New options (e.g. 1850 instead of 6) are already showing up but do not work so far  Wink

Yep, i changed layout but i didnt release update.
There is a little issue and i need to fix it first.
All things works as previous, you can set dpm lecel an % OC in memory.
I will release this update tomorrow.

I reverted visual changes no to confuse you guys.
I need to do little more tests.

hi tytanick

i am trying to mine komodo in supernova pool but with no results.
i suppose komodo (or any other not so "famous" algo) is not supported correct?

thanks

It is supported, its normal equalihash algho (this from zcash)
use claymore-zec miner or optiminer Smiley

I have nearly completed RX OS Overclocking to specific MHZ core and memory.
Also there will be very dummy undervolting (i came up with this idea and its accually working Tongue)

Hi T,

What is the definition/status information of the following in smOS?

1. "SEE CONSOLE..."

2. "NO SCREEN SESSION FOUND..."

Thanks

1. This status is show when you are not using claymore. only claymore had API with mining speeds so its easy to sho it directly on panel.
Other miners dont have any api so only way to look is by looking into console of this miner..

2. This is always at the beginning, if this presists more than 2 minutes then something is wrong,
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [SHOP] SimpleRigResetter - Auto resets HANGED rigs - available now !!! on: March 11, 2017, 09:09:17 AM
I have tried all the combinations for the W and Y, still the same = working but LED dont change status.

I will try to do a few more test, including changing SRR units just in case - will revert later.

Ok let me know. Try changing
- motherboard
- cable
- SRR
And you will tell me which one will if failing
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [SHOP] SimpleRigResetter - Auto resets HANGED rigs - available now !!! on: March 10, 2017, 08:06:41 PM
It appears to be working (ie. manual power off, reset etc) but the colors don't change and stay in GREEN (ie. it should change from GREEN to RED during reset or power off). However, I can confirm that manual reset/power off/on does work, because the miner seen at the dashboard does reset and reboot.
Then try connecting those LED cabled differently, it must work becasue it is a ISO standard of all motherboards Smiley
White and Yellow cables are for LTD status, try connecting them in other configurations near this position. Those leds only READ voltage from pins so you wont damage anything.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing a SimpleRigResetter, I see on the site shop there are optional power supplies for EU.. I am in US so what do I need?

Also I see there are optional rig cables.. what are these for? Do I need one for each rig? (I'll have 5 rigs for now but may get more in the future)

Will appreciate help, thanks
Here is all described (go little lower on this page)
https://shop.simplemining.net/simplerigresetter.html?___SID=U
You need 8 cables to One SRR. Those cables you will connect to each rig, you can choose lenght.
You will be connecting them to Power LED and Power Button of the rig motherboard.
If you have 5 rigs and in future more, buy 8 cables, its not big expense and you will have for future.
If you will even more rigs there will be Extension Board which can be connected to SRR.
The Extension Board will give you even +24 Rigs but it will be more expensive than Base SRR.

Power Supply, you can select EU power supply + USA Adapter - its no 2 on list.
Also you can not buy this powersupply and instead you can go to your local store and buy there becasue its easy to find.
Specifications of this Power Supply you have also on this site.

1. I know about it and i will do something about it, already doing accually.

2. But its just Claymore custom so i wont do another tab for that Smiley
What i can do is write some examples and i have this in todo list when i will be reorganizing this miner selection section.

I LOVE GETTING MENTIONED EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE!!!
Yep, its you.
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 10, 2017, 09:42:04 AM
Having an issue with one of my other rigs.  When I boot into smOS I get alot of certificate errors.  and it cannot seem to connect to simplemining.net.  When i cancel out of the script and do ifconfig I have an ip and I can ping google.com.  I have tried different USB drives, same issue.  I have nother rig that is exact and it worked fine when i copied smOS to that drive, updated fine.
Please write to admin@simplemining.net
Copy your problem and i would need either forwarded port 22 to this rig to check it.
Or team veiwer to any windows that is in the same network as this rig + ip of this rig. I can check it and debug it.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 09, 2017, 07:36:56 PM
is there a guide how to undervolt GPU's?
i replaced straps with polaris bios editor but i don't know how to undervolt them.

I dont think so, you can search on overclock.net
Anyway try using also those bioses

1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 09, 2017, 04:12:21 PM
When you go into your simplemining control panel you select claymore. Then underneath is a section that shows you the command line for Claymore. You can add -cvddc and -mcddc there.

i've tried it. for example -cvddc 1010 -mcddc 1010 but it didn't worked. same wattage (1220-1230 watts)
that config should reduce the power to 900-950 watts  Sad
[/quote]
Accually no, undervolting in claymore command line doesnt work in linux.

