1641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: June 13, 2022, 11:11:56 PM
This may be the ideal one to think. But sometimes, we don't know what will happen to us. not everyone is a holder or long-term investor. SO, we cannot be sure enough that we will not sell our BTC. Sometimes, we need money to cash out also r take profits. But yes,  1BTC=1BTC

It doesn't mean you cannot be. We've all started somewhere!

If you need money to cash out, it means you've invested too much. This is a problem of many people who get too greedy. They have 10k in the bank, they invest it all and the price goes down and they get stuck in this greed not wanting to take a loss and at the same time begging family and friends for some money to pay the bills.

I'm heavily invested, probably 90% of all my money is in bitcoin, but that 10% that I have lying around is enough to survive another 2 years if I need to. I won't be able to buy myself nice things, but I won't be going into debt either.
And they feel worried when seeing their portfolio going down, then cashing out is possible to secure some of their money. I believe this was the common sentiment of those people who think investing in Bitcoin and crypto will make them rich instantly without considering some instances that they may lose if being triggered with panic selling just like this time.

That is to say that real investors could wait longer and neglect market pressure while casual investors are easily got affected by the FUDs, and price fluctuations.
1642  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 13, 2022, 10:26:41 PM
It is likely we are closing down to the bottom...
The market can't able to hold weak people, they are now selling huge amounts making the market crash badly. Kinda be surprising as many accumulate in the market above $25k but for now, Bitcoin had fallen to $23k (at this post). I foresee that this might continue to drop more which could make worries and panic among the holders. As to see, this was not a small correction but big investors have already triggered panic selling.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 13, 2022, 11:51:04 AM
This could be over in 6 with Curry starting to take over.

I like that, Warriors in 6, and the odds is @4 now.

This is very tempting, to be honest, do you plan on betting with the series' correct score prediction?

In my sportsbook.

4-2 Warriors x4
4-2 Celtics x 3.80
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 13, 2022, 11:29:48 AM
Magsayo has the advantage in terms of raw power but Vargas experience will give him a hard time landing that solid direct hit to bring down to canvas this Mexican fighter. This fight is very exciting to watch since both of them have a record to protect.

This is true, Magsayo has to learn how to do the right timing as he cannot just rely on his power all the time. There are technical boxers that are hard to beat, they are quick and very smart in the ring, so if Magsayo does not improve, he has no chance to win once the fight is decided by the judges.

This is what I'm afraid of in this match, Vargas is very good on getting points while Magsayo wants a blow-by-blow fight which might be his weakness if Vargas gets an early score lead while Magsayo attempt to recover and start chasing his opponents until he gave some opening for Vargas to gave him one solid punch. Mexican boxers on Featherweight are very good at scoring-type games. The game will be in favor with Vargas if Magsaya don't manage to give him an early damage to slow him down.
That's the weakness of Magsayo, he is not a complete fighter, he has the power but in terms of techniques, he is still not that good. Actually, I am seeing this fight as the biggest challenge of Magsayo so far in his boxing career, and I'm afraid he will lose if he will not make an adjustment.

1645  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wrong foot on bitcointalk on: June 10, 2022, 09:37:08 PM
I became a bounty hunter after being introduced to bitcointalk by a friend who only showed me how to participate in bounty campaigns. For the bulk of my time here, I worked as a bounty hunter, merely tapping on bounty links from Telegram groups to participate in campaigns; it was all I was taught to do. After a few weeks of boredom, I decided to investigate the forum. That day, I came across a lot of intriguing subjects and posts, and I realized there's a lot to learn here, and the site isn't just about bounties.
I take it back to start a new life in this forum, hoping to get proper guide on where to start from so that I can learn and contribute to the forum too as others.
As to know that this forum is not all about earning money but also a way to gain knowledge and market discussions. It also teaches us to manage our emotions and decision making especially when we do trading.
It is a great approach in crypto not just to think about money but rather to enjoy ourselves learning some new things that haven't yet encountered. As we explore the forum, the more it excites us to stay and the more we gain knowledge that can be applied in our daily activities.
1646  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: June 10, 2022, 09:15:02 PM
Honestly OP, we need strong support that could uplift the market and increase buying demand in this way, we can see the price hike. But for now, it still missing and no strong demand has been recorded to make it possible. Likely, what could help now and really be the reason for seeing the market price spike is to wait for the next halving which is predicted to come by 2024.

It is quite a long wait for us but I think it deserves to do waiting, unless if you are tired already. Well, long-term holder could do this.
1647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: June 10, 2022, 02:05:29 PM
If United States really Ban Bitcoin mining Then it could have an effect on Bitcoin. And Bitcoin can be seen around 25K. But the price of Bitcoin does not seem to go down below 25k. Bitcoin prices will go up again.  And in the future, the price of Bitcoin will exceed $100K. Maybe we'll see that soon.
if there is a ban regarding bitcoin mining in the US, it might be really bad for the bitcoin price. but how cheap the bitcoin dump is, won't make him lose faith. trading may increase as soon as everything is considered normal.

