1721  Other / Meta / Re: Please help me understand about "Trust" and how it works on this Forum. on: May 06, 2015, 08:23:38 AM
I still don't understand how trust works. I've been reading related threads and only have the vaguest idea- is it a sort of up vote/down vote thing related to doing deals between members?
Can someone point me to a comprehensive explainer of the whole trust system if such a page exists?

As you can see anyone can give (Positive, Negative or Neutral) Trust to anyone, anywhere and whenever you want AND how many times you want aswell. Its pretty much like a review you can make of an user even if you didnt have any deals with him. Now if you dont have positive trust yourself from other trusted members your Votes would be shown as ''Untrusted feedback'' and you would not see the red thing under the trust. If you are a trusted member and you vote negativly someone, their trust would appear red. All these votes are made by users and you should read all of them to understand if they are real or (a good amount of times) rage votes because that user gave them a negative trust vote or things like that.

If you like minecraft you can earn some bitcoin with playing it.

2 servers for doing that:
Minecraftcc.com
Earn per broken and placed block. Some satoshi per block depending on the type. Max payout of 0.01 btc per week to your normal wallet.

Bitquest.co
Earn 1 bit per emerald. Emeralds are not just in the ground like normal, but can also be obtained by killing monsters and trading to players.

Both servers are mostly vanilla with minor adjustments.

I added the: Play games for bitcoins. Section, thank you for the idea, i didnt remember to add it at first because i dont know many games that pay in bitcoins but i know there are some.

There is a strategy game of some sort that pays in bitcoins but i dont remember the name, if someone knows i would add it.

Hey OP, you did a great work as many newbies ask the same questions again and again...
I suggest you consider trying faucet rotators too, there are many claiming to earn you up to BTC0.005 per day...

Well yeah, i know about the rotators, some even claim you can make 0.001/hour but ive tried them and you dont make more than 20-30k per hour if you are lucky you might make 0.001 once and unless you spend the whole day on faucets you wont make that much money.

Pd: i will update op with the new sites

Check the link below, this guy claims we can make up to BTC0.008 per day with more than 500 faucets in his rotator...
It seems a bit legit to me, don't know much though...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1045998

But he says his faucet makes 50k per hour, it would take you 16 hours to earn 0.008 and of course you could earn 0.01 bitcoins even if you spend your whole day on it but as i said faucets are good for starters and newbies but nothing more

It so happened that a couple of months ago, blocked my account busminer, admit that he was guilty and strong HYIP carried away ... I promise no longer any HYIP and referral links and other violations of the rules of the conference, this account as very dear to me and I hope I will be able to get it back, really I hope your indulgence and understanding.

ps

I wrote several times to banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com
If you were banned for anything to do with HYIP spam then I vote you go away forever. HYIP spam/scams have been plaguing the forum for a long time now and has made it overall worse.

This, I agree with you but as long the HYIP /ponzi scheme will not be against the forum rules I do not think they will stop.

You mean that you got banned for running a HYIP ? Because it is not against the rules, there is even a special section for it. I do not like it or recommend it but it is not against the rules as far as i know.

I do not think he was banned because he was running an HYIP or ponzi scheme, most probable he was banned due the spam that he has generated here in the forum.

Spam in what way because as i said before and reported before there was one user spamming his own thread with posts every hour having like 15 posts only from him and he never got banned.

Edit: now that i think about it im not sure if he got banned, there should be a message to show you if someone who you reported got banned
1726  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: eBitInvest -Ultimate Investment Solutions for Bitcoin- http://www.ebitinvest.com on: May 05, 2015, 05:49:31 PM
I started reading and stopped inmeaditly when i read "NO RISK" wich made me believe that this "investment" site like many others is nothing more than a ponzi or probably a direct scam. Move to the investor based games
1727  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] What would get you to play NastyKeno? on: May 05, 2015, 12:04:28 PM
The promotions are always good but i dont understand how can you have better odds? In the better odds option, i mean how can you raise the odds?
1728  Other / Meta / Re: Are members of sig ad campaigns only banned or other members as well are banned? on: May 05, 2015, 11:54:47 AM
everyone can be banned if they are spamming, moderator bans spammers not signature campaign users, if a user spam without any signature campaign then he will also get banned.mostly user with signature ads is banned because they do more spamming to increase their post counts

I dont know about that, a while ago there were no sig campaigns and i remember with an old account of mine that many of my posts were deleted by mods like 10 posts in a week and i was never banned, ive never heard about anyone getting banned in that time either

I have recently noticed that mostly trolls get banned or those who use alt accounts to spam the forum. I have not noticed members who spam with just one account getting banned. It may be because their posts aren't reported or their off topic posts are ignored. Posts like "+1" or "one word replies" are deleted and non signature members probably don't get banned for this reason if they don't have similar posts.

Well i havent seen anyone posting +1 or one word replies honestly i dont think anyone does that, definitely not the sig campaign participants, most of them that get banned and come here and you look at their history, their posts are long sometimes but just senseless

1730  Other / Meta / Re: people "buying" trust without you noticing? on: May 05, 2015, 05:57:24 AM
Well you can leave someone a positive trust feedback as long as you deem the user as a trustworthy one or you completed a trade with him/her. Loans aren't different. Also, why do you care on how those loans were used? It should be none of your business after all. But I partly agree that somehow, the trust rating is being abused.

