I think the limit will always be how much bitcoin your wallet contains minus the fee.


How convenient that transaction was, sending half million bitcoin without fees and was confirmed almost instantly. How I wish it could still be done today.

And in some cases, even if you paid that much fees, your transaction will take more than half a day to be confirmed. I do not know how much more bitcoin users can take this. The more the miners delay the activation of any of the solution, the more damage it make to bitcoin.

What is good with alt is they can correct what bitcoin lacks in their implementation. I think, if there is an altcoin that can avoid the problems that bitcoin is facing right now, that coin can become the next bitcoin.

Online wallets are not safe either, even if you trust coins.ph, it is better not to store large amount of bitcoin in there. And you do not hold the private keys in coins.ph, so you actually do not have control over your bitcoins if they decided to become scam. Since you are investing for long term, hardware wallet will be the best option.

This is not true. I used to pay 60sat/byte and it gets confirmed within 10 minutes. But now, I am paying 100 sat/byte and I get confirmed after 24 hours. The fee is ridiculously high and since the price of bitcoin is high also, the fee in dollars is not justifiable.

i agree. it will never become as a global currency. bitcoin is only popular to internet/technology aficionado.
 just like here in my country, there places and people who are not aware of technology and internet. they do not have internet letiracy.

Lately I also have trouble logging in using my alias in blockchain. I think they disabled it already. I have to use my identifier to be able to log in in my account. That might be causing your problem in your old walllet. Your identifier is found in your email.

I think it is a good thing they are not giving away private keys or seeds easily. The owner are the ones responsible in keeping the private keys safe, not the web wallet. If you lost it, sorry, but it is your responsibility.

I guess it will be forever lost. My immediate family does not know how to use bitcoin. I am not that much worried though, I have only a few  bitcoins in my possession. If ever there comes a time it reaches a considerable amount, I have to train someone how to access my account.

If the problem with scaling and high fees are resolved, this may have a chance to happen. But since the clash between  bu and core does not make bitcoin to move forward, I doubt 3000 can be reached in a year.

Everything is going up right now. Bitcoin is green as well as other altcoins out there. If you know your altcoin is a p&d coin, it just takes a matter of days before it start to dump again. Otherwise, the price will hold for a long time.

Guessing means you are not sure with your answer which is true in trading because you will never get 100% right. Trading is educated guess because you have applied every thing that can be done to put your answer to the nearest possible outcome.

It is just an indication that these are bad coins already. You can still risk your investment and move your coins on other exchanges or your own wallet. But in my opinion, it is better if you dump those coins already.