As of this moment, I'd never see any significant impact on the market trend. That news hasn't yet gained more attention as I see that people are already immune to such issues as it was been doing to the other countries but fortunately, many of these attempts fails. So for now, I'd never see any reasons to see Bitcoin drop to $8k but what we probably see is just a the same trend we experience.

We, indeed not lose our faith, we don't let this banning issue ruins our plan and also the market. perhaps, we see a bright future of Bitcoin over the dark one.
1648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC domination meets resistance so will we have another altcoin season on: June 10, 2022, 01:46:45 PM
The Bitcoin domination is about 47% and probably it will try to climb to 49%. From 47% to 49%, I believe we will see another altcoin season. In reality it seems a new altcoin season is going but it won't stop before the end of June.

Well, it was an indication that we are pushing back high slowly. Although a 2% incline is just a small change, well, at least we are seeing the positivity of the market and a good sign for the future. However, it was too early to think about altcoins surge. Not this time, maybe when we see Bitcoin reach back to $35k, I believe altcoins have already been adapting to the new trend during that time.

But I guess, we just forget about Bullrun now, as more of the sideways movements are expected to see rather than being in the uptrend motion.
1649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 10, 2022, 01:12:15 PM
I think this will never happen worldwide , maybe there is a chance that there are many countries that will put this into Law but there will always other country that will stand supporting Bitcoin mining as they can see the potential from this than a threat .
But still we cannot predict this to happen until it comes close as the environment needs to be healed and if Mining will continue damaging this? then that is the moment that world will take this into actions.
But what I think this can be temporary only. I feel the Government will help to keep this Bitcoin mining continue to run, I really be expecting support and to find solutions in regards to environmental concerns like energy consumption. Some people just think straight that Bitcoin is a threat to the environment without seeing that there is a way to prevent it, which in fact, I don't think it was.

Well, it's up to them to decide. But what I think about this proposal couldn't get approval and possibly this will just end up discussing how to improve and lessen the environmental effect of crypto mining.
1650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate predictions? on: June 09, 2022, 11:40:47 PM
Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate forecast of Bitcoin/crypto price?

I mean If you find someone who could make you rich by accurately predicting the price of crypto for you and others to benefit from, will you support such person either by sharing part of your profits from your successful trades with him/her, or in other ways... Will you agree if you are asked to support him/her?

Well, the question is "if there is someone who could really do it"? Because what I certainly know is that nobody has been consecutively doing the closest prediction ever. Remember that the market is known for its unpredicted trend. And if to say someone does, have we ever thought that he could go in public telling people his prediction is right and always right? He/she had rather keep themselves and become rich with that. And I also think that nobody would ever believe him/her.
1651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scam increasing on social media on: June 09, 2022, 11:06:39 PM
...
The headlin though! Sometimes I wonder what is there to blame on an on an app or a medium for being just that or working in that capacity. It's more like, blaming the bitcoin or cryptocurrencies for the fraud that is done using these medium.

Ignorance and greed remains why most users fall for the various schemes on the web with the social medias serving as just some link mechanism. I think some people are just immatured enough to use the social media and are just eager to be first adopters with hopes of gaining enough without even going through any stress. It's some idea that should be perished as, it could lead to some regretful ends.
It is certainly not the apps that have to be totally blamed, it was us who are too ignorant and don't understand how the scam works. However, with the existence of these social media, it happens that scams have been growing fast. In some other ways, they are also the reason for this and their participation and no action has been taken to regulate/stop any form of scam on their platform.

But yes, it was our end to think if this is a scam or not, it was our decision.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 09, 2022, 03:24:13 PM
The Warriors are really capable on doing that and they will do that again in the next upcoming games, they have just lose in Game 1 because they slacked in the last quarter that's why the Celtics managed to win. This time around, the Warriors will defend much better even though they are more of an offensive team, they will win even if that means no rest in the whole game.

I'm just curious for Klay Thompson though, he's having a hard time playing the last 2 games.
We'll see it tomorrow and we know that this time if Warriors will be the consistent one.

Nah, they lost at TD Garden. I'm seeing that they will have a hard time again next game and they will certainly have a hard time snatching some road games. The Celtics was good in terms of adjusting and I think they could really dominate every game if they will make some good use of their sizes just like what happened earlier because the Warriors are having some trouble inside especially Green. Thompson is back though but unfortunately the others aren't in their usual performance.

It was the physicality of the Celtics that was in full display again, they are attacking the paint and less settled in the 3 point line. Warriors using a small ball wasn't effective in the 4th quarter as Celtics were in control to take the lead and dominate them. Congrats to Boston for taking the lead but this series is not over yet.

