What I don't like though is that those boxers who throw below the belt insults against each other, they shouldn't allow themselves to talk about someone's family or wife or kids. Lets the trash talking between this two fighters that's it. It could be personal attack like what Ryan said on Davis years ago, or Tank accusing Ryan or taking some drugs because he looks huge right now or talking about his mental health excuses. So shots have been fired in the media already, but in the end we will see who's mouth can back the talks when they face each other in April.
I understand that with this chatter boxers support the hype around the fight, maybe it's even part of their duties that managers require of them (I'm not sure about that), but I do not support this. For me, the inability of a person to keep his mouth shut is a sign of a small mind. If you are a real champion, then all that is required of you is to enter the ring and show your best, everything else is superfluous. Dame is a superstar there is no doubt about that. Just because he hasn't been himself lately doesn't negate the fact that he is one of the all time greats to play this game. Which is why I wasn't shocked to see him play such a great game. Dallas is still a great team with the core they are building.
Between Spencer and Wood and Doncic, we are looking at three good players there, if they could get just one more superstar to Luka, that team could actually fight for a title, there is no denying that at all. Sure all teams sometimes lose games, everyone does, but if they get another superstar, they would be getting titles.
With that statement regarding to have an additional superstar to help Luka, I think it's time now for the management to look for a good trade. like what you said, Spencer and Wood are great players but to help Luka in achieving the title. It isn't tough but it's impossible for me.
Now that AD is injured "again", they are at the bottom of the standings. When AD, Lebron and Westbrook played, they are still at the bottom spot (highest that they've got I guess is around 12th). What I'm trying to say is that, their standings isn't changing at all. Whether their big 3 play or not, they will still remain at the bottom spot. Play-ins is the highest that they can get but looking at how they are right now, even that might be hard for them to achieve this season. It's your opinion though but for me, they will not enter the playoffs this season whether their big 3 will play or not.
It may seem like the Lakers' place in the standings doesn't change, and they're still at the bottom, but the fact is they only have 3 fewer wins than the Jazz, who are currently in 8th place in the standings. So the Lakers still have a chance to make both the play-in tournament and the playoffs, but they need Davis for that. Honestly, I think the Lakers have been performing a lot better lately compared to their performance earlier this season. Let me remind you that the Lakers started this season extremely poorly, as they had 2 wins and 10 losses at that moment. They improved those early poor performances but like what you mentioned, they need to keep winning if they wanted to move to next round, right now, the standing is still poor. If they wanted to push their way up, they need to work more harder, try to execute good plays and try to depend on each other, AD is out and there's nothing he can do to help aside from moral support. Life changed a lot for me and my family over the last year. The rising inflation is noticeable the most in the food prices, it feels like I am spending 50% more on food now than I did 1 year ago. My grocery bills started to skyrocket last summer, and even though we switched to cheaper brands prices are still rising. Just one examples are fresh products like salad, tomatoes and cucumbers, the price for them increased 35% in less than a year. The second big problem is heating, with the new high energy prices we lowered the temperature 2 degrees at home. Really sad times we live in now, usually we went skiing for a week during the winter, but this year we will save the money instead. That's really what most of us or maybe we can say all of us are now experiencing with the rising inflation, the increase and most aspects of economy, especially with our daily needs. It can't be avoided, and it is we who needed to adjust, limiting or maximizing all our resources to continue surviving and then finding other sources of financial income. Things that most of us are really aiming and hoping to keep life moving forward. |

Injuries really spoil the good rally of a team. It appears we have another boxer who will be very exciting similar to how Manny Pacman was during his challenges in different weight divisions. However, Naoya Inoue's mission is to be the first male boxer to unify all championships in 2 different divisions. According to this article he mentioned that he will be in the ring again on April or May! I speculate him to challenge Akhmadaliev first, before a unification superfight against Stephen Fulton on December. He also mentioned that his body can reach the limit to featherweight. Naoya Inoue became the ninth fighter to unify all four major titles in boxing's four-belt era.
Inoue is now looking to become the only male fighter to accomplish the feat in two weight classes.
