1721  Economy / Services / Re: Hilarious Designs [ Signatures, Banners, Logos, Thread Designs, Avatars] FREE !! on: October 24, 2015, 06:04:23 PM
Since it's free, I will give you a test out lol.

I would like a banner for my website (BTCVisit) in 468x60.
The website is a Bitcoin PTC, offers up to 300 satoshi per click, has a 20% referral bonus and pays out instantly to Paytoshi or FaucetBox. Please incorporate those things into a banner with the colour scheme and font of the site.
Other than that, I have no specific preferences or requirements, do whatever you like with it!

even if you qualify i dont see any open slot for Sr. Member , have a look at the spreadsheet.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ditoBC2WvrhaitSxxsFyoP1p_KxSjKN9N2nrPK1xmVU/edit#gid=135454700
Which is why he asked to be told when a spot is open, similar to how I did.
@wangxinxi Can you please PM me if a Sr. spot opens up?
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Programme that lets you insert Adress and price and puts out QR code on: October 24, 2015, 02:31:52 PM
AFAIK Multibit can do this, though it may just make the address' QR code.

If you want to just create an image, I'm fairly sure you can just use any QR code generator with the URL bitcoin:ADDRESS?amount=AMOUNT.
1724  Other / Meta / Re: How to get Positive Trust ? on: October 24, 2015, 02:16:23 PM
Honestly, having high trust isn't really that big of a deal unless you trade a lot. The only thing that having my trust allows me to do is ask the other party to send first whenever completing a deal.
If you're actively leaving people negatives (like Vod, xetsr etc), being on DT (Default Trust) and having a high number is probably more trouble than it's worth.
1725  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: October 24, 2015, 01:16:29 PM
Hi Kazuldur, How to make a fuacet website mobile friendly, So that no ads will be hidden in another ads. When I create a faucet using your script, at that time fuacet look better on my pc but when I open it on my smart phone, then it was not look like that which I aspected like on pc. Sad
If you want a mobile friendly website then you will have to change your template files to be mobile friendly. There are lots of tutorials on this online, try looking those up.
1726  Other / Meta / Re: bitcoin-forums.net ? is it a replica of BCT . on: October 23, 2015, 12:56:08 PM
I sort of knew that would have been the case but how could it have all the data of BCT ?
and also all accounts info too ?
They could be just scraping the source code from this site then editing the login form to somewhere that they could control it. This is of course speculation, but I wouldn't trust the site for anything more than read-only purposes.
1727  Other / Off-topic / Re: Whos got the Baddest Avatar ? on: October 23, 2015, 12:42:31 PM
I dont know. Can anyone tell me how can I get Avatar here?
You must first become a Full Member before you can add an avatar. You can see the activity levels for each rank here.

My avatar is something that I made a few years ago, I pretty much use it on all of my accounts on the internet. I can't say I have any intention to change it.
1728  Economy / Services / Re: build a free faucet website on: October 23, 2015, 12:36:16 PM
I don't think that faucets are against AdSense TOS..  Roll Eyes
I think it's a risky area as it depends how Google interprets your site.
In the Adsense Tos it is said that sites which "pay you to complete an action, as long as the action does not involve clicking on ads or artificially inflating ad impressions" are acceptable, however faucets could easily be misinterpreted I expect.
If your account were to get suspended you could likely appeal it, however it would still be an inconvenience.

if you cant handle this, there is no way you can be a site admin, im sorry to tell you.
This exactly. If you're not prepared to learn how to put files into an FTP you are definitely not prepared for the measures needed to stop bots or perform maintenance on your faucets.
1729  Other / Meta / Re: bitcoin-forums.net ? is it a replica of BCT . on: October 23, 2015, 12:30:49 PM
It has been suggested that this site is simply to avoid censorship in certain countries when this site has been brought up previously, however it could be a phishing site. Either way, I would highly suggest not logging in or posting from there as your login details could easily be intercepted and your account stolen if their motive is malicious.
1730  Other / Meta / Re: The Definition of a Low Quality Post on: October 23, 2015, 12:18:48 PM
Here's a comparable example. How would you define an artwork that is good? Obviously you can't really make a general rule but you'd have to go on a case by case basis.
I can see your point, but in the cases that I'm trying to point out is like comparing a stickman drawn in MSPaint with a watercolour piece on a canvas. One is obviously significantly lower quality than the other.

That's my opinion and I doubt that anything would be done about this, due to the lesser importance of it. I'm pretty sure that most users are aware when they make a post of very low quality.
That makes sense, thanks for clarifying. This is simply due to seeing staff such as hilariousandco talk about the sheer amount of spam pots, and wondered which type I should be trying to report and which to leave.

I was just making a statement because this is what I tend to see from time to time. It wasn't really directed towards you (that part).
I didn't think it was, just being sure though. My apologies Smiley
1731  Other / Meta / Re: The Definition of a Low Quality Post on: October 23, 2015, 11:58:47 AM
However, you can not define a low quality post and thus this thread is obsolete. This is all subjective. One moderator might not delete your post while the other one might.
I don't think this should be the case. The rules and guidelines for a post should be defined to stop confusion throughout members and help keep the forum cleaner.
For example, let's say that one of the nicer moderators leaves a post which is something along the lines of "Thanks for the guide!" or something similar. Personally I think that this post is spam and does nothing but clutter the forum, however it is likely that said post will stay until it is reported again as another moderator will not evaluate it. If the nicer moderator leaves several posts like this, it can quickly clutter the forum. In addition the reporter's percentage will likely go down, but that isn't the main problem.
It seems that the (granted, small selection) of the community seem to have come to a standpoint on the posts that they do not wish to see, and yet I still see a lot of long yet vague posts cluttering up threads in sections like Micro Earnings and others, created for nothing but the signature reward. Should this still be happening?

