bah smoothie, dont be such a bear, I'm doing no such thing, I'm just sharing some info of questionable reliability with my fellow man.  Had nary a thought even begun to cross my mind that it my effect the exchange rate.

How is this statement below not a bullish push?

Quote
plus i have it on a semi-reliable but anonymous source that there might be some huge news tomorrow that could possibly send solidcoin's value threw the roof and if you aint got none, you may want to think about heading to moonco.in and getting some.*

At this point the fact that the largest pool and exchange for solidcoins are shutdown or being wound down is a terminal bearish set of news. I highly doubt those two will change their minds and come back and support the solidcoin network.

Even DoubleC indicated he did not want to support a fork of the solidcoin client with an exchange.

No new buyers, bad news makes price go down.

I called it and people mocked me saying I was wrong in my predictions.

they are back up to 97% profitability., when the diff drops here shortly they will be over 100%, as long as people can trade they wont care about the squabbles.

Bullish statement to help push the price up. No thanks.

If this shit comes back, there will be no containing CoinHunters ego LOL  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Face it, if they come back, it'll be solely because there's an open-source fork and it may be taken seriously.

It's more likely someone is risking a couple of BTC to make some SC more valuable before unloading them.

+1 I concur

Bitcoin will soon be regulated out of existence, some of the main developers are gagging for it.

Where are you going to go when  that happens ?

Where have you gone in spite of the current catastrophes concerning solidcoin?

EDIT: Bitcoin forum?....Nah you wouldn't do that.
16985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CUT YOUR LOSSES] SOLIDCOIN on: September 05, 2011, 03:58:47 AM
I figured this thread need to be revived. I made this thread no more than 24 hours prior to the bitparking exchange/pool and sc.btcbuild.com's pool being taken down or wound down.

Price on the moonco.in exchange is currently like 0.0045 btc down from yesterday at 0.01 btc.

In another thread I also mentioned that if coinhunter kept going on the path he was on it was a path to destruction.

Sure enough...it has come to pass...
16986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin Design Contest - 2100 SOLID COIN BOUNTY! on: September 05, 2011, 03:21:20 AM
LOL so much for FlipPro reading my post carefully.

I'll take the bounty once someone makes an acceptable and winning submission.

 Cheesy

By then we'll be at difficulty 4. Smiley

Yeah that would be awesome but wait there isn't any viable exchanges to use.
16987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin Design Contest - 2100 SOLID COIN BOUNTY! on: September 05, 2011, 02:56:49 AM
BOUNTY SET SO FAR AT 2100 SC
PLEASE SEND YOUR DONATIONS TO sKbseY61RtKchh3yTacyzYiCWP1LPgCg1k

DONATORS:
Flippro - 1000SC
The Electric Monk- 50sc
Smoothie - 1050SC

I believe Smoothie was trying to donate "-1050SC" ( Negative 1050 Solid Coins. )

Which means if someone actually did a better Solidcoin design and was accepted, that designer should pay Smoothie 1050 SC for the negative bounty...

I have no interest in this, sorry.

You heard it, no solidcoin version will get an exchange from DoubleC.

Moving on...

+1. Exactly what I said in the other thread.
16990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: September 7th - 10pm GMT on: September 04, 2011, 07:08:56 PM
I prefer a totally new gui, e ven one I havent seen yet
If many agree with you I'll delay the release
The problem is that there is an exchange site that may not like the delay

How would it hurt having the gui added in a later update release?
16991  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can't access bitparking? on: September 04, 2011, 07:05:49 PM
Can't access this website https://scexchange.bitparking.com/
It says server takes too long to respond and pops up in a window;
all other bitparking sites work; expect this one.

I want to sell my solidcoins but i can't since i have no access.
How do i fix this?

DoubleC disabled the trading portion of the site. You should be able to get access to your coins still.
16992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 04, 2011, 06:55:09 PM
Smoothie, you said you made your 205 btc investing at the start, but in reality you sold much too early and made a large mistake. Your merely trying to find another chain so you can get rich quick. Eat a bag of dicks. Spend your time mining / trading and make it a real way. Just because you realized you made a mistake before and see a potential moneymaker in a new chain doesn't mean you should try to get others to fork it because you can't.

Correction. I mined early and made 32 btc. Then took that 32 btc and traded to make 205btc. Get your fucking facts straight douche!

Also if I want to make a profit, there is nothing wrong with that just as BitcoinExpress is open about.

If people are dumb enough to have their BTC taken away then so be it. I'll take it.

16994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin 1.04 Released [Hardened Edition] on: September 04, 2011, 06:47:09 PM
If the last block is #28353
Then I'm in the same boat with wallet.dat; nothing has been sent from bitparking.

client says block 29286
16995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: September 7th - 10pm GMT on: September 04, 2011, 06:39:47 PM
2. 4 minutes blocks

Why 4 minutes? Because I wanted more than the sc shit, and less than 5 minutes

To avoid the security (doublespend) problem, I found a system that we made 5 weeks to imagine, code and test
Everything finally runs ok, and 4 longer blockchains were refused by the clients so we can even say that ?coin is more safe against doublespend attacks

is your release going to be as stated?
16996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 04, 2011, 06:38:14 PM
it probably will fork though. It's not a hard thing to do, if no one else does I could probably do it.

I suspect the first person to fork it will likely get the most response from the community given what has transpired with solidcoins in the past 48 hours.

Those who spent their time mining, should be allowed to keep their coins.

It's not about pissing off coinhunter or anyone else. It's about keeping the thousands who have spent their electricity and time mining, with their coins.

Tell that to Jackjack and also you can still use your coins on the exchanges that accept them.
16997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 04, 2011, 06:36:29 PM
How do I get this client?Does it affect my mining of SC? Would I need to do anything differently to the official 1.04?
Basically, the only difference between solidcoin 1.04 and soldcoin 1.04 is that if you use soldcoin it will REALLY piss off the "dev", so no: same coins, same gui, same network, same everything
Excluding open-source license

Is that the entire goal? To piss him off?
For now yes, until there's a real demand for an opensource client

Then don't hold back in the pissing him off process and fork the chain entirely.

Why dont you do  it ? No Skills ?

Yeah I have no skills. I'm just supporting someone who chooses not to troll the users that are going to use the fork.
16998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Howto: create a failed Bitcoin fork on: September 04, 2011, 06:35:37 PM
sooner bury, xcoin will do little more convulsions before death a few day (after 20055 block).

but solidcoin devs gracefully shoot yourself in the foot.

Was the graceful part the trolling/taunting the users or the "license" terms he put into his latest release?

lol
16999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] New Solidcoin Client Fully Open-Source! on: September 04, 2011, 06:33:11 PM
Thing with continueing is that the blockchain (at least with the "official" client) is something over 2.5GB.  Bit much IMO.
Maybe the new client can trim that down, I don't really know how it works to be honest (Hey I should start my own fork!  I know enough right? Cheesy).

Plus, if we continue with the solidcoin blockchain we have to keep listening to CoinHunter and his baby lives.

EDIT:
Crap, I agree with Smoothie.

Good point. I dont want to have to hear his crying.
