1241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell all alts to buy more cheaper? on: October 16, 2017, 02:52:06 AM
With the upcoming bitcoin fork and the so called "dividend" that will be received thru bitcoin gold the price of BTC is on the rise. I am considering selling all my altcoins, even at a loss, so that i can buy more of them once bitcoin's price rises up higher.

What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a good strategy?
That sounds a good plan but if you sell your altcoins even at a loss is quite not good. So do you have more investment in altcoins which is equivalent to bitcoin cash?

Just do some analysis on altcoins which may regain its value back after a hard fork. I would suggest if you can sell only some part of altcoins and invest those income in bitcoin or in upcoming bitcoin gold. So that you can manage your holdings and earn something at the same time.
1242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My first day of trading on: October 15, 2017, 04:32:55 PM
A couple days ago I transfered enough from my bank account to buy 1 Bit coin.  While waiting for the $ to make it from the bank to the exchange I had $75.00 invested so could use it to practice with.  Keep in mind that I had no experience with bit coin trading and my past day trading did not go well.

Today I saw that SC (Siacoin) was above 10% and volume was above 10,000.  It was also very active pumping up and down.  I did four buy and sell trades, not aiming for much more than 5% profit on each one and increased my $75.00 to $91.00.  It was a great leaning experience.  Also very humbling because on the first trade I made a mistake and lucked out.

Scott
Your limits looks good. 5% of margin expectation set to yourself will always gives you positive mind set and help you to will avoid disappointments.

Just keep learning them and control your expectation on huge profits. Switch to more alt coins that will capture the market in future by doing your own analysis
Good start.

maybe 1 - 2 years from now,,
suggest me a good altcoins,,
thanks before

best regards

We cannot predict that the new alt coins will grow for sure like Bitcoin. According to my prediction after few news and growing in market capability
1) I would suggest Ethereum (ETH) since it took top 2nd place in growing according to coinmarketcap and people suggestions as well. Anyway do your own research.
2) The Ripple (XRP) is good one because their feature is like not only digital currency they also focusing on money transfer across the countries for individual and Institutional so this creates something new in digital assets.

You can use wallets for storing like Gatehub is an official and trusted one compared with coin payment.

Am suggesting to invest here as a part and try not keep all your eggs in same basket. You should hold some bitcoin as well since its a legend in cryptocurrency. Good luck
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: October 11, 2017, 04:55:12 PM
any suggestions im new at trading

the best altcoin to invest in is those which you don't even hear about them. so when you hear about a coin always be 99% sure that it is already too late and the rise has happened and the real investors have cashed out or waiting for new investors to buy their orders from them.
That's sure thing as you said. I do have a plan to buy altcoins apart from the bitcoin through earning. The coin which we have heard about it are mostly developed and grown to maximum level however still we can buy or earn them but you cannot make profits like upcoming or growing coins in the market.
Doing a research on altcoins to find which will catch market to high level and buy them like a bitcoin at the beginning.

1246  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 07, 2017, 08:13:47 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
To become rich is risky with bitcoins now because its already grown and couldn't afford to buy 1 btc through my fiat currency but i can earn through signature campaign and hold those earnings for better price and that will be a decent income to manage. I haven't lose bitcoins. I was missed to buy bitcoins when i see them with very less values. Have a thought of mining and i don't know how good it will earn for me so i have to do research on that.
1247  Economy / Economics / Re: What country do you think will recognize Bitcoin as an official currency? on: October 07, 2017, 08:02:30 PM
I think for bitcoin to be a real currency, government have to accept it first.

So I ask what country do you think will recognize it as a currency?
Yes it's a next step for bitcoin to recognized by government, Since it has massive growth in crypto currency market. And most of the countries are interested in block chain technology and accepting crypto currency like bitcoin, but still they are not strong enough to prioritize this since it may affect their fiat currency. Japan has already started accepting and they are fast enough with block chain technology. All the countries should come forward and accept bitcoin for some retail transaction in the beginning.
1248  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: October 07, 2017, 06:08:01 PM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?
Your thinking's are like old aged and even they do have some hope on their life time. Change your way of thinking. Try to think in positive way that you live for long with your dependents and let them know the value of you savings in bitcoin and utilize them in right way. At last you should believe in someone like friends are anyone to share your personal thoughts.
1249  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: October 07, 2017, 04:58:46 PM
Chinese govt has decided to ban the local bitcoin exchanges. [1] This is pretty big news considering one of large market and mining firms are located in China.
Do you think this would affect  bitcoin world and bitcoin price in negative way or positive way?  Some say china is doing so because people are bypassing the banking system and in turn the government regulation using bitcoin.

