1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 15, 2022, 11:45:22 AM
^^ We will find it out, I mean this division is also laded with a lot of talents so it will be hard for Lopez to dominate this 140 lbs. There is also Catterall who almost beat Josh Taylor in their first fight. And if I'm not mistaken will have a rematch.

So Lopez better be bringing his A-game against Campa so that he can gauge himself if he faces the top 1-5 in this division.

I agree with that, it's the first time Lopez to be in this heavier division, so let's see if he still has the power to beat the best fighters in this division. his last fight with Kambasos was very disappointing, he can't win but Haney just schooled Kambasos in a fight.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 14, 2022, 10:45:41 PM
NFT have gained huge attention during their hype and bull market but in this bearish time, it seems we seeing them down as the entire market has been down as well. And even from that, I'd never see these NFT projects would last for a long time - projects built in hypes couldn't make it, that is really impossible.

Thus, if you are investing them OP, you've to be prepared about losing your money then, or much better not to choose them.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 14, 2022, 11:49:38 AM
2 days more before we can see this much awaited fight and to see if Ryan Garcia has already escaped the issues in his life and that he is now back on track unlike his last fight against Tagoe where he himself admitted that his performance wasn't that impressive.

I'm looking forward that this kid, Garcia, can man up his words as he's already calling for Tank Davis next despite having an upcoming fight against Fortuna.

Yeah, saw one of his interview and again, he wants a fight with Tank Davis after that. Might be bad though because it seems that he is overlooking Fortuna, maybe he is underestimating the guy and didn't respect him? We will see if Garcia will win, or it will back fire because he seems to can't get Davis on his mouth every time he has a chance to talk to the public about his match with Fortuna.

would be a blow if garcia will lose from fortuna. he should have waited what the results of his upcoming fight before he calls another boxer to fight with. anyway, that's his challenge couple of days and we will see what he's got. if he's calling Tank Davis, i guess, i will go for Davis here. but let's see...

Obviously, everything will be put on hold if Fortuna will beat Garcia in their fight. But will Ryan allow this one to happen to him or he is just super confident to win against Javier and he thinks that this is just a normal fight for him and his hands are going to be raised.

Fight is very closed though, this weekend already. But I will rather not to put a bet on this fight. Would be better if I would just watch it and maybe see if Ryan has gotten over his mental issues and then called out Davis again after he win.

That would not happen, they will not cherry picked a fighter that will only beat them. This is not a big fight for Ryan Garcia, it's just more like he is trying to prove to his promoter that he is ready for a big fight, and the only way is winning this fight in an impressive manner.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2022, 11:27:28 AM
^^ For sure, the commissioner is not going to be happy with that. Yes players have freedom, but in this case, and if I'm not mistaken, this is a super max contract being given to KD and then after a few years and he still has like 2 years in his contract, he suddenly request a trade? It is close to being disrespectful to Brooklyn, after emptying their pockets not just for him but for Irving as well, he will suddenly ditch the Nets because it's not going his way? Yeah, for sure new rules are going to be set in by the NBA to address this kind of scenario.

That's a pure disrespect, Durant already had a big salary and yet he still want to leave the team, there must be a problem within the organization, but I think it's not fair to request for a trade when the management has not met their expectation yet from Durant.
1565  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY ITS SO POSITIVE THIS BEARMARKET. on: July 13, 2022, 11:44:53 PM
Bearmarket is a good thing in my opinion, of course we can buy at a cheap price, from several bearmarkets that have happened I have bought more than 4 times when the bitcoin price was below $20k then about 3 to 5 days I held and profit was more than 12% , profit opportunities always occur if we invest in a bear market as is happening today.
Just think in the opposite way, 12% loss within the same set of days after buying means. We don't know how far the changes will happen. Amidst all this facts, people are positive on bitcoin for different reasons. Right now the traders find way to make good profit out of the fluctuation.
First of all people have started to explore and understand well about cryptocurrency market than going for an investment.

When a person understand the risks and invest, it is different from investing on someone's suggetion. Hoping for the better market believing in technology. These minds weren't there in the past, because of huge manipulation from the whales.
As people will understand the nature of the market will surely keep positive despite the dumps and losses they have experienced. Losing is not a new thing in crypto and that is why this place is only for the risk takers who are willing to lose their money and hold for a profit. Those who come late last year will think this is not a good investment but those who have been here for many years could understand that ups and downs are normal and adapting to the market under any condition is vital in order to survive.
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Luna Classic - Thoughts? on: July 13, 2022, 11:06:12 PM
Hi all,

I have invested £150 into Luna Classic since their crash which is a gamble I know but is a gamble I am happy taking.

Would be interesting to hear what everyone's thoughts are on this.

Do we think it is over or is there a possibility of recovery?

Some people are saying £1 is possible but I have 3 million so even reaching a penny would be great for me.
You are likely into gambling and your chance is very slim to win - you can never expect from them anymore. But if just a small amount for you, well, it doesn't matter.

