17041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FAQ] RUXUM SOLIDCOIN TRADING....GONE! on: September 03, 2011, 11:28:14 PM
Can't wait to see what dear leader will break this time and how the apologists are going to explain it away again. Roll Eyes

I've got my popcorn handy for this.

I suspect the fact that it is taking this long to release the update says either he can't find a solution that will accomplish deterring spammers and allow people to transfer large amounts of solidcoins on the same update OR he found a solution but is actually testing it as it should be tested.

Coinhunter should have seriously stuck to facts and development and stopped with the trash talking while he was ahead. Now this is what happens.
17042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FAQ] RUXUM SOLIDCOIN TRADING....GONE! on: September 03, 2011, 11:23:53 PM
Deliberately hurting the private investments of thousands is not illegal?
LOL. By that logic everyone who sells their coins and causes the price to drop is doing so illegally.

+1 lol
Smoothie you are like a circus clown. I have no respect for you.

And I care about you having no respect for me because why? LOL

"You can't do that it's illegal to exploit a bug in an open-source piece of software. Deliberately hurting the private investments of thousands is not illegal?"

What you gonna do to ArtForz put him in solidcoin prison? BWAHAHAHAHA

LOL
It's a bug in the Bitcoin client that you choose to sweep under the rug.

But it doesn't matter, the spamming stopped with 1.03. We are now moving forward, and anticipating the release of 1.04 which should be out tomorrow. As of right now I advise anyone to take advantage of the ultra low difficulty that just dropped!

http://solidcoin.kicks-ass.org/graphs/graphs.html

Should be interesting to see what his fix is to the cap on the size of a transaction and how to deter from spammers.

Yes, though I would like to have more local moderators of various sections. If you have a good post history and you'd like to moderate a single section, PM me.

"Alternate cryptocurrencies" has no Moderator, right ?
Some people are playing "Forumwars" in there. Fun Game, but wrong Place for that.

Yeah and you partaking in the wars is going to get you a moderator position?

That is laughable. Cheesy
17044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I0 Guild - I0Coin Pool from BTC Guild on: September 03, 2011, 09:28:19 PM
If you get a chance, it would be great to have a ixcoin.btcguild.com pool too in the future.

Hope all goes well in T-2!

LOL guess ixcoin isnt worth his time. Cheesy
17045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] SolidCoin - new and improved block chain. Secure from pools on: September 03, 2011, 10:02:10 AM
What will likely follow is a crash of solidcoins once again. BOOOM!

Yes, that's a feature not a bug. The network was meant to be unstable hence the crazy difficulty adjustment code. It's a get rich quick scheme.

LOL speculation is a byproduct not a feature. But anyway since there is some issues with the latest update and bitparking has a disable on moving solidcoins, I still say having these issues with the solidcoin network is reason enough for the market to tank.

As did i0coins, so too will solidcoins.

Get ready for the crash of solidcoins as bitcoin lives on!

lol
17046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinotron - Automated switching to the most profitable currency on: September 03, 2011, 09:58:21 AM
i0c is the most profitable right now. Difficulty retargets pretty quick with that coin for some reason.

Yea its changed since I posted. I think using the AUTO feature it can take a little while to update too.

LOL Oldminer mines on coinotron?

Was that your 0.02 GH/s mining ixcoins earlier? Then when I brought it to your attention it magically disappeared?

Why stop? Mining at a loss on ixcoins is THE BEST IDEA EVER!

 Cheesy
17047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] SolidCoin - new and improved block chain. Secure from pools on: September 03, 2011, 09:57:03 AM
There is a new issue that prevents the bitparking exchange from opening. The new limits stop some transfers from occurring and exchanges hit these pretty easily when withdrawals are made.

Wow. So does that mean that the update was basically a bandaid?

The new update was a rushed and poorly thought though change that broke just as much as it fixed.

You know the right way to fix this? Copy the transaction code from BitCoin. They got it right first time and it's been proven stable.

17049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Startup is making a 10 second/block fork. Possible or not? on: September 03, 2011, 09:43:53 AM
10 second blocks will be mayhem.

Yeah, due to network conditions 10s won't be enough and you'll get forks of serious length creating very often. But who says you need to know what you're doing to try something? Smiley

hey, Coinhunter said something that actually makes sense!

wait... isn't it exactly what was said about Solidcoin's 3 minutes confirmations ?
it looks like he knows how to recycle arguments :-)

Friggen hilarious. Hmm now I wonder where all those BTC are going to go or did they ever make it to RUXUM for solidcoin trading?

Based on this link they make it sound like something is broken in solidcoin which disables them from wanting to use it until further notice.

http://help.ruxum.com/customer/portal/articles/147455-solidcoin-faq

Wow what a dumbfuck you are. If you bothered to actually read the forums instead of defecating your spam everywhere you might find the reason why they did this...

