Well at least it wasn't a thread about fucking goats whch is what I expected.

Another example why celibacy doesn't work.

Yeah, repressing ones sexuality and sexual urges usually has bad/psychological consequences.
16522  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MakeBTC.org Pyramid Scheme on: January 22, 2014, 02:00:28 PM
I think it's possible to reach level 30+. Also if chinese bitcoin holders discover the site, even further levels we can see in a few months.

Why would the Chinese be interested in pyramid schemes? They tend to invest their money wisely.

My friend, you are clearly not that familiar with China... just look at the amount of fraudulent schemes they fell for, for example to get a green card for the US - google China EB-5 visa fraud...

People of any nationality fall for scams, but the Chinese generally tend to be pretty smart-witted with their investments and building businesses etc.

I hope you lose it all for saying that. Unbelievable.

Wow..... what a horrible thing to say...... I'd much rather be poor and never lose a member of family than rich and lose members.

Yeah, I agree with both of you, but I think he may be trolling (see username).
16524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Las Vegas casinos begin accepting Bitcoin on: January 22, 2014, 01:49:56 PM
I dont think its a step - good or bad.

An easy way to get free publicity is all.
But good luck to them anyways.

Any business using Bitcoin is good and a step in the right direction.

buy FTC at 36 watch BTC-e announce they are pairing FTC with USD and boom double your $. Same thing happened with PPC they are sneaky. Prob even coordinated the attack on the forum yesterday to get sells to come into their 300BTC buy order.

FTC is going to sink further unless there is some serious news. The buy wall at 36 will break soon enough.

What makes you think that they are adding FTC/USD anytime soon? Having said this, it may be necessary as it is way too crowded in FTC/BTC.

Its just a hunch. They used a few dirty tactics to accuire alot of FTC . Another one was that they were delisting FTC (price dropped like 60%/BTC then later that day they recanted with an oops it was a mistake. Shorty after FTC rose 500% to like $1.20 a coin.

They have tons of FTC they will not just let it die. Watch remember this convo and see what happens shortly

I found their behaviour on this suspicious and questionable too. FTC has been pretty stagnant but I'm sure it'll rise sometime this year.

with bitcoin?

i hath 3 block erupters antminer u1 overclocked to 6gh/s but... thinking of buying a 60gh model or lower any there anny point to this ponzi scheme?? the difficulty just increases too frequently i mean 6gh is a lot anyway for a small thing i think its a lost cause most of us hath joined too late and it will probably end bad for the newc umers it woz best if you got in early and had thousands stocked up but now i fear its too late wayy to late i am not in denial as some

Forget about mining it. Concentrate of creating Bitcoin related services. That is where the real wealth is waiting to be scooped up. If you don't create something, someone else will.

I agree with this. There's going to be so many gaps for services and businesses opening up with the rising popularity of Bitcoin that it's going to be a gold mine for entrepreneurs (if it isn't already).

Good old God killing off your relatives so you can bask in the warmth or wealth, eh?
16527  Other / Off-topic / Re: Stop buying cigarettes and invest each pack in BTC Enroll in the program ! on: January 22, 2014, 01:36:58 PM
How about I buy cigarettes with bitcoin instead?

Don't waste precious Bitcoin on cigarettes that would be such a waste.

Why? For any currency to be a success one must be able to buy whatever they want with it - good or bad.
16528  Other / Off-topic / Re: [NSFW] Nudists are into Bitcoin !!! on: January 22, 2014, 01:36:00 PM
Oldest trick in the book.... everyon can pull out from the internet a picture of a chick and add "plz donate btc"...

But not everyone can put baubles on their boobs.

Problem is - they are not bitcoin related baubles.

A whore must be 100% real genuine whore AND put a little effort to find bitcoin props for her shoot to be relevant. A btc tattooed whore would get greater attention, but at least some btc panties or something?

Somebody posted their Bitcoin baubles in another thread somewhere. And I think you're putting too much thought into this Grin. Or just 'slut shaming'.
16529  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcointalk.org shirts for sale. on: January 22, 2014, 01:33:04 PM
I can do that one as a custom for $15usd+Shipping.

Are you still able to do the QR code printing on the back? Would love one with my address on, as I'm sure would many others.

That thread's a bit dated haha. The user hasn't even posted since October.