The only problem now is that many people are still hopeful with this project knowing the fact that it is already been closing down. Luna has been almost out in the market and sooner or later it will finally dissolve because of the lack of market support.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 11:36:52 AM
Irving and Durant both are leaving the team surely as it seems. They have both wanted their trades as soon as possible. Actually Irving was closer to be traded but the team made a decision and decided to give priority to Durant's trade. I have heard that Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are the teams Durant want to go now.
Durant going to the Heat would give the Heat a big boost even if they will trade Butler for him.
IMO, I believe that Durant is more clutch and more team player than Butler, so I'm okay with that trade if that will happen.

As for Irving he has been likely to be traded with Westbrook. This deal would be great for Lakers but not much for Nets unfortunately.
We never know what would happen to the Nets, but Irving going to the Lakers, I'm optimistic that Lakers will reach the playoffs.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 13, 2022, 11:19:10 AM
It's business but lower teams are not pursuing having a good and competitive team because even if they do, they can't match SMC and MVPs offered contracts and players will choose to play for top teams instead as benefits are awesome.

Speaking of Ray Parks, who do you think is better, Ray Parks or Mikey Williams?

The past and the current, and TNT now has won a championship with Mikey Williams but never won with Ray Parks.
But for individual comparison, who do you think is better?
1569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gets more attention on: July 12, 2022, 10:37:15 PM
Bitcoin has always had the potential and it gains more attention as it was been influenced by social media, we can't simply ignore it perhaps, the growing adoption could tell that many people are willing to invest and even use it in their daily life. I know, some people are just quietly investing Bitcoin this time taking the opportunity of its current price. We can't deny the fact that Bitcoin is a great crypto asset and looking back on last year's performance will encourage people to invest.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to invest Dot for long term? What are your thoughts about Polkadot? on: July 12, 2022, 10:06:55 PM
So I have been reading about this Polkadot para chain for the last couple of days. I can see this Polkadot is massively grown parachain and there is much more to come. Sp Dot price now is at a good point. So I want to know whether it is good to invest or DCA Dot? Or do I need to just wait till the breakout shows in Dot?
Well, just to know that PolkaDot had existed for quite a long time and it did not belong to shitcoins, it has a market value and seems to have fortune. Adding this to your list is a good idea and likely a good investment as well. DCA is quite suitable when it comes to investing this time.

It can't be certain but as these experts say Dot will grow further in the future. Sounds like an encouraging note that investors must consider. However, we still put some limitations on knowing the risk in the market.

1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 12, 2022, 12:00:15 PM

I believe PPV sharing is probably the main reason why they haven't come up with a deal yet. Spence's previous PPV buys are a little better than Crawford's. Spence also has more belts to offer in the division but Crawford is the only ATG of the two.

There's no other reasons, Crawford here has to agree with a small share because Spence will not agree with a 50/50 share.
he has more belts and he has a better PPV record in the past compared to Crawford.

We get it, Crawford is also a champion but Spence have proven enough based on the numbers he have.
1572  Other / Off-topic / Re: Manny Paquiao vs Korean Youtuber on: July 12, 2022, 11:43:26 AM
Not big news but definitely news that would still excite those who are die-hard fans of Manny Pacquiao.

I'm pretty sure it's just about the money, it could be easy money for Manny, and now he is using his popularity to make easy money, hmm... though I don't like it but who can stop him, he is just smart enough to earn easily money.
1573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 11, 2022, 01:02:38 PM
It's something that some people did not understand.

When you are criticized for being a gambler because they think that you are just wasting money, then it's wrong.
We might lose money in gambling but if we are still getting the entertainment we are expecting, then it's not wasting money.

Going to the moviehouse paying money is a waste of time if you will not enjoy the movie, but if you will enjoy it, it's not.
Therefore gambling is not a waste of money for those who enjoyed it.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 11, 2022, 12:07:52 PM
And I will say that it was really boring, a snoozer fight and I'm right. When I check the score afterwards it is Vargas who won on the score card. So I guess Magsayo is just another hype fighter, just B level to me, in my opinion. Not in the same breathe as other Filipino greats like Manny and Nonito.

It has become boring because Vargas was just playing with the points, he made sure to use his advantage over Magsayo and he was really effective in doing that. He got a good coach as well, so I'm not surprised that he won the fight. Magsayo has the power but he lacks speed, he could not destroy the defense of a taller boxer, so I guess better luck next time if rematch is going to happen.

He's not a champion anyway, right? He knows how to use his advantages and from what I've seen, he really understands how Magsayo fight so he didn't give Magsayo a chance to penetrate; he keeps his distance and keeps throwing punches away to make sure that Magsayo won't be able to get a good look when trying to attack him.

I think Vargas was an x champion, so he knows the feeling of a champion and how to be a champion. The criticism on Magsayo is real, his last 2 fights was not so convincing and Rey Vargas here were very careful not getting him by a punch that would bring him down for a KO lose.

