1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your bet? how many years could bitcoin go to its highest? on: April 30, 2021, 07:26:49 AM
This is just my hunch but if we have a continuous support of money from institutional investors then we could probably reach it by the end of the year or in one year or probably another halving will cause the prices to increase again.
1362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: April 30, 2021, 06:55:51 AM
What you share has no basis, it's only based on your personal opinion but I'm not saying it's impossible.

Actually, I'm doing the same, I'm waiting until bitcoin will drop, and then I will not anymore miss the opportunity to buy.
Let's not follow or ride the FOMO, there's always a good opportunity and that is when there's a huge panic.
If you don't have a bitcoin that you currently hodl, I implore you to get some right now so at the least if the prices go up, you still have some bitcoin profit to get in compared to waiting to an uncertain event and it didn't happen and you didn't get anything out of it.
1363  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to bitcoin price? on: April 30, 2021, 05:33:26 AM
You are looking at the price of bitcoin in such a short-sighted manner, if you look over all, the price has got so far and a little price correction didn't hurt anybody. It doesn't really matter if you are bitcoin is going down because in the grand scheme of things, it will eventually go back up.
1364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: April 29, 2021, 11:23:26 AM
can't be used as an excuse if bitcoin drops at $ 40k. currently bitcoin is still holding above $ 50k to be exact $ 53k, I am sure that even though bitcoin drops to $ 40k it is just a correction and not to worry because bitcoin will definitely rise.
Correction or not, I still see that price drop as an opportunity to buy bitcoin at a lower price and get more profit when the prices starts pumping back up. I don't think that bitcoin will ever go down at 40k or below anytime soon with institutional investors still pouring money in the market.
1365  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 29, 2021, 10:28:02 AM
What's supposed to be the reaction of the people in the crypto space should be regarding Tesla selling some of their bitcoin to prove liquidity and get this, the people doesn't have a contribution to the bitcoin bought by Tesla so what are we supposed to react, should the people go apeshit that Tesla spent their own bitcoin?
1366  Economy / Economics / Re: How a digital EURO may look like on: April 29, 2021, 09:39:50 AM
If the government continues to implement digital currency that has a way of tracking your movement, I am pretty sure that there isn't going to be a lot of people that are going to like it. Also, privacy is a commodity in this world full of technology that tracks you. Remove the ability to trace the movement of the people and make it favor the people.
1367  Economy / Economics / Re: EFFECTIVE INVESTING STRATEGIES on: April 29, 2021, 08:58:20 AM
It seems like you are talking about business strategies not the investors strategies, in reality investors are not going to take any effort to make their investment profitable but their job is to find the growing company which has potential and at any time they can exit from the company if it is in the downtrend.
That's what I thought too because the only strategy that I use is hodling and continuous bitcoin accumulation and I have to say that it is a really effective strategy that is proven to work and I have benefited a lot from doing it.
1368  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: April 29, 2021, 08:20:46 AM
~
Not only poor countries but also economic powers are also severely affected by the epidemic. America is an example, I didn't know you noticed when the epidemic affected their employment so much. I am also really scared that if this situation goes long and there is no solution, it will lead to even worse consequences.
The world got to complacent just because we didn't experience wars, they become loose in terms of handling extreme events. You are right, economic power did suffer because we weren't prepared, after all of this pandemic is over, I hope that we will learn from it and never have this kind of thing happen again because we can't go against another pandemic.
1369  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: April 29, 2021, 07:44:47 AM
~
I am interested in your last statement, a lot of money means a lot of problems, I think, I totally agree, with us a lot of money it is possible to handle a lot of business, of course there will be a lot of problems. but a person who has financial freedom certainly doesn't have many problems, because money works for him
I am just a keen observer, because if you look at it there are a lot of rich and famous people who can't handle their problems so they decided to end everything like Kurt Cobain, Heath Ledger, River Phoenix and Anthony Bourdain to name a few. Not to mention that Notorious B.I.G won't make Mo' Money Mo' Problems if it isn't a real thing. If you can handle the businesses then good for you but in my opinion, I think that the way to relieve this problem is that while making money, you also should consider doing a vacation and have time for yourself.
1370  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: April 29, 2021, 06:09:56 AM
~

only because governments choose to subsidize oil over solar.

simply make oil pay for all the spills and all the pollution it does. and gas cars are no longer cheap.
It's deeper than that, they don't want their oil baron friends stop paying their vacations and their grandsons college fund so they have to do anything they can to make oil and fossil fuels as an energy source not to mention that when green energy is introduced, a lot of businesses are going to go under because they are not green energy and they will lobby everyone in power to make it impossible to fully adopt green energy.
1371  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden's IRS Plans Could Boost Crypto Adoption on: April 29, 2021, 05:30:06 AM
It would further bolster their plans if they increase the taxes on big businesses and billionaires and reducing the military budget and investing in their healthcare to make it less expensive or much better is free. That means that if lowlife and tax evaders go into crypto, then it will further make it all the reason that bitcoin is used for criminal activities.
1372  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: April 29, 2021, 04:53:03 AM
For me, a rich person is someone that has a big and extravagant house, has a lot of spare money, has a diversified investment and has some sort of business and finally they are also happy with what they have and they don't see having more money as a reason to have more problems.
1373  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: April 29, 2021, 04:13:12 AM
I honestly don't understand why people valuate Tesla at such high levels.