I never understood why people complain about only a few of their posts being deleted.
AFAIK neither of those posts have been deleted, nor would I complain if the one that I posted was. I'm just curious on which sorts of posts to report and which to leave, and what the staff consider a low quality post.

Also, not trying to bash the staff in any way.
1732  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] [HIGHEST PAY] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: October 22, 2015, 11:55:57 PM
Hi guys, please give me positive trusts. I will appreciate.
Don't do this, it is not looked upon well in this community.
1733  Other / Meta / The Definition of a Low Quality Post on: October 22, 2015, 08:26:50 PM
Alright, I believe that this is something that needs to be addressed. It seems that the norm of a low quality post is something that is short, usually in Off Topic or somewhere similar. However, there are several posts which I see to be low quality/unsubstantial and I am wondering if it is just me being overly picky.

Here's a few examples of posts which I question:
Thank you.

But if I change the referral reward to a different value. Will the referrers receive the old value (value valid on the first referral moment) or will they receive the update value?
They will receive the updated value AFAIK.
Let's start with a post from myself. This post is very short and is in a section which is spam ridden (Micro Earnings). This makes it fit in the definition I posted earlier. However, since I am helping someone with a problem they are having, is it still counted as low quality or with no substance? I am part of a signature campaign, would these sort of posts have me 'abusing' the system, even if they were not added to my overall paid posts for the period?

Another example, a different type of post:
am not a faucet owner but i can still understand how mucch it is difficult for faucet owners to keep the faucet safe and alive .......thanks to the faucet defense script posted above that makes it hard for scammers to go on with their evil works...... Smiley
This post is longer, which is obvious. It is in the same section as the previous post, however this one is significantly worse in my (may be it, slightly biased) opinion. This post achieves absolutely nothing in helping anyone or adding to the topic in any way. In my opinion, this longer post is much worse than the short post I quoted earlier. This user is also in a signature campaign, and is obviously just posting for the reward. However, I have been guilty of doing this in the past.

So, what is considered a low quality post? I see a lot of shorter posts removed, however longer posts like this tend to stay and clutter up the thread. Are they still reportable or am I simply overstepping the mark?

We can block all this amount of proxies domains?

Could be of any use?

http://techwelkin.com/free-proxy-sites-best-proxy-servers-access-blocked-websites
That's a nice idea, though those sort of proxies aren't the type that the majority of botters use. The proxies that botters use simply mask your IP; not linking it with a domain.
1736  Economy / Services / Re: build a free faucet website on: October 22, 2015, 05:07:35 PM
What are the best advertising platforms you can use with your faucet?
Almost every faucet uses Google Adsense as it gives the most funds, however it is risky as faucets are against the Adsense ToS AFAIK.
If you want Bitcoin networks, A-Ads, BitMedia and MellowAds may be the best to begin with. I would recommend AdBit.co or Bee-Ads, however people have been complaining of missed deposits and such in the threads for these services.

snip

Use a free service like Black Box Proxy Block to check if an IP address is associated with an open proxy server.

Black Box Proxy Block: http://www.shroomery.org/ythan/proxyblock.php

-------------------------------

Guys, check this: https://www.blocked.com/index.php
There is a service created by the company behind FaucetBox (http://www.nastyhosts.com) which does something similar though perhaps with better accuracy. NastyHosts checks hostnames in addition proxies and TOR, and also reports suspicious IP addresses through it's implementation in the FaucetInABox script[1].

1738  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Paytoshi - Microtransaction Wallet + Faucet API & Script on: October 22, 2015, 04:07:54 PM
At this moment ReCaptcha is the state of the art in terms of preventing automated access (bot). Blocking IPs, on the contrary is a very poor and circumventable solution for this kind of problem.
ReCaptcha is very good at stopping bots, yes, though it is very easy for a human to complete. Therefore, botters can just send the captcha to a solving service powered by humans to get the job done. So far, FunCaptcha and AreYouAHuman has proven to be some of the best for stopping this technique due to how the captcha works. Perhaps those would be worth it to implement for anti-bot measures.

Also, you're right, blocking IPs is a fairly poor way of stopping bots and abusers from going to your faucet. What has been found is blocking hostnames works significantly better (As there has been a trend of botters using VPSs such as AWS and such). Blocking these and services such as TOR would definitely be good to implement in the next build, if possible.
1739  Economy / Services / Re: build a free faucet website on: October 22, 2015, 12:22:38 PM
thankyou for help me. are you have ever create faucet website? what hosting are you use? i need free one.
Free hosting isn't the best to use for faucets as the traffic can overload the website and free hosts usually don't have many features.
If you have $10 spare you can get a year of unlimited hosting on Namecheap, so you might be best starting there. If you go to the link under my avatar I've made a list of a lot of things used for making a faucet, perhaps that can help.
1740  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk forums are full of scammers, spammers and tricksters on: October 22, 2015, 12:18:26 PM
WordPress has a plugin, bbPress which enabled a threaded based forum which in my experience is better than what SMF has to offer...
I really doubt that Wordpress can offer a better and more secure forum software which is being used now. Besides, the new forum software will be coming eventually. That can probably help whatever you're complaining about.

Also, as for the scammers and such, use your brain while trading and you likely won't run into any issues. Trusting anyone on a big trade without escrow is asking for trouble, whether negative or positive trust.

You've spend a lot of time with 4 days logged in?
603 days reporting in. Top guy is still 1200+ though.
Only just hit 40 the other day myself, I'm no where near any of you lol.
