15661  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM REPORT: online wallet for smartcoin on: February 02, 2014, 11:40:13 AM
I wouldn't use any online wallet for alt coins. They usually always turn out to be scams or they get hacked etc.
15662  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying $5 Worth Of BTC on: February 02, 2014, 11:34:35 AM
They can always buy bitcoin with paypal on ebay.. I believe  Wink

Yeah, if you wanted to buy a tiny bit of BTC with PP ebay would be your best and safest bet.
15663  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoinclassifieds.net: Ads with EUR or USD prices are now updated automatically on: February 02, 2014, 11:23:29 AM
Is it free to list on here and is there an escrow service available? Can't find much info.
15664  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fontas on Twitter is a scam on: February 02, 2014, 11:18:57 AM
Nice to know. But the "real" Fontas was much more expensive Smiley

I'd say they both sell pretty expensive bullshit. What happened to the "real" Fontas anyway? I heard he got arrested.
15665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Paper Wallet question on: February 02, 2014, 11:16:49 AM

I've got no knowledge with paper wallets. So I need to know basic step by step instructions on how to get btc from a paper wallet to my bitstamp account.

Thanks

Try this: https://blockchain.info/wallet/paper-tutorial Can't get any simpler.

That is a pretty good tutorial and I am surprised that I haven't found it before Tongue

This guide should be more well advertised!

Well it's the first that comes up on google for paper wallet tutorial Cheesy.

26 out of the first 40 "Recent Updated Topics" right now are about alt-coins.

I 'm not saying that the alt coin section should be killed but it's definetaly getting harder and harder to read something about bitcoin in this forum.

You can ignore the board in your preferences.

or we could remove it an elimate the scammers easy buck...

I doubt that will eliminate scammers. There's always gonna be scammers as long as there's greedy gullible people.

Can anyone recommend a good sc-fi -  not widely known but still good?

Sunshine is worth a watch if you haven't already seen it.

Really? Thought it was pretty confusing and nonsensical. Had some cool effects though.

This guy in England who apparently sold legit goods on SR is trying to sue for his money back haha: http://www.forbes.com/sites/andygreenberg/2014/01/31/silk-road-vendor-filing-claim-for-seized-bitcoins-argues-he-sold-only-legal-items/

There has to be a few other sellers who were "completely legit", as it were. Good luck to him!

There was a few who sold legal items and/or legal drugs (alcohol etc). Will be interesting to see what happens.

I had a dentist once just start drilling into additional teeth without my permission. Found out out afterward. I was not happy.

One of my fears of going to the dentist is they'll start drilling a tooth that hasn't been anaesthetised.

Buying and selling bitcointalk accounts is completely legal based on forum rules.

I think this guy is just finding some reasons. I search about this casino and found out they are shady. They are offering a giveaway for 1000 users and giving only to handful of individuals and claiming they give to 1000 members. And now this with such cheap reason, be careful of this casino guys this may scam you.
He is paying you for all of your posts. If you get two accounts in the campaign, he would be paying you twice the amount for the same amount of posts you would make in just one. Having two accounts just divides your posts in 2.

This is why it's best to pay per posts. This deal was just asking to be exploited.
15678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Promising Altcoins for 2014 on: February 01, 2014, 04:25:12 PM
1) Who actually googles 'sex'?
2) Bitcoin will probably be used more for this industry than SXC coin ever will.
3) Do you want to use a coin called sex for these industries?
4) I don't know what this is  Grin
1. You are just being sarcastic without knowing the reality. For many years the word has been in the top ranking.

I'm not being sarcastic at all. Can you provide sources for sex being the most searched word, or even being in the top ones? I can understand maybe porn or something.
