1561  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 18, 2021, 11:38:05 PM
I thought they had already come up with an explanation?

Their "explanation" doesn't make any sense, and after I responded back to their latest "explanation" addressing all the points they made about their reasoning, they haven't replied back to me since after over a week.

Just read a few posts above to see my response to their explanation to see exactly what I mean.
Sadly it was written in their TOS that in case there is a wrong bet, they are able to cancel the bet but there is another, ethical side.

FortuneJack
Dear Fortunejack?? There was an accident on Black Friday, Amazon had some technical problems and it was like their customers get certain items in a very cheap price. Amazon was able to cancel their orders according to their own TOS but you know what they did? They got losses and still proceed the order. Hope you'll understand why that happened.

Hope, you understood the point and analyze that it's not good behaviour.

Edit:
Hhampuz
When did they cancel the bet? According to TOS, FJ is 100% correct but at the same time, the situation is a little bit hazy. When you bet, catch a good odd and then it's cancelled because of their technical issues, doesn't sound right but again for sure, it depends when they cancel the bet. If bet was made hours earlier before the match and if the bet was cancelled immediately, then yeah, seems there is nothing wrong with FJ but otherwise I wouldn't like that.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins are not actual fiat on: January 18, 2021, 10:28:53 PM
I hope it's not hard to understand that stablecoins are backed by USD, i.e. there is USD behind them and Stablecoins are just masks. Imagine USD on blockchain with name "Tether". If one does, another one dies too. Your speach looks like if my PC is turned on and electricity goes off, it should remain in turned on position while there is actually no supply. Same applies to stablecoins.

Btw I was really wondering about true stablecoin backed by USD where we would pick one "normal" and after that if USD rises or falls, stablecoin will fall/rise to balance the things and remain truly stable.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: January 18, 2021, 09:52:44 PM
If anyone is really paying money to "betting brokers", then all they want is cheap and easy money with little to no effort. You could pay money to those who provide detailed statistics about certain teams, their recent matches, historical moments between team A and B, how these two team compete, who wins when match is at home/away, etc. In this information, I think that it's quite logical and good to pay money, this information is very beneficial for the bettor. Otherwise, anyone offering such proposal is just a scammer or a young boy who recently won some bucks in tickets and now wants to make more money.
1564  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Got Hacked From My Wallet on: January 18, 2021, 09:15:18 PM
When did they change from .info to .com?  Now that you mentioned, I think when I registered the account, it was still .info, but now when I clicked the Support menu in the wallet app, it took me to .com.
Oh, blockchain.info redirects to blockchain.com since June 2018.

I suggest everyone to not use Blockchain's wallet, it's terrible. I created some wallet (account) on their website and on one account it happened like I was somehow unable to login. Password was correct, was receiving email and verifying it, everything was correct, even there was green message box on blockchain.info but somehow, login was still impossible. I couldn't login, guess it was a bug from their side or idk. Contacted their support multiple times, they are the worst, no attention. Glad my balance was zero on their website.

So, just don't use blockchain.com's wallet for long term or for storing your coins. Or then get a prescription for calm meds.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvest initial investment, or keep profits? on: January 18, 2021, 08:53:38 PM
For long term safe investment, probably you could choose Binance's 6% annual earn on flexible TUSD deposit, or directly gold, etc.

If you can really afford the long term investment in bitcoin, then this last one is better choice but remember, long term may be one, two, three or even four years. But as statistics and history shows us, bitcoin always proves that it's the best long term investment option. You have to be very patient, if you see that price went from 36K to 15K (for example), this is the case where your patience should shine. Imagine, even if you bought bitcoins back in 2017 in 20K USD, still you had a chance to do 100% profit (price was 40K recently).
1566  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: txfee.org neat bitcoin fees estimator and tx checker on: January 18, 2021, 08:11:54 PM
Seems the whole website is in JS...

