There are many get-rich quick projects like that for quick gains, the problem is if you are not smart enough to quickly dump and let greed take control hoping to make x5 or so then you will be left with bags to carry,
Good thing about quick profit project like that is sell immediately you made a little profit out of it, don't always expect to make profit in every get-rich-quick project you see here, that can led to a get-rekt-quick experience.

Probably the struggle between miners and Chinese government is one of reason for the drop in price, right the miners and the Chinese government are at loggerheads and the government not willing to back down on their strictness towards miners, and then we have the Joe Biden new tax rate, everything is happening within this period and btc is fighting not to go way below, it is surprising how the price has manage to maintain a position, perhaps we still in the bull season.

You should be in contact with the cmc team to update the new swap project information into their data base to reflect,  contacting them separately from the swapping form will be more effective since they didn't make provisions to such process in the form,  if this isn't done, only the old coin will appear and not the recently swapped one,

I hope you can get complete help from the poloniex customer support but why wait so long before looking into this!  back in 2016 the price of eth was around $165 according to the etherscan compare eth at current price now, that's quite a lot of money if you are able to get them back.

Decentralize exchange has been around for long but still millions of people flock in the direction of cex, why is that? It doesn't matter what uniswap or any other  similar dex bring to the table, those who find binance and pancake swap useful and easy to use will make use of them, that is why options is an essential part of any system, they will coexist, developers will have to include both chains for wider adoption. People need to be able to make several options and not stuck with just one.

i don't think crypto is the right place for you considering your fragile state of health, you shouldn't be affected with this crash because it will recover sooner than you know, no need to be overwhelmed by the current market situation, your health is very important and you should take care of it, since you are not that strong to bare things like this, you shouldn't have invested heavily, only what will not affect you much is more better.  

Unfortunately, panic sellers already doing what they know how to do best, panic seller for cheap price and buy back later at high price when the market recovers, this is usually the case with most people, they can't bare to see the market dip a bit before they panic and sell off their assets, experience should be the best teacher but some people are still not use to dip i guess 

Your friend probably was not active following updates and news, most times some exchange usually make announcement of a possible closure so people can withdraw their funds, am not sure but i think even cryptopia made announcement or some people posted about it to warn people to take their funds, i can't remember, anyways, it is not adviceable to leave funds in the exchange for too long, if you are not trading then better to move them to a personal wallet,
just like the above poster said, i don't trust any exchange but they are necessary for trading which is why sometimes we have some part of our funds there.

Demoralize or give some ray of hope? the fact they acknowledge that btc is an alternative investment is a good enough reason for people over ther to have some hope that one day the strictness surrounding btc in china will reduce a bit, rather than demoralizing the people's conciousness it will uplift their spirit to want to invest, this is suppose to be a positive news isn't it! perhaps they have started to see things about crypto differently.

Word! some people will not invest untill they see the project is up by 30% - 70% and then they will fomo in and expect a miracle, i think this is a common practice among many crypto enthusiast, always like to be late to the party, i think the major problem associated with such behaviour is procastinnation which often result to jumping in at the peak,
crypto investment is just like any other investment which involves taking risk and if anyone is afraid of doing so shouldn't be in crypto, and as the saying goes "you snooze you lose".

You don't necessarily need to trade daily to earn good money in crypto, why do you have to subject your youthful self into uncessarily anxiety and torture! if trading is not working for you, then change your approach, or better yet just buy and hodl, (best strategy that work 99.9%  ),
you can as well engage in short term investment, i don't need to point out different ways to earn in crypto without doing day trading, just observe and you will find what suit you, but if you so earger to be a trader then try and equip yourself with the required knowledge before you lose all your funds.   

I found this post interesting for two reasons:-
first, the superiority of Gold over btc (regardless of price) a gold coin will obviuosly be more expensive than silver or copper, btc may be higher in price but can never replace Gold,

second, btc is only valuable because it is digital coin, having a physical coin will most likely not worth much (again depending on the quality) except what value users are ready place on it, hypothetically BTC will likely loss its fiat value when minted as physical coin!

From your post content, it sound more like a jealous post than just been sarcasm, if you miss out on this, it's okey, but don't sound so condescending towards other people, from all indication, you clearly have no clue about the project nor did you care to research before posting, anyone can do what they like with there reward, but believe it or not $SOV is just getting started, it is just a week old of launch and only trading on the dapp but it has recorded huge success, then imagine when this beast is launched in big exchange because believe it that's on the pipeline, i think the team just holding back because already 2 major exchange are part of Pompliano syndicate who invested in $Sovryn.

I think you are looking at this from a narrow point of view which is only about the price, don't compare the supply of eth to bnb, eth don't engage in quarterly burn like the way bnb does, eth has infinity supply (whatever that means) I think the price of eth already high enough for its supply although many seem to have different opinion on that,
Bnb creating more usage which is the reason why the price will go up, plus the supply will relatively reduce in months to come as the burn progresses, I think etg has grown fair in this past weeks as well, although it seem the attention is more on bsc and bnb now, most likely bnb will attempt to reach same price level as eth in long term.

Just want to add, in every project there are probably a million reason why we shouldn't invest including the great btc, no project is 100% perfect there must be something that is missing,
Since the time op has posted this topic cake has uncreaes even more, this current dip didn't do much on the price either because I was waiting to see a good dip to buy in but it doesn't seem that way, most people miss opportunities because of over thinking, some people don't see bnb as good enough to invest on, well to each to their opinion.
