1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The Price Of Bitcoin Increase Forever? on: March 22, 2018, 09:21:57 AM
As I heard a lot of prediction about bitcoin that it is going to $ 1mn till end of 2020 and people will see it soon. As a holder of bitcoin I am always worried that bitcoin may not go down as I am much money in it. I mostly think that I should sell my bitcoin now and make my money but also fears to post the train of bitcoin. So what are you people suggestions that will bitcoin will always continue to grow or will it stablize at some price or may go down?

With bitcoin having a limited supply bitcoin will eventually become like gold, where people have it saved and its price keeps on going up because of how the market runs on demand and low supply, so if you are afraid that the price of bitcoin might hit the ground some day, than i can ensure that such thing will never happen, and if you really want to make some good profit out of it be patient because that is what this market needs.
1302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invest on Bitcoin now or wait? on: March 21, 2018, 11:11:20 PM
I missed the last dip and am wondering if I should hold out for another oucoming dip or if the current price for Bitcoin are still decent.
It is really hard to predict when and how the price can change to, for all we could now the price could start tomorrow going up real fast and you find yourself missing investment, or the price could go down real fast and you would be able to buy more, for all we know the price will eventually start going up to some real high levels but when  exactly is the unkown, my point is stop wondering about what if and do it, invest now and you will defiantly see profit in the near future.
1303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysts expect the fall of Bitcoin to $ 2,800 on: March 20, 2018, 10:03:21 PM

Analysts expect the fall of Bitcoin to $ 2,800. According to Day, the penny is the same as in 2013. If this trend continues, in the near future Bitcoin may fall 76% from the peak in late February: reaching $ 2,800.
No one has any idea what they are talking about, no really knows the path up ahead that bitcoin will go or what price it will reach, last year no one had any idea that bitcoin will go from 1000$ to 17000$, and no one expected it to stop going up and starts going down, all people do is say prediction based on their interest, if they want the price of bitcoin to go down they say it is going to fall, so don't believe what they say.
1304  Economy / Economics / Re: Money laundering tools on: March 19, 2018, 09:14:48 PM
In my opinion, BTC is not a traditional currency like gold and silver because it does not have any use value, so it is not a credit currency. It's basically just one use, money laundering tool. The tool explains why bitcoin prices are spread across the country and abroad. Domestic money is changed into bitcoins and then physical transportation to overseas exchange for foreign currency escapes regulation and the cost of money laundering is lower than before, and the risk is low.
It is true that bitcoin provides anonymity to its users, giving the chance for those with the wrong intentions to make use of its nature, money laundering has existed long before bitcoin did and it won't ever stop, because there can't be a perfect system that prevents it, people will always find a way, so blaming it on bitcoin is just an excuse to bring it down, because some people can't benefit from it.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banning of crypto ads on a few social media on: March 19, 2018, 08:07:27 PM
Share your views on why some social media want to ban advertisement on crypto related stuffs and what will happened if one day twitter also stop crypto advertisement as it is one of the most shared platform for crypto now.
The social media banning these advertisements comes after crypto related companies have flooded these networks with their ads, from trading platforms to cloud mining sites to casinos and ICO which have been multiplying like crazy since last December, i personally saw this coming because i personally have grown tired of these ads constantly piping up in my profiles even though i am not that interested in investing into them and i can see a lot of people having the same issue and probably that is why they got removed, it might influence the crypto market a bit but not that much, because it survived before any advertisements were made and it will survive after they are gone.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it the end for cryptocurrency?everything is red! on: March 19, 2018, 06:05:26 PM
the market continues to fall, the demand for coins decreases! in the markets everything is red!
google does not support crypto!Facebook and Twitter are opposed to companies that are related with cryptocurrency!
is there a future? when to wait for change and growth?
The current time may seem harsh and the cryptocurrency market is taking a hit from every direction, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and we will reach it, crypto will survive and will stand tall once again, because there is a huge community that is backing it up there is always people supporting and as long as there is money and investments involved in it we will see it rise a gain, besides there are some good new here and there that always keeps our hopes up and eventually the prices will start going up again.
1307  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down??? on: March 19, 2018, 01:13:12 PM
Is it because of the large number of altcoins?
Since last year's bitcoin price pump a lot it got so popular to the point where the network started witnessing some high traffic, transactions were stuck and miner fees got crazy high, since than people started looking at other investments options in the cryptocurrency market, and so it happens that ICO were the thing back than so people started investing in them and so they got really successful and really popular, and that has affected investments on bitcoin .
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin work as a currency ? on: March 19, 2018, 11:56:47 AM
Bitcoin isn't attached to a state or government, so itu doesn't have a central issuing authority or regulatory body, bassically, that means there's no organizational deciding when to make more bitcoins, digiring out how many to produce, kering track of where they are, so how does bitcoin work as a currency ?
Just like the dollar bitcoin is a currency but instead of having a physical form it is crypto, meaning that it is encrypted with sequence stored in a public peer to peer network that is the blockchain, every bitcoin transaction is recorded on this network, which prevents people from spending the same bitcoin more than once, so every time you send a bitcoin transaction miners take time to verify that it is not duplicate, and since bitcoin has a limited supply it is essentially like gold where its value keeps on going up every time this supply goes down.
1309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a criminal tool? on: March 19, 2018, 10:54:21 AM
In bitcoin's pyramid scheme, criminals have exploited the greed of people's ignorance and dreams of the currency. The essence of pyramid selling is a ponzi scheme, where a bitcoin is not fundamentally different from a tulip or a box of cosmetics.