How does it estimate the transaction confirmation time? I always use bitcoinfees.earn.com and I have never had a problem every time I followed their advice. At the moment, according to them, 102 satoshis/byte is required to get the transaction confirmed between 0 and 30 minute. According to your website, you need only 83 Sat/B. There is a quite good difference between your and their stats.
On another hand, like this simple design, it's a good website for quick use with brief information, good luck!
1567  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay -- KYC is here! on: January 18, 2021, 07:52:21 PM
Found a response on Reddit from a BitPay staff member: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/kvujzq/fck_bitpay_use_coingate/gj0w8se/. It seems like they have introduced or are introducing mandatory KYC for all EU customers, regardless of value of transaction.
If only more people would care and ignore them. They can probably afford to lose a small percentage of their customers, but if they'd lose 95% of their business, they might change their requirements.
If it's for EU: would a VPN in Mexico work? Cheesy
I think it would be better to choose other countries than Mexico Cheesy
Personally, I can't understand the one thing: There is BitPay and there is BTCPay with zero fees. Why would someone use BitPay over BTCPay? I think BitPay also knows that BTCPay exists, so there is higher competition for them but instead of making things easier, they are making everything very hard and crypto unfriendly. Logically, this should destroy their business. Asking KYC for transactions is very unethical and disgusting. Isn't it my right to protect my privacy? And then governments tell us about how your free will is protected by the law.

Conclusion: This world is shit (most likely we make it shit), full of lies where people are still slaves, where people are just a toy for marketers and data analysts, eh...
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: January 17, 2021, 08:00:27 PM
Never going to happen imo, they’re smaller, weaker, slower, just not going to happen imo.
Yeah, "women are equal of men" and similar feminine things are getting really terrible. There is nothing wrong with things like men and women both have to take care of their children, women are as good in math and technical subjects as men, etc... But women into a squad where men play is a terrible idea.

Just imagine when women play football in men's team and also imagine that in the opponent team squad includes Ramos, Pepe and other rough players. Women can't be physically as good as men, they just don't have similar possibilities in this aspect. Well, if steroids will be legal for women in sports, then maybe they should compete.
1569  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 17, 2021, 07:33:21 PM
Can anyone tell me how reliable are the statistics provided by the Indian government? From what I have seen, Indian people are closely, there are thousands of people in places where in Europe you may see only 50-100 man. There are so many people in India and they live so closely, I am very amazed that statistics provided by their government is very low. I am not Indian but logically if we have a look at their livings, at least 90% of the population should be covid infected. Also, I wouldn't say that restrictions were beneficial for Indian people, higher percentage of their population is very poor and if not Covid, then hunger will kill them.
1570  Other / Off-topic / Re: People Here Not educated and no knowledge on: January 17, 2021, 11:31:59 AM
Says a person who:
Wants to promote ponzi scheme
Is a loan scammer, asking for a Non-Collateral loan

Really strange if there is something wrong with other people and not with you after this.

And, did you really find out that gmaxwell and achow101 post nonsense? (just for example).
1571  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: January 16, 2021, 05:09:38 PM
Yes, it is. The second lockdown will be necessary to prevent many people gets infected from the new variant of Covid-19 which already spreads to some countries. While the vaccine is not yet distributed to many hospitals and not many people get cured by the vaccine, a new virus is already attacked England, and some country prohibits for people who come from England to enter to their country. I guess the attack of the Covid-19 will continue in the next year, and with the new virus comes out, we really need to extra careful in the public area.
Why is it necessary? If you are afraid of Covid, then stay at home. If I am a young, very healthy person living isolated, alone, then what's wrong with me? Why shouldn't I work? Especially if I protect all the recommendations + always protect the social distance?

When the government tells you that quarantine and restrictions are needed to stop the spread of Covid, it means that they tell you: You are dumbass stupid who is so silly that I have to push him by law.

