1221  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Considering Group Buy for F*D physical Darkcoin and Ether on: April 27, 2015, 08:04:21 PM
I would be interested in 1 of each coin, and I'm in the US.

OK Thanks.  I updated the OP.  Lets see if we get some more, before I commit.
1222  Economy / Collectibles / [CANCELLED] Group Buy for F*D physical Darkcoin and Ether on: April 27, 2015, 04:23:36 PM
Edit: ETHER has been sold out as of Tues 4/28 EST, so the group buy will be unfortunately cancelled.

You may purchase from another user minerjones on the thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1041987

Since F*D only offers 10 packs of the Darkcoin and Ether, I was considering organizing a group buy for those looking to buy singles.  Pictures of the coins can be seen in the thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=985983.msg11211287#msg11211287

There will be 100 of each minted, and they will soon be in stock.  Serial numbers would be distributed first come, first served.  I would accept escrow.

I live in the US, but monkeynuts has agreed to redistribute to the rest of Europe.    For international orders, I may consider sending him the European batch for him to receive his own and redistribute.

I would sell these coins at cost after figuring out the costs of the coins, shipping to me, and re-shipping to you.

Please let me know if anyone is interested, the qty & type of coins desired, and your country.  I would purchase a 10 pack of both coins.

I'd like to make a order within the next day or so.

1223  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Ether and Darkcoin ARE IN! (f*D Pre-Order physical 'Real Bitcoin' continues) on: April 27, 2015, 04:00:16 PM
They look sweet! How much for a single?

Thank you miffman! Actually, I will not be selling singles - just the 10 packs. Singles will be available I am sure via the secondary market though.

2 ten packs left of Ether btw.

Thats assuming that those who bought a ten pack are reselling or doing so at a reasonable price.  I'm concerned there's not going to be any singles to go around.

Anybody interested in a group buy for a 10 pack of both Ether and/or Dark?  I would consider organizing at no upcharge if there's enough interest.  Since I'm also in the US, it may not be worthwhile or cost effective dealing with international, but I'll offer it.

To gauge interest, I created my own thread so I don't hijack this one

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1039831

I really wish F*D would offer singles for sale.

I would add a color to the bottom embossed wallet in the pic with 3 wallets.  Maybe remove or redo its upper section that has the public and private keys.  I think it looks too generic like it came from bitaddress.org.

1225  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy another Physical Coin? on: April 26, 2015, 02:25:15 PM
Great job on these.  I'll be buying some when made available for sale.
1226  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: April 26, 2015, 01:35:15 AM
I don't love the top half, but the bottom half is pretty nice.  Reminds me a little of the Casascius hologram with different alternating sections.   Out of the two pictures, I prefer the 1st one over the 2nd.
1227  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy another Physical Coin? on: April 25, 2015, 11:08:22 PM
The 2nd picture is very cool
1228  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy another Physical Coin? on: April 25, 2015, 06:47:33 PM
Very nice...do you have a picture of the entire paper wallet?
1229  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy another Physical Coin? on: April 25, 2015, 06:24:38 PM
How about a unique paper wallet document that can not be duplicated  and is limited in its production ... that contains public and encrypted private keys......  would anyone buy them???   Why does a physical bitcoin need to be made of a metal..

I don't find paper wallets to be as special as coins.  I don't care for something that can be printed at home and look like a photocopy.  If its done right with unique papers or inks, that's a little better.

YES...nothing like you have ever seen before.... Top notch paper, touch sensitive inks, stamps, embossing seals, holograms, micro threads, hidden UV details.......impossible to replicate , encrypted private key password is tamper evident, one time reveal.....

Yes, I would be interested in those

I collect all physical crypto coins, cards etc...regardless if bitcoin or not, but I would prefer bitcoin or at least some mainstream alt.  Not CLAM.

I would limit the mintage, so a collector feels it has some rarity.

I don't mind whether the coin is funded or not, and probably prefer its not due to trust issues and lower price.
1232  Economy / Goods / Re: What do you think buying Rolex by Bitcoin on: April 25, 2015, 02:24:47 PM
Always be careful where buying a preowned Rolex.   I would trust grayandsons in store, or any factory authorized dealer.  Cost is irrelevant if you end up with a counterfeit.

