1641  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much you have earned through crypto referral on: March 31, 2023, 09:52:52 PM
I earned a lot, not so sure the amount is but is over thousands of dollars. Well, to be honest i used to promote cloud mining before lol same as faucets, when bitcoin is like so little in price, thats what i've been doing before i've got introduced here.
But yeah, despite of the price i earned so much, well, im not so serious of promoting it, because what i just did, is promote my referral on bitcoin adnetwork paying from what i've earned in faucets, i forgot whats the name of the adnetwork. But yeah, advertising my referral link help so much promoting it and making lots of referrals.
Well, today, i guess its not worth it anymore with so many issues in crypto space even if you have blogs and youtube channels.
1642  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com "oops, something went wrong..." on: March 31, 2023, 09:44:38 PM
I sent a ticket to their support. They replied with a generic reply such as "update your app" which was no help..
Sounds like normal to blockchain.com, nothing has changed. Anyway, you can wait for them to respond.

However I can't see that transaction on my blockchain.com app activity nor I can see the money/activity when logged in on browser.
Btw, you mean your SOL is not there anymore on your balance and there's no transaction history either? Try to clear cache and hard refresh the page.
1643  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com "oops, something went wrong..." on: March 31, 2023, 09:26:11 PM
So did you asked their support first as indicated on the error message before making a thread here? Blockchain.com changed a lot together with their policies and its bugs when it become an exchange, so opening a support ticket could be a big help.
1644  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beaxy exchange closed by SEC on: March 31, 2023, 09:54:50 AM
If remember correctly, well, if im not wrong, this is one of the exchange promoted by @cryptanzee on twitter with its famous memes. Besides that, i never seen them anywhere except the fact and realizing that they have their own ANN thread here linked above lol.
Well, they are a bit of lucky, they were only got noticed this year or so, operating without license or without regulatory docs for many years.

Edit: Confirmed its them, after searching on twitter.
1645  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Guildelines on binance transaction on: March 31, 2023, 09:45:34 AM
Always remember when it comes to an exchange platform, for transferring your assets to any wallet regardless you own it or not, you will always use the "Withdraw" feature of the exchange.

Even sending to binance user address is through withdrawal as well, the difference is binance can check if the wallet is a binance wallet so there's no withdrawal fee will be deducted.
1646  Economy / Exchanges / Re: E-mail from FTX with alleged scheduled claim information and client code on: March 30, 2023, 11:53:51 PM
Yes, that's the site of FTX following when ftx.com is accessed.
Hopefully it will be a green light for those who have stuck balance there before the shutdown take place. Follow everything that is written there, Good luck to all.
1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency purchases on: March 30, 2023, 11:19:41 PM

Then just last month a digital items like steam wallet, domains related items and other inexpensive stuffs since i have my priorities than for my self already.
1648  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone used http://bitify.com and what's the authencity ? on: March 30, 2023, 11:11:10 PM
So far, this is only site i think had never linked to scam issues in terms of their escrow service. Never used them personally but i didn't heard any bad review or major issue using them as well. So i could assume they are still as good as them just like before.
1649  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: March 30, 2023, 10:55:38 PM
Makes sense but the question still stands: why would he ban forum staff from advertising mixing services? Obviously there must have been some legal concerns, so the question is, if those concerns are not applicable to the forum users as well.
It's possible that he was just overly cautious and that there may be some legal grey areas. My guess would be that staff can be seen as official representatives of the forum, so anything endorsed by them could be seen as officially supported by the forum (and its owner).
Theymos could be just very cautious for bitcointalk not getting directly linked and direct way promoting mixers, since staffs are directly paid by theymos — from forum funds far from getting message from a legal bodies.