Quote
Yes, there's always another chance for Magsayo. He can call for a rematch and re-try to bring back his belt.
Only possible if the camp of Rey Vargas will agree.
1575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 08, 2022, 01:08:54 PM
but there are gamblers who are willing to deal with it especially those big time gamblers who use a huge amount of money and play heavy, they are more into accepting the terms and condition.

Since they are putting big money on that particular site, it means they trust the site. Therefore, undergoing KYC should not be a big problem for them as it's just easy to complete it. These big-time gamblers are not dumb to just trust a site with their money easily.

These big gamblers' research is beyond average compared to the majority and they are very strict at choosing a site.

KYC is not really a problem if there's a time that it will be a mandatory thing to do. We have no choice in the first place if it's become a necessary requirement. Just make sure to just comply with it on a trustworthy site and of course, not with the site that just comes out of nowhere and lacks reviews.

And because of these big-time gamblers, the trusted platforms that they are playing are also obliged to keep their system safe and updated so that the details of their clients won't leak if there are some threats that could put their license in the line and worse, these big-time gamblers will be forced to sue the casino and leave them with more problems.

Definitely, that would happen because it's a serious offense and a casino can be sued for that, however, if the information was leak unintentionally like their system is hacked, then we cannot go after them and we have to accept the fact that our information can be used to whatever purpose the hacker will use, that's the risk.
1576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "I'll wait for the dip!" - The Crypto Noob Cycle on: July 08, 2022, 10:29:25 AM
Well, I can't deny myself being like that OP during my newbie time in crypto, no experience, no-how about Bitcoin, I'd just floating in the air making a decision without any basis.

But, I was already learn something from my past and my losing experience. I could relate to some emotions and this newbie behavior, they'll need someone to educate them and change their mindset when it comes to investing crypto. And I hope they could find someone.
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 08, 2022, 06:34:22 AM
It makes no sense...
Why I should, in fact, the reason I come and invest crypto is to make money, not to lose it. If you are aware of their background OP, you can also tell yourself why?

Though Shiba Inu has in good business already but being known as a meme coin, that can be uncertain thinking for a long-term investment. That can't be considered as the potential coin as sooner or later, that can be like other meme coins IMO.
1578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: July 08, 2022, 05:52:49 AM
We need to understand that there are all kind of actors that want us to get rid of our coins, the media wants for us to lose money as this creates more juicy stories for them, the government wants the same because they want bitcoin to fail and by having people losing money they delay the adoption of bitcoin and even whales want us to sell our coins as this generates a cheaper price for them to buy all the bitcoin they want, and as you can see the only ones that lose by selling bitcoin are ourselves which is why we must not do it.
Well, it is understandable that media would want to do whatever they want to do because it would benefit them. You need to understand, media is the most powerful tool right now, it could be a "media" such as a tv channel famous in a nation which is a giant, but it could be a simple youtube channel discussion politics or economics or whatever, even gaming has that.

This is why I believe that if you own a media channel, you would get rich one way or another as long as you are viewed, even if you spew lies. Because, someone would fund you to spread those lies. In this case, bitcoin will die is a profitable thing to people who are shorting for example, simple as that.
That I believe they just want attention while telling lies - that was the story. Social media isn't healthy and helping anymore, many people become foolish and even greedy following them. I'd say that money can manipulate someone in a position and do things even though it was not true. I guess we have to educate ourselves and give space to these social media influencers just to come up with a better idea. And instead of listening to these platforms, we'd rather make our own diggings and decide what thing we do without the influence of others.
1579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom For Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2022, 11:17:40 PM
What is your chart telling you? everyone who buys now are doing it based on what their chart says or based on their research or maybe what the heard from a so called reliable source. But the truth remains anything about bitcoin price you hear are mere speculation. Kindly do your research if it tells you to buy now perfect but if your research suggest you wait a little more then do so. But ensure your chart is giving you the first hand signal before seeking for conformation else where
The chart is one tool used to analyze the market and in creating TA, however, given the extent of being volatile, that is still bound to be an unreliable conclusion as we can't predict the market right. The market of Bitcoin is moving like a roller coaster and we even don't know if we are reached already the bottom or not. Many speculations arise that we have been reached already and we are going to move high but I don't simply agree with these because as long we are in the bear season, anything like dump can be possible.
1580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 07, 2022, 11:35:58 AM
^^ Well Floyd has a obvious hidden agenda to tell us that there is negotiations, because he wanted Crawford to be his manager. And maybe if Bud Crawford will sign with him, then that is the time that this fight is going to be made, hehehe. But still the fight can still be made in October, we still have 3 months of it and many things can happen along the way to put this fight in schedule at least for this year.

We know Floyd, he knows how to hype and to make the attention focus on him, I believe that there's already a negotiation between him and Crawford and their team will negotiate with the team of Spence to make this big fight. The current status now maybe just a speculation, but there's really a possibiilty that this fight will be realized.
