No one knows the future guys. but according to its fame and easy to use transact it looks that it will replace all the digital currencies.

That's the beauty of bitcoin we can adopt bitcoin each and every possible sectors. Soon, all the banks around the world will adopt bitcoin for depositing as well as withdrawing funds. That is the point, we call as going mainstream. If all the banks in the world start accepting bitcoin as one of payment option then we can see bitcoin is spendable everywhere. Then no one can stop bitcoin going to moon level price. This is the future of bitcoin. We see every banks accept bitcoin so that bitcoin will be a part of our everyday life. But many people do not want bitcoin again going back with our traditional bank. Because bitcoin itself a banking system, we don't need any traditional bank's aid to make bitcoin into mainstream. Its inevitable that banks will use it or any other crypto for that matter, since banks offer lending etc, you still need a bank, so people will always use banks. |

Hopefully readers of this thread will understand more and benefit from Jabo's very detailed reply to the recent critics. I hope new readers will join us, we are here for the long haul.......  What is long haul? 50 years? The IPO was like in January 2014? In less than two months it would be 2 years. Where would nem be in next 2 years? Want to make a prediction or you going to just sit around for 50 years and chant long haul? Long haul for me is the next 5-10 years! And that goes with ALL crypto currencies ive invested in! You would have to be a complete idiot if you think you are going to make money overnight with this sort of stuff, and from what i read on BTT, it seems alot of people expect this with the majority of shitcoins! Well i can tell you only a handful will prevail. I dont need to tell you where NEM will be in 5 years, its quite obvious! |

I dont see much future in Bitcoin by the end of the decade.
Other platforms with more innovation and no issues with block sizes etc will prevail.
NXT, NEM, and other 2.0 platforms will be the way of the future...
Bitcoin needs to succeed before any other coin. Once there is some sort of mass success, only then can another coin potentially take over. Bitcoin will either fail and take cryptos with it, succeed and be replaced or succeed. Well one could already say its been successful. But alot of people still dont even know about BTC, let alone other altcoins. I know i only heard of bitcoin first, but now have turned to other platforms that i feel are better. These 2.0 altcoins are for people who missed 1dollar bitcoins. I bet when bitcoins price surges again, all altcoins will ride the same wave. However bitcoin is currently the backbone of all alts and I really can't see that changing anytime soon. I think that bitcoins would hold their value in the long term and some alts just join with bitcoin in holding their value. NXT is one of those coins I see dramatically rising in the next 5 years. even if it has only fallen in the last 2 years, it has to hit the bottom soon. 2k sats is pretty low for the level of innovation that coin has. Well you are partially right, i feel most alts are for those who missed out on BTC under $1. I was no exception either. If i knew about BTC when it was only one or two cents, i could have mined thousands on my PC and would have been a millionaire! lol However its not too late. Only some will prevail. NXT will be one of them, there is room for more than one cryptocurrency also. I doubt claims that one BTC will be worth $1 million though, let alone $100K or even $10K |

NEM and NXT are some of the best "coins" or crypto platforms out there! All the trolls love to give them a hard time, some of these trolls are clearly supporters of Eth or other coins,they see it as a big threat. Just hit ignore!  |

Nxt must double its marketcap in order to reach the top ten. Nxt currently has a marketcap of 7.8mln while DASH (at 5th place) hast over 15 mln. It's a long way to go. Done Cool, NXT must reach above 8 million market cap so that we can get into the TOP 5. We need more promotion for it (facebook, twitter ,etc) Well we've been there before! |