1233  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Vault Coin (Physical Cold Storage) Online Store Now Live on: April 25, 2015, 01:20:48 AM
Maybe a nice 80 or 100 pound matte paper.  I suppose you would want them sans keys?
Also they could be cut to trim lines.  One wallet = 5.4" x 2.9" (edge of wallet).
Or 24 up on a sheet 18" x 18" sheet uncut (like the sheets of USD before they cut them).

Also which design was your favorite?

I'm torn between A and C.  I prefer the logo.  I'm leaning towards A, but I like both.  I'm not funding them, since I'm a collector, so I don't mind if they're with keys or not.  Though other people may use them as wallets, and would likely want them DIY.
1234  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Vault Coin (Physical Cold Storage) Online Store Now Live on: April 25, 2015, 12:49:43 AM
I think they're all nice, having that official USD background look with the patterns, and the security thread.

If you have access to special papers and ink, I for one would like an official printed paper wallet direct from you.  I prefer that over printing on my home printer on cheap paper.  It would like nice with the holos/stickers added over the private key.
1235  Economy / Goods / Re: What do you think buying Rolex by Bitcoin on: April 25, 2015, 12:13:18 AM
I don't know why but seems like photoshop to me
*don't take it personal*

Was thinking that myself, hence the questions. However in the second picture it does show a different time.

The handwriting is partially out of focus, which I would expect for a macro photo.

The day and date are the same.  Its quite likely that handling the watch gave it energy to advance for another hour when the picture was taken.  I'm assuming this is an automatic.

Again, all it takes is for someone to call the retail store, using any number off the website, to verify.  Just call and ask if they accept bitcoin for any piece they offer.   Just deal with them directly.
1236  Economy / Goods / Re: What do you think buying Rolex by Bitcoin on: April 24, 2015, 04:29:43 PM
To the OP...another thing you could consider is to give us your name, and if anyone here that is looking for the watch cares to follow up, they can call the phone number off the main website for grayandsons.com and confirm if you work there and if you put the watch up for sale on their behalf.

Please understand that scams are rampant on this board, especially from new users, and those selling what they claim are used rolexes.

But at minimum, people will need to see a handwritten note with your username next to the picture, and/or the rolex certification card/boxes to show some proof its not a fake.  It helps to show you didn't get the picture off someone else's site.   And again, escrow will be needed if selling online.  It may be more hoops for you to jump through, but understand where the community is coming from.

I saw cryptoart at this years North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami. They are nice pieces.

Are these the Medium or Large art pieces?  Whats their Serial Number?
1238  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would you buy another Physical Coin? on: April 24, 2015, 12:43:28 PM
I agree that Bitcoin or Litecoin are the most mainstream choices.  Clams seems so obscure that you risk having a tiny audience.  I don't see why the alt choice or denomination matters on cost if you go unfunded instead.  Based on your country, there are legal issues to fund these.  I also agree that DIY may be preferable or as an option, so there aren't trust issues.

Use a nice simple clean design with a custom holo if possible.  Keep the price under $50 each.  The lower the better it will sell, as people are very price conscious.

If you offer a few different finishes, many collectors will get one of each.
1239  Economy / Goods / Re: What do you think buying Rolex by Bitcoin on: April 24, 2015, 12:23:34 PM
Hi Everyone!
I heave great pre-owned in a very good condition Rolex for sale. http://www.grayandsons.com/product/24509/78
We also have lots of other Rolexes for sale. If you are interested please e-mail: info@grayandsons.com or call: Toll Free: (800) 918-2608

first of all the toll free number given here is wrong.
second would you like to use escrow for this.
third if you really owns the Rolex set the time 04:54 in it and upload a image of it.
fourth site don"t have any SSL certificate which makes sites worth/trust 0.
So, it is Possible SCAM according to my opinion also.

I can't vouch for the OP, as I have no way to know they are from the company.

I can say the phone number is on the website, the company is legit, and is one of the most respected watch stores, and the site redirects to SSL on checkout.  I get their monthly catalog and have been in their store in South Florida.

I do recommend escrow if purchasing online and having the OP show pics of the watch with their username.

Any brand new account, selling used Rolexes, with no proof of the item screams buyer beware.

I collect physical coins, so I would be interested in one of each finish.  Not sure how I feel about Clams though.  You want to appeal to a large audience.  If looking only at alts, also consider Dark, Etherium or something popular.
