Does anyone srsly waste all the time around making bitcents?
we wish. no, we waste our time making fractions of bitcents. as someone said earlier, it's a simple way to offset transaction fees. but it's also a good way to notice new sites being advertised.

Default is also 0 confirmations, but you can pass a confirmations parameter if you want something different.
hmmm... i tried confirmation= confirmations= conf= minconf= and none worked for me. ...and i've run out of guesses

sorry one more question if you don't mind... how many confirmations does the 'total_received' amount relate to? is it 1+ and is there a way to get the 0 conf amount?
It is 0 confirmations. Btw if total_received is the only thing you need your better off calling /q/getreceivedbyaddress with multiple addresses e.g. http://blockchain.info/q/getreceivedbyaddress/14Dj368DZyFPDbSbERf53wcGLWefsZUamn|1HLFLgrwQRuFVu1dhjjPLWqY314DsMjRco|19Wv538dbmoMTtoGPxwqD8N6ZYzFyMBL2U Default is also 0 confirmations, but you can pass a confirmations parameter if you want something different. thanks... but that url adds them all together into one amount. i need a list of total_received per address. did you modify/customize your bitcoind to be able to provide this info? if the standard one could do this i might not need to use a 3rd party api.

i was just re-visiting this problem today and found out that blockexplorer won't work after all... putting 0 for the minconf results in: ERROR: you must use an integer above 0 for minconf

so, am i to assume that the limit on the number of addresses queried is related to the GET specification?
400 is the limit for active addresses, i'd split it into multiple calls if you need more. okay, just curious... don't need anywhere near that many

apologies for the ignorance, but could someone give an example of how to call multiaddr?
the documentation under /api is a bit (a lot) vague.
thanks.
The usage has changed a bit recently. There is now few parameters: Mandatory: - "active" - addresses which you want included in the final balance. Optional: - "archived" - addresses which you want included the results calculations but don't want included in the final balance. - "offset" - skip the first n results - "filter" - show only transactions of a specific type: sent = 1, received = 2, moved = 3, escrow = 4; Separate multiple addresses with | e.g. http://blockchain.info/multiaddr?active=1Cp3FEaXFkSutXGYHKuNkkeYog6bsHpk7a|1HLFLgrwQRuFVu1dhjjPLWqY314DsMjRco|19Wv538dbmoMTtoGPxwqD8N6ZYzFyMBL2U&archived=14Dj368DZyFPDbSbERf53wcGLWefsZUamn thanks! so, am i to assume that the limit on the number of addresses queried is related to the GET specification? or can one POST a larger list?

^^^ i don't get it... i suppose these are going to get more and more cryptic... here's a clock:

@payb.tc - At this point your site & rates look fine, however I've not seen any information about you, nor does the site lend itself to addressing the issue of trust development between itself & valued customers. No offense intended, but do you have any web of trust data to backup your service? If you've any history that you care to share with us, please do so. Thanks much.
hi groundrod, i never got into the bitcoin-otc thing properly, so don't have a gpg identity there (that i can recall). my history is basically just via this forum and private interactions stemming from people i've met on here.

can anyone find a non-fucked version of this interview? maybe it's just my dead slow i7 2600k (sarcasm) but the lack of sync on this copy makes it unwatchable.

I think bitchange is fairest.

The problem is trust, bitcoin is 0-trust.
I rate blockexplorer like a US Treasury Bond. how insulting

I'm not going to start rattling off some random textual harassment, so I'll just say I'm holding...a very long...ehem! postion. i guess this means you got rid of your shorts.

I dunno, I figured all the shouting and hand waving from defrauded users that want to chase Andre with pitchforks was enough. yeah i figured that might be enough for some people, but i was talking about actual proof.
