1301  Economy / Lending / Re: People taking too many loans? on: July 07, 2015, 09:53:38 AM
I can't say much about that but according to my personal experience in bitcointalk Some users buy trust to increase trust rating. Request a big loan and flew away
Some people take little amounts of loans from trusted users with green trust. When the user repays the loan Lender leaves a positive trust in it which is basically a easy free trust.
Some users also do trade and use trusted escrow to get extra trust point with totally free and some do currency exchanges of small amount from trusted members

These all are tricks to get cheap trust ratings and to scam someone after getting a cool green trust

So, lenders must take an Escrow of a Stable economic value and should give loans only after watching him/her last posts and trust ( read trust comments too )

If you found anything Suspicious. Just Decline the request because no one wants to risk their bitcoins in fake trusts

Hope this Helps Smiley

You would probably be wasting your time if you want green trust to scam with a loan because your account would be worth a lot and you wont get any big amount of money even if you have green trust unless you are extremely trusted, at most you can probably get around 0.3 maybe 0.4 with really good trust? I dont think so and your account its still worth around that amount or even more and you can rank it up even more to make it worth maybe even 1 bitcoin depending on your rank
1302  Other / Beginners & Help / One way functions on: July 07, 2015, 09:18:48 AM
Im not sure if this is the right section, lately i have been reading about a lot of technical details about bitcoins and i found something about one-way functions, theoretically possible but not proven yet, i was just wondering what would be a good candidate for such thing and how do they work exactly? I mean if i have something simple as x + 1 = 3 then its quite easy to calculate, and supposedly one way functions are hard or impossible to calculate backwards if i understood correctly. Would that mean a computer has to calculate backwards from knowing the number 3?? or how does that work
1303  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is forex really profitable? what statergies do you use? on: July 06, 2015, 07:59:29 AM
Very profitable.

Up 47k past week.  Need to find and figure out what works for you and stick to your plan.

I know quite a few people banking 40k daily.

Dont try to lure people into false hopes, getting 40k daily means that you are already investing a ton of cash, no one will get 40k daily investing 1k which is probably what an average person is willing to invest in this kind of stuff, also to get that amount per day everyday you need to have a lot of knowledge about it, not anyone can do it, its just like tipsters, yes there are few that make a good amount of money but its really hard.

But yes, it is profitable if you know how, dont just pick random stuff to invest and think that will make you rich, if you want that, might as well gamble.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: July 06, 2015, 05:42:19 AM
I think that what really blows my mind is the idea that after 79 pages of forum posts, there's really something more to say about "Does martingale really works?".

If reading through the 79 pages already got you here and you really still find something to debate about this, maybe it's time to make a new thread because surely that is no longer about whether it works or not.

I'm just saying, I participated a lot in this thread in the first 20 - 30 pages, I left links to the wikipedia, I made many of join probabilities, wrote explanations.  Then, I thought, it has all been said, we can wait for a few more late people to bump this thread a few last times and that will be it.  But now, months later and 40 more pages of thread and you guys are still writing the same damn questions over and over.  Please just look upthread and your questions will be answered and we can let this topic be finished and move on with our lives.  Please people, just read a little bit and you'll be surprised to find more information than you can stomach about whether martingale really does works!

Ok, I really needed to get that rant off my chest, and I also hope we might take it to heart and let this topic be done now.  Yes?

I know it really pisses me off seeing this thread bumped always and i told someone recently if he was posting here just to increase his post count and that its obviously the case for so many people, the thread should be locked.
1305  Other / Meta / Re: New Childboard in Market section on: July 05, 2015, 07:59:08 PM
I am quite happy with the way it is. Smiley
If it is a little hidden, and difficult to find for the new people coming in, it is actually good at reducing spam.

Having a separate child board will nevertheless give campaigns more attention, and there will be more signature farmers, and the related.
Well, the getting bumped part is right. Other than that, I don't see any reason for a new child board.

Edit: I propose one for Avatar campaigns Grin

Word "Campaigns" is too vague.
Too many definitions..

