1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: January 20, 2018, 11:34:38 AM
I have tried to think what goes through my mind when ever I am trying to place a bet. I think something strange do happen to me and that is I always have this thinking that what if I lose, how am I going to feel! I have never want to lose in my mind I want to win always but I think this is impossible. Gamblers here did you always want to win all your bet? If you win all how will the gambling company makes profits?
If you are thinking too much about wining or losing a bet, than don't do it, gambling 101 never gamble what you can't afford to lose, if your mindset is allways focused toward moeny than don't do it, gambling should never be a way that you relay on to make money otherwise your life will be rewined, tying your faith of wether your are going to be able to pay the bills to the luck of a dice or a poker round or any bet is not the way you want to live, you should never feel like you have to win or you need to win, gambling should always be for fun otherwise it will turn into addiction and that will cause a lot of probelms in your life.
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: January 19, 2018, 03:02:40 PM
Hi,

there are so many cryptos and I find it hard to identify the ones where I should have a closer look.
Obviously one can find cryptos e.g. by listening to shilling on Reddit. But I'm looking for more professional sources like YouTube channels, free/ paid Telegram/Discord groups and so on. What do you use?
It is just easier if you do it yourself to be honost, i personaly look at the market charts  and look for coins that have potential to rise that are witnessing some growth in the past few days i reaserch them on google see if they have a good concept if people will actually invest in it, and if i like it i invest some moeny to it, and if i get some profit it invest more, and hence and repeat till you find yourself with a good amount of coins that are providing you with good profit.
1443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you all in when trading? on: January 19, 2018, 11:32:03 AM
This would produce the most gains , but if you predict wrong you could be stuck waiting for the price to either come back up or down to get back in. I did this the other day. I sold and bought back in at what I had predicted was going to be the next upswing. However some last second sellers swooped in and dropped the price below my limit. Then it just continued to fall from there. Now I sit and wait for the price to come back up to my purchase price so I can get back at it. I hate waiting. I get antsy. I should have left some money in reserve so I could have at least bought in at the bottom. I got greedy. Now I wait.  Sad
Trading with all you have got is always not a good idea, since we are in a market where the values are unstable and it is always hard to predict what is going to come next, so it is always wise to have a plan b, split your cap into tow halves one trade with and the other keep it safe in case you mess somthing up so you will be able to get back on your feet, on the bright side of things trading bitcoin is forgiving that means if you mess up and buy at a point where the price goes down you still would get profit, it is just going to take you a bit longer.
1444  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Price of transaction on: January 18, 2018, 12:34:41 PM
Is it possible to low the fee of transaction of btc?
Is there a best time to do the transaction to have a lower fee?
What drives to the price of fee to increase?
I would love to hear, thanks!
It is possible to lower the fees for your transaction but that is not good, because it could take daus weeks or even months and not get verified, i personally use online wallets for this resaon because the fees are prested so my transaction gets verified, as for the best time to send it i usally find that the fees start to go down over the weekend, but i saw some guy on reddit saying that the best time to send is when the block size is lower than 1Mb. and you can monitor it on tradeblocks.
1445  Economy / Economics / Re: France declares war on the cryptocurrencies on: January 17, 2018, 02:50:08 PM
I read on news that

"The French finance minister has called for tough new regulations on cryptocurrencies to stop them being used to dodge tax or finance terrorism and other crimes"
Source ( http://metro.co.uk/2018/01/15/france-declares-war-cryptocurrencies-bitcoin-ethereum-litecoin-ripple-tough-new-stance-lead-ban-7231339/?ito=cbshare)

Is this having any impact on the downtrend nature of the whole Crypto Currency market today?
Are some investors having second thought about crypto and selling them?

Would like to get some idea about this.

It says regulation ot actually banning it, a lot of goverments have woken up and relized the fact that there are a lot of people who are involved in the cryptocurrency industry that are earning millions of dollars without paying taxes, honostly i am suprised that they didn't do this a long time ago when the cryptocurrency was just used by a few people, i think this was the strategy all along for goverments to let the crypto industry to evolve and grow and let the prices go up so that people  think that they can get rich from it and than drop the bompb by regulating it and making them pay taxes for it, and we can see that not only the french govermment has came to the decesion of regulating it, many govements have taken severe decisons conserning it, and we can see that that affected the prices real hard.
1446  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: January 17, 2018, 11:24:02 AM
Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?
Last year bitcoin's rise has made a huge impact on the cryptocurrency market, it became so popular and has caught the attention of a lot of investors and the fact that many people were able to make millions of dollars from this industry has put govermments in a bad situation because when they were just a mere currency used by a small percenteage of people has turned to a billion dollar industry, and because they have no control over it and are unable to track down transaction( who is it coming from and what purpouse the moeny is goping to be used for) they have started taking some serious action that are hitting the cryptocurrency community real hard.
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead coin back to life? on: January 17, 2018, 09:51:42 AM
Hey,