The only way is to lower dpm level in CORE , try with 3,4,5 dpm and see what speed you have.
And about undervolting the only way is to use custom bios with undervolting offset.
This works.
I have 770 watts from wall with 6xRX470 Gigaytes G1 and 160 MH/s (i go for low power)
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SimpleMining.net Easy OS RX 4xx or R9 3xx/2xx - RELEASED on: March 09, 2017, 03:40:33 PM
Hello, I really liked the assembly, I'm interested will he support vachdogs - https://open-dev.ru/watchdog
I dont think so, i have my own watchdogs with more powerfull functions and i am focusing on it https://simplemining.net/page/simpleRigResetter

Hi and congrats for your tool Grin

What about stak-amd?
Are u going to add it?
Can you compare results and tell me if its faster than sgminer-gm-5.5.5 ?
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 09, 2017, 03:14:24 PM

Thx,
I will have soon tool for setting specific memory and core in MHz but still negotiating this with one guy.
Also those tools you showed are for windows and this is Linux so it wont work.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 09, 2017, 08:07:09 AM
Thank you.  These are rigs I have hosted at Oregon Mines.  The issues ranged from not recognizing 7 cards, to constant reboots, to reduced hashing speeds.  I've since had those 3 on EthOS as a test, but I really don't care for that OS and much rather have them back on SMos.  I will have the team at OM switch them back over with the updated download that Ty just recently posted.

IMHO.... smOS is "a few light years" ahead of ethOS.

I spent a month using ethOS and smOS side by side with my Windows rigs in Dec last.

By Jan this year, all but 1 dev rig (Windows) is on smOS in the 33-rig farm.

The best thing and main differentiator about smOS, IMHO, is that Tytanick listens & interact to his users and implement what users need.

Thx Smiley
Accually i didnt listen at the beginning and i wanted to force idea when I AM IN CONTROLL of all rigs and i am pointing them to preselected my me pools.
But after few fight with users (accually thx to them) i changed my concept and gived all settings to users Smiley
Yep, i am listening and implementing what i can.

Thanks tytanik, I already did that.  What I am using is -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -epsw x -esm 0 -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal bughatti.rx480old -dpsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333

and it works fine on all other pools, only on ethermine do I get rejected shares immediately.  I even tried with -ethi 6 and 4 thinking my OC was to much.

Accually i will hide those fields in some time and the only field that will be active will be Bitcoin - and it will be just in case if i had to send someone some cash.

1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [SHOP] SimpleRigResetter - Auto resets HANGED rigs - available now !!! on: March 09, 2017, 07:48:39 AM
The rig is up and connected to SRR (status is green circle).

So I left it alone - since it green and online, and already assigned slot # and rig number at smOS SRR menu.

It should be sending I am alive pings so green circle prooves that.

Citronick so is everythin all right and working with This other motherboard ?
Can you make manual reset from SRR Tool and circle turns red and then green and it accually reboots ?
If yes, please confirm it once again and also can you make photo how you connected it to see what was wrong ?
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [SHOP] SimpleRigResetter - Auto resets HANGED rigs - available now !!! on: March 08, 2017, 03:53:48 PM
OK so now, touch only Green and Brown in different configurations and see in which it can shut down your rig.
Then tell us which cobination it was Smiley
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [SHOP] SimpleRigResetter - Auto resets HANGED rigs - available now !!! on: March 08, 2017, 03:44:10 PM
This is more important than image:

So acording to this 15 and 16 is power on/off
So you have two options:
Brown = pin 15
Green = pin 16
Or'
Brown = pin 16
Green = pin 15

I will work only one way Smiley

Then if LED is working on and showing right status, dont touch it, renember it and leave it Smiley

It MUST work, its a ISO standard that all motherboards have Smiley
Its like plugging Computer Case and plugging in Simple Button that makes shortage on two pins Smiley

Update v1076:
- updated claymore-zec-v12.3 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1670733.0 )
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [SHOP] SimpleRigResetter - Auto resets HANGED rigs - available now !!! on: March 08, 2017, 11:01:13 AM
LED STATUS:
13 = Yellow
11 or 12 = White

Power ON/OFF (you need to chekc both becasue there is no description where is - and +)
14 = Brown
15 = Green
OR
14 = Green
15 = Brown
