1821  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [IPO] CoinPal - Crypto-Currency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool {NEW} on: June 16, 2014, 02:29:18 AM
in this thread he was trying to sell stuff and he was missing for couple days and refund the people on start of 5th april

now ask yourself were he got those funds from? From our IPO that started 21th march

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=505465.60

He used others funds to put in the order at a cheaper price and reserve them. When he had to coins he just refunded them all.

What does that accomplish, faster shipping, cheaper price... great con.

Boom that was easy.

Everyone be sure to leave negative feedback on his profile
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=134259

So hold on, by the looks of what I read in that thread, he offered the miner's for sale, then for whatever reason refunded anyone who had given him funds.  Where's the scam!?  You think he did this just to get a cheaper price!?  That seems like a pretty risky thing to pull just for a discount.

At the end of the day this is your usual speculation and assumptions; YOU DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED or the circumstances around it, so you are not qualified to comment.

Again, it is a bad look, no doubt, but it doesn't actually PROVE anything!

As for communication with Ryan G, I have exchanged a number of emails with him over the last few weeks, including one today.  If people with concerns actually asked him nicely what the story is, then maybe you would get the same responsiveness that I have received.  But I guess some people have already passed judgement on him, proof or no proof, so I'm not quite sure why I'm wasting my time with this!

Again, I suggest that if those who think this is a scam would be courteous enough to put up a poll somewhere so that we can see the overall view of ALL shareholders, then maybe we can form some kind of consensus what to do about it.  Again, the actions of the few are jeopardizing the investments of the rest of us without us having a say in what's happening!  Come on guys, you may have good intentions, but you're potentially hurting the innocent bystanders here!

If there was a way to sabotage a legitimate exchange, then this would be the best possible way to do it.  Is it definitely legit?  I don't know yet.  But is it definitely a scam?  I don't know that yet either.  Keep gathering the facts and maybe we'll find that magic bullet the proves it either way beyond all doubt, but for the sake of everyone, please don't fire the gun before we all agree that that is the best way forward for everyone.
SamboNZ raises some really good points.  I know that I have certainly been guilty of assuming the worst without having actual knowledge of anything sinister going on in the past and perhaps my conclusion that I wouldn't see any return on my investment in CoinPal was indeed premature.  I did receive an e-mail from Ryan myself and he did seem fairly upset (judging by the tone of the e-mail) regarding all the scam accusations, now if he is indeed playing this completely on the level I for one can understand where he's coming from, but the truth is only time will tell ultimately.
1822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: June 15, 2014, 09:09:40 PM
Why price started decreasing again?

Silk Road bitcoins returning on the market, China fud, fear of 51% risk and thinking that the probability that the price could go down way more is increasing

The price may go lower but the upside potential is still huge and positive news have been piling up
Not to mention block-witholding issue(s).
1823  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are u mining directly? on: June 15, 2014, 08:48:31 PM
Have purchased/sold ~35GH worth of cloud mining on ghash.io over the past several months and aside from the occassional pool-related issue(s) never had any problems.

*Did I earn any real profit?  Nope, matter of fact I ended up losing money but it was a valuable learning experience Smiley

I do love the prime number 7.  Will be watching this thread, if it actually starts to gain a little traction I'll consider pointing a couple of my Heat-Box BFL's at it to see how it goes Wink
1825  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [IPO] CoinPal - Crypto-Currency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool {NEW} on: June 15, 2014, 08:12:12 PM
What has been achieved by getting a stop trade put on the CS account is to reduce the possibility that, if CoinPal is a legitimate enterprise, it will ever actually get off the ground!  Yes, you've all been crying 'SCAM' for weeks, but NO ONE has yet to uncover CONCLUSIVE proof that it actually is, historical misdemeanors by its owner or not!

Again, a minority of unhappy shareholders (and others) have made an 'executive' decision, the results of which will affect ALL shareholders AND THEIR INVESTMENT, with NO widespread consensus amongst stakeholders being sought!  And in case you can't tell, I'm not happy about it!

But I guess there's no real point in saying anything, since those involved don't seem to give a shit about anyone else, you'll do what you do, the rest of us be damned.

I'll tell you what has been achieved.  If CoinPal does turn out to be a scam and I think even you would find it hard to argue the point that evidence seems to be leaning in that direction, the purpose of getting CoinPal shutdown is to prevent any other poor unsuspecting investors from dumping additional monies into a Scam.
1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does the US Military Think Bitcoin Is a Terrorist Threat? on: June 15, 2014, 07:30:46 PM
The military doesn't do any thinking...they do what they are told.  Who tells them what to do you may ask?  Follow the mostly worthless paper-trail.  Orders are handed down by government, government is owned by private central bankers...nuff said

The government actually has influence over the central bankers.

