141  Other / Meta / Re: Quoting from locked threads (SMF patch) on: June 10, 2024, 06:18:42 PM
You have my support for this SMAF patch PowerGlove.
BPIP extension is great but it's harder to use it with mobile devices and you don't want to install extensions on Tor browser for desktop.
My only question is what will happen with people who are still using BPIP extension after this patch gets adopted by theymos?
I hope this patch won't break functionality of BPIP extension.
142  Other / Meta / Re: [✅]What is the different between the Archived user and the Banned ? on: June 10, 2024, 06:02:04 PM
I want to also know about the 'ban evasion' and how people do it and how we can catch them.
I am not going to teach anyone how to perform ban evasion, but they simply create or buy different account and continue with the same activity they did with previously banned account.
Usually this members make mistakes with using same or connected addresses, same social media accounts, they post same links, and they use similar writing styles like on their banned accounts.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 500sat/vb for a transaction? Has the world gone mad? on: June 08, 2024, 06:57:41 PM
This time it was OKX exchange that created high fees, but there will always be more events to make mempool stuck, unless developers make some changes in bitcoin protocol.
I would recommend to have smaller amount of coins in second layers when mainchain fees are high, maybe Lightning or Liquid Network that has L-BTC would be a good idea.
144  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: My BtC was stolen on Blockchain.com on: June 08, 2024, 06:52:13 PM
I had activated Email and SMS as the authentication, it was still stoled, don't know how the hacker get my sms code.
There is a chance your seed words got  exposed on your end, maybe hacker hacked your computer if you kept them in digital form, or you were a victim of phishing attack.
I also don't recommend anyone to use web wallets like Blockchain.com or anything similar, especially not for storing large amount of coins.
If you want better security you should use cold wallets, but seed words should always be kept offline on paper/metal.

Majmunska posla se nastavljaju, gledao sam novi film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, još jedan u nizu nothinburger gluposti koja traje preko dva sata.

I jedan novi Francuski Jaws style film Under Paris ili Sous la Seine:

147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MemoryDealers aka Roger Ver Arrested! on: June 07, 2024, 05:41:36 PM
Roger Ver was released on bail from Spanish prison and he had to pay $163,000 for this.
He won't be able to leave the Spain because he handed over his passport, and he agreed to confirm his presence to court all the time.
His lawyers confirmed that Roger is not going to become a fugitive and run away, and it's going to be interesting to follow this case in fiture.

148  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coingecko suffer data breach on: June 07, 2024, 05:19:27 PM
They used third party GetResponse that was responsible for this, but it's important that account remains secure because no passwords were compromised during this attack on Goingecko.

I would suggest everyone to watch out and be careful with all email they receive in future on email address they used for Coingecko registration.
It's not a bad idea to use temp and unique alias emails for registration on services like this.
149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Closed] ZeusMEX — instant cryptocurrency exchange. on: June 07, 2024, 05:06:39 PM
What a shitshow.  Roll Eyes
Maybe it's better that they closed this exchange so quickly before even starting properly.
I don't believe anything they said about alleged technical maintenance, last moment name change, and then about ''investor'' losing money and having  family circumstances.
How can anyone create any serious service if they didn't already receive money from investors or if they don't have starting capital of their own...
150  Economy / Exchanges / Re: fees are very high on: June 07, 2024, 05:00:59 PM
When you make a withdrawal through an exchange you don't need to worry about that, and usually wallets compute gas themselves in addition, anyway it could never reach $240. I use this blockchain to withdraw USDT from exchanges and casinos usually (when Polygon is not available) and fees have always been lower than Ethereum blockchain for me. Here he wouldn't even need to use a wallet since he can make his withdrawal directly to his Huobi deposit address if he wants.
Read correctly what I wrote please.
I said that you will have to think about moving those tokens later, so if you don't  have tron, ethereum and similar shitcoins, you are stuck with all stable tokens in non-custodial wallet.
In case with tron blockchain you can even be stuck with usdt even if you have tron, but you don't have energy bandwidth and crap like that.
151  Other / Meta / Re: Brand new / Newbie accounts shouldn't be allowed to post links early on on: June 07, 2024, 04:27:57 PM
I am against this and I think this rule change could hurt genuine users who just registered in forum and wanted to post link for their project or service.
Sure it could prevent few spammers temporary but this won't stop them to post that same link tomorrow, and genuine user won't bother with that.
It's more than enough restrictions for newbies with evil fees and no images.
152  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: June 07, 2024, 12:41:12 PM

