Manchester City aren’t doing bad but I think they’ll be superb when they’ve got the addition of Haaland and De Bruyne. You can see how much they suffered in the match against Tottenham. It shows that without Haaland and Debruyne together, they don't look very invisible like they were last season when they won 3 trophies, well it's a good thing Debruyne is back Atleast he could still deliver good passes to other attackers, until Haaland recovers.

 They had the chances but weren’t able to convert on those chances and that’s one thing that killed this team. Tottenham’s attempt in this game was just poor especially attacking wise even though the defense tried their best to maintain the match’s score. Well I think they’re missing Son, but yet still they can still perform optimally better and should learn to play without Son if they want to achieve something this season.

Well the Carabao cup is quite interesting and yes so also the trophy. This trophy added to the cabinet doesn’t just build up the club’s prestige but also helps to build the confidence of the players for the remaining quarter of the league season. Though some persons don’t see this trophy as important, I think the should change on that narrative and start to see it as a cup that can be added to make a treble then will they know how important the trophy is. All the same, it's an extra boost ahead of their subsequent encounters in the league games and one would expect that the tempo would be high. They'll be facing montpellier who are below them in the standings, hopefully it would boost them to get another victory.

Boey was an asset in the Turkish League and definitely he'd have made more impact with them but it's just very safe and essential that he moves on to explore competitiveness too. Bayern Munich will definitely work well on him. And also he'll get the opportunity to make name for himself in a big club that would offer him a starter in major tournaments if his stats are good

 They've got good team set up and he definitely would learn more with them. Normally, the rate for his purchase was low considering how advantageous his skillset is but the country of play also has an effect too. Sevilla this season have not lived up to expectation. They're more less far behind their usual range in seasons before. Then, they've even been opportune to stay in the UEL and even lift the trophy but currently, they're at a point where relegation is possible for them which is very bad.

 Just using them as a case study as there are other teams like them in other leagues. Their performance just at the beginning of the second half of the season wasn't encouraging. The subsequent weeks are unpredictable and there'll be positive or negative impacts on the squad and performances of the team. Maybe the change would effect a positive impact or maybe not but we hope to see what these teams unfold in their second half of the season after the January transfer window. The league races would definitely take a different turn for most teams.

Liverpool since Klopp joined the team have been impactful in all areas of contests they find themselves. They've pulled through series of finals and have lifted a number of trophies too. The manager has been a positive addition to them and it's understandable if the club can't let go of him yet. However they've got no choice than to move on since he's already made his choice to leave at the end of the season.

 This season, he's aiming for a number of trophies too, first when they take on Chelsea in the EFL finals, definitely the boss would be charged to win again. The European contests too is there. He's been able to put the team in the spotlight which they need to excel. The players he's worked with are definitely improving in their abilities too. Just like Pep in City, Klopp is been a savior to Liverpool and they'd definitely have to get to some greater heights before he exits the team soon.

Atalanta have been an improving side overtime. They've had some rough edges but their performance in the league is still seen. Even though they may not be top trophy contenders, they're trying to stay in the domestic league instead of relegating. Which is more important, maybe with time they would develope better and start contending for the title.

  They're currently playing host to Udinese and goodnews is they've been able to net a goal which still puts them in and advantageous spot of finishing with the complete 3points. Of both teams, there's struggle atmosphere present and even though the visitors won't take mercy with them, the both teams will strive to see that they either win or get a draw at the end. One would have to wait patiently for the game's final result. There'll definitely be an addition of points on both teams.

With everything that's happened in the German league from the start of the season till now. I'm certain that it won't be an easy ride for Munich. Alonso is making the manager's seat hot for him and Tuchel is striving to be meaningful to the team more than he currently is. The team won't want to be submissive to Leverkusen that just came out of the blue, even though it's really not a criteria for Tuchel's job to be retained, he just has to make the team stand out and prevail against Munich.