In the event of an hacker blackmail, criminals use the anonymity of the currency, trying to escape legal sanction, COINS and cash here, there is no essential difference between just more convenient, lower cost.

In money laundering, drug trafficking, and terrorist crimes, criminals use the anonymity and high mobility of bitcoin to hide the flow of funds, which is the same as the effect of using cash.
Everything is a criminal tool if used by the wrong people and for the wrong reasons , there is no such system that is flawless there will walkways be people trying to go around it and exploit it, and bitcoin is no different, it is true that it provides anonymity which is good way for criminals to do all their illegal activities without being traced, but it also helps people who are not using it for illegal stuff to keep their identity and personal information from being stone, the point is for every con there is a pro and in my opinion it all depends on the person using it.
1310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Serious, I Started To Worry...... on: March 19, 2018, 09:21:53 AM
Now I feel worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto in general because every time there was a price correction I saw most people are not worried about the price and they all had the same opinion about it, they all said to wait and hold your coins or buy new more, but now I see that there are different opinions about it, that makes me really afraid of what happens now.

is it serious guys that it is over or what?
I don't know what makes you think that it is over, just because some people who just came here for the money, who have no idea about how the market works, they just recently heard about bitcoin and wanted to get rich but they were disappointed because it did not meet their false fantasy, so they go around saying that bitcoin is bad and cryptocurrency is not good, i know we all have a our opinions but some people have the wrong idea and people should know better than to listen to them, as long as there are people supporting bitcoin and as long as there is money involved in this market, than, it will always live on.
1311  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption and the Scalability Problem. What can normal users do to help? on: March 19, 2018, 08:44:17 AM
I have reached a conclusion that Bitcoin has almost got to the highest adoption it can sustain and we can't get to a higher adoption without solving the scalability problem first. As:
Higher adoption ----> more transactions per second ----> higher tx fee/time ----> inability to do smaller transactions ----> less adoption.

We can see this happening when Steam stopped accepting bitcoin in December last year after the high surge in its transaction fees.

What I find weird is how slow things are going. SegWit adoption is low and LN is not activated yet. Even when LN is activated I don't know if it would solve things up.

What can we do to help?
What comes to my mind is that we should start using SegWit addresses for all our transactions. I think if more bitcoin users show interest in SegWit and LN it would encourage their adoption among wallets and other services.
Any other suggestions on how we as a community can help solve the scalability problem?