Not really?? It would be good to have "campaigns" as a section, there would be signature campaigns, avatar campaigns and social media campaigns, aside from those ones i dont really see anything else that can be mistaken with a campaign that is not
1306  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky shot on 999dice on: July 05, 2015, 06:32:58 PM
That site isn't provably fair at all, if you tried it with big base bet you might lose Sad
In 999dice, they'll let you win first, but in the end you'll lose. It happens to me once Sad

Because other casinos you will always win later right? Loosing does not mean they are cheating, as i said i managed once to get to 2 btc, if they were really scammers i dont think they would let me win that amount but you know, everyone has their opinion.
1307  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky shot on 999dice on: July 05, 2015, 05:09:01 PM
Wow, Nice another jr.member  promoting the 999dice scam.. the site were already proven that the owner can manipulate the results.. Stay away and avoid it at all cost

It's not about scam, but luck.
I know a few people who made more than 2 BTC with just 0.02 in their 999dice account, and I am not kidding here.
I would not advice to bet in any dice sites, it's just that you cannot say them scammers when you cannot prove it.

Sorry mate but it was proven time and time again, I guess you don't visit the scam accusation section do you? I don't have to post it for you do your research and understand it. Besides its a red flag that OP went dark after Stunna asked for a proof of the coins if they do exist.

Well they were never proven scammers 100%. The accusation was about that the owner could manipulate results if you are not verifying each bet, i once won 2 btc from 0.01 so i really trusted the site, i can even prove it if you want me to, the point is that yeah they might be a scam and i dont advice anyone to play there now but its not 100% confirmed
1308  Other / Meta / Re: Little question about reports on: July 05, 2015, 05:04:02 PM
Aha i see, i sometimes mark things as wrong section but from now on im going to write a little bit more info, thanks.
1309  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why are Signature Campaign prices base on the rank? on: July 05, 2015, 05:02:15 PM
Why are the payouts in sig. campaigns based on the user's rank?
Code:
Rates:
Hero member : 0.0015BTC per constructive post
Sr. member : 0.0013BTC per constructive post
Full member : 0.0009BTC per constructive post

I think it should be equal for all the user's. Whats your opinion?
Different rank has different restrictions. Lower rank has more restriction and high ranks can use better signature with more colors and characters.

If every user were paid the same poeple would create new accounts, make few posts and join signature campaigns and start filling the forum with worthless posts.
All the the first three post have told the same thing.LOL
Is this the only difference which results in such a huge difference b/w the payouts?
Shouldn't this difference be more justified?

Dude a newbie has no color nor link, how do you expect him to get paid the same as a hero member, besides higher ranks are better publicity for your site, right? Is rather have 10 legendary members wearing my signature than 50 newbies
Newbies to Members could be paid a little low,but I don't see a big difference in the signature of full memebr and that of a hero(Look wise)
A full member's signature is equally attractive as that of a hero member.

Did you read the next part of what i said? Higher rank members give better publicity to a site than a newbie, member or even full members, so we have, better signature with less limits, higher rank means better rep and also as another user pointed out, higher rank would probably have more posts and when you change your sig it changes to all your posts, thats 3 things to take in count, i think its enough to get paid more

1311  Other / Meta / Little question about reports on: July 05, 2015, 03:03:38 PM
If you report a post of someone that is spam or its in the wrong section and in the meantime it gets deleted or moved to the right section, will the mods mark your report as good or it will be marked as bad?
1312  Economy / Lending / Re: People taking too many loans? on: July 05, 2015, 07:42:26 AM
It's just the loaners trying to make a small profit off interest. Of course, there are risks too, like some time ago one guy with a big reputation and age on the forum scammed few hundred users.

This is not about the loaners but about the borrowers which esentially lose money taking so many loans if they use them for nothing, i really dont understand why people is so interested in building trust, aside from scamming, of course. You can still do business lr trades as long as you use escrow or collateral even with 0 trust
1313  Other / Meta / Re: New Childboard in Market section on: July 05, 2015, 07:31:17 AM
Hello,

I want to suggest a new childboard named Signature Campaigns in Market section. They are right now posted in Services as i dont think they are a type of service so they should have a particular board to avoid a kind of mess in services section.

Thank you.

This has been raised multiple times before. Mitchell's thread gives an overview and there aren't too many signature campaigns active right now.