Hint (for the mentally challenged): the explanation is in the thread above this one  Wink

Yeah I guess my reading their own official FAQ page is not good info right?

Looks like oldminer is so pissed off with me he will defend any *coin that I come against.
17051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FAQ] RUXUM SOLIDCOIN TRADING....GONE! on: September 03, 2011, 09:29:27 AM
perhaps they realized that the solidcoin propaganda could hurt their image ?

smoothie, you are starting to embarrass yourself.  Please just shut up before it is too late. Smiley
One more thing, Smoothie, because money means everything to you, I just like to point out that your earnings trading coin are mediocre at best. Smiley Please, keep the day job making milkshakes and pealing bananas. Only real losers brag how much money they made (and usually this gain is imaginary)

Solidcoin dude(s), please get yourself a better spoke person and keep this delusional programmer guy away from the public. Let him program, hes is probably good at it.
If he starts telling you, he is the best in the world and starts admiring hes reflection in the monitor, let him go and find another one.
Last thing you need is shitty PR. Honestly, your product is good. Do not let it get fucked up buy your own teams bloated egos.

Less yapping, more coding (BTC team, this for you too)!  Keep up the good work!

PS! Solidcoin dude(s), if you are just a one guy with a multiple personality disorder, please get better meds and keep the good You around. Dump the rest, thy shit where they eat.

Wow I did not realize I could get FREE counseling from a retarded eskimo on this forum. LOL

Yeah I suppose making 427 BTC in 3 weeks is mediocre when cashing them out at $10 roughly that's $4270 for what 20 hours of work? LOL.

Don't quit your ice-fishing job to be a counselor, you're not very effective at it. BWAHAHAHA! lol

Dude, use a degree.

Then you can make that every 20 hours for a lifetime.

It's called being rich.

Oh thanks your the advice. What are you netting right now while living in your parents' home?
17054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need a standard wallet, that can handle all the coins. on: September 03, 2011, 09:02:15 AM

Yeah, with several currencies, everything is getting more and more error-prone.

What we need is 3 more new currencies  Grin

With three more troll-ish founders for me to troll. LOL Cheesy

17056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin 1.03 Released - Update immediately on: September 03, 2011, 07:35:27 AM
Yes, it's not really an attack just an annoyance done by those who are fearful of what SolidCoin represents. The new version (1.04) is going to blow away Bitcoin though as it has more features, will be faster and new developer stuff! Good times ahead.

Why doesn't BitCoin have mandatory updates like these? Even the really old clients still work.

Oh yes, their development goes: plan -> code -> test -> release.

Yours goes: hack code you don't fully understand -> release -> find bugs you should have noticed before releasing -> force mandatory update.

It's just a matter of time until someone finds a really nasty bug in one of the hacks you have made and uses it to either crash or rob the entire SolidCoin network.

I think i need some popcorn for this show. =)

smoothie??  He criticized forks and then supported them in his signature.

When did I criticize namecoin? LOL evidence?
17059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just made a new currency. To get us rich by mining!~~NO!!~~Proper currency making on: September 03, 2011, 04:31:18 AM
Vladimir, that's why I made this thread.  People create forks without serious investments in how to create an improvement to bitcoin.  We really need to spend a year at least working on making an improved bitcoin and then it is crucial that the founders set aside a bunch of coins so if bitcoins crash because their new currency replaces it, they can give them the new kind of coins in exchange for bitconis.  Without this later thing, you devalue bitcoins and thus ruin your new currency.

smoothie, ironic that you criticize forks when you give a namecoin address for donations.

Is it illegal to accept donations?
17060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Restart your Ixcoin client on: September 03, 2011, 01:24:24 AM
What would be _PERFECT_ is if ixcoin's original block speed target was at least mostly met for a while. Then (especially uninformed) people would never upgrade. And many ixcoin.2 people would switch back. Then throw as much has as we absolutely can get (Hey, Artforz, want in?) for a couple weeks... get difficulty _WAY_ up, then all abandon simultaneously one block after a difficulty adjustment.

The two block chains would be nearly impossible to reconcile because Thomas made them two different p2p networks and protocol versions. And ixcoin.2 would be mostly abandoned and ixcoin.1 would be retargeting in 2150. Smiley

The old .1 blockchain is useless, wasted resources if you hash on it. You can't stop the new chain to reach block 20055, then the new retargeting gets active. It all depends on the new chain, if exchanges and pools are switching... Mining on the orphan chain won't have any effect on the new one. The people who support the new chain will switch, and this new support will define the value of the new chain...

What defines the value of the chain is the people who mine on it and use it to transact in. Otherwise it is rubbish.
