I've never been a fan of faucets personally. Just a bunch of ads. You should join a sig campaign if you're looking for a small amount of easy bitcoin income.

Regularly maintained list of sign campaigns.

Do you have bitcoin core bitcoinqt?

You can create multisigs yourself in the console.

I just use the default. I did one transaction on here and it went smoothly.
1404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8,400 bitcoin on: April 10, 2015, 05:34:10 PM
Pretty cool site. I just zoned out listening to the transactions for a few minutes. Very peaceful  Smiley

Was 230 the bottom, or is this a bull tarp?
1406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Double digits in 2015? on: April 10, 2015, 04:22:56 PM
Anythign is possible with bitcoin. If we see double digits, I'm buying a fistful of coins.

1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jake from Gawminers good news josh graza has lost ownership of paycoin. on: April 09, 2015, 11:12:55 PM
Shitcoin posts should be in the altcoin section.
Garza or no Garza, paycoin will not get a single one of my satoshis.
1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal for somebody in the US to create and host a bitcoin poker site? on: April 09, 2015, 11:10:41 PM
I'm going to say no, unless you are in vegas and all your visitors are in vegas.
The big bitcoin gambling sites out there, I assume, are not hosted in the US. If not they are asking for trouble.

I've tried the ignore feature a few times, but I always end up clicking "show this post" to see what they wrote.
So I don't have anyone on my ignore list anymore. Except for Walsorj since all he ever does is post about ripple shitcoins.
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have USD 2000 to invest. Should I buy Bitcoins or gold? on: April 09, 2015, 11:00:48 PM
They are both good investments in my opinion. It's always a good idea to diversify, you should buy an ounce of gold, or a gold ETF and then buy some bitcoin.
1414  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: April 09, 2015, 09:35:13 PM
Only 7 months to go until $500K coins!!
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We just hit a new record of average monthly transactions per day on: April 09, 2015, 09:10:59 PM
The main reason of bitcoin Tx volume increase is not more bitcoin usage. The main reason is more & more apps are implementing the 1 address per Tx policy and as it employs forwarding of the balance to the main address, the overall Tx volume is increasing. Moreover, some online wallets are spreading cold wallet balance on multiple addresses. That is another reason of Tx volume increase.

Unless these wallet providers are spreading their cold storage around every day it wouldn't have an effect on the daily tx volume.

That is only the second part of my statement. First part do give rise to daily volume.

Agreed, I can see how the one address per tx and then forwarding that input to a main address will turn one transaction into two transactions. This option has been used for a while, so I wouldn't be surprised if actual usage is increasing as well.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if YOU could put 1 feature, change, whatever, into the Bitcoin protocol? on: April 09, 2015, 09:08:17 PM
An incentive for full nodes, perhaps.

Yea sadly I only run my bitcoin core when I need to, I can't do the 24 hours always on thing. Those that do should get a reward or have an incentive like no transaction fees or something.

Didn't someone said Q1 2015?
Last interview they said Q1 indeed

Q1 is already gone.

The Winklevoss twins are getting into acting. They are playing themselves on the upcoming season of Silicon Valley:
http://www.people.com/article/winklevoss-twins-silicon-valley-hbo-season-2-cameo-tyler-winklevoss-cameron-winklevoss
That is premiering on April 12, so they have presumably been busy with that.

A scan of recent news also shows that Cameron is spending some time courting a very attractive Brazilian model:
http://pagesix.com/2015/03/23/cameron-winklevoss-shows-off-his-brazilian-model-girlfriend/

So it seems they are quite busy. I would imagine they'll start focusing on Gemini and COIN when:

a) the NYDFS finalizes the Bitlicense
b) the SEC  blows some dust off the ETF application

They have no control over either.

Agreed that they are just waiting on regulators and law makers.
Also, don't give her your privatekeys Cameron!! She'll only wants you for your bitcoins! :p
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We just hit a new record of average monthly transactions per day on: April 09, 2015, 08:57:28 PM
This post has led to some fun numbers to play with.
So for the first time on a 30 day period we crossed the 100,000 transactions per day on average.
That's a little over 4,000 transactions per hour.
69 transactions per minute.
1.15 transactions per second.

The limitation is around 7 transactions per second for bitcoin so we still have a ways until we reach this limit.
It took bitcoin 6 years to reach 100,000 transactions per day, how long until we reach 700,000 transactions per day?

How about a GUI for multisigs in the core wallet?
Right now you have to create them in the console and spend via rawtransactions, unless you want to use some 3rd party.