Might want to timestamp the pics with the date and your username. Most people wont trust a newb selling Apple stuff, especially on their first post.
16532  Other / Off-topic / Re: Vegas Casino accepts BTC on: January 22, 2014, 01:19:54 PM
Even if it poorly done, its a good advertise ploy, just to get their name out there in what every paper is chatting about BTC.

Providing it is legal, they should experiment with a bitcoin gambling machine. I'm sure that would be a big draw and would get them a lot of free advertising.
16533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best paper for a paper wallet on: January 22, 2014, 01:17:44 PM
I am looking for something better then just good old paper to print paper wallet. But I cant seem to find anything. The closest I can find is water proof paper for maps.(don't know how thick it is) I like to keep a paper wallet with .01 btc in my wallet to help explain bitcoin  when asked. I am wondering if their is paper out their that is more like current currency than binder paper.

Books printed on "good old paper" can last hundreds of years. Don't see the need for "special paper". We have a similar thread about types of ink. Same thing again. Any normal ink is fine. Books that monks wrote 1500 years ago are still perfectly legible. I don't think hi-tech solutions are needed for paper/ink when doing paper wallets. Maybe don't use invisible ink though Smiley

Do they? Most books I have start to yellow pretty quickly even after a few years. And those old books are usually written on papyrus or hemp paper or some other form.

I put the referral link in my sig yesterday and already have 66 referrals. Nuts. Looking forward to when PD3 goes live.

How did you even do that did you use sock puppets or something?

Yes, I created 60 odd Primedice accounts just to get referrals  Roll Eyes. I already stated how I got them. And I have exactly 100 now  Grin.

There is NO REFERRAL currently, anything currently going to PrimeDice doesnt count and is not active.

I'm already aware of that.

Laminating it would stop it from folding properly to hide the privet key I would think. A card would work but they don't hold up all that well either.

Why don't you buy one of these: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400367.0;topicseen

There's other cards available in the marketplace if you don't like that one.
16536  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: January 22, 2014, 01:01:53 PM
Since I watched Batman Returns the other day, I thought I'd give The Dark Knight Rises another spin.

And just like I initially thought when seeing it in theaters, The Dark Knight is a superior film in every aspect imaginable.

I thought Batman begins was pretty shit, The Dark Knight was fantastic, and TDKR was all right.

CAn you help me out, im looking to pay someone to post ads for me on CL,  they dont take bitcoins only paypal.

I have a suggestion, why dont you create a own paypal account, which is virtual, and just use it for craigslist?

Oh, Craigslist. I've never used it before, but isn't it free to post on there, or do you want somebody to post listings for you?

http://rt.com/usa/las-vegas-casino-bitcoin-974/

This could be the start of some fun.

They claim they will not accept BTC for bets, but at least its a start that they accept it for food/rooms.

I wonder why they'll accept it for food/rooms, but not gambling? Seems weird.

I'm sure there is some legal reasons.

Probably so tight now because of the old days of the Mob and the skim.

If they can accept cash then why not Bitcoin? People bet with the chips anyway, don't they? Aren’t they just a form of money?

16540  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favourite movies at Netflix. on: January 22, 2014, 12:45:30 PM
Why dont you guys just use torrent. It a great way to get movies

What's the point? I used to use torrents to download files, but why bother when you have a littl set top box that pretty much does it all for you, and without having to wait for the download.

To counter that you could say why stream when you can download the file to keep forever and watch whenever you want?

Because I can watch them whenever I want, with no storage needed. I have a huge external hard drive full of films when I used to download them, which is useful to have, but I much prefer the Pi for it now. When I'm in the mood for a film, I don't wanna have to wait an hour for it to DL on my crappy Sky Internet. I just boot up the Pi and search for it. So much quicker.

Surely if you can stream them fine you can download them fine too? Does Icefilms have every film that is available online, or do the links ever turn out to be dead etc? And you don't have to be in the mood for the film there and then, if you have them all on an external drive you can pick whatever you choose from that selection.

Yeah there are dead links sometimes, but there are loads to choose from. I've never had to go without because of dead links. They get removed pretty swiftly too. I guess that's true if you have them all on your hard drive already. I like that the Pi connects easily to the HDMI port on my TV and hides behind my TV nicely. Each to their own I guess. Either way, it's way better than Netflix!

Yeah, my bro always moans and asks why I download so much when I could just get netflix. I argue why even bother with netflix.
