1261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive income with crypto on: August 07, 2023, 04:16:15 PM
-Mining
-Staking
-Commission referral

Something worth as passive in crypto is totally impossible. There are other factors on every aspect even doing a simple staking like the value dropped over long period of time. But this is a passive way to increase your holding since you get something. Mining bitcoin is really profitable and works as passive if your expenses wouldnt be expensive.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really not for everyone? on: August 07, 2023, 02:25:37 PM
I dont know who said that bitcoin isnt for everyone but considering its decentralized nature, it can be for everyone. Yes it is being purchased with real money but it doesnt mean you cant buy one at a small fraction isnt it? Its not like a premium item like louie vuitton whose not really for everyone since its an expensive product. A tech like bitcoin should be spread and dessiminate for everyone.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 07, 2023, 01:28:28 PM
And thinking that you will catch a good meme early is inherently wrong, because their success depends on the ability of the market operator, marketing and capital behind the project, and you can't guess that based on the name.
This is a rare chance unless you are a good spotter for developers with a lot of connection in marketing and very trendy socials like twitter. I think some do this by following their season influencer or particular wallets. Its kinda hard to sort out a very goof project on meme in dozens of choices and checking each is really time consuming.
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest Some Underrated potential altcoins for next bull run on: August 07, 2023, 11:57:01 AM
Now i just want to know some underated altcoins names that have potentiality to perform good like 5x to 6x in next bull run. Have you invested such altcoins or do you know such altcoins? You can suggest me, I'll analysis about those
There are plenty of choices out there. But its better to spreas your basket to many altcoins in order to gain more chances of winning on the next bull run. Of course we dont know if the previous ATH of the projects that fly will be the same or exceeded their last all time high and even if they could go back but its much better to add more new platforms that has potential and could be a game changer in the blockchain world like arbitrum, optimism, evmos, injective, arkham, and many more.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Base Launched! How to make profits on Base? on: August 07, 2023, 10:43:57 AM
In terms of volume I think base has incredible movement and tvl compared to linea. But the thing some dapps there arent trusted and Im not sure yet where to do my next activity on this network like focus on liquidity farming or do some memecoin hunting. With what the bald did seems traumatic for some degen but surely there will be good projects that will come out there. Also there is a stargate bridge now to base which is quite a good news.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A advise to my friend about his decision on: August 06, 2023, 09:32:26 AM
When my friend came to my house to tell me the story, I encouraged him to collect the coins and learn more about bitcoins, and he was furious to listen to me until I started the show and started explaining it to him. At that point, he was happy and walked back.
Probablt when he learned how many coins his father gave and you tell him how much did it worth thats why he change his mind. People nowadays ignore something they dont understand but when see its worth their eyes glow. Also you didnt mention any amount in this story?

