link from Drudge:
https://metro.co.uk/2021/08/03/people-recovering-from-covid-may-have-substantial-drop-in-intelligence-15030236/

Anecdotally, at least two recovered people who were hospitalized with covid told me that they are in a mental fog several months after release with memory being significantly affected.
This sucks.

This is absolutely my story.
Brain fog took several years to clear up. My working memory and attention/ability to focus are still impaired about 10 years after (insert unknown virus here) infection (not SARS-CoV-2).

^ How revealing  Cheesy

(EDIT: by the way:)
I blame this "correction" (EDIT: BTC not going up daily) on the "infrastructure bill"-noise that is just being generated in the US.
Yellen is not really competent, so she should not refuse to educate herself about bitcoin instead of being influenced by nocoiner shitheads.
knowledge is power.

As i fly over the last WO pages:

Dear bitcoin minimalists please use this ramp

As the aged skater, i'd quickly shred down this ramp instead of trying to jump the stairs or slide the handrail and probably break some bones  Grin

W T F is this…
Strange kind Sunday sorcery!
Pump’s the other way.

Seems to turn around
Some peeps are not done selling
No problem, we'll wait

A matter of time
We won't see these dumps for long
Bulls still in command
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 31, 2021, 07:35:32 PM
Now that we've proven Godwin's law....in real news, bitcoin's looking as bullish as a bovine with two dicks.

Yeah, I’m not vaccinated, I have huge doubts about the severity of covid & what the real agenda might be but FFS, can we leave that shit out of the WO.

So about bitcoin, $45,000 next week, maybe?

I'll wait a few more hours if the latest pump doesn't form another bart, but if not, i guess YES  Smiley

W0w, 5 years for Accessory to Murder, must be nice to be a cop.

Only when you got no remorse.

@BitcoinMagazine
Very true 😅

In fiat value, i have 88 times more Bitcoin than money. At the end of the month it is more like 888 times, though.  Grin

Might be 8 and 88 as well, OpSec obfuscation measures.

So $40k is the new $60k?
What's dumber than being a bear in an early bull market?  Roll Eyes
1790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 26, 2021, 08:13:44 AM
Just calculated back and forth, considering near future bills, and settled to lump sum a few hundred $ into the resuming bullrun.
A little late, but still  Smiley

Just woke up for a pee, 04:41, check the price…….

She’s alive  Cool

Set alarm 04.41, piss more often.

Told you so  Grin After July 21st the chinese dumping will be over.
Unfortunately, my hongkong friend told me that the telegram whale group he was in got deleted, which was kind of foreseeable, imho.
So thanks Xi, for liberating the market of chinese manipulators and mining centralization  Cool
1792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 22, 2021, 07:51:59 PM
Ey Bob, good to hear read some positive news from you  Cool
Once you're at the bottom it can only go up  Grin

BTC (barely) broke out of the downward channel today, although there's some resistance to break, maybe we gonna retest some higher support levels before up moar.
Happy how things are working out at the time.
1793  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 22, 2021, 05:24:18 PM
Chinese whales finally exited the market.
No more group selling from them, they were reaching their coordinated sell target ($30k) and now we can resume a healthy uptrend.

Sorry for all weak hands out there, fuck you over-leveraged "traders" and greetings to all bitcoin hodlers who didn't mindrust the dip.
Off to work again.

Willy Woo
@woonomic
People often think the market is buying or selling. In truth every buyer has a seller. Price moves up or down according to who is patient and who is urgent.

Urgent sellers push price down, urgent buyers push price up.

Willy Woo
@woonomic
A tentative thesis I have for the current price regime is that China is an urgent seller, while the West are patient buyers.

See Binance inflows (mainly from Asia), especially over the China FUD of banning BTC.

On point, imo.
That's why i expect the price to go down until china's bitcoin ban is in full effect, which should be 2 days from now, afaik.
If the electrician happens to present me the bill for his work and material, i will be able to know how much fiat will be left to buy bitcoin at the bottom.
Done a lot work with the house extension lately, painting, installing doors, almost no time left to read WO (you know, i need sleep too  Grin )

Cool red wine

Pasta truffel

Saturdays

Cheers

I admit thinking of you while listening to the (bad) news about Belgium.
But apparently you are enjoying life with Italian primitivo! (Tasted that bottle. I liked that!)
Well done!

Nothing to crazy, but perfect to drink cold imho

Me=the other side of Belgium

I hope those peeps get well fast

Briefly visited Belgium last week... so what is the bad news about it?  Cool

I guess it's about Verviers.

Bitcoin bouced at exactly my triangle line setup.
It shows a very defined downward channel, tipping towards the first two weeks of august.
IIRC that's the month when the fun started in 2017?
1798  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 14, 2021, 09:02:01 AM
We’ve all been through times like this in bitcoin many times, doesn’t make it any better though. I think deep down I know we’ll still make new ATH’s in 2021. I’m such a pessimist though, price action sucks atm.

I miss muh green dildos & memes.

You're just preparing yourself to get excited  Grin
How can one experience fun when he never learned to cry. (My stupid simplification of a chinese proverb)

Unpopular opinion: Troubled waters until 21st of July. I'll hodl my coins and save some fiat until then  Cool

I'm in LFC's boat. Pretty sure we are feeling the exact same feelings with the price action the last few months and all I can say is it sucks.

Of course long-term we both know where this is going, but, as they say "waiting is the hardest part".

Yeah, i've been through this in 2018 and 2019 after i made a move and used some of my fiat savings to buy additional bitcoin at $15k. It was a smaller fraction of my satstack, but the most expensive one until 2020, also (EDIT: one of) the biggest one-time amount spent buying corn.
Until mindrust's exit, i had plenty of time to learn to manage my feelings when price goes down.
But this time it's different, we're in a bull market (at least we should be), price goes south, FUD and government terror rose to an unseen amount yet. WSB mentality of making overleveraged-all-in trades adds to the problem. I still (try) to see the price action as a correction. I'm not immune to doubts, you know, but i ditched panic and i don't need most of the money i bought bitcoin with.

Spoiler: I bought it for the future of my kids/family.

But that's just me. I would never say things like "poor loser, don't whine around, hodl!" to any WOer experience negative feelings in regard to price action.

We're all in agreement that this is about to get ugly, right?

Looks like it.

Got a feeling we’re cooked for another 3/4 years. No heartbeat at all.

Sad

I hope I’m wrong & we bounce, this is really getting me down. Not selling though!

Why would you?
If you need the money, to build a farm or whatever, OK.

These IRS "news" are ... interesting.
When conflicting with any kind of state authority, it's ALWAYS best to say nothing and let the lawyer(s) fight the case.

EDIT: Anyone else heard of that 51% attack on BSV network yet? Faketoshi and Childfuxxer getting what they deserve, finally?