In reality, this lockdown will be painful for us but not for them. Show me any politician who suffers from financial loses because of covid, they get a salary like before and make tons of money in vaccine orders, PCR tests, etc.
1572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry guys.. Bitcoin is not for our day-to-day transactions. on: January 16, 2021, 03:38:53 PM
Sorry but the majority of my transactions are for day-to-day transactions. Top of the list is food delivery (which is getting more frequent in these times), but I'm also now already able to get a lot of credit (paid for with Bitcoin) at almost all the stores I shop at. Cashback rocks.

That's not even counting the payments I make to people or to deposit for the things I do every day (sportsbetting for example). All in Bitcoin.

Sure, I still have to sell for the cash to pay most bills and other expenses. And granted, it'll continue to be the case for a while. But sorry, Bitcoin really is for my day-to-day.
I think that you aren't talking about direct transactions from your bitcoin wallet because it's very unprofitable to do transactions daily via bitcoin wallet. If you want to send $30, you'll have to pay almost half of this (if not more).
So, I think that you are using bitcoin debit card, right? Then, without a doubt, it's amazing, especially if you own Binance card, they offer cashback on each payment (but at the same time this service comes with a lot of problems as I see).

Btw I agree with the OP, bitcoin isn't for day-to-day transactions and it was never meant for massive usage, that's why we implemented segwit but somehow businesses don't even try to offer segwit payments.
1573  Other / Meta / Re: What do you think about this UI? on: January 16, 2021, 01:52:06 PM
UI interface is beautiful, the design is streamlined, but there are a lot of notes:

 - There is no need for there to be a stats icon.
 - There is no notification icon or at least icon for "Show new replies to your posts."
 - There is no need for Help icon.
 - Instead of a member icon, make it an icon to search for members.
 - add Create topic.

Overall, I liked the design, especially the dark mode.

I think live preview of this App (prototype) would answer all the similar questions. I plan to change home icon with + and after clicking on it, user will be able to create new thread.

I implemented Stats icon and others because when you login on bitcointalk, you have these menus/options under your avatar.
"Show new replies to your posts" will be available in "Topic" area, when you click on it, there will be the following listings:
Unread Posts
Replies to your posts
Watchlist

There's not much to say apart from the part that, you've given some of the cryptocurrencies a spotlight that they don't deserve [it's bitcointalk.org, not cryptotalk.org] on the login page.

You should probably add this one to OP as well.
Bitcointalk is a place where we discuss not only about Bitcoin but about altcoins too. I personally think that I didn't included bad altcoins (except litecoin that is just an useless copy/paste). Btw I am open to hear suggestions from users. If they don't like this kind of login page, then I'll change. Btw, App will be redesigned again and interface will be upgraded.
1574  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.ME ⭐NEW v5.0⭐ | Daily & Weekly Competitions | Exclusive Games & Lottery on: January 16, 2021, 11:23:59 AM
This is the real update, couldn't expect if the 5th version would be so good. Nice user interface, really nice match of the colours but at first I was expecting to find Dice and similar games in Casino section and I was amazed when I saw them in "Exclusives" section because these games aren't really exclusive and the most common ones for crypto casinos.
Also, I suggest you to change the color of High roll in Dice. It's red right now and if you consider the colour psychology, red is a colour of warning, something bad. It looks like we should avoid to click the "high" roll. Otherwise, everything is good.

Seems you are going to add live casinos in near future, right?
1575  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Visa Cards Are Now Available in Europe on: January 16, 2021, 10:35:54 AM
So, finally what's the conclusion? I ordered Binance card and will receive it soon but from your posts it seems that it's a waste of time and a headache to use that card in real life. Despite the fact that I own multiple cards with balances and can immediately send money from any card to any card, I thought of fully moving on cryptocurrencies and crypto card but I don't want to always be in an awkward situation.
I usually trade on Binance and like their platform, so using Xapo and binance at the same time is not an optimal solution

