Dude oh my god, your site is fuckin awesome. The UI is sooo clean like AND the GRAPHS are amazing and very interactive. Suggestions: - Allow users to sort the post information in alphabetical order, or in terms of oldest date to the newest date? - Integrate Loyce and BPIP information and make charts on the site regarding trust ratings and merits? - A patrol to keep track of banned users perhaps? I know loyce's site does this, but i really like your layout, it would be cool to have everything on one site instead of 3.

And I'm the only one who hear names of these forums for the first time?
No. There's at least two of us. And TBH this thread sounds a bit like "we are the most popular group of people still using rotary telephones"... not exactly something to be particularly proud of Make that 3. I can't even access two of those forums, its hecking blocked by ISP lol. Also SMF is so fuckin old, it doesn't even matter if we are the most active(most of them are bots so pls). Like suchmoon said, this ain't something to be proud of at all? Its cool to think about for 1 second, after that fuck cares.

Eh, its not a big deal. If you plan to stop the forum from conversations like this, I assure you, 92% of the forum would be dead. It is somewhat good that these topics still exist, it sparkles a little bit of discussion although not in the right way, at this point, it is kinda appreciated. Yes, the spam is awful and dealing with it sucks, but the spam is what also causes the community to come together to collectively tell the trolls to go suck their grandma's tiddies. So don't worry, trolls will never stop, and plus why do you want to have a boring forum experience when you can talk shit to trolls and make them butthurt .

I don't know if BPIP already offers this(I haven't come across it at least), but maybe there could be multiple theme options to choose from for Bitcointalk? Something similar is there on the BPIP site itself, it would be great if it can be implemented here as well. I have other suggestions as well: - Auto resizer option for avatar uploads(if someone uploads a large file with bigger pixels, insert a js script to resize it). - Make the "Create a topic" page more user friendly, as in put the additional options(" Notify me of replies, Watch this topic, Return to this topic, Don't use smileys.) below the post which are usually hidden in a more accessible way. - Add a BB code table generator( https://www.teamopolis.com/tools/bbcode-table-generator.aspx) - Image upload to url convertor(have an upload button for images below a post to allow a user to upload an image and that gets added to an online image hosting service and gets converted into a bbcode img link. I will recommend more when and if i come up with more ideas.

Yes I need a lengthy explanation, what did you mean I’m inviting spammers on my thread?? Look at the 28 posts did you notice any spam post ??
Here is your lengthy explanation: Y O U R T O P I C === S H I T
Y O U R P O L L === S H I T
ergo, your poll got deleted. If you want an even further explanation, read this.

I was almost going to start a thread about this today, but I decided not to.
Got a text from PayPal today (which I deleted) telling me that I'm off of the waitlist of US customers in line to start using whatever it is they think they're doing with bitcoin. Because of another thread I recently read on the forum (and I can't find the post I made in my post history for some reason), I decided that there's no way I'm going to be using PayPal's crypto service. As far as I can tell, you're not able to buy any actual bitcoin from them, just a bitcoin balance held on PayPal's books which you can use....for whatever.
And as I said in that other thread, this is the same thing Robinhood does. When you "buy bitcoin" through them, you're simply speculating on the price of bitcoin; you don't have access to your private keys; and you can't deposit or withdraw bitcoin. I'm going to pass on services like these. If you're not in custody of your private keys you don't own your coins, and there's absolutely no advantage for me to purchase bitcoin through PayPal (or Robinhood) when I could buy actual bitcoin at preev 1:1 right here on this forum if I wanted to.
Ewwwww yuck. Damn all the hype for paypal x crypto was just for this?? hello excuse me? Damn man, I thought there would just be hurdles like KYC for Paypal x crypto, but not even getting the option to buy actual btc, or even deposit or withdraw? That's absolutely shitty. my hopes for finding a good exchange is going lower by the day . (I know paypal doesn't count qualify as an exchange but whatever).

Is there an existing solution to the following:
What I have: My home is 95% automated and controlled by voice (and set up with low energy uses) What I want: I'm looking for an idea to create an automation to receive a notification.
Let me give examples If I have a water leak, the light in the kitchen lights up red. If I receive a letter in the mailbox, the light in the living room lights up green. If I forgot to close a window I receive an alert... Or, if I say "Alexa what's the price of Bitcoin" I get the current price
Now what I'm looking for is: If, for example, the Bitcoin' price increases (or decreases) by 5% the latest 24h, I get a notification. I have no problem to set it up with my system, I just lack an idea to get the trigger
No matter if it is for example an existing service sending me an email, an existing Twitter account, Youtube channel, FB, an RSS, I can even accept a PM on Bitcointalk lol...
Yes i think blockfolio does this? I receive notifications of price updates either if a crypto price reaches a certain number in x hours, or if the price of the crypto changes by x percentage in y hours. It looks something like this:
Am i mistaken by what you're asking, or is this what you were seeking for?

Yeah Project Dev AND Meta both should have trust visible for all users, Meta because its one of the more popular boards among the bunch, and its Meta(info about the forum, and trust is part of the forum). Project Dev could definitely use a revamp of sorts.
But yes, upvote from me which is completely useless, but upvote. theymos do your thing.