Well most of the times banks do the same, they ask you what are you going to do with the money. You should care because if he is using the loans to gamble, that doesnt guarantee its gonna pay in the future
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao - Who are you taking? on: May 05, 2015, 05:45:44 AM
And people paid up to 100k for this event, all mayweather did was run from pacquiao, pacquiao should have won or at least make a re-combat because this one was shitty
1732  Other / Meta / Re: people "buying" trust without you noticing? on: April 30, 2015, 09:51:53 AM
Leaving positive trust is not bad, whats bad is that people may not look at the ratings or what they mean exactly and they would blindly trust someone that for example gives loans wich require no trust at all since he would probably ask for collateral so he is not risking anything
1733  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bittrex phishing warning on: April 29, 2015, 11:26:34 AM
How is that possible ?? As far as im seeing it has the same name www.bittrex.com or am i blind? I didnt know it was possible to fake that thing
1734  Other / Meta / Re: Vod making false accusations about me | Providing proof for Mod or admin on: April 29, 2015, 07:51:24 AM
OP, do you have a valid MSDN membership in your name or not?

Yes it is in my name.

The other question I asked on your thread, which is whether you are claiming that the purchaser gets a valid license to the product. If you don't claim that, then at least you are being honest about what you are selling. You're likely breaking your MSDN agreement, and that's not quite upstanding, but its not as bad as doing that and misrepresenting to the buyers what they are buying.

Now we have someone who actually have real questions.

They will be obtaining a valid license of the product. I have always provided my customers with all answers they needed

Well, let's just see if you can provide the admin with a valid receipt showing your valid purchase of the MSDN license.

Because otherwise, like all the other scammers, you are stealing from corporate licenses that do not belong to you.  Smiley

I will wait.

lol again you cant read. I am just going to ignore your comments. You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

That doesnt seem like a good argument to me and only makes you look like a scammer honestly, ive been following this threads and they all end up being the same, the OP doesnt provide any kind of proof, evidence or whatever to prove he is legit. And for the record, just because your clients are satisfied doesnt mean anything, i could go and buy a stolen tv for 10$ and i would be satisfied, of course i would.
1735  Other / Meta / Re: people "buying" trust without you noticing? on: April 29, 2015, 07:48:05 AM
I like to check the lending section on this forum because is quite funny and sometimes i notice a guy who has some trust and is looking for loan without collateral, most of the time he gets it because he has good trust but then you check his trust and its all from previous loans. What has this guy been doing with all these loans? Like i saw a guy with literally more than 15 feedbacks from loans. Does he really need those loans or is he "buying trust" because it just seems weird. Other thing is that most people that do that look for really small loans

The same logic can be used for trades as well, not just loans. You can never be sure whether a person has done a trade just for trust, or is really interested in the trade.  Smiley
Which is why everyone should actually click the reference and decide for themselves whether the trade holds any value in trust. I never trust loans as valid trust, but I look at things with how much money they COULD have stolen, like holding 10 btc in there website or something.

Indeed, and i think no one should trust people who give loans because they lose nothing if they require collateral, and i know a lot of people with a lot of trust points just because they give loans wich is stupid. I would consider a loan or a trade to be a positive trust point if it is big enough.
1736  Other / Meta / Re: Main account banned, why?! on: April 28, 2015, 08:56:08 PM
I dont think moderators ban you for short posts if they are not needed to be bigger like when you post a bid on the auction section, or your address in the games and rounds and stuff like that, im pretty sure they dont, if they do they shouldnt
1737  Other / Meta / Re: people "buying" trust without you noticing? on: April 28, 2015, 07:52:42 PM
I think it depends because here is the thing, if an user gives a collateral for a loan and he repays it that doesnt mean he is trustworthy it means he didnt want to lose the collateral. And also as i said before giving loans without collateral is stupid for this reasons
1738  Other / Meta / Re: people "buying" trust without you noticing? on: April 28, 2015, 12:12:10 PM
Same thing they do on BTCJam they call it "reputation building loans". I guess it is an easy way to build trust rather than via selling or escrowing etc... I noticed that when I was doing loans the people I lent were very concerned about me leaving feedback for them.  Building a reputation here is not really an easy task, but most people really do not need one unless they trade here. I do understand why people want lots of green next to their name though as it does provide some benefits.

Yes im pretty sure there is people here that do that, get loans or give loans for the sole purpose of building trust, i mean you could ask for loans of 0.01 and repay them with a interest of 50% even and you would basically be buying trust for 0.005 btc
1739  Economy / Marketplace / Re: People lending no collateral? on: April 28, 2015, 05:39:10 AM
No Collateral loan are given to user who are trusted, reputed and trust is a collateral for such loan, giving a no collateral loan to newbie or low profile member is risky, it is always suggested to use collateral so if user didn't pay you can cover your loss, you can give loans without collateral if you can afford money to loose

There is a really small quantity of people that are really trusted and there are others that are trusted because they have done previous loans wich doesnt mean anything, just because they have given or taken loans doesnt mean they are trusted