Your account was newbie means you just created an account here? Or you already have knowledge about bitcoin even without knowing this forum exist?
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need a privacy coin that can only hide transaction amounts ? on: August 06, 2023, 09:02:12 AM
Im not sure about that. Im not a fan though since privacy in blockchain seems to break the idea of transparency but since its contradict the anonymous concept still be a huge importance to other people. Like the use of mixers which users prefer to use to hide their identity or erase tracks which is important for safety. Apparently we can all agree to that since people have different preferences.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Layerzero, Zksync airdrop hype over, is it next Zetachain ? on: August 05, 2023, 06:31:03 PM
My strategy to wait until the launch of main net instead of wasting my time to working on all of testnet tasks.
The fact that if i rarely saw project dropping their coin for the test net users. I expect nothing from testnet. That's pretty much the same as when linea was only giving NFT as a reward for all of test net participants.
I expect main net is always become the key point to be qualified for airdrop.
Actually mainnet is important for them but sometimes they also reward people who do testnet. Like the sei its not yet announcing an airdrop but from what Ive see they will give some rewards to some people who did their series of testnets. But like you said, some of these testnets are not giving off airdrop and focusing on mainnet alone. The difference is they incurred funds and of course free task are also good thing but we shouldnt expect really since its a 50% chance only.
1269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deciding Between Mining and Direct Investment on: August 05, 2023, 05:36:32 PM
If the electricity is cheap on your country and you got funds for nrw or second hand equipment then go for it. But if you think the money would cost would be so high to run it and not sure of the expenses then just invest directly and you dont need any things or you wont be hassle for. Its not easy to set up for mining as I have friends who started and eventually they close it too due to massive expenses and the earning is not worth it according to their observations.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: August 05, 2023, 04:39:29 PM
These 3rd party bridges like Orbiter, Symbiosis, Syncswap, etc., with no token is something that I am speculating for a potential airdrop when their token launches just like Uniswap did years ago.
Orbiter and syncswap did confirm of a token and possible that airdrop is line up on their end. However we cant be sure when they will deploy since they are probably waiting for zksync to launch first before doing their own. But compared to layerzero or zksync, I think the zro tokens will do it first. As per the zksync developers it will be at a later date.
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: August 05, 2023, 03:21:24 PM
Layerzero is looking big airdrops and i made more than 10 transaction and generated 3k$ volume and my target is 50 transaction and 10k$ volume this year.
Thats good to hear. But since there is no telling when or if snapshots has been taken this will be a long run. For sure its not done yet as the ceo seems wanted to make this a long journey and see how many platforms they can accomodate and using layerzero technology.  Maybe better to interact a lot on their partners or trusted affiliated projects especially stargate which we know thir first dapp.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: August 05, 2023, 02:17:29 PM
It's hard to be eligible in this kind of airdrop, back then you can do it for free but now it's getting harder because having an involvement and participation with the network are one of the requirements now. Though layerzero surely will have an airdrop for everyone who are early supporters and adopters but sadly only few people can participate with funds on their wallet.
Yeah sadly its changing now. But there are airdrops that are literally free. So if ever you got some free tokens that are worth a lot. You must use those fund to circulate and aim for other retroactive airdrops like layerzero. Some other hunter are only using those funds like cashing out but not investing or use it to gain activity on other potential ones.
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion about ETH on: August 05, 2023, 12:31:23 PM
Why we need L2 network and ETH..It seems like a deficient network repairing itself constantly.
Well someone isnt agree on other things right? Not all opinion can be the same for every developer out there. Plus why can make only one if there is freedom to develop their own version. This is likely the case since every project developer out there wanted to point out flaws of others and feels like they can do much better. Since its a decentralized space, we could see more of this being combine and created a sophisticated network.
1274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A "60 billion dollar" question! You don't want to miss out of the replies! on: August 05, 2023, 11:13:31 AM
I've heard a lot about the potential of Bitcoin as a store of value. Can someone explain how its scarcity and decentralized nature contribute to its value proposition?
Ive been interested in the title I thought of something exciting or something new project or innovation that is a worth billion $. But anyways, a lot of factors could lead to its value and not just the decentralized system but also it has history of many things in the past that makes it valuable today and could be more in the future. One thing is for sure though, adoption of bitcoin will expand more and more as people realizing how good blockchain in terms of store of value.
1275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Responsibilities of hierarchy in the forum on: August 04, 2023, 10:59:53 AM
If the links you are talking about are those malicious or scam one being shared here. Of course the one to blame are those who shared it regardless of the rank. There are some high ranks that do that and even newbies so no one can be spare with that since forum didnt allow those kind of activity here.

But there are people who will definitely reported that to moderators to avoid and turn down the post.
1276  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some of my Favourite Personal Texts of Bitcointalk Members on: August 04, 2023, 10:20:34 AM
Regarding personal text. Is a referral code base link can be allowed to put there?
You can include a link within the character limit but personal text is not designed to be clickable. If you include a link there it will appear as a plain text, which the user will have to copy and paste into a browser.
Oh I see. My bad, I think what Im asking, is about the email and the website link browser. But does this have any violation on forum rule in case Ive input it? But the website link will be viewed when someone click on my profile and view the email dialogue box.
1277  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some of my Favourite Personal Texts of Bitcointalk Members on: August 04, 2023, 08:39:25 AM
Regarding personal text. Is a referral code base link can be allowed to put there? Example arkham airdrop link then will hyperlink it to the text. Or does someone doing this? Would this be allowed since posting on threads as far as I know is prohibited and considered as spam messages.

Ive asked this cause Ive joined some referral projects too that are worth noticing and wanted to invite some but since referral isnt allowed might thinking if this method would be okay?
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi Regulation on: August 03, 2023, 03:05:34 PM
With the way "De-Fi" was designed, I hardly doubt the US government will be able to succeed in its efforts to regulate it for good. But knowing that they did sanction a decentralized mixing software like Tornado.Cash, tells me that we should not underestimate the government.
Government would likely less trust defi due to its nature. We can say its work like traditional banking finance but with the help of blockchain this could be done on their own as the platform served as your easy to go access while banks used personnel to do it for you while this one gives you the freedom to manage it well and monitor it anytime. But the exploit and breach is inevitable since codes might give ulterior problems when a hacker crack some flaws.
1279  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bold steps leads to another bitcoin achievement (New phone launched) on: August 03, 2023, 09:59:55 AM
Women power. Ive only noticed very few of the ladies doing forum and engaging here but its quite amazing to see that they are now increasing. At first I was hesitant to read the long post but the author is good on her introduction and let you finish the whole post. Congratulations with the ranking upgrade. Also dont forget to contribute on different threads and share your knowledge as well in the forum. Keep up the good work and surely you can even reach legendary in no time.
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool offers double project Sei and Cyberconnect on: August 03, 2023, 09:34:48 AM
Anyone farming already whats your expectation. Its hard to farm a lot. Like my cyber pool isnt moving and its really far from mining at least 1 cyber. Considering the launch price that could do x5 to x10 with the initial token salw of $1.8 each tokens. Possibly if you can farm like 10 to 20 tokens already good profit. So those who will received airdrop are totally lucky since its quite hard to gain a lot on launchpool.