It virtually makes no sense. People are essentially pricing in decades worth of earnings growth into an unprofitable company. Automakers that have been making profits for decades, like BMW and Mercedes, are somehow outpriced in terms of market cap.

A 50 P/E ratio is considered to be bubble territory. Tesla currently has a four digit P/E of 1,100. Think about that.
Well, my guy the reason that make a big deal out of them is because they have a relatable CEO and they are almost the talk of a lot of forums and message boards. Not to mention that they are innovative in terms of automobile, the reason I believe that they are unprofitable is because electric cars in general are still expensive compared to gas powered guzzlers.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 28, 2021, 01:24:46 PM
Everyone could engage in gambling discussion regardless of gender because gambling is for everyone who is interested in it. As for me, everyone is welcome to share their insights about gambling because there's gender equality in gambling and the crypto world. We should accept the fact that women nowadays could do what men can do.
I agree, the only time that someone isn't allowed to participate is when that someone is an insufferable asshole that doesn't contribute anything to the discussion. The only time that these kind of thing is considered is when people talk about it, stop talking about it and treat everyone equally then you are good to go.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: April 28, 2021, 11:37:55 AM
That's a crazy strategy from them on the 3rd game. Mid troll and carry Anti-Mage.
It's not a crazy strategy because Troll and AM are a common picks in pub games, maybe the Troll pick was unusual but AM as a carry isn't that crazy, I think that it is actually a good one because Troll can tank the hits and as a Midlaner can help in terms of objectives which AM alone can't do in a pro DOTA scene.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 28, 2021, 11:00:27 AM
~

The fact that I have found by now has started a lot of responsible gamblers, because usually a gambler who releases the responsibility is
because the gambler is addicted and cannot control himself. So if in such conditions it is very normal that many gamblers give up responsibility,
it is important that we limit ourselves when playing gambling. Because if we get addicted, we will definitely let go of responsibility and can
eventually damage the gambler's life.
It is important to limit our gambling habit but you have to tell that to the gambling addicts and they will probably laugh at you because they have already did it and yet they are still there spiraling out of control because of their addiction.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ibrahimovic under FIFA and UEFA investigation on: April 28, 2021, 10:15:25 AM
~
So far it does not seem as if there was any wrongdoing except of being a partial owner of the company, many people may think this is not a big deal but it is, the whole point of a sport competition is to see two competitors doing everything they can in order to win, but if one side has an incentive to not do so then there are going to be suspicions about their performance even if they never intended to fix a single game and this is what we are seeing in the case of Ibrahimovic.
You are right, although this is a bit sad ain't it? That if you are an athlete you can't have any stake in business that will directly affect your performance in the game but how come betting sites can sponsor the players? Yes they don't have a stake directly but if they want to, they caan probably throw the game.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 5 on: April 28, 2021, 09:33:39 AM
That's always the risk with an exbition fight, but I still think/hope that Floyd will give him a KO after a couple of rounds.
Is there really anyone that will pay to view this PPY? This is again a match that I am not really looking forward to...
This is an exhibition match and knowing how Floyd works in the ring, there will be no knockout. High chance that it will end in a decision. Yes there will be people that will pay to watch this, just cause you don't look forward to it doesn't mean that everyone shouldn't too, this is not a hive mind and you are not an influential person to affect how others think.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 28, 2021, 08:40:13 AM
Receiving notifications from casinos via email isn't good only for players who can be benefited by bonus, free spins and other promotions offers, but also for the casino as it's a smart way to get attention from users who are offline from the platform from a long time. It's an opportunity to bring these gamblers back to the site in order to make them play again.
Of course some people get annoyed with so many messages arriving daily on their emails, depending on how many casinos they are registered, but there is always the option to not receive notifications disponible on each platform.
Although it is effective, it can be pretty annoying for the users if they have a lot of notification emails that they send to those players, if you are not a casual player then you will benefit from it but if you are a casual one then you can probably get something out of it.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: April 28, 2021, 07:48:03 AM
Thanks for the news! It was very hard to believe that a country like UAE, with its strict laws, that are to a great extent based on religious views would allow gambling. Damn, they don't even allow alcohol without a special government-issued license, as far as I know. Now everything makes sense.
Although it's still kind of sad that they prohibit such entertainment, all the while people run much illegal stuff over there, such as money laundering and drug trafficking. I think it would be wiser to focus on those instead.
There are other ways to be entertained, as if gambling is the only one that can make someone entertained. Even if they focus on illegal things, there is only so much that they can do and it isn't sad because that's just how their religion dictated state is, if something is prohibited then it should be prohibited.