So I recently made a big loss by going into a pump and dump. Went from 0.24BTC to 0.045 BTC. Really depressed right now. But anyway. I found this coin called Veros. This coin
has been called a scam and it has been dead for a few months. Recently it has started to pick up volume. I thought it was a pump and dump but the volume has been to consistant for that. So I tried finding
information about why this price peak happend. Apparantly the developers are re-developing the coin. I've also seen that it will be getting added to Binance and Bittrex on the 24th of January. No one has confirmed this information. But it has been rumoured. What do you guys think about this coin? And is this my lottery ticket to make back my loss? I'm currently all in on Veros.

DOGE: DKcynMrdakPqpnr3YURBX1xQD3CZonv9DU

Source: https://twitter.com/VerosCoin

There are a lot of coins out there that have never been heard of so they sit at the bottom of the chart and no one pays attention to them, i don't know or have any idea about wether this coin is going to go up or not, but why take the risk, i mean why try to invest money into a dead coin while you can invest in some known coins which have a good poetential to rise, however it has a very low price so investing in it a bit like 10$ and seeing wether it will go up or not is wiser than dumpinjg all you have on it.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: January 16, 2018, 07:04:27 PM
Although this might be impossible but the cryptocurrency world has taught me that anything is possible, althought the price right now is dropping really fast and i say it might go below 10k but i am confidant that it will go up again, and when it is going to go up its going to skyrocket and the price will explode, last year aproximatly at the same time bitcoin went down from 1100$ to 700$ and people were terrified and thought that it was the end, but the wise thing to do is to take this oppurtounity and buy more to get more profit when it goes up again.

1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low Hyped Coins on: January 12, 2018, 09:26:03 PM
Hey,

I just joined this forum after some time I was just reading. I'm searching for a coin to invest in that is not already super hyped but still looks promising. any ideas?
Well apart from Xrp which is still not that expensive compared to other coins but has too many people already investing in it so the price is going to go up real soon, there is also torn which is starting to make its way to the top as well, i don't know your goal behiend trying to find coins that are not popular, if they are not going to give you any profit real soon why invest in them, j,ust put money in XRP or Torn and you will get profit real soon, they are not that expensive to begin with.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP or XLM on: January 12, 2018, 08:34:38 PM
Hi All,

I have my last bit of money and I am not sure if I should go for XLM or XRP or just place it in the good old BTC wallet.

Thanks!
It really depands on how much you are palning to hold and how much you have, if you have like 100$ or more and you want to get fast profit, put it on XRP since it is starting to become more and more popular and has a decent price for a new coin so it defently has potential to rise quickly, if you have a lower than 100$ than just keep it in btc it is not going to get you much if you are looking for fast profit, both bitcoin and XRP are going to rise but they both have diifrenet price range, one is 13k and the other is 2$, so you need to buy a lot of XRP to be able to benefit from it right now.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum or ripple on: January 12, 2018, 07:28:47 PM
I want to buy some coins. Which is the better to buy now ethereum or ripple?
Why not both ?, a better way to unsure that you get profit is by diversifying your coins, if you just invest in one coin if it goes down you lose and you get nothing, but if you invest in tow or three coins you can enhance your chances of getting profit, and i can see no better coins to invest in at the moment other than ripple and ethereum, one is already making its way to the top with high value and the othe has the best start for a coin that teh cryptocurrency have seen, and there is a lot of hype behiend it and a lot of poeple have already invested in it, so it wull surely go up in the future, get both coins hold them for a while and it will save the trouble of thinking in which one to invest in because they are both good.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: January 12, 2018, 06:32:20 PM
Hi guys,

I was trying to invest around 5K in Etherium. The price at the moment is around 1.2K and as it looks it is still growing. You think is it a good time to invest ?
Ethereum ahs been having a good amount of attention in the past few months and that is due to the fact that the cryptocurrency market is taking over and ethereum is at a pretty good spot not only because it is a the second most traded altcoin, but also etherum lets people create tokens and sell them to help them het kickstarters on thier project which is a great concept that has seen a massive succes through ICOs which are becoming more and more popular these days, so you defently should invest in ethereum because its price is always going to go up, it may not go up as fast as bitcoin, but investing 5k into it is enough to get you some good profit.
1454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: January 12, 2018, 05:19:20 PM

