thanks for the effort...
has anybody "just installed" (i know it is tricky) windows 7/8 to a USB drive? even if the setup is slightly more tricky, it gives you a full regular desktop... I might try next weekend... (but then, a cheap ssd is only 50 bucks ;-) (sorry, not supposed to hijack your efforts/thread, but I guess around here would be the best chance to get some first hand experience)
I was gonna try that, using vmware, found a guide but it's a lenghty process.

Now that the maxcoin turbulences have slowed down a little, what rate do you get with a GT-640 on MAX? I currently get 24.8 mh/s on my card.
GT 640s rock so much You got the 4gb flavor? I'm still at 200mh/s, fixed my cpu temp issues and now it stays pegged there even while browsing (GTX 780 at 1306/3665) I'm gonna try scrypt and the rest again, my cpu was holding me back.

Hey guys, anyone getting good rates with SCRYPT mining? \cudaminer --algo=scrypt -l K95x4 -C 1 -i 0 -m 1 -o stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3341 -O username.worker:password
Getting 510kh/s .. best i can do for scrypt atm on a 780. Card seems to be running at around 72degrees... --- GPU LOAD 99% abit much for it? \cudaminer --algo=scrypt -l Z12x24 -C 0 -i 0 -m 1 -o stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3341 -O username.worker:password <--- updated. getting close to 600kh/s now I get 716kh/s out of my 780...1267mhz core and 3665mhz mem with these settings: -d GTX780 -m 1 -l Z12x24 -i 0 -H 2 -C2 With that being said, mining UTC at 400kh/s gives me 0.016btc/day, VTC at 300kh/s 0.014btc and maxcoin at 200mh/s 0.017btc a day vs scrypt's 0.012btc/day with the absolute best coins and a way higher power draw. (UTC is really light on power, like all scrypt jane coins, same with max, vtc and protoshares). Yeah, forgot about protoshares, that's pretty dan good too: 2100cpm = 0.73pts/day.

You guys never rest... Will keep an eye on your work, as usual, wish I could be of help.

hi i am running cudaminer in x86 but it just opens and closes instantly. here is my script, can u see what is wrong please thank you.
cudaminer -l K20x32 --algo=keccak --url stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3339/ --user mbmRnC83QsmVnarTi1WVJFYYZ5W7SjDmsC -p 1
What card? Settings might be wrong for the amount of SMX units or something.

Any way to run it in benchmark mode a la cudaminer?

My balance on max.netcodepool.org looking ... almost like PI Confirmed 3.141534 (PI is 3.14159265....) 1 MAX would be worth around 2 to 2,50 Euros currenty, I think. Pi, cool I'm getting 188mh/s out of my 780 at 1306mhz core and 1150mv. Accepted rate is 75% though (max.smalltimeminer.com)

Great, thanks man...I'm getting 188mh/s out of a 780 with cudaminer's latest release at 1306mhz core. If you can best that, then I'll have to give it a shot.

I cant wait for stratum to work for this. My nvidia card gets 4x the speed of Cudaminer and and 2x the speed of cgminer with aropenclmax
by the way what was added/changed in version 0.1b?
I need to sleep right now, would look tomorrow. In 1.0b a new intensity was added and developer fee. Interesting...nvidia working with this? I'd rather use your miner archit, keep up the great work. Been a cudapts user for a looooong time now.
1gh used to work...they must hate nvidia or something, come on!!!
archit can you port xpt for use with cudaminer? Your cuda pts program was amazing...

I got 1 accepted share after a while on a GTX 780 at 150mh/s...I'll leave it there for a while and see. Thanks for your efforts!
could it be that cudaminer does not interpret the difficulty from the pool correctly? so cudaminer tries to find much more difficult shares than required... Christian I have absolutely no clue...any way to test that?
Is there a pool that actually work with cudaminer?
Good question!
Ypool uses their own xpt protocol...not getwork.
anyone used ypool?
I can't get it to work?
tried the 3 pools and not seem to be working with cuda oh, too bad. So far cudaminer hasn't had much issues with stratum pools, apart from a missing redirect feature. I will see what I can do about it. but I need some sleep. I got 1 accepted share after a while on a GTX 780 at 150mh/s...I'll leave it there for a while and see. Thanks for your efforts!

Well, I'm having some issues with the scrypt windows binary... I was happily mining at 716kh/s with my GTX 780 Windforce at 1267mhz core and I tried higher clocks and crashed. Then I restarted and whenever I try to mine scrypt cudaminer won't make my card go past 953mhz (stock non-boost clocks?). I have a custom bios now that removes boost and can mine other coins at 1329mhz core with 1100mv only but cudaminer is still pegged at 953mhz core. Any ideas? EDIT: I second the donation part...cudaminer is my favorite mining program now, the dev is really ahead of the game. Bump...sucks that I can't mine anything other than PTS right now

What about that coinmyne site? They claim they have acquired cgremote and cgwatcher.
How would you go about getting into the beta for cgremote now?

I've seen it do 4, 5 and 6 gpus around the web...was interested in it myself.
Seems like a solid board, but for now I'd go with the z87 g45 + celeron combo. (although ethernet is a bit tricky to get working on linux)