PS: Though technically it's not a technical question but I preferred to post it here and get useful replies rather than posting in bitcoin discussion and having to deal with all the spam.
Most of the bitcoin users don't care about the scalability of the bitcoin, they only care about its price, most of them use online wallets like blockchain and coinbase, and unless they start adapting segwit than the users won't bother sending their funds from there to a segwit supported wallet because they would have to pay for it, i don't think that even if we all start using segwit addresses the problem would be solved entierly, but LN might.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 19, 2018, 08:09:16 AM
Did anyone here have experience a walk of shame (Walking home since you have a loss all your gambling money in just one snap)? Well, It did happen to me once and I'll never do that again. It was the bad year for me (Peek of my addiction), I normally left my atm/credit card at home if I were to visit a casino and have enough money wih some changes for my stay, food, drink and my fare. The first time it happens to me is when I was so frustrated because I can't win up to point I already spent my allocated money for my fare. I was devastated that I need to go home at 3 a.m. with no money literally and I haven't got a phone in me (which make it worst). Started walking from the casino going home it was the longest walk I ever made I pity myself and upon arriving at home my wife and my kids are already awake, I just can't bare to look at them. I don't even know what to say at that point. I just walk in shame, in front of my kids.

How about you, have experienced it? We all have different interpretation on "Walk of shame".
Everyone had that bad day when everything goes opposite the way you wanted to, but i don't think gambling was a good choice for you in that situation buddy, you don't have the money you already feel like shit and yet you still go to the casino to gamble, if that isn't called addiction than i don't know what is, if you barely had enough money you should'v know better and went back home rather than making it worse with gambling.
1313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade right and right? on: March 18, 2018, 09:34:22 PM
how to trade the good and right so that we do not lose?
Can anyone advise to me on a trusted site?
For seniors please guidance ... Wink Wink Wink
In my opinion Poloniex is one if not the best trading platform out there, i have been using it for 2 years now and it has never let me down, the best thing about this trading site is that it has a wide variety of coins to chose from, so if you are looking to trade bitcoin ethereum or other coins you will find them all there, on top of that poloniex has a low exchange fees to make it easier to switch between currencies.
1314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Advice Needed on: March 18, 2018, 05:49:16 PM
hello everyone!
I am quite new to the cryptos, however Im very interested in learning and discovering the trading process of cryptos!
Therefore, I would like to ask crypto traders for some advices about how to better learn the trading process and how to start trading. Thanks in advance!
 Smiley Smiley
The best advice that we can give you is to experience trading yourself, so you could build your own knowledge and develop your own way of doing things, trading is fairly easy you just have to be patient and be smart about your decisions, and do things based on what the majority of people do, i would suggest to start off low and put your investments into coins that are well known and have a strong potential to rise in the future like bitcoin and etehreum, and once you get the hang of things you can diversify.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO project should I choose? on: March 18, 2018, 12:04:04 PM
Hello everybody! Hope you are doing well. The second month I have been thinking of investing money in ICO project. Do you think it is a good idea or I should just continue trading cryptocurrencies? What is the main keys what I have to look on? I am making research by finding ICO projects on rating agencies and ICO listings. What should I also look on?  Thank you in advance for your answers.
ICOs are a very good an easy way of making a fair amount of profit from cryptocurrency, when looking at an ICO you should first take some time and read about their project and ideas and see if it is innovative and revolutionary and could potentially be successful, if so then it has a very good chance of surviving this market and its coin could get a lot of investments and people putting their money on it, good ICOs always end as soon as they open so you have to be prepared and ready to quickly buy, and then starts the waiting game until the coins is listed on an exchange so you can start thinking about your profit from it, and if you made the right choice than you will make a good amount of it.
1316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is for long term investment on: March 18, 2018, 10:31:34 AM
If you want to have a short return of investment then not invest on bitcoin. Bitcoin is so volatile that even it increase and decrease in second. Most people complains about their loss on the price drop, I got loss too, but you will be broke when you sell it on a low price. If  people would be patient to wait a bit more then all would be good. Who else make millions on just a week ? None. Im saying this not just to promote holding but also encourage all those crypto users be patient and be calm on the price drop. Youre still not loss until you sell it on low price. Hold it for a while, if you are weary and try investing on others like ICOs until you almost forget it and go back when it pumps again. Nobody know when would it be increased but it would. Be strong people.
I agree, with the bitcoin price skyrocketing last year, it has gotten real popular and a lot of people who were using and holding bitcoin got a real good amount of money, the popularity of bitcoin brought with it many new people who are looking to become rich, who have no idea how the market work they just throw their money and as soon as the price goes down they start complaining about how bitcoin is bad and dead and they lost their money, cryptocurrency is a patience game, people haven't been able to make millions of it in a night, they waited and wait and they supported bitcoin when no one did and they have got the fruit of their labors, and if you don't have the patience to do like them than it is not the place for you.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: March 18, 2018, 09:45:37 AM
Hey guys!
i need some new strategies
my bank: 0.5
share yours  Grin