Any updates about this?
Yep, I contacted the merchant who assured me twice that the bank transaction was unsuccessful and therefore no payment was received. They couldn't give me any more details as I didn't give any information about the card. I then tried to contact Prepaiddigitalsolutions but no response to date. In any case, I doubt I will receive a constructive one. I'm not the type of person to complain on Trustpilot and given the answers I think it's useless. 100€ to throw in the bin If I would be the seller I would remove their card from my site so that my customers would not have an uncomfortable experience (even if it's not my fault) (by the way, I remember it took me like 3 hours to register the card because the site is so buggy) What the shit? 3 HOURS??? wtffff Try sending a remainder email to Prepaiddigitalsolutions perhaps??? You never know, what will happen. Complain like a karen to them, they will refund you But seriously though, don't give up on this, 100€ is quite a bit, so try what you can do.

Is there someone who used a Mastercard VCC from Prepaiddigitalsolution recently? I got one and I'm unable to use it, I tried on 4 websites, 2-3 times each, and the card payment is always refused. I tried to top up a bank account too but failed. I'm stuck with a €100 VCC, don't even know what to do with it, and can't even give it away as there is my name tied to the numbers Well even if you give it away, chances are it won't work for them either. Seeing prepaiddigitalsolution's trust pilot reviews, it is HIGHY questionable whether the VCC would even work. But keep trying on different sites, you never know what might happen. Good luck!

FrickkKK, not Lauda toooo We will miss you Lauda <3. Its genuinely sad to see you go, fuckin-fuck. Even if you're gone, like others mentioned, hope you look at us from the shadows, and maybe even show up without us knowing. Either way, its your choice, and from the bottom of our hearts, goodbye. We will miss you, cherish you, but never forget you. Your existence made a hell a lot of impact on this forum and I hope you know that, you rattled away so many idiots, and I am going to miss seeing that happen. Cheers. ...why do i sound like i am giving an eulogy...

Well it's been discussed many a time before and threads like this always pop up every once in a while and I as well others usually offer the same suggestions over and over. You could of course restrict signatures to certain ranks and that would help a bit, but it wouldn't be a solution to the problem as there are thousands of highly ranked accounts that do make low quality posts and will continue to do so. I also think it would be harsh to blanket ban lower-ranked members when there will be great posters among them and to get a high rank is hard and also very time consuming (unless we offered more donator ranks which some with the benefits of higher ranks). I think a much fairer solution would be just to enforce the signature campaign guidelines and punish poorly run campaigns and the problem would likely solve itself. Do you ban roads because there's a minority of idiots who want to joyride and go 150MPH everywhere? No, you punish the idiots who are causing the problem. The forum is in a bad way because there's absolutely no ramifications for doing a bad job but once there is people will quickly learn that it's not acceptable to do a shoddy job.
I understand what you mean, but am just trying to out suggestions out there. I think, maybe, instead of waiting for admins to enforce signature guidelines, why don't you update your thread in the services board? If any manager is personally responsible for spreading more span, he should be banned for a day first, then 3, then a week, etc. I know it won't curb down spam, and its hard to find each and every single manager that allows their campaign participants to spam, but this is still a possibility considering the options available out here which isn't alot.

~~~~~ I don't know if anyone has asked this before, but what do you, or the moderation team think of solving the spam issue(other than the remove signature option which has been the goto-reply for years). Like why not make signatures restrictive for full members, or above? Or make some boards for full member and above(like Serious Discussion), but with signatures ON instead? How about hosting some sort of contests every week, or some games(like how Among Us is getting insanely popular, forum members could get invited to play). Or how about expanding bitcointalk more than just as a forum, and exploring the idea of having courses related to bitcoin launched on this forum, or other platforms, and also maybe having a youtube channel as such? I can go on about recommending things, that might potentially increase forum discussions, if said things are implemented right.
Uhm, not a bad idea in theory.
But like, considering how MANY members are leaving the forum, I would NOT restrict newbies more than they currently are. For me at least, even if there is 1 genuine newbie who wants to partake in the forum discussion, I would rather have him take part in conversations, even at the cost at other shitposters making shitposts.
Newbie jail was a thing, its not a thing anymore for a reason. Let the free forum spirit be as it has always been. If people wanna spam, well fuck them. Its the cost of the Internet.
1) I really want to know the implications if someone uses another persons system (laptop) to login he/her bitcointalk account and knowing that the owner of the system is bitcointalk member.
Okay so number one isn't really an issue, its just that the community of BTT in general has seen cases where someone says "Person X logged in on behalf of me and plagiarized a post it wasn't me blah blah blah", and so usually these statements turn out to be a lie, so from a community perspective this is kinda frowned upon, but from the forum's perspective you can do it, no harm. 2) And if someone research work online and read it to his level of understanding, after comprehending the text very well, he reframed it as topic and also drop the source, Can it call plagiarism?
uHm if you spin the text and post it, and if someone catches you, you're likely gonna be banned. Spinning the text is one thing, and paraphrasing things without the intent of plagiarism is another. The gap between the two is thick as a thread, so it depends on a case-to-case basis. And if you do drop a source, then you're very less likely to get banned.