 The two sides are currently in thesame range and tempo and assuredly, the next few weeks would be heated up for the Bundesliga as both teams would take every game extremely serious.Tuchel has to regain Munich's pride, there's chance for him to do so, he just needs extra effort while hoping on a little of Leverkusen's back slide.

Well Klopp has achieved a feat at Liverpool and we’ve got to note he’s been there for over 9 years. Yes he brought them back from their dark age to Winning ways and while he’s leaving, he still wants to hand them a title this season, and it's very possible judging from their position in the league this season, most Liverpool fans would be sad he's leaving and would want him to stay for another season, but he's made his choice and the board has to be very careful when selecting another successor.

 Liverpool gave started making movements on getting a new coach who’ll immediately be able to blend in and fit the style of the team. For this fact I think they’ll want to probably hire any of their legends or a bery experienced coach. From the list, I think Xabi Alonso is the best qualified for this job, that’s if Leverkusen will let him go. When you consider the improvements he’s added to this Leverkusen side, then you understand why he’s best fit for the club.

Well we’re back to discussing Manchester United again. Well I think yes their performance is declining but I don’t see them going down beyond 10th position on the log because that’s a big team there. Well not like it’s impossible though, it’s very possible especially as they are not in a good shape now. I think the FA Cup match would be a boost to them if they win, they could take that boost to winning subsequent league matches thereby climbing up the log.

 They need to be wary of losing points now because they’re having close points or similar points with clubs beneath them and any point loss could result in them going down some more. Well I think ETH job is on the line as they could probably be eyeing Jose, but I don’t think Jose will want to come to a club like Manchester United.

Nigeria vs Cameroon is one of the top fixtures of this Round of 16 in the AFCON especially as the 2 teams are both top tier teams in Africa. Surprisingly, they both haven’t been able to attain the maximum satisfaction performance in any of the 3 matches they’ve played.

And this fact alone makes this match so hard to predict, but what can be said is that the best midfield in this fixture will take the glory home. Judging from this, I think Nigeria will get all the glory of this fixture. Andre Onana in between the sticks, I think he wouldn’t make much errors today but any error he makes and Nigeria capitalizes on it could be the only goal or should I say winning goal for the match. I think the Nigerian strikers should use Onana frequent errors to their advantage and score more than just 1 goal.

Barcelona not doing well in European competitions under Xavi is one big worry the fans are having for their round of 16 fixture. Yes, they’re facing Napoli who aren’t doing pretty well domestically but you can’t compare domestic form to European form. Napoli are superior than Barcelona in this fixture because they can take their chances and those chances could hurt on Barcelona. Well I think Barca and Xavi have lot to do if they want to get through Napoli.

 Winning the UCL consecutively is one crazy deal that’s only being achieved by Real Madrid. Now Man City trying to achieve that feat, yea I’ll say it’s somewhat possible especially if they’ve got the whole squad in full shape. Then I think think Real Madrid on the other end wouldn’t want this to happen again and that’s why I feel Madrid will be the only obstacle they’ll have to get the UCL consecutively.

Well Liverpool have won major trophies they need to win but Klopp wants all those glory days back especially as it could probably be getting old already in the memory of the fans. Yes, that’s one reason he’s built up his squad to be able to pose challenge for the league. And to be honest they've really tried this season to get this far, chances of them winning the league is very high, however they'll need to continue maintaining a good performance to make that possible.

 Yes, the squad he’s built have proven to be the optimum best and will be able to challenge for the league. And that’s one reason why they’ve continued to maintain their performance even with Mo Salah being absent. Klopp has built this team and currently they’re on fire this season and are seen as favorites for every competition they’re playing this season by this we sure know Liverpool will be having at least one trophy this season.

The most randomly used tactics solution when facing a bigger team is a defensive strategy that only obeys counter attacking. Bayern do not seem as a team that'll be vulnerable to this tactic but they still have to be cautious. They have all it takes to secure a big win, their players from defense to attack are so organized such that Kane doesn't have to make much struggle in winning the ball and placing at the back of the net.