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this

Probably the bigest and the most obvious reson why bitcoin is dropping is transactions, bitcoin transactions have became really slow, since the massive jump of price of bitcoin it became so popular that the network can't handale to verify transactions that fast, and this has lead also to the miners fees increasing so you need to pay more or your transaction get stucked at first people thought that it is a temporary thing and it will get solved but after many attempts of forks and waiting for things to get better people starterd looking for alternative ways to send thier transactions, so they started using altcoins, and that is hwy bitcoin is starting to fall behiend.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC to accept Bitcoin! on: January 12, 2018, 03:45:55 PM
I don't understand the point of all thses companies that try to force bitcoin as a payment, i would understand if apple or microsoft or sony or large companies that sell large products to start accepting bitcoin, but all these ones that just use micro transactions of a 10 dollars or less are just a way to say that the owners want to get bitcoin with any mean, you will be paying more mining fees than the KFC bucket that you will be buying, and lets be honost none that has bitcoin is actually going to buy food with it, paying 10$ in btc now could become 1000$ after a month.
1456  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed transactions on: January 12, 2018, 10:02:50 AM
I'm far from a math or Bitcoin guru, but I have a quick question. At 185,000 unconfirmed transactions and 100 transactions a second, if we all took a chill pill for 30 minutes, wouldn't the BlockChain be clear? Thanks in advance!
I don't think that taking a break or stoping trnasactions for 30 minuutes will solve the problem, in fact it might make things even worse, according to your caculation 100 per second, if we stop them for 30 min, that is 180000 transaction waiting to be released after those 30 min ends, stoping the network is really not the solution, the network should be developed so that transactions could be confirmed much faster.
1457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to Buy bitcoin? on: January 12, 2018, 08:27:22 AM
Hi! ☺️ I just want to ask when to buy or sell bitcoin? I don't want to lose money.. I mean we can't avoid to lose if we're just beginner but atleast we can find ways to prevent it right?
First bitcoin trading right now is in a oretty bad spot, where the prices are starting to flacuate and that could lead to great lose especilay with the transactions taking so long to get confirmed making echanges really difficult where every second loses us and makes us moeny, so right now the price is about 13k and people asy that it is going to go down, so the best option right now is to wait a few days to see if it goes down, if not than you should buy than, and jsut hold.
1458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ATM card for withdraw BTC/ other crypto on: January 12, 2018, 07:51:41 AM
I want to know, is there any ATM card service or other service that allows BTC/ETH as deposit option ? BTC is not supported in my country. I need a ATM service that allows Crypto coins as money deposit option and that money can be withdrawn in USD, GBP or other fiat directly ?
There are palenty of bitcoin debit cardfs in the market righht now, and they are fiarly cheap, but the problem with withrawing from them through ATMs, is they take a ton of fees for it, since they need to exchange bitcoin to your local currency, as for ethereum you can exchange it to bitcoin then withdraw or deposit them to the cards that i mentioned, personally i would not use debit cards to get my bitcoin in fiat, instead what i would recommend is that you go on localbitcoin and find someone in your country that is offering to buy bitcoin and pays cahs, that way you won't lose any fees and you will be avoiding any complications since bitcoin is not yet leagalized in your country.
1459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or not? on: January 12, 2018, 07:16:05 AM
If I lost most of my capital in one coin, I will hold the first to coin it up again, whether it can be called trading or not?
Give your opinion Smiley
Putting all of your cap on one coin is a typical mistake, the preoblem with cryptocurrency trading is that the prices are unstable and hard to predecit wether thye will; go up or down, and having one coins make the chances of profiting and losing a fifty fifty chance,  the wise thing to do is to split all of your cap into different coins that way you enhance your chances of profiting, i am not usre if i understand what you are pointing at as 'holding first to coin it up', but i think if you are asking about wethere you should hold for a long time to get more profit than yes, but don't get greedy because as isaid the prices are unstable and could go down at any time.
1460  Economy / Economics / Re: question on long term prices on: January 11, 2018, 10:32:19 PM
Hi, I am new to all this, but help me understand this. If there is a crypto coin that is very useful and has functional value, not just speculative, say it becomes very expensive. What is to stop someone from just creating their own coin that is the almost identical to it, and using it instead, so high prices are not paid for the other coin? How can all these coins maintain high values, when people can just create as many new coins as they want?
People can easily create new coins and they do none is stoping them from doing so, but the thing is is how to make it popular so its price goes up, take bitcoin for exemple when it first came out it was a new idea that is why it started becoming more and more popualr and so its price got higher, and all the other coins that came after bitcoin didn't have the same success why, because they don't bring anything new, but right now with the trnasaction time and the miner fees for bitcoin going high, new coins are coming up and saying we can do what bitcoin can't and that is providing a fast transaction time wih less fees and those coins are starting to get the attention of many users and investors.