Yeh but people, specially new people does not know about that thread and you can see a lot of threads created just to ask what signature campaign is the best or which ones are there, having the new section would prevent that, or at least reduce the number of people asking about it.
1314  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned - please help thx. on: July 04, 2015, 04:56:54 PM
well try to use your old username and password

the first time i received that email, i immediately changed my password
then when i tried to log-on to my account. I cannot log-in, then i used my old password and
i was happy that i have successfully logged on.

so try using your old username and password because maybe your new one didn't work

Dude his problem was already solved, dont you read? I have seen you posting twice in threads that are already solved for no reason, please stop.
1315  Other / Meta / Re: Going to make new account need help on: July 04, 2015, 04:53:28 PM
Well the first step to not get caught would be not to tell everyone that you are going to create a new account but yeah it will definitely solve your problems, more or less, you would have to rank the account up + you wont have any good trust either making it harder for you to scam
1316  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in poker players with bitcoin? on: July 04, 2015, 04:50:44 PM
You could do this by talking to poker players or maybe checking a poker site that has player stats and look for the best player then talk to him privately and maybe he would want to take your investment but if the player is really good then he probably wont need your investment and it would be risky for you.
1317  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Oyster instant bitcoin lottery raffle style game on: July 04, 2015, 04:47:56 PM
I think people are trying to over complicate this game!

Deposits are less than 0.1BTC I would understand if it was from 0.5 to 10BTC then it would make sense to use escrow.

To the site owner:
please note that there will always be people out there that want to discredit the work of others especially if they see you as competition or they just dont have their own sites and feel the need to cut down other peoples work. This is a great site and you have done a great job!

A great job to get people's money you meant? What great job did he do? Making a site that its pretty much like dice but with worse odds and waaaay slower, when you play lottery you expect to win a huge amount not dust, you have shitty odds on normal lotteries but you can get huge jackpots, its what makes people intersted

I've won 3 out of 4 games, the more people that deposit the bigger the jackppot.

Then dont play the game simple, but seriously dont hate so much it's not a good look! BitcoinTalk has turned into a hating ground and it's so sad!

I will be playing your game knfproductions! Well done!

This is a forum, i can give my opinion, we are not allowed to hate now? We should worship every gambling game?? That brings nothing new to the business of gambling? I didnt play the game nor i intend to, whats sad is people like you who try to censor opinions
1318  Economy / Services / Re: 2xCrypto.BIZ signature campaign - paying 0.3 a month! on: July 04, 2015, 03:13:24 PM
Nobody is going to join this unless you escrow money, but we all know you're not going to do that.

i suggest you to use escrow or you wouldn't get any participants (except negative trusted users i guess) but i doubt there is trusted user willing to be a part of your ponzi campaign

Then you would be wrong, recently a staff member participated in a ponzi signature campaign, anyways he obviously does not want to use escrow because his plan is simple, wait 1 month for free advertisement and then run away with the money he got from people who ''invested''

Hardly participated in one. He wore the avatar of Cloudthink (I think) for a couple of days until he removed it due to pressure.

Hardly? How do you hardly participate, he had avatar + personal message, how is that hardly?? Here is the thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1092890.0

He removed it because the rates were too low actually, you can read it on the thread, my point stands.

Ooh, avatar and personal message. That changes everything /sarcasm. If he had the avatar in for a short whole then he hardly participated. If a person only makes a few posts here then I would say they have hardly posted. Correct? So if someone does the same on a signature campaign then removes it I would say the hardly participated in the signature, so my point still stands. Also, cloudthink isn't a blatantly obvious ponzi unlike this one.

When you change your avatar, all your previous posts would have that avatar as well, dserrano is a STAFF member, my point was that people participates in this kind of campaigns without escrow because it already happened before, thats my whole point, you are talking about things that have nothing to do with what inwas trying to tell the other guy, i mentioned the staff member to emphasize that people DO participate in these campaigns

1320  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: June 30, 2015, 07:59:34 AM
Accusations without any proof at all are useless...

Funny you say this, because that is the entire reason this thread was created. When people damage your reputation without proof using the trust system, all there is to do is point at the accuser. How exactly do you prove a negative? Why should people be guilty until proven innocent?

Funny that VOD never did that, ''systematic abuse'' Maybe he was mistaken once or twice but i wouldnt call that systematic when  he has around 99% accuracy with his ''reports'' or trust ratings
