981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Elon Musk's goal with Dogecoin? on: May 29, 2021, 06:46:34 AM
Do you think he does it because he wants to make money? Do you think he speculates with Dogecoin?

I am wondering if he will keep tweeting about it after the bull market is over.

Someone could also ask what was his goal when he first tweeted about Bitcoin? EM is all about profit-making and he has done that with Bitcoin and he is still doing it with Dogecoin. Think about it, with the price of Dogecoin, Elon Musk could easily make Billions from Hyping Dogecoin than Bitcoin. I think it's all hype that will die off later.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most of your coins are going to be worthless in years. on: May 29, 2021, 06:42:48 AM
It has to be said. Its common sense. There are thousands of coins. Scamcoin, losercoin, Shiba coin. All real coins btw.

Yes there will be a couple coins that are very valuable in a couple years but the vast majority of them will be worthless.

Only coins that do things will be valuable. Coins that you have that are just there to hopefully go up on value so you can profit will be worthless.

Its like the dot com boom. You are betting on websites. Which website is going to get the most visitors. Most died.

This is a normal thing with cryptocurrencies. I have noticed this for myself too that some or most of the top Coins I traded back in 2017 are no were near the top Coins on any market tracking site now. Even if some of them are still trading, I believe as someone have already mentioned, we have newer technology and a new approach to things and the projects that are not able to keep up will naturally go under.
983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we insist on "Test Transactions"? on: May 29, 2021, 06:30:11 AM
So I am well aware of why people do test transactions as they like to verify the address. Nobody wants to lose their funds.

However, I have always been perplexed by this notion given the near perfect track record of the blockchain itself. Why would you need to do a test transaction when you know if you are sending to the correct address, the funds will get there safely?

Give me your 2cents.
Even if you are sure of what it is, everything that you are doing for the first time needs a test. Vaccines, Car manufacturing, food at the restaurants, etc. It has become a human thing to always test it out first before going in full speed and crypto transactions are no different because like you said, it's about funds and you can't be too sure until you are sure  Grin
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: May 28, 2021, 09:05:20 AM
The bounty hunters usually don't know that the project is a scam or not because they only participate and carry out the tasks that the manager provides, while the bounty hunters may be fooled by some of the goodness provided by the support on telegram, but no one can guarantee that all bounty projects are legit, sometimes tokens paid for are of no value.
Thank you very much for your insight. We do understand that some bounty hunters may not read through the bounty tread properly in most cases because they just want to register and be on the list especially when there is a limited number of offers to specific levels.

However, as you mentioned, there no way you can tell if the bounty will eventually turn out to be a scam even if you read the whole instruction, Student Coin is a typical example of a SCAM project that after the bounty refuses to pay what was stated on the bounty page. Now that is not the fault of the hunters but was just an act of outright SCAM from the Bounty project owners and we have seen some more like this.
985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Horrible day in History of Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 08:40:32 AM
After 13 March 2020, This is Another Horrible Day In History Of Bitcoin

THE DAY I CAN'T FORGET
19 - May -2021
The Black Wednesday

Just like some have already mentioned, In this crypto market, everything and anything should be expected. You don't suppose that the market will continue to go up every day and once there is going to be a dip in the market, you don't think there will be some sort of announcement. Dips are also good for those that want to accumulate more whether it is the whales which automatically helps the little investors to jump in too.

While we understand that some investors were crying on that date, others were actually happy it happened because it gave them the opportunity to come in or acquire more.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 27, 2021, 11:39:37 AM
Many famous billionaires talk very well about ethereum. I think ethereum's future looks very good. I don't know how the Ethereum 2.0 update will affect ethereum, but I think one day ethereum will surpass bitcoin.
I have had it with these Billioniers and their involvement in cryptocurrencies they now seem more harm than good, however, I am still holding on to my little Ethereum assets  Grin since we have recovered from the recent dip and Eth is looking strong again so I will hodl for a while.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: May 27, 2021, 11:25:19 AM
Staking is better than holding. If you hold any stackable token/coin for long term. Then it’s better to stake that. Cz, You will get some staking reward from it and you still a holder of that asset.
This is true, I would prefer that too than just hodling those Token/Coin I could get additions for by staking but as someone has already mentioned, It is the risk that is involved in staking in some of these sites/exchanges that we should also take into account.
988  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin crash an opportunity to enter the market? on: May 26, 2021, 08:44:11 AM
Do you think Bitcoin crash is an opportunity to enter the market?
To me, any time is the best time to enter the market when it comes to Bitcoin Investment but entering when the market is down is a sweet deal you MUST not miss. You already understand why that is since you will get even a bigger profits on your investment  Wink
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: May 26, 2021, 08:37:10 AM
I had some btc, was not so worried but drop was very fast. After this last two days i see it is recovering so i get more yesterday.
The best thing to do and you have done. Once you are able to confirm a reversal to a market uptrend, I believe we need to buy back in. I bought some BNB again 2 days ago as one of my major assets in my portfolio once I noticed it is good to buyback at that price

