:02:43 AM
this year there are only a few moments and the market hasn't shown its reaction, and the market habits at the end of the year are not many transactions that occur, although in 2017 it is different. at least the last 2 weeks at the end of the year we don't expect the market to surge. and I agree if the value of $ 10k is difficult to achieve this year
Sorry to burst the bubble of all solid believers out there but we are now just waiting for the remaining days for this to happen. This year will not end with a bang due to poor market status Sad. I admit that I expect that btc's price will bounce back even -ber months already came and even until this month, but unfortunately it's not. much better for us to start accepting it. Besides, it's not yet the end of the world, year 2020 might be the opposite, who knows Wink? Don't worry too much, there are greater things we could look forward and one of those is the long awaited bitcoin halving. There's always hope for everyone.
1235  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: December 15, 2019, 03:10:14 PM
so much better if we now educate those who are willing to learn (mahirap din kasi yung sa pilitan lol)

Indeed, kaya I specifically said only those who are willing to learn. I know the struggle of convincing others which are not interested at all. So I stop (I guess for the meantime only) sharing my knowledge. I mean, I don't initiate first when discussing about this matter.
1236  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: December 15, 2019, 10:25:43 AM
Of course no one! Simply because it manifests bad image.

Don't get me wrong, ayoko naman syempre na tayo tayo lang ang nakikinabang sa biyaya ng crypto so much better if we now educate those who are willing to learn (mahirap din kasi yung sa pilitan lol). This could be our simple way of helping others and exoanding our community at the same time.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Experience of A Bitcoin User on: December 15, 2019, 06:47:07 AM
There are some issues with the game league of legends before regarding the mining software attached to the game so when you play, you mine crypto, the only difference is that, you aren't the one gaining money but them.
Really? Are they proven guilty and face their consequences at the same time? Actually I never heard of this controversy before. If this is true then why many players are still hooked in LOL despite of the risk? Well, maybe because it was a really addicting game and gamers don't care because their Predator (or other high end PCs) can do the work Grin.
Going back to the main topic, to secure the best application possible that has its feature regulated is to choose the best downloading platform such as appstore and playstore. Do not use the so called "Black Market" for the sake of having free applications in mobile. The same goes with desktop applications, always verify the site first to secure that what you are trying to download is safe and secured.
Why mind going to the black market you are pertaining about if there already free apk downloading sites or cracked files spread in the surface web Grin? Nonetheless, you are right. Only download using legit stores or buy your own if really meceassry so that at the end your privacy won't be compromised Smiley.
1238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: December 15, 2019, 04:11:40 AM
It depend on what price you bought BTC. Those who bought at $20k back in 2017 are getting hit hard when ever there is market correction. but those who bought back when it was still $100 only are busy enjoying the entire game.
Yeah, somehow. Logically, they did a great mistake (though not intended at all) because they bought on a very high price and suffering due to bearish market until now. BUT, I believe that it is not yet over for them, for us, because I believe that btc will bounce back. So whatever point you enter, whether during the bloodbath or ATH, you are still considered safe as long as you remain hodling. Always, remember that 1 BTC remains the same in terms of bitcoin even how hard the market move down. Just change yput way of thinking, don't let such crisis affect you because good things happen for those who patiently wait Smiley.
1239  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: December 14, 2019, 03:02:37 PM
I think if all countries convert to cryptocurrencies, it will be quick and easy to pay. But it will be very difficult to spend daily. Because the value of cryptocurrencies is not small. Not everyone is able to use it in the buying and selling movement.
Sounds promising, isn't it? But in reality it is not as simple as that Grin. Anyway let's assume that at this very moment all of the nations (including rural areas without electricity or at least low tech) are now ready to dump centralization and switch to blockchain technology, how we assigned a store value for every commodity? I mean how can we decide how much btc is equivalent to buy a single apple? That's what I'm thinking about. Maybe some of you may rebutt "That's easy! $1 = .00014 btc = 1 apple" but if that so then what's the essence of shifting if we still use fiat as a basis for our movement — how ironic Roll Eyes.
1240  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin will replace money sa aking palagay ganeto ang mangyayari on: December 14, 2019, 09:25:04 AM
The concept is simple but can be easily perceive, meaning feasible ito. Well, iyan naman talaga ang isa sa pianakacommon na naiisip ng mga tulad nating crypto enthusiasts regarding the topic of how btc will enter the mainstream Cheesy. Let's focused first in short term goals before going further. Mag educate tayo ng kaya nating ieducate, magbusiness and used blockchain tech if kaya upang sa ganoon mas lalapit tayo sa pinapangarap nating mass adoption.