153  Other / Meta / Re: Has theymos ever banned any signature campaign due to spam? on: June 06, 2024, 03:53:18 PM
You need to sleep or something, your goal shouldn't be to spin up drama.
Maybe you need sleep more than me.
I didn't hire spammers for anything, and I don't try to spin up anything.
It seems to me that you are trying to put things under the carpet because you are a part of the same campaign as QueenVera was, but I could be wrong.
Best of luck.
154  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Speculation: New Trezor Product Coming on 14 June on: June 06, 2024, 09:18:55 AM
Finally managed to find something on their GitHub repository and it appears that they're going to skip number Four and go straight to number Five: Trezor Safe 5 [archived]
Nice one, I think you just ruined the mysterious secret surprise for Trezor Wink
I don't think are going to skip Safe 4, but they will probably release it later, unless for some weird reason they are only releasing devices with odd numbers - Trezor One, Trezor Safe 3, Trezor Safe 5, than 7,9,11 etc.

PS
This probably means most advanced price is coming soon also, that is more than $179 USD Tongue
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [May 2024] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs on: June 06, 2024, 08:42:22 AM
I'd prefer cash for privacy, or anything else that doesn't create eternal records of who-pays-what in several databases.
Same here.
I don't trust banks and they can always turn off payment cards and say that system is not working, that is already happening in some countries.
By using cards and phones for payments all the time people are just supporting introduction of CBDC crap and cash ban.
156  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 🟧⚡❤️ Redivivus - A social network powered by bitcoin. 🌎 [PRE-ALPHA] on: June 06, 2024, 08:31:54 AM
One of my goals as a Redivivus contributor is to prevent this thread from derailing into conversation about Fil's dumb action.  I really want to engage and promote conversation about the concepts and features brought up in the OP.  Thank you.   Smiley
He can always ask for a second chance and ask moderators to remove ban from his account.
I wouldn't recommend creating new account that acts like a ''friend'' because ban evasion is not allowed by forum rules.

Here is second chances topic:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5477510.0

I also suggest reading forum rules to avoid another ban:

157  Economy / Exchanges / Re: JokerChange - Quickly and easily exchange your cryptocurrencies on: June 06, 2024, 08:25:50 AM
You should actually update your service description and ToS to mention the fact you don't represent your own liquidity and instead resell a third-party exchange Gate.io and rely on their AML/KYC policies to avoid misleading people.
Maybe they are using other centralized exchanges, not just Gate.io, but they should clearly write that information in their ToS.
There is nothing wrong in offering such services and charge fees for that, if people are willing to take the risk of being asked for kyc verification from those exchanges.
I think that most quick swap exchanges are operating in similar way, with few exceptions.
158  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fulfilling signature campaign post quota by recycling own posts on: June 06, 2024, 07:33:31 AM
It's funny, they've made four new posts since this topic was created, i shit you not all four are reposts. I'm starting to think this account is 100% botted.  Cheesy
It's not impossible that farmed accounts are using some scripts and semi-automatic bot replies.

It might not work out as I visualize in my head but I don't use AI for posting or plagiarised. I'm sorry as it was never an intended offense and don't mind getting punished for it but please know that i never intended it to cause a mess in the forum and I'll be better please.
There was a clear intention with all your actions, but I am sure you will move on business as usual with your other alt accounts, forget about this one for any future campaigns.
I hope you learned your lesson.

How can one of them didn't notice if QueenVera recycled own posts when they're reviewing his post every week, it's surprising morvillz7z who're not the reviewer can notice this lol.
I think problem is much bigger than just one member spamming and recycling his posts, and I wouldn't be surprised if others are doing something similar.
Gambling board needs cleaning.
159  Other / Meta / Re: Has theymos ever banned any signature campaign due to spam? on: June 06, 2024, 07:06:03 AM
There was a chaos in yobit.net signature campaign as far as I can remember but were they banned here? I can't remember.
Has it ever happened that due to spamming, theymos banned any signature?
Good question.
It is not always company advertising some service that should be blamed for spamming in forum, in some cases campaign managers should be temp-banned for accepting and keeping spammers in their campaigns.
They are not only hurting service they are working with them but they are making all other bitcointalk forum members look bad.

I've hired spammers, everyone has had a few.
So you are admitting of hiring spammers in campaigns and you think this is ok  Roll Eyes
160  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: RingWallet - Wearable Hardware Wallet on: June 05, 2024, 05:24:50 PM
i'm looking for a hardware wallet in the $9.99 price range.
Good luck finding anything to buy for $9.99, I think you are going to need time travel machine for that  Roll Eyes
Meanwhile all you can buy is cheap Chinese watches on Aliexpress for that price, or maybe bunch of bananas , bread, paper and a pencil.
It's 2024.