once I see that we are back upward in the market.

I will ride the wave to the end again.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2021, 08:21:19 AM
After the recent bleak market. Many people do not even understand the basic principles of Bitcoin and blockchain knowledge, so they attack Bitcoin. What kind of mental state is this?
Well, you said it yourself, they don't understand Bitcoin. You can not speak intelligently on something you don't understand and the only way to react if you want to react to the topic is to speak against it. So it is no surprise that things like this will happen with such people.
991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Council on: May 25, 2021, 08:26:46 AM
Leading North American mining companies (such as ArgoBlockchain, Galaxy Digital, HiveBlockchain etc..) will form a Bitcoin Mining Council , the aim being to reduce the industry's greenhouse gas emissions. Such  initiative  was  announced after their weekend meeting with Elon Musk.

Should  this Council be considered as  Musk's attempt to rehabilitate himself  in the eyes of the community or he really wants to help?
So does this mean that what Elon was accusing the Bitcoin miners of earlier was also correct for them to be having this sit down? because to me if it wasn't, why wouldn't they just tell him off? Not that I even trust Elon and any of these big guys in the Bitcoin space, I would support @NeuroticFish  here about Elon
or he really wants to help?
trying to sell "clean" electricity to the miners or some batteries his company produces, i.e. he just does marketing for his own products.
992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't care what Saylor or Musk say anymore, I'm becoming a BTC individualist! on: May 25, 2021, 08:17:44 AM
I believe it is going to be a matter of time before the rest of us in crypto realize this same opinion and it will be all over for these rich cats and whatever they think and say about Bitcoin will have little to no effect on the price. These guys are all about themselves and will do anything to make their money with no regard for anyone else and the sooner we all realize this and forge our own destiny it will continue to be their playground.
993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and crypto is in trouble on: May 24, 2021, 08:28:47 AM
Fed need to give out asap More stimulus.
If Not bear market is coming

And nobody Don't Want bear market.

So Here what the New York bankers together with fed and also biden should do.

Wait little crash  btc support to  30k Not lower then give out Other stimulus.
Also give out money to companies to invest in crypto.

So traders Will Stay on the game the bear market is Not Good for Healthy market Economy.

I Hope the fed Will act Fast and Help the Bitcoin Up Again.
At least as a member status, I want to believe that you must have experienced something like these back in crypto years where the market dips just this bad, and did the market recover from that? yes.

So I believe that this is the same play even with all the Fud flying around. Ups and downs are part of the crypto market and we should enjoy it more instead of panic all the time and I know that Bitcoin and crypto are not in trouble
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins are backed by Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2021, 08:22:51 AM
So I am a newbie and I always had this question in my mind why all altcoins are backed with BTC because at times like these altcoins are the most affected one there are some really great altcoins out there but due to this correction we can see a massive drop in those coins and I don't think it is fair to other coins that because of only one single coin they also see a massive drop.

I am saying again I am just a newbie who is trying to understand these market.

Thank you
Basically, because almost all Altcoins have trading pair with Bitcoin and as such, if the price of Bitcoin goes down it will naturally affect the Altcoin and you must understand that since Bitcoin is like the Alfa or is the Alfa of crypto, people will naturally panic sell their alts if the reaction to bitcoin price even the Alts that are not paired with BTC.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: May 24, 2021, 08:15:32 AM
difficult to persuade parents because parents have different knowledge from us. but it is very easy to persuade him if the parents have knowledge that suits us. So your job is to be able to unify your knowledge and that of your parents so that you have the same understanding. if you can't do it then your efforts to persuade him will be in vain.