If its your only money and i can't afford to lose it, than i would suggest to forget about the idea of putting it all in a dice game, and instead invest in other things, because there is no such thing as a strategy, dice games are not always the same, anyone could give you the steps that he did to earn some good profit from it but that does not mean that it will go the same for you too, but if you have more money than you know what to do with it, than there are a lot of people out there that are selling scripts for popular gambling sites like bustadice, i personally never tried them but some people claim that they have got some good results from using them.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: March 18, 2018, 09:12:12 AM
Have you ever wonder why even there are a lot of negative things gambling bought, it still doesnt leave us ? Is that so, gambling has been a part of our culture , even you have plenty or not. Rich people often socialize in the form of casino, while the poor are contented on country games with lower bets. I, as a person living on a third world country, witnessed how gambling form our culture. Town celebrations or "fiesta" are not complete without low cost gambling houses called "perya" where you can bet starting from almost $.02 and above. Every corner of the street has some kids playing coin games and even a wake makes its company awake using card games. Weird isnt it? How about in your country?
In my country casinos don't exist, the only casinos are located where there are a lot of tourist, not because casinos are illegal but because gambling has never been introduced into our culture like in other countries, people don't know how to play poker or dice or any other games, the only sort of gambling that exists in our country for the public is sports gambling, i think you are right gambling is a sort of a part of a culture.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best country for crypto? on: March 17, 2018, 08:05:40 PM
What's the greatest country for crypto?

I'd say it's Estonia:
"Today, almost all public services in Estonia are digitalised and accessed through secure digital identities that are provided to every citizen and resident."

"In Estonia, this distributed ledger gives citizens and residents more control over their own data."

"Estonians can log into their own records using their digital identities and then see exactly which medical professionals have done the same and when."

I think Switzerland is also a great country for it - long tradition of banking and privacy, crypto is an asset, government open to crypto, so on.
In my opinion, recently a lot of governments have been looking at cryptocurrency as a burden and they are constantly trying to ban it and regulated, but not until recently where Germany stated that she will be accepting cryptocurrency as an asset and utilizing it and even not taxing it which seems too good to be true, where it is the case, which makes Germany right now the paradise for every investor anyone involved in the cryptocurrency market.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the cryptocurrency market broken in its current form? on: March 17, 2018, 07:11:33 PM
I am a big believer in blockchain and crypto and it's potential to revolutionise many aspects of daily life. But has the FUD, infighting, dramatic increase in the number and volume of pointless currencies, and attempts by large institutions to control the industry, ultimately led to the prolonged bearish market we have seen since December? If this continues, could the next big scandal lead to a catastrophic effect, that could have an irreversible decline?

Last year, the cryptocurrency market was becoming more and more popular, because everyone though it was a good investment and a way of getting fast and big profits, so everyone wanted to make money out of it, and this has lead to this market going up and raising millions and billions of dollars all of a sudden, which got the attention of governments who for a long time have forgot about it, and with governments looking at people making profit from this uncontrolled market without paying taxes, decisions needed to be made, which have affected the price of all cryptocurrency.
