To fight against the control of USD thus create an anchor for people all around the global, or to make transactions apparent in cyber world, Bitcoin was coined by Satoshi(the second one is more valid). Will the day come when everyone uses Bitcoin in daily payment(supposing new tech is applied to avoid high gas fee) and thus fiat gets abandoned? Or it won't because the amount of Bitcoin is set and all Bitcin is practically manipulated by capitalists... Obviously , it's nearly impossible for Bitcoin to realize permant and global circulation due to its high price and scarcity, which renders it harder to take the place of fiat but it sounds that ETH is likely to be an anchor and a tool for daily use alike, surpassing BTC is feasible. They say, if a country is at war or in upheaval, buying Bitcoin is not wise for its high volatility and USD is a better choice. I want to understand if all altcoins are built upon the foundation of BTC. This is because when there is severe crash of BTC, all other coins, I mean all, also crash.

Most altcoins have no real connection to BTC, except their pairing on exchanges. When BTC starts dropping, people usually exit alts and try to buy BTC at lower prices, thus causing a cascade effect I hear what you are saying and kinda agree with you but why do the drop chats of all the ALTs almost the same as that of Bitcoin whether it is in an upward trend or downward trend? If you really take time to look at the chats during Bitcoin down trend and compare it with say, Ethereum, BNB and some other ALTs, it is almost 99% similar so I am thinking that same OPs question, why so much influence on other ALTs by Bitcoin whether positive or negative. |

I don’t think you need to panic. As early as a few years ago, China banned Bitcoin mining and issued other token projects, but they only had a short-term impact on Bitcoin, but soon btc It has returned to its original position, and this time just banned the mining of Bitcoin, which does not mean that the transaction is banned.
Exactly, people always find this news too concerning when in the grand scale of things, it doesn't have any sort of long lasting effect plus bitcoin mining will just be moved to other countries if the ban is a permanent one. I believe that will be a better option for Bitcoin so that we don't continue to get into this position of thinking the market will crash reacting to such kind of news from China. We really need diversification in this part of the Bitcoin ecosystem so that one country doesn't believe they control mining. |

Yes, but at least everyone can still get a certain amount of profit in the current market conditions because at times like now it is still very risky to buy some Altcoins in very high quantities. to buy I think you have to make a belief in yourself. because after seeing how the market experienced a deep correction, it must have made some people panic about the value of assets that continued to decline. some have even sold at a loss due to following the market hype. only those who believe and have good analysis will be sure to hold on to their diminishing assets. even most people equate it with 2018. The problem is many people trapped on a joke project like Doge, i dont think hold em is a good option. If you hold a good project, at least just eat the hopium and increase your belief system...  I agree with you. My problem is not that Dogecoin has not been around for a long time too with the older Main Cons but because of the way its investors now think it is some super coin that can on its own grow the way it has grown without the help of Hypes. The question is, unlike other projects like Bitcoin and Ethereum that have gotten to where they are now because of their self-development and adoption, can Dogecoin do the same? certainly not. So if you believe that this is the type of coin you wish to invest in and hodl for a long time, Your Investment Your Will. |

What i can say is you are lucky enough, but i have to say, this is not a get-rich-quick platform, you made twice of money in the day time just because you are lucky, instead of losing half your money in one day.
If it was me ,i would not just because of some guy mention some coin then i go to buy it, haha, by the way, maybe this is the reason why i am not rich.

Yes, all the events that happened to Dogecoin 90% were the work of Elon Musk who used his trust to manipulate many people in the market, so bad things are now starting to happen to Dogecoin where the pump on Dogecoin has started to slowly disappear. It is inevitable. Those that believed that Elon Musk will be able to take Dogecoin to $1 were all dreaming and if this is not clear to them already, they will be recked soon. Elon Musk has tried to get that to happen even though some of us already knew that it was for his personal gains. If Dogecoin was actually a solid coin, what could have been the best news for a coin's price to skyrocket when an exchange like Coinbase Pro announces the listing of Dogecoin, that type of news is enough to MOON some projects but what happened to Dogecoin price after the announcement? nothin. Sometimes I do notice that bitcoin experience some issues while increasing in value, Bitcoin have increased to $15,000 $20,00. Now we find bitcoin going low, Now I want us to understand no matter how dollar fall it can be as bitcoin, What is the solution of getting this solved?,if bitcoin is Depreciating in value let it not be much, because the falling of bitcoin really scare people away. Would you be happy if you purchase bitcoin worth $15,000 and in the next few months bitcoin is $5,000, would you be happy?. This was especially very good for HODLers to buy more Bitcoin. I also bought some more as a HODLer. But this period has been really bad for short-term investors. They've lost a lot of money before reaching their goals.
While this might be true it doesn't relate to every supposedly short term investors. Some times the market situations can make you change your plans, you could take some profits as a long-term investor if the market creates the opportunity and the wise short-term investors should know that they will only loss their money if the sell in the dip hence HODLing for a longer time should be the option. I have played both situations and I know many other investors most have too. |

I don't understand why he hasn't been punished already. If he knows this and he violated what was not suppose to be done, I believe he should be punished immediately for his tweet that violated the law. They just stopped thinking about the quality of the product. If one entity needs to get currency to another entity they will be able to do so. The way that I am seeing it, it doesn't matter where the money comes from as long as they are getting the money in the first place. In fact, wouldn't Bitcoin make this type of funding more difficult to detect?
Then again, maybe I am looking at this the wrong way.

Even the governments of some states are now using cryptocurrencies to circumvent international sanctions. Of course, some weapons are also sold for cryptocurrency. Therefore, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies cannot stop wars, they even contribute to them to some extent. The high degree of confidentiality and anonymity is perfect for this. I don't think that Bitcoin can help stop the funding of wars, if anything it could even make the payments for everything relating to funding the war easier because it's easy to transfer between parties. Even though we know that there are a lot of wars that have gone down before Bitcoin but I don't think that BItcoin can make any positive changes to it. |

This depends on the trading method you are doing. If you are an arbitrage trader, I am sure that you often sell rather than hold, because by trading arbitrarily you have to sell quickly taking advantage of the price differences between exchanges.
I agree with you. I understand that your trading method also determines how you are able to take that decision to HODl. If you are also more into Derivatives trading, I believe at some point in the market you are forced to get out. I think the best Hodlers are the investors and not the traders, this way, they know it is just a matter of time before the market recovers that is even if it takes a couple of years. |

The job of YouTubers is to make money and they make videos for people to watch it. They can exaggerate any project but they are not deceiving us. A good project will have many people's awareness and investment. So please accept advertising in the cryptocurrency market as a reference only.
I agree with you but whether they are just giving their own expert opinion about a crypto project or they are shilling any particular crypto, it is still dependent on the investor to have their own insight about the project, Do some form of research on the project and let the YouTubers view only be a point of reference as you mentioned. |