Central banks should be independent but congress/the president could easily put influence on them.
Guess we will just have to agree to disagree on this one.  Personally I think it's entirely the other way around, he who controls the money-creation controls the guberment but hey, I'm no historian so I could be wrong.
1827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be your SR auction bid? on: June 15, 2014, 07:26:47 PM
I seriously doubt the average per coin sale price is going to be higher than what you can pick them up for on an exchange...if anything they should be fairly well discounted from current market price at the time of the sale.

My Guess: $515 (presuming BTC is still around $560-$570 by then)
1828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner on: June 15, 2014, 07:01:58 PM
This doesn't bode well at all.  Really wishing I would've paid the remainder of my order with a credit card now

Hope this doesn't turn into another HashFast situation Sad
1829  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [IPO] CoinPal - Crypto-Currency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool {NEW} on: June 15, 2014, 05:47:33 AM
Lets see if  Mr. Gay will respond to cryptostocks. I am pretty sure I am making life a little bit more and more difficult for him each day  Wink
Of this I have little doubt.  I hope you remain ever vigilant in your quest to call-out the scammers. Smiley
1830  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: June 15, 2014, 05:13:17 AM
Please hold off on making any Div. payment until they fix the wallet issues. Appears BTC deposits and withdraws are not working. Also, time to look for another exchange or go direct shares for now. At this point I don't trust CS at all.

Thanks for the update as well.
Crypto::Stocks wallet issue(s) have been resolved for quite sometime now.

*Can't wait for those dividends to start a flowin Wink
1831  Economy / Securities / Re: [RETURN] Announcing CoinReturn Financial IPO! on: June 15, 2014, 05:07:58 AM
Ummm is anybody concerned about no dividend payout yet for June 13th?

Not too worried yet.

*operative word here being 'yet'
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: New Darkcoin Faucet. Win up to $50 every hour on: June 15, 2014, 01:36:02 AM
Saaaweeet...GoDaddy is accepting darkcoin now?!?!  (sorry, couldn't resist :p)

Snapshots of this faucet to be do look pretty slick though I must say.  Good job!
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: June 15, 2014, 01:32:26 AM
CoinEX officially delisted from crypto::stocks as of today.

There some tune playing in the back of my head but I can't quite make it out...oh yeah!!

"Another one bites the dust!!"
1834  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [IPO] CoinPal - Crypto-Currency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool {NEW} on: June 15, 2014, 01:20:44 AM
Great work RiverBoatBTC, looks like there's a new CS security sheriff in town...come to think of it Kumala really should put you on the CS payroll Wink

I agree with BadPeanut's assessment as well...basically the only way Ryan can make good at this point is to initiate a buyback program for original 75 price.
1835  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ COINPAL.NET ] - "THE FUTURE OF CRYPTO CURRENCY EXCHANGE" - PRE-LAUNCH ANN on: June 15, 2014, 01:16:33 AM
Coinpal is now delisted from crypto::stocks it appears.
1836  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buy directly from LKETC, they dropped the price to 1599.88 shipped on: June 15, 2014, 01:08:27 AM
Did you find out if you can give a better price without a powersupply?
Same question
Also interested in whether or not pricing available for a unit without power supply?
1837  Economy / Securities / Re: Crypto stocks listing, CPW on: June 15, 2014, 12:54:27 AM
Any news about CPW?

They have been delisted without a comment...
Sadly no, just checked the status of my CPW shares and I'm not even seeing it listed under the [Account] [De-listed Shares] section so not really sure what's going on.
1838  Economy / Securities / Re: FASBIT - THE EXCHANGE YOU OWN. on: June 15, 2014, 12:22:43 AM
Well fellas...it appears as though I may have actually jumped the gun when I posted some negative feedback on fasbit's forum.  According to his last crypto::stocks update he has been out of town far away from technology and supposedly fasbit dividend coming in this evening.

Not entirely convinced this isn't still scammy behavior but I do feel obligated to delete the negative trust I posted on his account if he remains true to his word and will do so right after seeing the dividend hit my account.

Edit: dividend(s) for all three asset's (grid, fas, fasbit) have been paid.  Removing negative trust that I posted to his account.