I don't know how sure china government going to ban bitcoin. If it happens it will affect the bitcoin growth and probably it leads to some point of negative deviation in value however still their absence does not stop the bitcoin and it will get back to its value to peak soon
1250  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you in the Christmas spirit? on: October 06, 2017, 06:34:28 AM
Last year, if I remember correctly, bitcoin spiked around Christmas time. It's that time of year again, and are you guys ready for some volatile action? Well I am!

I'm expecting the price to jump to almost $900. How about you?
Woahhh , really? I'm glad to hear that. It is my first Christmas with bitcoin and I am excited on what will going to happen. I'm hoping for the high value of bitcoin on this coming Christmas, cause you know? Christmas is the season if giving. If that happens it'll be the greatest thing that I can receive in Christmas
I couldn't believe that we are near to have a bitcoin value spike for this Christmas. I have to run more to earn more bitcoins. If your words become true we will get a decent profit for this Christmas as a gift. Also i have a thought of buying some bitcoin in decimals Cool to hold them for profit.
1251  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: October 06, 2017, 06:20:52 AM
If you have mined a lot bitcoins then you have hold them for sometime and sell it when the value reach to your target. If you couldn't manage your current consumption charges just pay them and hold the balance coins for some time to get decent profit.
1252  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: October 06, 2017, 05:30:28 AM
Still there are many don't know what it is and where its used for. Even yesterday i was explaining to my friend what am doing and its benefits and growth. They are not believing there are such things happening and shocking about its growth. I took example as it's like a gold the bitcoin have some value that could fluctuating at any time and currently
1253  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: October 05, 2017, 04:46:50 AM
If i have some bitcoin i will do trading. Trading will be bit risky however risk rewards to more. I will do mining as well and spend my money on buying high performance gpu's.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: Time is money, how you manage your money and time ? on: October 05, 2017, 03:41:20 AM
If you go through the life of leaders and common people, surely most were successful in terms of wealth or in terms of knowledge just because of the perfect time management. With bitcoin earning time management is much required as the price variations happen in a very precise manner.
Yes, That will be motivation for us by following the life of successful people who are grown in wealth and respect in society from their bad situations. Time should be the precious key since it cannot be returned. I've some bad experience because of wasting my time. I know am still wasting time on entertainment things and trying no to be like that. I have some ways to utilize my time and earning money. Bitcoin forum is one of the major one on spending my time and earning.
1255  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: October 05, 2017, 03:20:24 AM
You have such a huge money. $2mil. You have to do lots of homework on mining, trading, and holding the bitcoin as well. Trading would be good one from my suggestion because no need to worry about electricity usage in mining. Trading and holding bitcoin for long term is a best way to get some profit.
1256  Economy / Exchanges / Re: cheapest place to buy bitcoin? on: October 03, 2017, 02:16:09 PM
Its not like cheap but you can avoid extra charges when you decide to buy in local bitcoin. I have been using local bitcoins from the time i started using bitcoin and you will never get scammed there. Also you can find traders from your own region and use your region fiat to buy. Coinbase, bittrex is also a good exchanges.
1257  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: October 03, 2017, 01:36:36 PM
hey...I want to know easily  earn btc from online...can you give some tips about it...someone only tell me that earn btc easily bt they not given any tips...plz...anyone help me
It can be easy depends up on your skills and interest in bitcoin. I would say signature campaign is the easy one to earn bitcoins but not for beginners because you need some ranks and few things to know about bitcoin.
If you are good at some computer programming skills then on freelancing jobs here and earn more. Definitely you will be interested here to know more. Trading, Gambling and mining also there after you can do a research on them and dive in.

1259  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: October 01, 2017, 11:38:27 PM
I had a bad decision made last year where I didn't bought any bitcoins but i was panned and arranged money to buy btc Unfortunately i lost my hope on bitcoins growth. Anyway compared with few peoples loses here my lose is nothing. I can't imagine they were holding few bitcoins that are not in decimals and sold for cheap. I know we cannot predict.
1260  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: October 01, 2017, 11:19:23 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
It will reduce unemployment in some % but not major. We can just found as another to earn from this forum through new digital currency. Also it created competitiveness between other alt coins as you said.