The 60s  and 70s knowledged parents are one of the hardest set of people to convince with latest technology. You have to take time to explain everything gradually, but mind you, there may be zero chance of getting on board even after understanding everything.
Sometimes, when I explain this crypto things to some people, they actually thought it's an opportunity environment where they can double up there money so fast but crypto is never like that. Considering this, the true nature of man always like money and that's what majority of investors are doing here, not really after the tech but the money.
You can see that it is the way you explained it to them that made them feel like it is an avenue to get rich quick but you must make them understand from the get-go that that is not the case. I understand that it could be difficult to get our old folks on board the crypto ship but like some have already mentioned, if you have some sort of proof that you have made this benefits from crypto, then it becomes easier to get them in.
996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl is not the best option as it seems on: May 23, 2021, 09:08:53 AM
Well, it depends on personal choice to Hodl even if you bought at a high price. Some people might decide they want to Hodl even if the price starts to fall just after buy-in because their target might be for a longer-term and some might decide to dump and buyback if the price dips more but as we know in crypto, every choice comes with a risk and for those that dump and are willing to buy back if the market didn't go that way, they might end up selling low and buying back high so as long as you have the patience, Hodling usually pays off.
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wells Fargo: US Bank changes its mind about Bitcoin on: May 23, 2021, 08:50:37 AM
Wells Fargo now calls bitcoin an investable asset and is offering only their wealthy client a chance to buy in. This comes as a shocker especially when I think about their pessimistic view on cryptocurrencies and  actions
https://coinrivet.com/wells-fargo-bans-customers-from-purchasing-cryptocurrency/

I find this new action of Wells Fargo bank suspicious. Is this just a whale manipulation? Just after a massive dip, a famous US bank decides to changes their opinion about Bitcoin and only makes provision for the rich to buy. JP Morgan and others have been proved to be hypocrites after calling bitcoin a fraud, they later go ahead to embrace crypto.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.coindesk.com/wells-fargo-plans-to-offer-crypto-investment-to-some-clients%3famp=1

Bitcoin had a massive dump this month after the CEO of Telsa, Elon Musk said he was concerned about its environmental impact. But could a new announcement from the banks be the revival we need?
If anybody still doesn't understand this by now then it is that investor that is been left out. These people/organizations have seen the potential of Bitcoin and will silently invest in it or will shamelessly eventually announce their investment in it and we are seeing this now whilst investors that already have Bitcoin are Fuding their selves out, people/organizations that understand are buying their way in with this dips which were their purpose of causing the Fud in the first place.
998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This isn't the first time the dip has happened on: May 23, 2021, 08:43:05 AM
This market has different dynamics to it, there are some that sold off during the beginning of the dip but not for panic but to take advantage of the reset market and get more if you don't understand this for this dip and sold off thinking and afraid if the market will come back again, then those probably are no true Bitcoiners.
This is a good position to get more but I am kinda selfish hoping to see some more dips  Grin to even get a bigger potion.
999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla destroys bitcoin :-[ on: May 22, 2021, 10:16:05 AM
To be honest, I am seeing you as new here because of the little dip in the market and yet you are worrying so much. All of the pioneers and veterans here in the forum are already used to on a little dip in the market. If you are not full confident on your investments then you can get out on the investment and if you are not that risk taker then probably this industry is not for you. Make a practice that whenever you are entering here you must ready on what would be the possible consequences of investing in crypto.
I agree with you too and I think s/he is new to crypto space and do not understand that this is normal with the cryptocurrency market. You must have done some research on how this market operates before investing to understand that there will be days like this but there will always be a bounce-back sooner or later, that's a given.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can not crash on: May 22, 2021, 10:08:22 AM
From what i have notice people are planning to crash cryptocurrency and if Bitcoin crash what is the benefit of people who is against the development of digital currency, it astonished me that a man called Elon musk is fighting cryptocurrency for no relevant reasons, is that government is using Elon to remove crypto in line of currencies?

I'm afraid of the way all the crypto is reducing in price, now that i join digital cryptocurrency fully with my family and sale some of my properties to invest into crypto, it's when Elon musk will bring scandal into cryptocurrency.
I don't have any fear at all and you shouldn't too because I believe that all these people creating these fuds are the ones buying up the dips that most people like "YOU" are selling to them and this is no disrespect. Think about it,  Where is the Bitcoin that are been sold go to? of cause in the Wallet of others that understand what is going on, accumulating for future massive gains so I refuse to be pushed out and will be part of that future Gainers.  Cool