My guess would be that staff can be seen as official representatives of the forum, so anything endorsed by them could be seen as officially supported by the forum (and its owner).
And yeah, this could be the very reason why he decided that.
Not to mention, google and facebook still accepts scam crypto ads.
1650  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising on the forum no longer supported? on: March 30, 2023, 10:45:12 PM
Is the forum only generating revenue from donations now? Doesn't seem like a viable business model.
The forum has enough budget/reserve for many years that funds getting from forum ads is unnecessary anymore.
With the mixers issue and selective scamming of gambling sites, since these two are the most service who get ad slots here, it really make sense theymos stopping forum ads being undecided on what service he will accept.
1651  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to use crypto to miximize profits through sport betting. on: March 29, 2023, 10:54:42 PM
Crypto is rapidly going traction as an investment opportunity, and now you can use digital currency while playing all type of sport betting
Obviously most sport betting sites have crypto option for deposits even way back few years ago so no need to mention it especially in a place and a forum board like gambling section.
It will be much appreciated to mention it on maybe in a place like subreddits r/gambling or r/crypto.
1652  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: March 29, 2023, 10:38:43 PM
Now I wonder, if the staff aren't allowed to advertise such kind of services, then it is highly likely that we as forum members will eventually become restricted as well. It's just a matter of time where other mixing services will start to withdraw one-by-one  Undecided.
Not until theymos publicly announce it. Until using mixers is declared as illegal by the authorities. Since its on the forum rules, of promoting illegal is not allowed then it will not be allowed.
1653  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Participating in Mixer Signature Campaign on: March 29, 2023, 10:31:55 PM
Mixers are not completely illegal unless law enforcers change their view about it, so promoting it is not illegal. Marketers or us wearing signatures, promoting it will not be liable for any damage it may do.
Because if authorities will sue any promoters or the users, it will be a hell out of using lot of resources that's why hunt in its owners to stop the operation will be their best choice.

If theymos were asked to stop anyone in this forum to promote mixers then so be it, we will do, but not until it does, this will continue.
1654  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk.org (WAP) > conventional webpage on: March 29, 2023, 06:11:54 AM
Wap version of forum is already there since the very beginning, it is included on any SMF version, usually you can find it on google as it is indexed too besides the original looks/layout/url without ;wap or ;wap2.
1655  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CRYPTOK – Sulit ba ito? on: March 28, 2023, 11:47:29 PM
Gusto ko maexperience ito pero sana yung topic will become more interesting so many will attend. If basic topics yung ididiscuss nila panigurado marami ang madidiscourage pumunta.
You mean yung mga complex topic dapat?
Smooth and basic talks lang dapat  Grin
1656  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Exchanging BTC b/w this community will serve the purpose of mixing? on: March 28, 2023, 11:37:15 PM
only a mixing service can offer you and guarantee your anonymity
You can't guarantee on such, yeah that's what mixers are advertised. But look how chipmixer save and logged user chip's private keys which will be a risk to any of its users' privacy. It's like logging their transactions too, as importing private keys will be easy to track transactions made.
1657  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance sued by CTFC on: March 28, 2023, 11:27:39 PM
Or is it very good for bitcoin, and bitcoin alone!
Any crypto company doing BS on their own always affects bitcoin price. Although it may not be a long term effect but still could be a more problematic than other incidents knowing binance is the largest exchange by volume and the most famous one.
1658  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Change address on Binance on: March 27, 2023, 11:14:38 PM
This is one of the reasons why CEX is considered as against privacy. I remember localcryptos have this kind of feature for deposit, but LC is not a traditional exchange to begin with, and it already shuts its service, unfortunately.
1659  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Exchanging BTC b/w this community will serve the purpose of mixing? on: March 27, 2023, 11:06:17 PM
So you need free mixing service, if that's what you are after on chipmixer? Which is what you are referring on your post.
Well, i guess not yet, most mixing service that still exist is using the traditional wat of mixing unlike hat chipmixer do if im not wrong.
1660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stories about lost Bitcoin on: March 26, 2023, 11:43:29 PM
Edit: Back in Feb 2020, I gave my seed phrase to someone on twitter. The convinced me the seed phrase was equal to my address and that they needed it to send me bitcoin. Don't ask me why I was so stupid... I lost approx. 1M sats and I had to start accumulating again. I bought a Trezor and I started reading...
There are hundreds like you who were victim for such scam. Especially to newbies in this space who doesn't know how important your wallet seed. That's why people needs to read first. When you're getting your seed or opening any wallet, there is a warning that you should not share those words to anyone. But unfortunately, people still get fooled.

Fortunately, i never experienced losing bitcoin on such scam for sharing information etc. I was scammed when lending twice for a "friend" here, that was years ago. Afyer that never ever tried again lending and having a trust issue when it comes to lending money to anyone even irl.