 Tuchel is one skilful coach and he knows how best to counter the tactics that's put forward by opposing teams. Bayern Munich themselves are one team that makes winning so easy for them and there wouldn't be a surprise if it's thesame outcome in their next game. In as much as Leverkusen are currently at the top of the standings in the German League, there's still hope and opportunity and confidence in Munich to reclaim the top spot. The season has been quite competitive and challenging for Munich based on Leverkusen's awakened impact and standard of football. They've made Munich loose a winning point in their home ground and that definitely says a lot on how critical and technical their contest for the trophy is. They're not taking chances.

 Bayern Munich has had the show in the German League for a while now and truthfully they've so gotten used to it. This season may be the difference and they may have to sit back and watch someone else lift the trophy. It'll be bad and sad for them though that's why I believe Tuchel won't fold his arms and watch Alonso's Leverkusen take it all. They're just a very little point away from each other, with Munich to a pending match advantage too.
 

Ajax have not been at their best performances but they've definitely been winning games and have been consistent to it. Definitely a coach has his own impact in a team, once the head is faulty, there'll always be loopholes. It means a lot for a team to get victorious consecutively in a row and for Ajax, that's caused a gradual improvement regardless not doubting that they still have to put in more work.

 They've got players no doubt but the squad needs to be better, Ajax is a team better than a narrow win, at the moment though, finding the right player who's top and ready in all areas to give that competitive capacity in both the domestic league and the European leagues will be hard. Every team won't want to loose their kept men and every player that's be free are the ones that weren't so solid for the team.

 It's quite expensive to get for a team a high valued player no doubt and Ajax management may not likely be up to the task and it's going to be unsafe to settle for a less standard player. Their inconsistency is unhealthy and they just have to find a way to stop the wins from occuring through a narrow means. The coach is good at what he does but he has to improve himself and the team too, once all the necessary characteristics needed are in place, then it'll be an easy ride for Ajax.

Funny how you think Barcelona will make anything off this season’s UCL, like this team is poor and doesn’t have that winning mindset. Not just that but also the fact that Xavi haven’t been able to make it in European stage is another worry, it would take a miracle for Barcelona to get to the finals in the UCL, maybe it could be possible in seasons to come, but with their current form and squad I don't see them doing that.

 Well this team still lacks the creativity to challenge teams like Madrid and City for the UCL and it’ll be absurd trying to see them as contenders. They’re not doing well in their local league and going forward in the UCL I don’t see them performing better. Not this season, probably if they get things right next season they could pose a challenge. They need right and appropriate signings to help boost team’s performance and also they probably need a more experienced manager than Xavi.

Mo’s absence seems to be the news trending and also selling as the effect of his absence have been spoken about and still spoken about. Well yes, we know what Liverpool misses with Salah being out and I think the manager knows what’s Best for the club right now. He has to do everything possible to make sure the title doesn't slip away from them.

 They’ve got an FA Cup against Norwich which I think they can use this match to harness the way they play together and build their team work especially as Jota and Nunez are now being looked up to. Liverpool are targeting both the UEL, Carabao and League and they’ll try to still keep all hopes even with Mo absence. Yea, we know the importance of Mo in this team, which is one reason they’ve got to build up their team pattern so as not to reduce their hopes of getting a trophy.

Lyon is gradually becoming a relegation team and I know for sure that they won't want that for themselves. Their recent games have been so poor on their side and it seems like there's a huge work to be done. They have over 20 games to go and they have to secure at least 40 points to be out of the relegation zone.
Hopefully, they'd be able to play well a bit, win some games and draw some and also avoid much losses too because every loss will affect their chance.

 Extra efforts and determination needs to be put to the team and they've got face the reality of the battle they've got at hand no laziness or backwardness should be entertained too. Their league is not so competitive and they normally themselves have the strength before now to compete. There's still high chance for them. Asides the 3 points being secured, the goal margin should be considered too as it plays it's own role in keeping a club at the top.