Now, it's the Celtics who are in advantage because of a good win in game 3, however, I'm seeing a different series here, looks like there's a trend like the Miami Heat series, so I think Warriors will win game 4 to even the series. It's too far from over, yes, Warriors will eventually bounce back and Curry will have a great performance.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 09, 2022, 02:58:51 PM
As expected, the Celtics will dominate the game after they've been blown out the last game. It was really evident when almost all of them will start to play seriously and make use of their sizes to have an advantage. Williams III was having a blast blocking the shots from the Warriors, he even got 4 blocks while Jaylen Brown was having his best game in the Finals.

They made a huge bounce back, although the Warriors remained strong in the 3rd quarter and were able to make the game close the Celtics again took over the 4th quarter. I am concerned about Curry's ankle, he was hurt when he dived for the ball, hopefully, he is fine as the team needs him in game 4 to even the series.
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has SEC contributed to the blockchain industry? on: June 08, 2022, 11:38:06 PM
snip~

Only thing that the SEC can do nowadays right here in the Philippines is to warn investors about the risks in investing into cryptocurrencies and publish advisory against scam companies that are mostly into pyramiding and ponzi schemes using Bitcoin and other cryptos as front like Forsage.
And what they did is right, unlike the other countries which is the one who introduce banning. However, this can't be enough to stop crypto from growing and to stop scamming in the same way. SEC has just been too vocal about scams, their campaign is very helpful to the community in spreading awareness but somehow, people have just been ignoring them. I guess they need to be more aggressive in dealing with this scam and Ponzi scheme issues otherwise, many people still become a victim of these evil activities.
1655  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounties and Airdrops on: June 08, 2022, 09:51:52 PM
2016-2017 was the prime time of bounties and airdrops, that was also the time of ICO projects. Quite to say they are more reliable that these new sets of projects like Metaverses and NFTs, plus DeFI and many others.

It was really to remember those days, it is totally different from what I have experienced this time from the bounties and airdrops as most of them are useless and added no value to the market. I'd found this as a big concern since many people had fallen into such broken promises.
1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 08, 2022, 11:59:10 AM
Thompson was not consistent so far in the Finals, however, he is still very dangerous, when he is hot, he can shoot with a good 3 point percentage so I would still continue trusting him. Remember in the last few series, he have some big games, game 5 vs Dallas and game 6 vs Memphis. He was the closer.
If Thompson is playing bad there is Pool to cover the deficiency or to lessen the burden, I dont know why people are still thinking about Klay when Pool has also a good impact on the team.
Exactly, looks like Poole is still underrated until now.

Warriors do not only have splash brothers, they also have Poole party. LOL.
These 3 are the consistent provider of offense for the Warriors, while Wiggins also have contributed some big games as well.

Remember also that GPII is back.
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 08, 2022, 11:33:27 AM
If only Casimero was not stripped of his belt, he could be a great match with Inoue.
yeah, sadly no one can really blame anyone other than him and his team for that incident. If Casimero really wants to fight Inoue I am sure he can get enough fights and wins to be considered as a challenger for Inoue. Casimero has a lot of potential to become one of the best, I just hope he won't waste it and get too discouraged by what happened to his supposed fight with Butler.

Inoue cannot get anything with Casimero right now and its like high risk low reward if he push to fight with him that's why I think this fight between them will never happen, Casimero lost his WBO which is the only ticket to have match with Inoue. The hot target with Inoue right now is Paul butler and if he win he became the undisputed champion. But let see what will happen next if Inoue would fight Butler or he will climb higher.

I don't see the fight between Inoue and Casimero happening unless the camp of Inoue agreed to it, Inoue is the champion right now so he can choose who he wants to fight, all Casimero can do now is to annoy Inoue and dare him to fight him, he could have a good chance to fight Inoue if he only did not lose his chance to fight Butler and beat him, Donaire can only hope that Inoe will give him a chance to fight him.

Inoue will not waste his time fighting Casimero, there's a champion that he can fight and that is Butler, and if he beats Butler, he can be the undisputed champion and maybe he will go up in weight after that, and he will challenge the championsi in the heavier division.
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and actions to raise it on: June 07, 2022, 10:04:29 PM
No, we can't stop the price cycle of Bitcoin, we can't make everything under the control of our hands, unless if you have all the Bitcoin perhaps it was a sort of manipulation. But I don't think we need to keep the Bitcoin price always high, we also have to put consideration that having this bear season gives us the chance to invest, and once the market went high again, our chance to sell.

It will rise and dump on its way, we'd rather let this thing happen coz we are greatly benefiting from these situations.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 07, 2022, 12:34:19 PM
I didn't expect for the fight to end too early, Inoue was just too good, his power is way more powerful than Donaire and Donaire can't fight him toe to toe. I think this is the time that Donaire will have to think of retiring from boxing, he is already a successful boxer, and his country is so proud of him.

Can we still see Inoue vs Casimero?
1660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 07, 2022, 12:04:31 PM
It's good to see it for free, by the guys, do you know a VPN that we can use for free?
I like to watch it in youtube as I believe it's faster than other streaming sites, my only problem is I don't have a VPN.

I'm using the streaming site now, still the fight has not started yet.