I hope you guys report these things to Binance and they'll fix all the problems. I wish they would profesionally launch this service.
1576  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 60+ Billion Bets | 113+ BTC Jackpot! on: January 16, 2021, 09:41:12 AM
this site has the most shittiest KYC system. they waste so much time to verify u. why come up with kyc if you cant verify instantly like other sites do. dont copy features u cant handle Angry Sad
Actually, this is normal for me, almost 2-3 days for the KYC process. If you have further questions, you can contact support from Primedice. I think the kyc process for the instant one is a little difficult because it validates your data.
Well, KYC verification process on PrimeDice lasts from 24 to 72 hours. I don't know why they need so much time, they claimed that a lot of people send KYC documents daily and they seriously take care of documents verification but I hugely doubt they are processing as much KYC documents as Binance (and Binance verifies in some minutes). So, while I hugely love PrimeDice and call them the creators of Dice, but let's say truth - their KYC verification process is terrible. I have experience in gambling industry and clients always want to get verified instantly, there are a lot of complains when they aren't verified in 1 hour timeframe. So, 24 hour and even more is terrible. Hope they'll fix this problem.
1577  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Live Video platform alternative to Youtube on: January 16, 2021, 08:33:39 AM
First of all, can anyone tell me what does decentralized video platform means? And why should I use that instead of Youtube? What will be the pros and cons of "decentralized youtube"?

Then, you have to seriously think about "How youtube has unlimited storage". They don't delete any video, even if it has been unwatched for years and still the maximum file size you can upload is 128 GB or 12 hours. Also, popular videos are stored all over the world.

Then here comes the competition. All the famous people on the internet are registered and making content on youtube. Youtube has star/famous content creators in every available and imaginable niche. For me it seems almost impossible to beat, even if Musk said that youtube is bad and SignalTube is better, it can't help you. You need serious scandal around youtube and doing a lot of dirty jobs.

Also, a partnership like Metacafe had with Skype can be very beneficial (As I remember you could only post a video from Metacafe on your timeline?).

But... As Vod said, you don't really need to compete with youtube, you can have your own audience but in this case, I prefer to be oriented on something, for example, specified like Twitch is for gamers.
1578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy / sell? Nothing but bad luck so far. on: January 15, 2021, 08:56:24 PM
Buying coin from an exchange and then immediately withdrawing/transferring can turn an alarm for them.

Also, you have to choose right time because these days, price easily goes from 32K to 39K, it plays in this interval and I guess 7K USD is a good profit, doesn't worth to waste.
It's hard to suggest whether today is the right day to enter into market or not. Price can easily go up to 50K and even more but it can easily freeze on 40K and soon we will see it lower than 30K. It's hard to predict to my mind and personally I don't even give this kind of suggestions because I have seen people on reddit who sold their house and bought bitcoins when price was 20K. It was a bad days for them, so, that's why I mostly prefer to don't give direct suggestions.

Also, remember! Not your keys - not your coins.

But I guess it should be okay if you register on finance, buy bitcoins and finally withdraw on your cold wallet. I hugely doubt you have so terrible fate with exchanges that millions of people will feel a loss.
1579  Other / Meta / Re: What do you think about this UI? on: January 15, 2021, 04:42:52 PM
It's obvious that I plan to change the UI that I already posted, so don't get amazed if login is different from the previous concept.

Again, don't hesitate to leave your feedback, it's very important for me!

Edit:
Wrong category. This was supposed to be a message number not topic number. So, here it is:
https://ninjastic.space/post/14358522
https://loyce.club/archive/oldposts/143/143585xx.html#msg14358523
It still means nothing, there are so much posts on bitcointalk, without doubt, such number would fit it but it has nothing to do with the bitminers.asia

From screenshot it's obvious that Bitcoin Core version is outdated:
Quote
2019-11-24

Bitcoin Core version 0.19.0.1 released

Still a mystic number Cheesy

When mods send topic to the trashcan or delete it then you will see this message. There are few users who scrap the forum almost in less than 1 second once anything posted, if you do to their sites and search then you will see what was the topic/message that posted.
You'll see that message on every topic URL that did never existed, for example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=53123123121231231241241209428.0
